It should be understood that the drawings and embodiments of the present disclosure are for illustration purposes only and are not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure.
In describing embodiments of the present disclosure, the term "comprising" and its like should be taken to be open-ended, i.e., including, but not limited to. The term "based on" should be understood as "based at least in part on". The term "one embodiment" or "the embodiment" should be understood as "at least one embodiment". The term "some embodiments" should be understood as "at least some embodiments". Other explicit and implicit definitions are also possible below.
In this context, unless explicitly stated otherwise, performing a step "in response to a" does not mean that the step is performed immediately after "a", but may include one or more intermediate steps.
It will be appreciated that the data (including but not limited to the data itself, the acquisition or use of the data) involved in the present technical solution should comply with the corresponding legal regulations and the requirements of the relevant regulations.
It will be appreciated that prior to using the technical solutions disclosed in the embodiments of the present disclosure, the user should be informed and authorized of the type, usage range, usage scenario, etc. of the personal information related to the present disclosure in an appropriate manner according to relevant legal regulations.
For example, in response to receiving an active request from a user, a prompt is sent to the user to explicitly prompt the user that the operation it is requesting to perform will require personal information to be obtained and used with the user. Thus, the user can autonomously select whether to provide personal information to software or hardware such as an electronic device, an application program, a server or a storage medium for executing the operation of the technical scheme of the present disclosure according to the prompt information.
As an alternative but non-limiting embodiment, in response to receiving an active request from a user, the prompt may be sent to the user, for example, in a pop-up window in which the prompt may be presented in text. In addition, a selection control for the user to select "agree" or "disagree" to provide personal information to the electronic device may also be carried in the pop-up window.
It will be appreciated that the above-described notification and user authorization process is merely illustrative and not limiting of the embodiments of the present disclosure, and that other ways of satisfying relevant legal regulations may be applied to the embodiments of the present disclosure.
As mentioned briefly above, people are able to take many forms of interactions with internet-based content in the process of obtaining such content. In some cases, a publisher (e.g., an author of an article) may also participate in such an interaction process and generate corresponding interaction content, such as comment content published by the author.
Traditional content presentation methods typically rely on whether the publisher desires to highlight particular content. However, such a mechanism requires an additional operation by the publisher, and it is difficult to ensure that its highlighted content is what the user desires to acquire.
Embodiments of the present disclosure propose a content presentation scheme. According to the scheme, a set of interactive contents published by a publisher of target contents in a certain time period is obtained. Based on the correlation of the set of interactive contents and the target interface to be provided, target interactive contents are determined from the set of interactive contents. A target interface is provided that includes a preset area for providing target interactive content. In this way, the interactive content released by the target content release can be highlighted on the target interface, which is helpful for improving the efficiency of the user to obtain the content.
FIG. 1 illustrates a schematic diagram of an example environment 100 in which embodiments of the present disclosure may be implemented. As shown in fig. 1, an example environment 100 may include a terminal device 110.
In this example environment 100, an application 120 is installed in a terminal device 110. The user 140 may interact with the application 120 via the terminal device 110 and/or its attached device. The application 120 may be a social application, a multimedia application, a book reading application, or the like, which may publish content and present content, or any other suitable application.
In the environment 100 of fig. 1, the terminal device 110 may present an interface 150 of the application 120 if the application 120 is in an active state. Interface 150 may include various types of interfaces that application 120 may provide, such as an interface to a personal home page, a content push interface, a content authoring interface, a content publishing interface, a messaging interface, and so forth. Via the corresponding interfaces, the application 120 can provide one or more services related to the content to the user 140, including creation, posting, browsing, commenting, forwarding, etc. of the content. Herein, "content" includes one or more types of content, such as images, image sets, video, motion pictures, audio, text, and so forth.
