The session management network element (Session Management Function, SMF) is configured to implement session management functions in the 5G network, and is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and terminating session connection of a User Equipment (UE), and processing User data distribution and forwarding requests. The unified data management network element (Unified Data Management, UDM) is used for implementing a unified data management function in the 5G network, and is responsible for storing and managing user data and policy information about subscribers. The data network name (Data Network Name, DNN) is an identifier in the 5G network identifying different service types and applications, which defines the network and services to which the user equipment needs to be connected, such as the internet or the internet of things. The user equipment refers to a device connected to the 5G network. Subscription management (Subscription Management, SM) subscription information refers to subscription data related to user equipment, including authentication, network access rights, service subscription, security policies, etc. This information is critical to establishing the session channel. For example, the authentication and access rights information provided by the SM subscription information is used to verify the validity of the user equipment and to confirm whether it has the right to establish the session channel. The configuration of related security policies in SM subscription information, such as encryption algorithm, security parameters, etc., is used to ensure the security of session channels and to protect the confidentiality of user data. The service information subscribed by the user in the SM subscription information, such as mobile broadband packages, voice call plans, etc., is used to indicate the service policy limitation corresponding to the session channel. In summary, the SM subscription information is used to ensure that the established session channel is legal, secure and consistent with the user subscription.
Illustratively, the user equipment communicates with the 5G network through a radio access network. The original session management network element may acquire a first session establishment request of the user equipment for the first data network name, and interact with the unified data management network element according to the first session establishment request, so as to acquire first subscription management subscription information associated with the first data network name in the unified data management network element. The first subscription management subscription information is subscription management subscription information with the user device.

The anchor session management network element may interact with the unified data management network element to obtain second subscription management subscription information associated with the second data name, and the anchor session management network element may establish a session channel based on the second subscription management subscription information.
S208, the session information carried by the session channel is acquired through the original session management network element, and the session information is mapped to the first data network name or the second data network name.
The original session management network element receives data sent by the user equipment by acquiring a session message carried by the session channel. It will be appreciated that when the user equipment sends a session message via the session channel, the session message described above will be transmitted to the original session management network element. When the session message of the user equipment is acquired, the mapped target data network name is determined according to the content of the session message. The target data network name may include any one of a first data network name and a second data network name. And transmitting the session message to the target data network corresponding to the target data network name through the original session management network element. It will be appreciated that different DNN values may direct session messages to different target data networks, such as the internet, the internet of things, or an enterprise VPN.

The unified data management network element can respond to the request of accessing the mobile management network element, sign up a plurality of data network names for the user equipment at the same time, and feed back sign up information of the first data network name and the second data network name to the access mobile management network element. The access mobility management element may determine that registration is complete upon obtaining subscription information for the first data network name and the second data network name. It is understood that the subscription information for the first data network name and the second data network name may include first subscription management subscription information and second subscription management subscription information.
In some embodiments, the unified data management network element may acquire a preset parameter value corresponding to the second data network name, and set the preset parameter value in the second subscription management subscription information.
In some embodiments, the second data network name is a non-first data network name, and the second data network name may include at least one data network name. Wherein the target parameter item may be a charging characteristic item (Charging Characteristics, CC). In the subscription information, charging Characteristics refers to an attribute related to charging of the user equipment, and describes information such as a charging policy, rate calculation, and charging period. The unified data management network element has the capability to set Charging Characteristics, so that session establishment of the first data network name can be redirected to other different data network names by the unified data management network element setting different parameter values under the charging characteristic item.
For example, the original session management network element may obtain the target parameter value under the target parameter item in the first subscription management subscription information. And redirecting the original session management network element to the second data network name corresponding to the target parameter value under the condition that the target parameter value is the preset parameter value. In some embodiments, the first data network name refers to a data network name used by the user equipment to connect to the public network; the second data network name refers to a data network name used by the user device to connect to the private network.
The network session processing method provided by the embodiment of the application can be applied to a dual-domain private network scene. The user equipment typically initiates session establishment using a generic DNN, and to avoid retrofitting the user equipment, the generic data network name is taken as the first data network name and the private data network name is taken as the second data network name. Furthermore, when the user equipment initiates the session establishment by using the universal DNN, the original session management network element redirects the session establishment of the universal DNN to other different special DNNs by using different preset parameter values associated with the universal DNN. For example, cc=100 corresponds to the dedicated DNN2, cc=110 corresponds to the dedicated DNN3. The original session management network element selects an anchor session management network element according to the redirected dedicated DNN, and sends a session establishment request of the redirected dedicated DNN to the anchor session management network element as an intermediate session management network element, and completes the subsequent flow.
