Description

Screening arrangement for workplaces
Technical Field
The invention relates to a shielding device for a workplace, said shielding device consisting of a wall part at least partly surrounding said workplace.
Background
The screening arrangement according to the invention is provided in particular for open offices and/or open workshops. Noise and lack of privacy are among the most important reasons for dissatisfaction with workplaces. Accordingly, many attempts have been made to make open offices and workplaces in open workshops more pleasing to the staff.
A known measure for screening out workplaces is a lightweight mobile screen, which is set up between workplaces or around a single workplace. However, such separators are often very disturbing and often do not achieve the desired effect.
Furthermore, for open offices and open workshops noise protection cabs are known, in which personnel can withdraw if they have to work with a more concentrated and noise-free condition. Such cabins set up in a fixed manner are relatively expensive and require additional parking positions, which are usually not present or desired. Furthermore, such cabins disturb the design of an open office of elegant style.
Disclosure of Invention
The task on which the invention is based is therefore: a shielding device for workplaces is provided which requires only a small amount of technical outlay on the device, which does not visually interfere and which can be brought into position automatically with little outlay by the respective staff concerned.
According to the invention, this task is solved by: the wall portions are positioned above the respective workplaces and can be lowered to shield the workplaces when required.
After lowering the wall, the respective employee can work without being affected by interference from his environment and at the same time he does not interfere with other employees working in the nearby environment.
The wall for shielding the workplace is preferably constructed as an arch and should at least partially shield the workplace from the environment in the lowered state.
In a preferred embodiment, the wall is configured to be closed around and able to completely enclose the respective workplace in the lowered state.
If a workplace freely positioned in the room is concerned, the wall can be configured, for example, as a column, preferably as a cylinder.
If the workplace is located in front of a wall or in a corner of a room, a half cylinder or quarter cylinder is sufficient if necessary
Alternatively, the wall can also have other configurations as desired, for example as a cuboid, cube, polygon, etc. The respective shielding device can be configured to be closed around or can also be configured to be open to one side depending on the respective site conditions.
If the wall for shielding is closed around, it is in any case advantageous if the wall is designed to be open upwards or if the wall is provided with an upper opening to ensure adequate air circulation.
In any case, the wall should be made of a solid material in order to ensure sufficient stability and a sufficient service life in daily use.
The wall according to the invention should first play a sound-insulating role, since noise pollution in open offices and open workshops is a major disturbing factor.
To achieve this, the material of the wall is usefully coated with a sound-insulating substance.
For example, the wall part can be composed of a hard fiber material which is coated with felt on one side or also on both sides.
Furthermore, the shielding device according to the invention can also be used for retrofitting and supplementing workplaces. For this purpose, it is practically possible to provide means for fastening the working device on the inside of the wall. Thus, for example, as an additional facility, a PC station can be installed on the inside of the wall, which PC station is only temporarily required. Furthermore, further monitors, displays and holders for other work devices, and if appropriate fastening devices or suspension devices for tools, can also be arranged on the inner side of the wall.
Preferably, the wall is suspended below the ceiling of the room on at least one raisable and lowerable rope with a rope pulling portion (seizug).
The rope can be guided around the wheels in the manner of pulley blocks in order to raise and lower the wall (in the case of heavy versions, for example) with little effort.
Furthermore, the rope can be equipped with a counterweight for balancing the weight of the wall portion in order to save more force consumption for the respective user.
Alternatively, a spring balancer (Federzug) can also be used as the rope pulling part, which requires only minimal outlay in terms of equipment technology.
In practice, the rope pulling part is equipped such that it can also be handled by the hand of the corresponding operator.
Alternatively, the rope pulling part can naturally also be actuated by an electric motor, in particular if it is of relatively heavy construction or if easy actuation by the respective user is desired.
In order to more conveniently design the handling of the screening arrangement according to the invention, the drive unit of the rope pulling part can also be controlled by means of a remote operating device, so that no laborious operations by the operator are required.
Drawings
The invention is illustrated by way of example in the accompanying drawings and described in detail below with reference to the drawings. It shows that:
fig. 1: a workplace having shielding suspended above it,
fig. 2: with the same construction as in figure 1 of the reduced shielding,
fig. 3: a shielding device incorporating a rope pulling portion in an upwardly pulled position,
fig. 4: with the same construction of the reduced shielding as in figure 3,
fig. 5: a shielding device carried by the metal cross,
fig. 6: another variant of the screening arrangement with a counterweight in the rope pulling part,
fig. 7: another variant of a screening arrangement which is held in an upper position by means of a pulley block, and
fig. 8: with the same configuration as in fig. 7 with the shielding lowered.
