Description

Product with zipper and manufacturing method of product with zipper
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a product with a slide fastener and a method for manufacturing the product with the slide fastener.
Background
For example, international publication No. 2017/094145 (document 1) describes a slide fastener having water stopping properties. Briefly described, the slide fastener described in document 1 includes: a pair of right and left fastener stringers formed with fastener element rows; and a slider slidably attached to the left and right element rows.
Each of the left and right fastener stringers includes: a fastener tape (tape member); and a plurality of fastener elements provided on a tape side edge portion of the fastener tape. The fastener tape includes: a belt body which is narrow and has waterproof and moisture permeability; and a core rope portion provided on a tape side edge portion of the tape body, the fastener tape having a property of suppressing penetration of a liquid from a tape surface side of the fastener tape to a tape back surface side.
Disclosure of Invention
In the case of attaching the slide fastener described in the above-mentioned document 1 to a product such as clothing or a bag, for example, in a state where a fastener tape of a fastener stringer is overlapped with a fastener attaching member (for example, cloth of clothing) of the product, the fastener tape and the fastener attaching member are sewn by a sewing machine.
In conventional sewing, a fastener tape and a fastener attachment edge portion are generally sewn together by introducing a fastener attachment portion of a fastener attached member and a fastener tape into a space between a needle plate of a sewing machine and a sewing machine presser foot in a state of overlapping each other. In this case, if considering the positional relationship between the sewing machine presser and the fastener element of the fastener stringer and the sewing machine needle at the time of sewing, it is necessary to reciprocate the sewing machine needle of the sewing machine up and down in the tape width direction at a position apart from the fastener element of the fastener tape to pierce the fastener tape. As a result, since the sewn portion of the seam line for sewing the fastener tape and the fastener element to be attached is formed at a position apart from the fastener element in the tape width direction, the fastener tape is disposed so as to be exposed to the outside between the fastener element and the fastener element to be attached.
In this way, when the fastener tape is exposed between the fastener elements and the fastener-attached member, in order to provide the product with the fastener with water repellency or water blocking property, it is necessary that the fastener tape also has water repellency or water blocking property such as water-proof moisture permeability as described in the above-mentioned document 1, in addition to the water repellency or water blocking property of the cloth of the fastener-attached member as the product. However, since a special device or material is required to impart water repellency or water blocking property to the fastener tape, there are problems such as an increase in manufacturing cost and a complicated manufacturing relationship.
In addition, in products to which a slide fastener is attached, the slide fastener is sometimes regarded as one of the elements of the product design. For this reason, there is a need for a fastener tape in which the fastener is not visible or is difficult to see in order to improve the design and appearance quality of a product with the fastener.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to provide a product with a slide fastener and a method for manufacturing the product with a slide fastener, which can prevent or suppress exposure of a fastener tape between fastener elements and a fastener element to be attached.
To achieve the above object, a zippered product of the present invention comprises: a fastener stringer in which a plurality of fastener elements are provided at regular intervals; and a fastener attached member in which a pair of fastener tape attaching edges to which the pair of fastener stringers are attached are arranged at positions facing each other, wherein in the fastener-attached product, the fastener stringers are attached to the fastener tape attaching edges by a sewn portion formed of a thread including an upper thread and a lower thread, the sewn portion includes a plurality of interweaved portions that penetrate the fastener tape attaching edges and the fastener tape and are formed by intersecting the upper thread and the lower thread, the fastener stringers have an alternating range in a longitudinal direction of the fastener stringers, the alternating range being a gap region defined by a maximum interval on the fastener tape between the fastener stringers adjacent in the longitudinal direction, and a element region provided with the fastener elements and formed between the gap regions are alternately arranged, and the interweaved portions are provided only in the gap region in the alternating range.
In the product with a slide fastener according to the present invention, the sewn portion is preferably formed in a straight line or substantially straight line along the longitudinal direction of the fastener stringer.
In addition, the sewn portion is preferably in contact with at least a part of the fastener element in the element region.
Further, it is preferable that the fastener element includes: a 1 st element portion fixed to a 1 st tape surface of the fastener tape; and a 2 nd element portion fixed to a 2 nd tape surface of the fastener tape, the 1 st element portion and the 2 nd element portion each including at least: a main body portion fixed to the fastener tape; and a fin portion extending from the trunk portion toward an outside in a tape width direction, and having a size in a tape front-back direction smaller than that of the trunk portion.
In the present invention, it is preferable that the fastener tape attaching edge portion includes: a bending part which is bent into a U shape in a manner that the zipper belt mounting edge part wraps a part of the sewing part inside; and a 1 st side edge portion and a 2 nd side edge portion extending from the bending portion along the fastener tape, the bending portion being fixed by the sewn portion at a position contacting the fastener element.