In some embodiments, terminal device 110 communicates with server 130 to enable provisioning of services for application 120. The terminal device 110 may be any type of mobile terminal, fixed terminal, or portable terminal, including a mobile handset, desktop computer, laptop computer, notebook computer, netbook computer, tablet computer, media computer, multimedia tablet, personal Communication System (PCS) device, personal navigation device, personal Digital Assistant (PDA), audio/video player, digital camera/camcorder, positioning device, television receiver, radio broadcast receiver, electronic book device, game device, or any combination of the preceding, including accessories and peripherals for these devices, or any combination thereof. In some embodiments, terminal device 110 is also capable of supporting any type of interface to the user (such as "wearable" circuitry, etc.).
The server 130 may be an independent physical server, a server cluster or a distributed system formed by a plurality of physical servers, or a cloud server providing cloud services, cloud databases, cloud computing, cloud functions, cloud storage, network services, cloud communication, middleware services, domain name services, security services, a content distribution network, basic cloud computing services such as big data and an artificial intelligence platform. Server 130 may include, for example, a computing system/server, such as a mainframe, edge computing node, computing device in a cloud environment, and so on. Server 130 may provide background services for applications 120 in terminal device 110 that support content presentation.
A communication connection may be established between server 130 and electronic device 110. The communication connection may be established by wired means or wireless means. The communication connection may include, but is not limited to, a bluetooth connection, a mobile network connection, a universal serial bus connection, a wireless fidelity connection, etc., as embodiments of the disclosure are not limited in this respect. In embodiments of the present disclosure, the server 130 and the electronic device 110 may implement signaling interactions through a communication connection therebetween.
It should be understood that the structure and function of the various elements in environment 100 are described for illustrative purposes only and are not meant to suggest any limitation as to the scope of the disclosure.
Fig. 2 illustrates a flow chart of a content presentation process 200 according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. Process 200 may be implemented at terminal device 110, server 130, and/or a combination of both, and for ease of description, terminal device 110, server 130, and/or a combination of both are described below in terms of an electronic device. For ease of discussion, the process 200 will be described with reference to the environment 100 of FIG. 1.
At block 210, the electronic device obtains a set of interactive content published by a publisher of the target content over a first period of time. In some embodiments, the application 120 installed on the terminal device 110 can provide browsing, authoring, commenting, forwarding, publishing, etc. functionality of the content. When the application 120 is in an active state, the electronic device may acquire the content that the user publishes in the application 120 (the terminal device 110 may directly acquire the content that the user publishes in the application 120, or the server 130 that provides a background service for the application 120 may acquire the content that the user publishes in the application 120 through a communication connection with the terminal device 110).
The user who publishes the content may also be called a publisher (or publisher), and the published content may be content authored by the publisher or may be content forwarded by the publisher. The electronic device may determine content published by the user that matches the application type of the application 120 as target content. As an example, if the application 120 is a book-reading type application, the electronic device may determine article content or a portion of article content (e.g., paragraph content or chapter content) published by the user as the target content. If the application 120 is a multimedia application, the electronic device may determine the multimedia content or a portion of the multimedia content (e.g., several frames of video) published by the user as the target content. The electronic device 110 may determine other content posted by a publisher of the target content as interactive content, such as comment content for the target content, topic paste content for a topic, and the like.
In some embodiments, the electronic device may provide the publisher with a user interface including at least one interactive component, which may be an interface provided by the application 120 or a web site interface provided by a browser. For ease of discussion, the interface of the application will be described below as an example. The interaction components may include, for example, comment components, topic components, story components, author components, and so forth. The electronic device can determine content published by the publisher using the interaction component as interactive content. For example, where the publisher is an author of a literary work (e.g., an article, a novel, a comic, etc.), the electronic device may determine an author comment published by the publisher using the comment component as interactive content.
In some embodiments, the electronic device may obtain a set of interactive contents published by the publisher of the target content in a certain period of time (i.e., the first period of time), where the set of interactive contents may be all of the interactive contents published by the publisher in the first period of time. The time period may be set by the publisher of the target content, may be set uniformly by a worker (e.g., a background manager of a book reading application) associated with the application 120, or may be determined by an electronic device (e.g., the server 130) based on the history information.
