Abstract

The invention provides an electronic device, which comprises a machine body and a fan module. The machine body is provided with an opening. The fan module is arranged in the machine body and comprises a base, a locking frame and a fan. The base is connected with the machine body and is provided with two sliding grooves. The locking frame is movably arranged on the base and corresponds to the opening in position. The locking frame is provided with two bolts, a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The two bolts are positioned at two opposite sides of the locking frame. The fan is suitable for being locked and attached to the first surface or the second surface of the locking frame. The bolt is inserted into the chute and is suitable for rotating and sliding relative to the chute so that the first surface or the second surface of the locking frame is exposed to the opening.

Technical Field
The present invention relates to an electronic device, and more particularly, to an electronic device with a fan module.
Background
Compared with portable notebook computers and tablet computers, the desktop computer host can be manufactured into a larger volume because the desktop computer host has no need for users to carry and move at any time, and the heat dissipation space inside the desktop computer host is increased. Therefore, the desktop computer host can provide relatively better heat dissipation effect, and the operation efficiency is higher than that of the notebook computer and the tablet computer. In an embodiment of the invention, the locking frame is adapted to be screwed out of the machine body through the opening, and the locking frame is adapted to slide reciprocally between two opposite sides of the opening.

Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Wherever possible, the same reference numbers will be used throughout the drawings and the description to refer to the same or like parts.
Fig. 1 is a schematic perspective view of an electronic device according to a first embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the fan module of fig. 1. Fig. 3 and 4 are exploded views of the fan module of fig. 2 at different angles. Rectangular coordinates X-Y-Z are provided herein for ease of description. Referring to fig. 1, 2, 3 and 4, the electronic device 50 of the present embodiment is a desktop computer host, but is not limited thereto. The electronic device 50 includes a body 51 and a fan module 100, wherein the body 51 has an opening 51a, the fan module 100 is disposed inside the body 51, and the fan module 100 corresponds to the opening 51a of the body 51 in position.
Specifically, the fan module 100 includes a base 110, a locking rack 120, and a fan (e.g., fan 130 or fan 140). The base 110 is connected to the body 51, and the base 110 has two sliding grooves 111, wherein the two sliding grooves 111 are respectively located at two opposite sides of the base 110.
The locking frame 120 is movably disposed on the base 110, and the locking frame 120 corresponds to the opening 51a in position, so as to be suitable for partially passing through the opening 51a. The locking frame 120 has two pins 121, a first surface 122 and a second surface 123 opposite to the first surface 122. The two pins 121 are located at opposite sides of the locking frame 120. The fan 130 is adapted to be locked to the first face 122 of the lock bracket 120 or the fan 140 is adapted to be locked to the second face 123 of the lock bracket 120. The two pins 121 are respectively inserted into the two corresponding sliding grooves 111, so as to be suitable for rotating around the X axis and sliding along the Z axis relative to the two corresponding sliding grooves 111, so that the first surface 122 or the second surface 123 of the locking frame 120 is exposed to the opening 51a. The fan 130 is installed or removed by a user when the first face 122 of the locking bracket 120 is exposed to the opening 51a, and the fan 140 is installed or removed by a user when the second face 123 of the locking bracket 120 is exposed to the opening 51a.
Therefore, in the electronic device 50 of the present invention, the body 51 can be replaced by a fan (such as the fan 130 or the fan 140) without turning off, so that the loss of operation cost of the electronic device 50 due to the turning off can be avoided, and the fan 130 or the fan 140 can be directly removed from the locking frame 120 without removing any housing of the body 51, so that the replacement of the fan 130 or the fan 140 is simple and convenient, and the electronic device 50 of the present invention has excellent use convenience as a whole.
Fig. 5 to 10 illustrate a flow of replacing a fan of the electronic device of fig. 1. Referring to fig. 6, 7, 8 and 9, the following description will correspondingly describe the process of replacing the fan according to the present disclosure, the locking frame 120 of the present embodiment is suitable for rotating clockwise around the X-axis and rotating out of the machine body 51 through the opening 51a as in the process of fig. 6 to 7, or rotating counterclockwise around the X-axis and rotating out of the machine body 51 through the opening 51a as in the process of fig. 9 to 8, and the locking frame 120 is suitable for sliding reciprocally along the Z-axis between two opposite sides of the opening 51a as in the process of fig. 7 and 8.
Each latch 121 is located on one side of the locking bracket 120. In other words, the two pins 121 are located at two corners of the locking frame 120. Therefore, during the process of rotating the locking frame 120 relative to the machine body 51, the locking frame 120 does not move into the machine body 51, and the internal space of the machine body 51 can be effectively utilized.
Referring to fig. 2, 3 and 4, the base 110 has two first locking holes 112. The locking bracket 120 has a locking lug 124. The locking lugs 124 are adapted to pass through and lock with the corresponding two first locking holes 112.
With further reference to fig. 5, the electronic device 50 further comprises a connection line 150. The connection line 150 has a first connector 151, a second connector 152, and a third connector 153. The first connector 151 is electrically coupled to the body 51, and is, for example, electrically coupled to a motherboard inside the body 51. The second connector 152 is inserted into the locking frame 120 and exposed to the first surface 122, and is adapted to electrically couple to the fan 130. The third connector 153 is inserted into the locking frame 120 and exposed to the second surface 123, and is adapted to electrically couple to the fan 140.
Further describing the structure of the locking frame 120, the locking frame 120 includes a first frame 125 and a second frame 126. The first frame 125 has the first surface 122, and the first frame 125 is suitable for locking the fan 130. The second frame 126 is connected to the first frame 125 and has the second surface 123, and the second frame 126 is suitable for locking the fan 140. The first frame 125 and the second frame 126 are adapted to be fastened and fixed to each other by a screw-locking manner, wherein the connecting wire 150 may be disposed between the first frame 125 and the second frame 126, the second connector 152 is inserted into the first frame 125 and adapted to be inserted from the first face 122 for connection with a power cord of the fan 130, and the third connector 153 is inserted into the second frame 126 and adapted to be inserted from the second face 123 for connection with a power cord of the fan 140.
Referring to fig. 2, 3, 4 and 5, the locking frame 120 has a plurality of second locking holes 127 and ventilation holes 128. The second lock holes 127 are located on the same pitch diameter PCD, and the second lock holes 127 are located on the first surface 122 and the second surface 123, respectively. The fans 130, 140 are, for example, of a size of 4 cm by 4 cm, and are adapted to be fixed to the second locking holes 127, but the invention is not limited thereto.
The above description is directed to various structures of the electronic device 50, and the following description is given of how the electronic device 50 can replace the fan 130 or the fan 140 without disassembling the body 51:
referring to fig. 1, 3, 4 and 5, in fig. 1, taking the fan 130 mounted on the first surface 122 of the locking frame 120 as an example, at this time, the locking lugs 124 of the locking frame 120 may be fixed to the corresponding first locking holes 112 by screws, and both the first surface 122 of the locking frame 120 and the fan 130 are located inside the machine body 51. When the fan 130 needs to be replaced, the fan 140 is first mounted on the second surface 123 of the locking frame 120 as shown in fig. 6, wherein the second surface 123 is located outside the machine body 51, which is very convenient for the user to directly mount. Next, the screw is removed to release the lugs 124 and the lock bracket 120 is rotated clockwise about the X-axis as shown in fig. 6-7 to allow the lock bracket 120 with the fan 130 to pass through the opening 51a. Thereafter, the lock bracket 120 is moved from one side of the opening 51a to the other side of the opening 51a in the positive Z-axis direction as shown in fig. 7 to 8. Next, the locking frame 120 is rotated clockwise about the X-axis as shown in fig. 8 to 9 so that the locking frame 120 together with the fan 140 passes through the opening 51a and moves into the interior of the body 51. Finally, the locking lug 124 is locked into the other first locking hole 112 to fix the locking frame 120, and the fan 130 is removed.
Conversely, when the fan 140 needs to be replaced, the fan 140 can be replaced by the fan 130 only by the reverse steps in the sequence from fig. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 and 5.
Fig. 11 is a schematic perspective view of a locking frame according to a second embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 11, the locking frame 120A of the present embodiment is manufactured by a manufacturing method such as plastic injection molding or die casting, and is simplified to be a single piece.
Fig. 12 is a schematic perspective view of a locking frame according to a third embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 11, the locking frame 120B of the present embodiment has a plurality of second locking holes 127B and a plurality of third locking holes 127C. The second lock holes 127B are located on the same pitch diameter PCD1, the third lock holes 127C are located on the same pitch diameter PCD2, and the pitch diameter PCD1 of the second lock holes 127B is different from the pitch diameter PCD2 of the third lock holes 127C, so that fans with different sizes can be simultaneously locked, for example, a user can lock fans with a size of 5 cm by 5 cm or a size of 9 cm by 9 cm according to the requirement. In addition, the locking frame 120B has a plurality of ribs 129B, the second locking holes 127B are located on the ribs 129B, and the second locking holes 127B are located within the range of the ventilation holes 128.
In summary, in the electronic device of the present invention, the body can be replaced without being turned off, so that the loss of operation cost caused by the shutdown of the electronic device can be avoided, and the fan can be directly removed from the locking frame without removing any housing of the body, so that the replacement of the fan is simple and convenient, and the electronic device of the present invention has excellent use convenience as a whole.

