According to the second terminal provided by the embodiment of the invention, after receiving the target indication information sent by the network side and aiming at the first terminal, the first notification is sent to the network side based on the target indication information and the first terminal state so as to indicate the arrival of data aiming at the first terminal or the first terminal state, so that the network side can send the data arrival notification aiming at the first terminal based on the first notification sent by the second terminal, thereby realizing the arrival of notification data aiming at equipment behind a gateway and improving the control and transmission efficiency.

the first notification is used for indicating data arrival or the first terminal state; the first terminal state is any one of the following: the first terminal is not connected to the second terminal; the first terminal is connected to the second terminal.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the sending the first notification to the network side based on the target indication information and a first terminal state comprises:
And in the case that the first terminal state is that the first terminal is not connected to the second terminal, the second terminal sends the first notification to the network side based on the target indication information.
