The virtual machine monitoring system provided by the invention can dynamically monitor target monitoring data and system performance concerned by a developer or a user, reduce transmission bandwidth required by transmitting the monitoring data and provide convenience for development and test of an embedded virtualization system.
Example two
Fig. 5 is a flowchart of a virtual machine monitoring method according to a second embodiment of the present invention, where the virtual machine monitoring method may be used in a virtual machine monitoring system. As shown in fig. 5, the virtual machine monitoring method specifically includes:
s210, collecting target monitoring data corresponding to each target monitoring object in the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager through a data collecting tool.
S220, the target monitoring data are sent to the serial port monitoring tool.
And S230, displaying the target monitoring data corresponding to each target monitoring object in the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager on a graphical interface.
Optionally, the virtual machine monitoring method further includes:
starting the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager before the target monitoring data corresponding to each target monitoring object in the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager are acquired through a data acquisition tool by the virtual machine initialization module running on the host;
and initializing the event monitoring module operated by the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager, registering the object to be monitored, and initializing a data acquisition tool corresponding to the object to be monitored.
Optionally, the virtual machine monitoring method further includes:
transmitting information corresponding to the object to be monitored and the data acquisition tool to the monitoring agent module through the event monitoring module;
the information is sent to the serial port monitoring tool through the monitoring agent module;
and displaying the objects to be monitored and the data to be monitored corresponding to each object to be monitored through the graphical interface by the serial port monitoring tool, wherein the data to be monitored is determined based on the data acquisition tool.
Optionally, the serial port monitoring tool further comprises a monitoring object subscription unit, a monitoring data acquisition unit and a monitoring instruction sending unit; wherein,
after the objects to be monitored and the data to be monitored corresponding to each object to be monitored are displayed through the graphical interface, subscribing at least one object to be monitored in response to a monitoring object subscribing operation, and taking the subscribed object to be monitored as the target monitoring object;
subscribing at least one piece of data to be monitored according to the target monitoring object and responding to a monitoring data subscribing operation through the monitoring data collecting unit, and taking the subscribed data to be monitored as the target monitoring data;
and generating a monitoring task instruction based on the monitoring object subscription operation and the monitoring data subscription operation through the monitoring instruction transmitting unit, and transmitting the monitoring task instruction to the monitoring agent module.
Optionally, the virtual machine monitoring method further includes:
obtaining a monitoring subscription list corresponding to the serial monitoring tool according to the monitoring task instruction through the monitoring agent module, and sending the monitoring subscription list to the event monitoring module;
and monitoring the virtual machine and the virtual machine manager based on the monitoring subscription list through the event monitoring module.
Optionally, the serial port monitoring tool further comprises a subscription cancellation unit and a task modification unit; wherein,
canceling, by the subscription cancellation unit, subscription to at least one of the target monitoring data corresponding to the target monitoring object in response to a data subscription cancellation operation, or canceling subscription to the target monitoring object in response to an object subscription cancellation operation;
and generating a task modification instruction based on the data subscription cancellation operation or the object subscription cancellation operation through the task modification unit, and sending the task modification instruction to the monitoring agent module.
Optionally, the virtual machine monitoring method further includes:
updating the monitoring subscription list corresponding to the serial port monitoring tool according to the task modification instruction through the monitoring agent module, and sending the updated monitoring subscription list to the event monitoring module;
and monitoring the virtual machine and the virtual machine manager based on the updated monitoring subscription list through the event monitoring module.
Optionally, the serial port monitoring tool further includes a task cancelling unit; wherein,
generating a task cancellation instruction in response to a task cancellation operation through the task cancellation unit, and sending the task cancellation instruction to the monitoring agent module;
canceling subscription of the target monitoring object and the target monitoring data through the monitoring agent module;
and canceling monitoring of the target monitoring object and the target monitoring data through the event monitoring module.
Optionally, the virtual machine monitoring method further includes:
before the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager are started, codes corresponding to the event monitoring module are added into the virtual machine and the virtual machine manager, codes corresponding to the object to be monitored are added, and codes corresponding to the data acquisition tool are added at target monitoring points through the preset module running on the host.
According to the technical scheme, the event monitoring module is respectively operated on a virtual machine to be monitored and a virtual machine manager, is communicated with the monitoring agent module through a virtual serial port, and is used for collecting target monitoring data corresponding to each target monitoring object in the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager through a data collecting tool and sending the target monitoring data to the monitoring agent module; the monitoring agent module is operated on the virtual machine manager, communicated with the serial port monitoring tool through a physical serial port and used for sending the target monitoring data to the serial port monitoring tool; the serial port monitoring tool is operated on a host computer and used for displaying the target monitoring data corresponding to each target monitoring object in the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager on a graphical interface. Based on the technical scheme of the invention, the monitoring stability of the virtual machines can be improved, the running data of each virtual machine can be monitored in real time in a visualized manner, the individuation and comprehensive monitoring are ensured, the abnormal virtual machines can be accurately monitored, and the user experience is improved.