Next, a method of manufacturing a product with a slide fastener according to the present invention is a method of manufacturing a product with a slide fastener in which fastener tapes each having a plurality of fastener elements provided at predetermined intervals are sewn to a pair of fastener tape attaching edges provided at positions of a fastener-attached member, the pair of fastener tape attaching edges being opposed to each other, by using a sewing machine, the method including:
a step of forming a sewn portion including a plurality of interwoven portions formed by crossing an upper thread and a lower thread, the sewn portion penetrating through the fastener tape attaching edge portion and the fastener tape, by using a thread of the sewing machine including the upper thread and the lower thread in the sewing process; and
when forming the sewn portion, providing the interweaving portion only in a gap region defined by a maximum interval between the fastener elements on the fastener tape adjacent in the longitudinal direction and in an alternating range in which the fastener element regions formed between the gap regions are alternately arranged between the fastener elements on the fastener tape in the longitudinal direction; and
And sewing the fastener stringer to the fastener stringer attachment edge portion by the formed sewn portion.
In the manufacturing method of the present invention, it is preferable that the sewing process includes a step of forming the sewn portion in a straight line or substantially straight line along the longitudinal direction of the fastener stringer.
In the manufacturing method of the present invention, it is preferable that the method further include a step of forming the sewn portion so as to contact at least a part of the fastener element in the element region.
The production method of the present invention preferably includes: a step of conveying the fastener stringer together with the fastener-attached member by engaging and rotating the conveying gear provided in the sewing machine with the fastener elements of the fastener stringer during the sewing process; and a step of sewing the fastener stringer and the fastener stringer attachment edge portion by lifting and lowering the sewing needle of the sewing machine in accordance with the rotation of the conveying gear.
In addition, the production method of the present invention preferably includes: after the fastener stringer is sewn to the fastener tape attaching edge portion by the sewn portion, the fastener tape attaching edge portion is bent into a U-shape at a position where the sewn portion is formed so as to wrap a part of the sewn portion inside.
Effects of the invention
According to the present invention, there is provided a product with a slide fastener capable of preventing or suppressing exposure of a fastener tape between fastener elements and a fastener-attached member.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings by way of examples. The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described below, and various modifications can be made as long as the present invention has substantially the same structure and functions and effects as those of the present invention.
For example, in the following examples, fastener elements are provided to fastener tapes in a shape independent of each other by injection molding of synthetic resin, thereby forming a fastener and a fastener element tape. However, in the present invention, instead of the fastener element made of synthetic resin, a plurality of fastener elements made of metal, which are formed in a shape independent of each other, may be provided in the fastener tape to form the fastener and the fastener stringer.
Examples
Fig. 1 is a plan view schematically showing a zippered product according to this embodiment. Fig. 2, 3 and 4 are perspective, top and bottom views schematically showing an enlarged portion of a zipped product. Fig. 5 is a sectional view at a line V-V shown in fig. 3.
In the following description of the slide fastener and the product with the slide fastener, the front-rear direction refers to the direction along the longitudinal direction of the slide fastener tape, and is the same direction as the sliding direction in which the slider slides (see fig. 3 and 4). In particular, the direction in which the slider is slid when the slide fastener is closed is set to the front, and the direction in which the slider is slid when the slide fastener is opened is set to the rear. The front-rear direction corresponds to the "longitudinal direction of the fastener stringer" described in the claims.
The right-left direction refers to a tape width direction along a width direction of the fastener tape, specifically, a direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction and parallel to the tape front surface and the tape back surface of the fastener tape. The right-left direction may also be a direction along a direction in which element rows of the pair of fastener stringers are engaged with and disengaged from each other. In this case, the direction in which the pair of element rows move closer to each other is set as the inner direction in the left-right direction, and the direction in which the pair of element rows move away from each other is set as the outer direction in the left-right direction (see fig. 3 to 5). The left-right direction corresponds to the "tape width direction" described in the claims.
The vertical direction is a direction along the tape front-back direction of the fastener tape, and is a direction orthogonal to the front-back direction and the left-right direction (see fig. 5). In particular, the direction in which the slide fastener is exposed to the outside when the slide fastener is used (for example, the direction in which the pull tab of the slider is arranged on the fastener tape) is set to be upper, and the direction on the opposite side thereof is set to be lower. The vertical direction corresponds to the "tape front-back direction" described in the claims.