At block 220, the electronic device determines target interactive content corresponding to the target interface from a set of interactive content based on a correlation of the set of interactive content with the target interface to be provided. In some embodiments, to improve the content sharing experience of the user while improving the efficiency of the user to obtain the content, the electronic device may determine, from a set of interactive content, the interactive content that is strongly related to the target interface to be provided.
In some embodiments, the electronic device may determine interface content associated with the target interface. Taking the target content published by the publisher as an example of a target work, the interface content herein may include a first content portion of the target work (e.g., a first chapter of the target work). The electronic device can determine a relevance of a set of interactive content and the target interface based on the interface content. For example, the electronic device may determine a second content portion of the target work for which the set of interactive content is directed (e.g., a second chapter of the target work). The electronic device can determine a relevance of a set of interactive content and the target interface based on a relationship between the first content portion and the second content portion. For example, in the case where the second chapter is a chapter adjacent to the first chapter (e.g., a chapter within three chapters before and after), the electronic device may determine at least one item of interactive content corresponding to the second chapter from a set of interactive contents as the target interactive content.
In some embodiments, the electronic device may determine target interactive content corresponding to the target interface from a set of interactive content based on a browsing situation of the current user. For example, to better present content to a current user, the electronic device may determine at least one item of interactive content in a set of interactive content that is not being viewed by the current user as a first set of candidate interactive content. The electronic device may determine target interactive content corresponding to the target interface from the first set of candidate interactive content based on a relevance of the first set of candidate interactive content to the target interface.
In some embodiments, the electronic device may further determine a second set of candidate interactive content from the set of interactive content based on a content rating for each of the set of interactive content that is at least indicative of a content quality of the corresponding interactive content. The electronic device may determine target interactive content corresponding to the target interface from the second set of candidate interactive content based on a relevance of the second set of candidate interactive content to the target interface. In some embodiments, the electronic device may determine the quality of each of the interactive content in the set of interactive content based on its corresponding content. For example, the electronic device may determine content having a large number of repeating bytes (e.g., content containing a "haha" field) as interactive content having a lower content quality. It should be appreciated that any suitable quality assessment method may be employed to determine the content quality of the interactive content, and this disclosure is not intended to be limiting. Further, in some embodiments, the electronic device may determine at least one item of interactive content with a higher quality of content according to the content rating indication in the set of interactive contents as a second set of interactive contents, and further determine the target interactive content corresponding to the target interface from the second set of candidate interactive contents.
In some embodiments, the electronic device may further determine a third set of candidate interactive content from the set of interactive content based on a display mode of the set of interactive content, which may indicate whether the interactive content is set-top displayed in the corresponding display region. The electronic device may then determine target interactive content corresponding to the target interface from the third set of candidate interactive content based on the correlation of the third set of candidate interactive content and the target interface. For example, to avoid repeated presentation of the same content, the electronic device may determine whether the interactive content was set-top-displayed based on a display mode corresponding to the interactive content, and determine the interactive content whose display mode indicates that the interactive content was not set-top-displayed as the interactive content in the third set of candidate interactive contents.
In some embodiments, the electronic device may further determine a fourth set of candidate interactive contents from the set of interactive contents based on a preset operation of the publisher with respect to the at least one item of interactive contents. The electronic device may determine target interactive content corresponding to the target interface from the fourth set of candidate interactive content based on a relevance of the fourth set of candidate interactive content to the target interface. The preset operation may be, for example, a touch operation on at least one item of interactive content, where the touch operation includes, but is not limited to, a click operation, a long press operation, a sliding operation, a double click operation, and so on. The preset operation may be, for example, a voice command of the publisher for at least one item of interactive content, and for example, the electronic device may determine the interactive content a as the target interactive content in response to receiving the voice command such as "determine the interactive content a as the target interactive content", "select the interactive content a", and the like.