Claims (10)

1. An electronic device, comprising:
a body having an opening; and
fan module, set up in the organism, the fan module includes:
the base is connected with the machine body and provided with two sliding grooves;
the locking frame is movably arranged on the base and corresponds to the opening in position, wherein the locking frame is provided with two bolts, a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, and the two bolts are positioned on two opposite sides of the locking frame; and
a fan adapted to be locked to the first face or the second face of the locking frame,
the two bolts are respectively inserted into the two sliding grooves and are suitable for rotating and sliding relative to the corresponding two sliding grooves, so that the first surface or the second surface of the locking frame is exposed to the opening.
2. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the locking frame is adapted to be screwed out of the body through the opening, and the locking frame is adapted to reciprocally slide between opposite sides of the opening.
3. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the base has two first locking holes, the locking frame has locking lugs, and the locking lugs are suitable for screws to pass through and be locked to the corresponding two first locking holes.
4. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the two sliding grooves are respectively located at two opposite sides of the base.
5. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein one of the two pins is located on one side of the locking frame.
6. The electronic device of claim 1, further comprising:
the connecting wire is provided with a first connector, a second connector and a third connector, wherein the first connector is electrically coupled with the machine body, the second connector is inserted into the locking frame and exposed on the first surface, and the third connector is inserted into the locking frame and exposed on the second surface.
7. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the locking bracket comprises:
the first frame body is provided with the first surface and is suitable for locking and attaching the fan; and
the second frame body is connected with the first frame body, provided with the second surface and suitable for locking and attaching the fan.
8. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the locking frame has a plurality of second locking holes, the plurality of second locking holes being located on a same pitch diameter.

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the locking frame has a plurality of second locking holes and a plurality of third locking holes, the second locking holes are located on a same pitch diameter, the third locking holes are located on a same pitch diameter, and the pitch diameter of the second locking holes is different from the pitch diameter of the third locking holes.
10. The electronic device of claim 9, wherein the locking frame has a plurality of ribs, and the plurality of second locking holes are located on the plurality of ribs.