The product 1 with the slide fastener 10 according to the present embodiment is, for example, a garment (clothing), and the slide fastener 10 is attached to a front opening of a front body of the garment, an opening/closing portion (opening peripheral edge portion) of a bag portion provided in a chest portion and an abdomen portion of the front body, or the like. In this case, the slide fastener attached member 2 to which the slide fastener 10 is attached is the cloth 2 of the garment 1 (also referred to as a garment cloth). The left and right cloths 2 forming the front body of the garment 1 have opposite side edges arranged to face the cloth 2 on the opposite side, and the opposite side edges of the left and right cloths 2 serve as fastener tape attaching edges 3 to which fastener stringers 11 of the slide fastener 10 are attached.
In the present embodiment, the left and right cloths 2 having the fastener tape attaching edge portions 3 have water repellency or water stopping property. Here, the water repellency means a property of preventing water from passing through or penetrating the cloth 2, and the water stopping property means a property of inhibiting water from passing through or penetrating the cloth 2. In the present embodiment, the method and mode for imparting water repellency or water blocking property to the cloth 2 are not particularly limited. The cloth 2 may be formed without having water repellency or water-blocking property.
As shown in fig. 5, each fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 provided on the left and right cloth 2 is formed by folding back the cloth 2 at a folded portion 3b along the front-rear direction. Specifically, the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 includes: a 1 st side edge 3a extending from a cloth body part not shown toward the inside in the width direction; a bending portion 3b extending from the 1 st side edge portion 3a and bent into a U shape; and a 2 nd side edge portion 3c extending from the bent portion 3b to overlap the 1 st side edge portion 3 a. In this case, the 2 nd side edge portion 3c of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 is disposed so as to be in contact with the fastener tape 12 of the fastener tape 11, and the 1 st side edge portion 3a is disposed on the 2 nd side edge portion 3c so as to be apart from the fastener tape 12.
The bending portion 3b of the fastener stringer attachment edge portion 3 is formed by bending the cloth 2 at a position of a sewing portion 5, and the sewing portion 5 sews the fastener stringer 11 to the fastener stringer attachment edge portion 3 of the cloth 2. Inside the bent portion 3b, a part of the sewn portion 5 is held so as to be wrapped. The bent portion 3b is fixed by the sewn portion 5 at a position where it contacts a 2 nd fin portion 16b of the fastener element 14, which will be described later.
The sewing portion 5 for sewing the fastener stringer attachment edge portion 3 and the fastener element chain 11 as described above is provided in a straight line along the front-rear direction of the fastener tape 12 by the sewing process of the butt seam by the sewing machine 50 (see fig. 3 and 4). The sewn portion where the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 and the fastener tape 11 are sewn may be formed of a sewn portion 5 having a substantially straight shape including a linear portion along the front-rear direction of the fastener tape 12 and a portion slightly bent or curved inward in the left-right direction as described later (see fig. 10).
The sewn portion 5 of the present embodiment is formed of a stitch including an upper thread (needle thread) 5a and a lower thread (ground thread) 5b of the sewing machine 50. The sewn portion 5 includes a plurality of interwoven portions 6. Each of the interweaving portions 6 penetrates the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 and the fastener tape 12 of the cloth 2 and is formed by upper threads 5a and lower threads 5b of the stitches so as to intersect. In the present embodiment, the interweaving portions 6 of the sewn portion 5 are provided at regular intervals in the front-rear direction.
The slide fastener 10 of the present embodiment is attached to the fastener tape attaching edge portions 3 of the left and right cloths 2 of the garment 1 through the sewn portions 5 formed of the stitches (see fig. 3 to 5). The slide fastener 10 includes: a pair of right and left fastener stringers 11 having fastener element rows 13 formed on tape side edges of a fastener tape 12; and a slider 40 slidably attached to the left and right element rows 13.
In this embodiment, the slider 40 is formed substantially in the same manner as the slider described in the aforementioned international publication No. 2017/094145 (document 1). Here, the slider 40 will be briefly described, and the slider 40 includes: a slider body 41 for engaging and disengaging the left and right element rows 13; and a pull tab 45 attached to the slider body 41. The slider body 41 includes: an upper wing plate 42; a lower blade disposed parallel to the upper blade 42; a connecting column connecting the front ends of the upper wing plate 42 and the lower wing plate; left and right upper flange portions extending from left and right side edge portions of the upper wing plate 42 toward the lower wing plate; left and right lower flange portions extending from left and right side edge portions of the lower wing plate toward the upper wing plate 42; and a tab attachment portion 43 integrally formed with an upper surface of the upper wing plate 42 for attaching the tab 45.
