(1) The first reinforcing member 5 and the optical unit are separated by the spacing armour 2, and when the optical cable is subjected to external force, the spacing armour 2 can prevent the first reinforcing member 5 from extruding the optical unit, so as to ensure the operation of the optical fiber 4 in the optical unit.
(2) When the optical cable is internally provided with the interval armor 2, each of the upper opening accommodating groove 22 and the lower opening accommodating groove 24 of the interval armor 2 is non-closed, so that the light unit and the first reinforcing member 5 inside the optical cable can be conveniently taken out during construction.
(3) The spacing armor 2 is provided with at least three left and right spacing plates 21, so that the pressure of the optical cable is more uniform when the optical cable is stressed by the upper side and the lower side, and the compression resistance of the optical cable is improved.
(4) An upper partition plate 23 is arranged beside the upper opening accommodating groove 22, and a lower partition plate 25 is arranged beside the lower opening accommodating groove 24, so that the partition armor 2 provides a larger stress surface when the optical cable is stressed by the upper side and the lower side, and the compression resistance of the optical cable is further improved.
(5) The number of first strength members 5 in the cable and which of the upper and lower open receiving grooves 22, 24 the first strength members 5 are located in can be adjusted according to the number of cores in the cable, the number of upper and lower open receiving grooves 22, 24, the tensile and compressive strength required to be achieved by the cable, etc., and the positions of the first strength members 5 can be adjusted after laying.
(6) The spacing armor 2 enables the optical cable to have certain elasticity on the left side and the right side, and improves the impact resistance of the left side and the right side of the optical cable.
(7) When two interval armors 2 are provided, a plurality of closed cavities can be formed by the two interval armors 2, so that the light units in the closed cavities are better protected.
(8) The optical cable has simple structure and lower cost.