At block 230, the electronic device provides a target interface that includes a preset area for providing target interactive content. The target interface provided by the electronic device for the user may be an interface of the application 120 or may be a website interface provided by a browser. For ease of discussion, the interface of the application will be described below as an example.
In some embodiments, the electronic device may present the target interface in response to receiving a view request for the target interface. As an example, the electronic device may provide a user interface for displaying the target content, which may include a comment component therein. Terminal device 110 may send a view request for the target interface to server 130 in response to receiving the selection operation for the comment component. The server 130 determines that a view request for the target interface is received and provides the target interface. The selection operation may be, for example, a click operation, a long press operation, a double click operation, or the like.
In some embodiments, the electronic device may provide different target interfaces based on different target content published by the publisher. As an example, the electronic device may provide a section evaluation interface in the case where the target content is the section content of the article content, and may provide a section evaluation interface in the case where the target content is the section content of the article content.
In some embodiments, the target interface provided by the electronic device includes a comment area for presenting comment content for the target content in addition to the preset area for providing target interactive content. To ensure the presentation effect of the content, the electronic device may determine different display priorities for different regions, and highlight the region with higher priority in the target interface. For example, the electronic device may perform operations such as topping, highlighting, adding a border, etc. on the region with higher display priority to make the region with higher display priority be highlighted in the target interface. To highlight the interactive content posted by the publisher, the electronic device may determine a higher display priority for a preset area for providing the target interactive content and a lower display priority for a comment area for presenting comment content for the target content. Thus, the display priority of the preset area in the target interface is higher than that of the comment area, and the preset area can be highlighted in the target interface. For example, the electronic device may determine a higher display priority for the preset area such that the preset area is set to be displayed on top in the target interface. Therefore, the interactive content released by the publisher of the target content can be highlighted, so that the efficiency of acquiring the content by the user is improved, and the interactive experience is improved.
As shown in fig. 3A, the target interface 300A provided by the electronic device includes a preset area 310 for providing the target interactive content (including a preset area 310-1 for providing the comment content posted by the publisher using the comment component, a preset area 310-2 for providing the interactive content posted by the publisher using the author component, a preset area 310-3 for providing the story post posted by the publisher using the story component, a preset area 310-4 for providing the topic post posted by the publisher using the topic component, and a comment area 320 for presenting the comment content for the target content.
In some embodiments, the electronic device can determine a display priority of the at least one landmark interactive content. For example, the electronic device may determine its corresponding display priority based on the release time of the target interactive content. It can be understood that the closer the distribution time is to the current time, the higher the display priority of the distribution content corresponding to the distribution time is. Thus, the electronic device may display the target interactive contents in the preset area 310 sequentially in the order of display priority when displaying the target interactive contents. In some embodiments, after the electronic device obtains the at least one landmark interaction content, a landmark interaction content may also be randomly determined from the at least one landmark interaction content, and a preset area 310 for providing the corresponding target interaction content may be determined.
In some embodiments, to improve the content presentation experience of the user, the electronic device may also avoid presenting the same content in the preset area and the comment area. Specifically, if the target interactive content includes target comment content associated with the target content posted by the posting, the electronic device may control that at least one piece of comment content associated with the target comment content will not be presented in the comment area. For example, in the case where the preset area 310 is the preset area 310-1 for providing the comment content posted by the publisher using the comment component, the electronic device may determine that the target interaction content is the target comment content associated with the target content posted by the publisher, and further, at least one piece of comment content associated with the target comment content is not presented in the comment area 320. The at least one piece of comment content associated with the target comment content may be, for example, comment content of the target comment content posted by the publisher by another user. For example, in the case where the target interactive content presented in the preset area 310 is other interactive content than the target comment content, the electronic device may present at least one comment content associated with the target comment content in the comment area 320.
In fig. 3A, in the event that the current user is not paying attention to the publisher, a preset area 310 in a target interface 300A provided by the electronic device may also display an attention component 312 for paying attention to the publisher. It is to be appreciated that the preset area 310 presents the attention component 312 only to users who are not interested in the publisher.