The slider body 41 has left and right shoulder openings provided at its distal end portion so as to sandwich the coupling post. A rear opening is provided at the rear end of the slider body 41. A substantially Y-shaped element guide path communicating with the left and right shoulder openings and the rear opening is provided between the upper wing plate 42 and the lower wing plate of the slider main body 41. An insertion gap through which the 1 st fin portion 15b and the 2 nd fin portion 16b of the fastener element 14 are inserted is provided between the upper flange portion and the lower flange portion of the slider body 41. The penetration gap communicates with the element guide path.
In the slide fastener 10 of the present embodiment, each of the right and left fastener stringers 11 includes: a fastener tape 12 having a long and narrow shape; and a plurality of fastener elements 14 made of synthetic resin provided on tape side edges of the fastener tape 12 facing in the opposite direction.
Each fastener tape 12 includes: a belt main body 12a having a belt front surface and a belt back surface; and a core rope portion 12b provided at the inner side edge of the belt main body portion 12 a. The core rope portion 12b is integrally provided at a side edge of the belt main body portion 12a along the belt longitudinal direction. The core rope portion 12b is formed so as to bulge upward and downward with respect to the belt main body portion 12 a.
The fastener tape 12 of the present embodiment is formed so as not to provide a waterproof layer for preventing or suppressing the intrusion of water, and so as not to have waterproof and water-stopping properties. In the present invention, the structure and properties of the fastener tape and the method of forming the fastener tape are not particularly limited, and the fastener tape may have water-repellent properties or water-stopping properties. For example, in the present embodiment, water repellency, or water repellency may be imparted to, for example, the core string portion 12b of the fastener tape 12, or only a part of the fastener tape 12 as the core string portion 12b and its adjacent parts.
A plurality of synthetic resin fastener elements 14 are provided at predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction at the tape side edge portion of the fastener tape 12, thereby forming fastener element rows 13. Each fastener element 14 is formed by injection molding synthetic resin to the fastener tape 12. Each fastener element 14 is independent from other fastener elements 14 adjacent in the front-rear direction without being connected to the other fastener elements 14, and is separated from the other fastener elements 14.
Each fastener element 14 includes: a 1 st fastener element 15 disposed on the back side of the fastener tape 12; and a 2 nd element portion 16 having a shape different from that of the 1 st element portion 15, the 2 nd element portion being disposed on the tape surface side of the fastener tape 12. In this case, the 1 st element portion 15 of the fastener element 14 is a portion hidden on the back side of the garment 1 in the garment 1 with the fastener 10. The 2 nd element portion 16 is a portion exposed to the outside of the garment 1.
As shown in fig. 4, the 1 st element portion 15 includes: a 1 st main portion 15a directly fixed to the fastener tape 12; a 1 st fin 15b extending from the 1 st main portion 15a to the outside in the lateral direction; a neck portion 15c extending inward in the left-right direction from the 1 st trunk portion 15 a; and an engagement head 15d extending further from the neck portion 15c toward the inside in the left-right direction and having a substantially oblong shape in a bottom view of the fastener element 14.
The 1 st main portion 15a has a substantially isosceles trapezoid shape in a bottom view (fig. 4) of the fastener element 14. The neck portion 15c has a tapered shape so as to be engageable with the engagement head portions 15d of the 2 fastener elements 14 as the engagement counterpart.
The 1 st fin portion 15b extends outward in the left-right direction from the 1 st main portion 15a, and is formed to have a smaller height dimension than the 1 st main portion 15a via the 1 st step portion 15 e. The height dimensions of the 1 st main portion 15a and the 1 st fin portion 15b refer to the dimension in the up-down direction from the tape back surface of the fastener tape 12 to the lower surface of the 1 st main portion 15a or the lower surface of the 1 st fin portion 15 b.
In each fastener element 14, the outer side end surface of the 1 st fin portion 15b facing the outer side in the width direction preferably contacts the linear sewn portion 5. That is, the lower thread 5b of the sewn portion 5 is preferably disposed on the outer side in the left-right direction than the 1 st fin portion 15b of the fastener element 14. Further, the interwoven portion 6 of the sewn portion 5 is preferably disposed on the outer side in the left-right direction than the position of the 1 st fin portion 15b in the left-right direction. This can prevent the sewn portion 5 (lower line 5 b) from overlapping the 1 st fin portion 15b in the up-down direction. As a result, when sliding the slider 40, the contact between the sewn portion 5 (lower line 5 b) and the slider 40 can be reduced as compared with, for example, a case where the sewn portion 5 (lower line 5 b) is placed on the lower surface of the 1 st fin portion 15b, and therefore, abrasion of the sewn portion 5 (lower line 5 b) due to contact with the slider 40 can be suppressed. In addition, the product 1 can be made more beautiful.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the 2 nd element portion 16 includes: a 2 nd main portion 16a directly fixed to the fastener tape 12; a 2 nd fin 16b extending from the 2 nd main portion 16a to the outside in the left-right direction; and a fastener element head portion 16c extending from the 2 nd main portion 16a toward the inside in the left-right direction. The element head 16c has a shape in which the dimension in the tape length direction gradually decreases in two stages toward the tip end portion of the element head 16 c.