Detailed Description
In the embodiment shown in the figures, the shielding 1 consists of a peripherally closed wall 3, which has the shape of a cylinder 4.
In this case, the closed-around column 4 is suspended by means of a cable 8 from the ceiling 7 of the room, to be precise directly above the workplace 2. The diameter of the column 4 is here arranged to be such that it in the lowered state encloses the workplace 2 with a sufficient distance, as is shown in fig. 2.
The cylinder 4 forming the shielding 1 is made of a solid and substantially rigid material. The material is chosen such that it functions as a sound insulation. Here, the material forming the wall portion 3 of the column 4 can be coated with a sound-insulating material.
In a preferred embodiment of the screening arrangement according to the invention, the wall portion 3 forming the column 4 is made of a hard fibre material which is coated with felt on one or both sides.
After lowering the shielding 1 embodied as a column 4, the possibly occurring disturbing ambient noise is largely eliminated, so that the respective user can work without being influenced by the disturbing effects from his immediate environment.
If the user himself generates disturbing noise, for example at the workplace 2 in a larger shop, this noise is also reduced in the case of a reduced shielding device 1, so that personnel working in a more nearby environment are also less disturbed.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, any additional working devices 6, which are not always required and which are provided by lowering the column 4 when required, can be fastened to the inner wall of the column 4. If the screening arrangement 1 is used, for example, in an open office, additional monitors and displays can be fastened to the inner wall of the column 4 if necessary. In an open working chamber, for example, different tools (in particular defined special tools) can be detachably fastened to the inner face of the column 4, which tools are not always required and are provided to the user when the column 4 is lowered.
The embodiment of the shielding device 1 according to the invention shown in the drawings is used in particular for shielding an empty workplace 2. In contrast, if the workplace is mounted in front of a wall, the wall portion 3 only needs to be constructed in the form of a half cylinder. For workplaces in the corners of a room, a cylinder extending 90 ° may be sufficient.
The shielding device according to the invention is in no way limited to a cylindrical wall portion 3. Depending on the given site conditions or the desired design, differently designed wall sections 3 are also possible, for example in the form of cuboids, cubes, polygons or the like, which completely enclose or only partially shield the respective work site.
In the wall 3 closed around, for example in the column 4, the upper side should be open or should have a large opening 5, whereby no air stagnation occurs in the shielding and a good air circulation is ensured.
In the exemplary embodiment shown in fig. 3 and 4, the shielding is again formed as a cylinder 4. At the upper edge of the column 4 a rope 8 is fastened, which is connected to a rope pulling part 9 via a fixed pulley 10 mounted on the ceiling 7 of the room, so that the user can lower the screening device himself or move it upwards if desired.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 5, the column 4 is suspended from a metal cross 11. The metal cross 11 can then be handled by the user by means of a rope 8 which is guided via two wheels 10 fixedly mounted on the ceiling of the room.
The same applies to the embodiment according to fig. 6, in which a counterweight 12 balancing the weight of the column 4 is fastened on the rope 8, so that the user does not need to use great effort to manoeuvre the screening arrangement 1.
The same applies to the embodiments according to fig. 7 and 8. In this embodiment, the raising and lowering of the screening arrangement 1 is achieved by means of a rope pulling part which is guided around a fixed pulley 10 and two movable pulleys 13 arranged on the ceiling 7 of the room in the manner of a pulley block 14. In this embodiment, a counterweight 12 for balancing the weight of the column 4 or the wall 3 can also be provided in the rope 8.
In addition to the rope pulling part 9 shown in fig. 1 to 8, other rope pulling parts can also be used, for example a spring balancer known per se, which is not shown separately in the figures, in which the spring is tensioned when the column 4 is pulled down, which spring winds up the rope by means of the spring when the column 4 is pushed up.
Instead of manual actuation of the shielding device 1, a different type of rope pulling 9 can also be actuated by means of an electric motor. An electric drive of the rope pulling part 9, which is not shown separately in the figures, can be controlled by the user via a remote operating device when required.
The apparatus according to the invention is a very pleasant extension for any open office or any open yard. The wall 3, which is configured as a cylinder 4 or otherwise, can be provided with correspondingly adapted colors and patterns in the form of design elements for the spatial configuration at the same time. In any case, the noise reduction that can be achieved at least temporarily and the perception of the newly created private domain will contribute to the satisfaction of the corresponding employee.