Claims (7)

1. A virtual machine monitoring system, comprising: the system comprises an event monitoring module, a monitoring agent module and a serial port monitoring tool; wherein,
the event monitoring module is two event monitoring modules running in different operating systems, respectively running in a virtual machine to be monitored and a virtual machine manager, communicating with the monitoring agent module through a virtual serial port, and acquiring target monitoring data corresponding to each target monitoring object in the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager through a data acquisition tool, and sending the target monitoring data to the monitoring agent module;
the monitoring agent module is operated on the virtual machine manager, communicated with the serial port monitoring tool through a physical serial port and used for sending the target monitoring data to the serial port monitoring tool;
the serial port monitoring tool is operated on a host computer and used for displaying the target monitoring data corresponding to each target monitoring object in the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager on a graphical interface;
the virtual machine monitoring system further comprises a virtual machine initialization module running on the host; wherein,
the virtual machine initializing module is used for starting the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager before target monitoring data corresponding to each target monitoring object in the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager are collected through the data collecting tool;
the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager are used for initializing the event monitoring module operated by the virtual machine to be monitored, registering the object to be monitored and initializing a data acquisition tool corresponding to the object to be monitored;
the event monitoring module is used for sending information corresponding to the object to be monitored and the data acquisition tool to the monitoring agent module;
the monitoring agent module is used for sending the information to the serial port monitoring tool;
the serial port monitoring tool is used for displaying the objects to be monitored and the data to be monitored corresponding to each object to be monitored through the graphical interface, wherein the data to be monitored is determined based on the data acquisition tool;
the serial port monitoring tool further comprises a monitoring object subscription unit, a monitoring data acquisition unit and a monitoring instruction sending unit; wherein,
the monitoring object subscribing unit is used for subscribing at least one monitoring object in response to the monitoring object subscribing operation after the monitoring objects and the data to be monitored corresponding to each monitoring object are displayed through the graphical interface, and taking the subscribed monitoring objects as the target monitoring objects;
the monitoring data acquisition unit is used for subscribing at least one piece of data to be monitored according to the target monitoring object in response to a monitoring data subscription operation, and taking the subscribed data to be monitored as the target monitoring data;
the monitoring instruction sending unit is used for generating a monitoring task instruction based on the monitoring object subscription operation and the monitoring data subscription operation and sending the monitoring task instruction to the monitoring agent module.
2. The system according to claim 1, wherein:
the monitoring agent module is used for obtaining a monitoring subscription list corresponding to the serial port monitoring tool according to the monitoring task instruction and sending the monitoring subscription list to the event monitoring module;
the event monitoring module is used for monitoring the virtual machine and the virtual machine manager based on the monitoring subscription list.
3. The system of claim 2, wherein the serial port monitoring tool further comprises a subscription cancellation unit and a task modification unit; wherein,
the subscription cancellation unit is used for canceling the subscription of at least one target monitoring data corresponding to the target monitoring object in response to a data subscription cancellation operation or canceling the subscription of the target monitoring object in response to an object subscription cancellation operation;
the task modification unit is used for generating a task modification instruction based on the data subscription cancellation operation or the object subscription cancellation operation and sending the task modification instruction to the monitoring agent module.
4. A system according to claim 3, characterized in that:
the monitoring agent module is used for updating the monitoring subscription list corresponding to the serial port monitoring tool according to the task modification instruction and sending the updated monitoring subscription list to the event monitoring module;
the event monitoring module is used for monitoring the virtual machine and the virtual machine manager based on the updated monitoring subscription list.
5. The system of claim 1, wherein the serial port monitoring tool further comprises a task cancellation unit; wherein,
the task cancellation unit is used for responding to a task cancellation operation, generating a task cancellation instruction and sending the task cancellation instruction to the monitoring agent module;
the monitoring agent module is used for canceling subscription to the target monitoring object and the target monitoring data;
the event monitoring module is used for canceling the monitoring of the target monitoring object and the target monitoring data.
6. The system as recited in claim 1, further comprising: a preset module running on the host, wherein,
the preset module is used for adding codes corresponding to the event monitoring module, codes corresponding to the object to be monitored and codes corresponding to the data acquisition tool at the target monitoring point in the virtual machine and the virtual machine manager before the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager are started.
7. A virtual machine monitoring method for use in the virtual machine monitoring system of any one of claims 1-6, comprising:
acquiring target monitoring data corresponding to each target monitoring object in the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager through a data acquisition tool;
transmitting the target monitoring data to the serial port monitoring tool;
displaying the target monitoring data corresponding to each target monitoring object in the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager on a graphical interface;
the virtual machine monitoring method further comprises the following steps:
starting the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager before the target monitoring data corresponding to each target monitoring object in the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager are acquired through a data acquisition tool by the virtual machine initialization module running on the host;
initializing the event monitoring module operated by the virtual machine to be monitored and the virtual machine manager, registering the object to be monitored, and initializing a data acquisition tool corresponding to the object to be monitored;
the virtual machine monitoring method further comprises the following steps:
transmitting information corresponding to the object to be monitored and the data acquisition tool to the monitoring agent module through the event monitoring module;
the information is sent to the serial port monitoring tool through the monitoring agent module;
displaying the objects to be monitored and the data to be monitored corresponding to each object to be monitored through the graphical interface by the serial port monitoring tool, wherein the data to be monitored is determined based on the data acquisition tool;
the serial port monitoring tool further comprises a monitoring object subscription unit, a monitoring data acquisition unit and a monitoring instruction sending unit; wherein,
after the objects to be monitored and the data to be monitored corresponding to each object to be monitored are displayed through the graphical interface, subscribing at least one object to be monitored in response to a monitoring object subscribing operation, and taking the subscribed object to be monitored as the target monitoring object;
subscribing at least one piece of data to be monitored according to the target monitoring object and responding to a monitoring data subscribing operation through the monitoring data collecting unit, and taking the subscribed data to be monitored as the target monitoring data;
and generating a monitoring task instruction based on the monitoring object subscription operation and the monitoring data subscription operation through the monitoring instruction transmitting unit, and transmitting the monitoring task instruction to the monitoring agent module.