The 2 nd fin portion 16b extends outward in the left-right direction from the 2 nd trunk portion 16a, and is formed to be smaller in height dimension from the fastener tape 12 than the 2 nd trunk portion 16a via the 2 nd step portion 16 d. The lateral end surface of the 2 nd fin portion 16b facing the outer side in the width direction and the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 of the cloth 2 are in contact with each other. The 2 nd fin portion 16b of the fastener element 14 is held in contact with the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 of the cloth 2 by the sewn portion 5 formed linearly in the front-rear direction.
In this way, the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 of the cloth 2 is sewn to the fastener tape 12 by the sewn portion 5 in a state of being in contact with the 2 nd fin portion 16b of the fastener element 14, whereby a portion of the fastener tape 12 from which a part (specifically, a portion of the fastener tape 12 disposed between the fastener elements 14 in the front-rear direction) is removed can be covered by the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 of the cloth 2, and thus the fastener tape 12 can be prevented from being exposed in a range between the fastener elements 14 in the left-right direction and the fastener attached member 2.
In the fastener element 14 of the present embodiment, the 1 st fin portion 15b and the 2 nd fin portion 16b have shapes that are symmetrical to each other in the up-down direction with respect to the fastener tape 12. The 1 st fin 15b and the 2 nd fin 16b are formed to have a thickness capable of being inserted into the tape insertion gap of the slider 40. The 1 st step portion 15e and the 2 nd step portion 16d of the fastener element 14 are formed so as to be in contact with and slide-contact with the upper flange portion and the lower flange portion of the slider 40, respectively.
By providing the 1 st fin portion 15b and the 2 nd fin portion 16b to the fastener element 14, even if the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 of the cloth 2 is held in contact with the 2 nd fin portion 16b of the fastener element 14 as described above, the contact between the upper flange portion and the lower flange portion of the slider 40 and the left and right cloth 2 can be prevented or suppressed when the slider 40 slides along the left and right fastener element rows 13. Therefore, the slider 40 can be smoothly slid regardless of the thickness of the cloth 2.
In addition, since each fastener element 14 has the 1 st element portion 15 and the 2 nd element portion 16 as described above, it is possible to make it difficult for water to enter from the upper surface side to the lower surface side of the left and right element rows 13 in a state where the left and right element rows 13 are engaged. In this case, for example, since each fastener element 14 has water repellency, it is possible to make it more difficult for water to enter.
Here, as shown by imaginary lines in fig. 3 and 4, for example, the fastener stringer 11 of the present embodiment defines a front-rear direction region defined by the maximum interval on the fastener tape 12 between 2 fastener elements 14 adjacent in the front-rear direction as a gap region 22. In addition, a region in which the fastener element 14 is provided and which is formed between the 2 gap regions 22 is defined as a element region 21. More specifically, in fig. 4, the gap region 22 is a region in the front-rear direction between the upper ends of the 1 st fin portion 15b and the 2 nd fin portion 16b of the lower fastener element 14 and the lower ends of the 1 st fin portion 15b and the 2 nd fin portion 16b of the upper fastener element 14. The element region 21 is a region formed by being sandwiched between 2 gap regions 22 adjacent in the front-rear direction. In the case of the present embodiment, the element region 21 may be expressed as a region in which the outer side end surfaces of the 1 st fin portion 15b and the 2 nd fin portion 16b are provided in each fastener element 14. The gap region 22 and the element region 21 extend over the entire fastener stringer 11 in the lateral direction.
The fastener stringer 11 of the present embodiment has the above-described alternating ranges in which the gap regions 22 and the element regions 21 are alternately arranged in the front-rear direction. In this alternating range, the interweaving portions 6 (portions where the upper thread 5a and the lower thread 5b intersect) of the sewn portion 5 formed by stitches are provided only in the gap region 22, but not in the element region 21. By forming the sewn portion 5 by disposing the interweaving portion 6 only in the gap region 22 in this manner, the sewn portion 5 can be formed linearly or substantially linearly along the front-rear direction as described above, and can be brought into contact with the 1 st fin portion 15b of the fastener element 14 in the element region 21. In this way, the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 of the cloth 2 can be sewn to the fastener tape 12 at a position contacting the 2 nd fin portion 16b of the fastener element 14 by the sewing portion 5 having a linear or substantially linear shape on the upper surface side of the fastener tape 12.