Referring back to fig. 2. In some embodiments, the electronic device may also provide an editing portal for editing the target interactive content in the preset area in the case where the target interface is provided in response to the publisher's view request. The electronic device can correspondingly edit the target interactive content in response to receiving the selection operation of the editing entrance. For example, the electronic device may switch the target interactive content to the editing mode in response to receiving a selection operation of the editing portal. The electronic device can further respond to the editing operation of the publisher on the target interactive content in the editing mode to execute the operations of editing, modifying, deleting, setting the top and the like on the target interactive content. It is understood that in the case where the comment interface is presented in response to a view request by a user other than the publisher, the electronic device does not provide an editing portal for editing the target interactive content in the preset area.
In some embodiments, the electronic device may further receive an operation of the user on the preset area at the target interface, and change the displayed target interface in response to the operation. In some embodiments, the electronic device may receive a first operation for a preset area and, in response to the first operation, stop providing the preset area at the target interface. As an example, a hidden component may be included in a preset area of a target interface provided by the electronic device, and the first operation may be a selection operation for the hidden component. The electronic device may stop providing the preset area at the target interface in response to receiving a selection operation of the hidden component included in the preset area.
In some embodiments, if the first operation for the preset area is received multiple times within a certain period of time, the electronic device may determine that the current user wishes to be able to hide the preset area. To enhance the content presentation experience of the user, the electronic device may count the number of first operations received while presenting the target interface (which may also be referred to as a first comment interface including a preset area and a comment area), and present another target interface (i.e., a second comment interface) that does not include the preset area in response to the number of first operations received over a period of time being greater than a threshold number. Specifically, the electronic device may receive a view request to view a target interface at a first time and present a second comment interface for the target content in response to a number of first operations received within a certain time period (i.e., a second time period) prior to the first time period being greater than a threshold number. Similar to the first time period, the second time period may be set by the current user, may be set uniformly by a worker (e.g., a background manager of a book reading application) associated with the application 120 presenting the comment interface, or may be determined by the electronic device based on the history information. The second comment interface may be a target interface including only the comment area, or may be a target interface including other areas as well.
As shown in fig. 3A and 3B, a stopping component 311 is displayed in a preset area 310 of a target interface 300A provided by the electronic device. The electronic device may stop providing the preset area 310 at the target interface 300A or provide the target interface 300B excluding the preset area in response to receiving the selection operation for the stop component 311. Only comment area 320 may be included in target interface 300B.
Referring back to fig. 2. Since the display device (for example, a display screen) is limited, that is, the size of the target interface provided by the electronic device that can be displayed is limited, there is a case in which the length of the target interactive content is long, resulting in that the preset area cannot display it completely. In some embodiments, to ensure a content presentation experience of the user, the electronic device may determine a threshold value of a length of the target interactive content that can be displayed in the preset area in advance, and provide only a portion of the target interactive content having a predetermined length in the preset area if the length of the target interactive content is greater than the threshold value, where the predetermined length may be a length corresponding to the threshold value.
Further, in the case where only a portion of the target interactive content having a predetermined length is presented in the preset area, the electronic device may receive a second operation for the preset area and display the entire content of the target interactive content in the target interface in response to the second operation. In some embodiments, the second operation may be a selection operation for the target interactive content displayed in the preset area. The electronic device may display the entire content of the target interactive content in the target interface in response to receiving a second operation for the target interactive content displayed in the preset area. In some embodiments, all presentation components may be included in a preset area of the target interface displayed by the electronic device, and the second operation may be a selection operation for the all presentation components. The electronic device may display the entire content of the target interactive content in the target interface in response to receiving a selection operation of all presentation components included in the preset area.
As shown in fig. 3A and 3C, a portion of the content 315 and the entire presentation component 316 of the target interactive content are displayed in the preset area 310 of the target interface 300A provided by the electronic device.