Next, a sewing method of sewing the fastener stringer 11 of the slide fastener 10 to the fastener stringer attachment edge portion 3 of the cloth 2 by using the sewing machine 50 will be described.
In the following description of the sewing machine 50 and the sewing method, the front-rear direction is the conveying direction of the sewing machine 50, and is the direction along the direction in which the fastener stringers 11 and the cloth 2 as objects to be sewn are conveyed. In this case, the direction in which the sewing object is conveyed is set to the front and the direction on the opposite side is set to the rear. The up-down direction is a direction along the direction in which the sewing needle 54 reciprocates. In this case, the direction in which the sewing needle 54 penetrates the object to be sewn is set to be lower, and the direction in which the sewing needle 54 is extracted from the object to be sewn is set to be upper. The left-right direction is a direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the sewing object and orthogonal to the direction in which the sewing machine needle 54 reciprocates, and can also be referred to as the width direction of the sewing machine 50. In this case, the inner side in the width direction of the sewing machine 50 is a direction approaching a post portion of the sewing machine 50, which will be described later, with respect to the sewing needle 54 of the sewing machine 50, and the outer side in the width direction of the sewing machine 50 is a direction separating from the post portion.
As shown in fig. 6 and 7, the sewing machine 50 used in the sewing method includes: a base portion 51 on which a sewing object is placed; a column portion, not shown, rising from the base portion 51; and an arm portion, not shown, extending from an upper end portion of the pillar portion in the left-right direction. In addition, the sewing machine 50 includes: a needle plate portion 52 provided in the base portion 51; a needle bar 53 supported by an arm portion, not shown, so as to be capable of reciprocating in the up-down direction; and a sewing machine needle 54 held by the needle bar 53. The sewing machine 50 further includes: a presser lever 55 provided on an arm portion not shown; a sewing machine presser foot 56 mounted to the presser bar 55; a conveying gear 57 that conveys the fastener stringers 11; and a shuttle portion, not shown, provided below the needle plate portion 52.
The needle plate portion 52 includes: a base portion 52a having a flat surface; and a guide groove 52b provided concavely with respect to the flat surface of the base 52 a. The guide groove 52b is continuously formed in the front-rear direction so as to be capable of inserting and guiding the element rows 13 of the fastener stringer 11. The guide groove 52b includes: a groove bottom surface disposed parallel to the base portion 52 a; and left and right side wall surfaces rising from left and right side edge portions of the groove bottom surface.
The bottom surface of the guide groove 52b is provided with: a needle hole 52c for inserting a sewing needle 54; and a gear opening 52d through which a part of the conveying gear 57 is inserted. The gear opening 52d is disposed in a passage through which the element row 13 of the fastener stringer 11 passes through the guide groove 52 b. The sewing machine needle 54 is held so as to be capable of reciprocating in the up-down direction together with the needle bar 53.
The conveying gear 57 is formed of a spur gear provided with a plurality of teeth on an outer peripheral portion. The pitch of the teeth of the conveying gear 57 is set to be the same as or slightly larger than the formation pitch of the fastener elements 14 forming the element rows 13 in the front-rear direction. Here, the pitch of the teeth refers to a value obtained by dividing the pitch circle of the conveying gear 57 by the number of teeth. The tooth profile of the conveying gear 57 is at a height (tooth height) at which the teeth can mesh with the fastener element 14.
The conveying gear 57 is disposed along the front-rear direction of the sewing machine 50, and is held by a gear holding portion, not shown, at a position below the rotation axis of the conveying gear 57 with respect to the needle plate portion 52. The conveyance gear 57 is rotated by a rotation driving unit, not shown, having a servo motor or a stepping motor. The conveying gear 57 is disposed at a position where at least 1 tooth of the conveying gear 57 always protrudes into the guide groove 52b through the gear opening 52d provided in the guide groove 52 b.
The shuttle part of the sewing machine 50, which is not shown, is formed substantially in the same way as the shuttle part used in the conventional general sewing machine. Specifically, the shuttle portion includes: a spool around which the lower wire 5b is wound; a spool box for accommodating a spool; and an outer shuttle rotatably disposed and having a peak.
When the sewing process for sewing the fastener stringers 11 to the cloth 2 is performed using the sewing machine 50 described above, first, the element rows 13 of the fastener stringers 11 are guided into the guide groove portions 52b of the needle plate portion 52, and the fastener tape 12 is placed on the base portion 52a of the needle plate portion 52. At this time, the element row 13 is engaged with the teeth of the conveying gear 57 protruding from the lower side of the needle plate portion 52 toward the guide groove portion 52 b. Then, the cloth 2 is placed on the needle plate portion 52 in a position aligned with the fastener stringers 11 so that the cloth 2 covers the fastener stringers 11 from above. Then, by lowering the sewing machine presser 56, as shown in fig. 8, the fastener stringers 11 and the cloth 2 are held so as to be sandwiched between the sewing machine presser 56 and the needle plate portion 52.
Then, the sewing machine 50 is operated, and the conveying gear 57 is rotated to convey the fastener stringer 11, and the sewing machine needle 54 is lifted and lowered in the up-down direction. At this time, the cloth 2 is conveyed together with the fastener stringers 11. While the fastener stringer 11 and the cloth 2 are being conveyed, the sewing machine needle 54 pierces the cloth 2 and the fastener tape 12 to perform butt-sewing, whereby a sewing portion 5 which is linear or substantially linear in the front-rear direction is formed by the upper thread 5a and the lower thread 5b, and the cloth 2 and the fastener tape 12 are sewn by the sewing portion 5.
Here, a position (needle-falling position) where the sewing needle 54 is caused to pierce the cloth 2 and the fastener tape 12 will be described. In the present embodiment, the sewing machine needle 54 is caused to pierce the cloth 2 and the fastener tape 12 at positions within the gap region 22 in the front-rear direction with respect to the fastener stringer 11 in which the fastener element region 21 and the gap region 22 are alternately formed. In this case, it is preferable that the needle falling position of the sewing machine needle 54 is a central portion between 2 fastener elements 14 adjacent in the front-rear direction. The needle-falling position is not limited to the central portion between the fastener elements 14, and may be set to a position close to one of the 2 fastener elements 14 as long as it is within the gap region 22. The needle drop position may be 1 or more in each gap region 22. In the present embodiment, the needle-falling position at which the sewing needle 54 is made to pierce the cloth 2 and the fastener tape 12 is set to a position outside the 1 st fin portion 15b and the 2 nd fin portion 16b of the fastener element 14 in the left-right direction. By piercing the cloth 2 and the fastener tape 12 at specific positions in the front-rear direction and the left-right direction with the sewing machine needle 54 in this manner, the sewn portion 5 can be formed in a straight line or substantially straight line, and the sewn portion 5 can be brought into contact with the outer side end surface of the 1 st fin portion 15b of the fastener element 14 in each element region 21.
In this case, in the sewing machine 50 of the present embodiment, the conveying gear 57 is rotated while being always engaged with the fastener stringer 11, so that the fastener stringer 11 can be stably conveyed while precisely controlling the position of the fastener stringer 11 by the conveying gear 57. As a result, the pitch of the fastener elements 14 can be suppressed from being shifted with respect to the vertical movement of the sewing machine needle 54. Further, since the up-and-down movement of the sewing needle 54 and the rotation of the conveying gear 57 can be controlled to match each other, the position where the sewing needle 54 pierces the fastener tape 12 can be easily adjusted to the inside of the gap region 22 of the fastener stringer 11.
By performing the sewing process as described above, the fastener tape 12 of the fastener stringer 11 and the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 of the cloth 2 can be sewn together by forming the sewn portion 5 in which the sewn portion 6 is provided only in the gap region 22 of the fastener tape 11.
After the sewing process is completed, a bending step of bending the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 at a position where the sewing portion 5 is formed is performed.
In this bending step, the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 of the cloth 2 is bent along the sewn portion 5 formed in a straight line or substantially straight line so that the 1 st side edge portion 3a and the 2 nd side edge portion 3c of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 vertically overlap. As a result, the cloth 2 to which the fastener stringers 11 are sewn as shown in fig. 2 to 5 is produced. At this time, the sewn portion 5 is hidden from view by the fastener stringer attachment edge portion 3 on the upper surface side of the fastener tape 12. Further, a part of the upper thread 5a of the sewn portion 5 is held so as to be wrapped around the inner peripheral side of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3.
Then, the cloth 2 with the fastener stringers 11 sewn thereto is combined in groups of 2, and the slider 40 is attached to the element row 13 of the fastener stringers 11 of one group, thereby manufacturing the cloth 2 with the fastener 10. By using the cloth 2 with the slide fastener 10 to make the garment 1, the garment 1 with the slide fastener 10 shown in fig. 1 is manufactured.
In the present embodiment, for example, after the garment 1 is made of 2 pieces of cloth 2 sewn with fastener stringers 11, the slider 40 may be attached to 2 fastener rows 13 provided in the garment 1, whereby the garment 1 with the fastener 10 may be manufactured.
In the garment 1 with the slide fastener 10 of the present embodiment manufactured as described above, the sewn portion 5 where the fastener stringers 11 and the cloth 2 are sewn is formed such that the interwoven portion 6 of the sewn portion 5 is arranged in the gap region 22 of each of the left and right fastener stringers 11. Thus, the sewn portion 5 formed linearly or substantially linearly in the front-rear direction can be brought into stable contact with the 1 st fin portion 15b of the fastener element 14 on the back surface side of the garment 1 (see fig. 4 or 10). In addition, as shown in fig. 3, for example, the position of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 of the cloth 2 is fixed by the sewn portion 5 on the front surface side of the garment 1, and the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 can be stably maintained in contact with the 2 nd fin portion 16b of the fastener element 14. As a result, the fastener tape 12 can be prevented from being exposed to the outside between the fastener element 14 and the cloth 2 in the left-right direction.
In this way, in the present embodiment, the substantially entire fastener tape 12 is covered and shielded from the outside (upper side) by the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 of the cloth 2, and the exposed portion of the fastener tape 12 can be made extremely small. Thus, even if the fastener tape 12 does not have water repellency or water blocking property, for example, if the cloth 2 of the garment 1 has water repellency or water blocking property, it is possible to make it difficult for liquid such as water to intrude from the front side to the back side of the garment 1 through, for example, the portion of the fastener 10 of the garment 1. In this case, since the waterproof property or the water blocking property is not imparted to the fastener tape 12, there can be obtained advantages of reducing the manufacturing cost and simplifying the manufacturing relationship.
In the present embodiment, since the fastener tape 12 is largely covered with the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 of the cloth 2, the fastener tape 12 is hard to be seen from the outside of the garment 1, and thus the design and the appearance quality of the garment 1 can be easily improved.
In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 4, the sewn portion 5 formed linearly in the front-rear direction is provided on the back surface side of the garment 1 so as to be in contact with the 1 st fin portion 15b of the fastener element 14. However, in the present invention, the linear sewn portion 5 may be provided at a position slightly separated from the 1 st fin portion 15b of the fastener element 14 on the back surface side of the garment 1. In this case, the position of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 of the cloth 2 can be fixed by the linear sewn portion 5 on the front surface side of the garment 1, and the fastener tape attaching edge portion 3 is kept in contact with the 2 nd fin portion 16b of the fastener element 14 or in the vicinity of the 2 nd fin portion 16b, so that the fastener tape 12 can be prevented or suppressed from being exposed to the outside between the fastener element 14 and the cloth 2.
In addition, in the present invention, instead of the fastener element 14 of the above-described embodiment, a plurality of fastener elements 14a according to a modification shown in fig. 9, for example, may be provided in the fastener tape 12, thereby forming the fastener tape 11a.
The fastener element 14a according to this modification includes: a 1 st fin 15f extending from the 1 st trunk 15a to the outside in the lateral direction; and a 2 nd fin 16e extending outward in the left-right direction from the 2 nd trunk 16 a.
In order to prevent or suppress the sewn portion 5 from overlapping the 1 st fin portion 15f in the up-down direction, the 1 st fin portion 15f has a 1 st inclined portion 15g that gradually reduces the height dimension of the 1 st fin portion 15f toward the outside in the left-right direction. Thus, for example, even when the sewn portion 5 (the lower line 5 b) is temporarily placed so as to overlap the 1 st fin portion 15f in the up-down direction during the sewing process, the sewn portion 5 (the lower line 5 b) can be caused to move outward in the left-right direction, and the sewn portion 5 can be easily arranged at a position outside the 1 st fin portion 15f in the left-right direction. In addition, the sewn portion 5 can be easily brought into contact with the lateral end surface of the 1 st fin portion 15f on the outer side in the lateral direction.
In order to prevent or suppress the sewn portion 5 from overlapping the 2 nd fin portion 16e in the up-down direction, the 2 nd fin portion 16e has a 2 nd inclined portion 16f that gradually reduces the height dimension of the 2 nd fin portion 16e toward the outside in the left-right direction. Thus, for example, in the sewing process, the sewn portion 5 (upper line 5 a) can be easily arranged at the outer side in the lateral direction than the 2 nd fin portion 16e, as in the case of the 1 st inclined portion 15g. In addition, only one of the 1 st inclined portion 15g of the 1 st fin portion 15f and the 2 nd inclined portion 16f of the 2 nd fin portion 16e may be formed in the fastener element 14 a.
In the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 3 and 4, the sewn portion 5 where the fastener stringer 11 and the cloth 2 are sewn is formed in a straight line along the front-rear direction. However, in the present invention, for example, as in the product with a slide fastener according to another modification shown in fig. 10, the sewn portion 5 where the fastener stringers 11 and the cloth 2 are sewn may be formed substantially linearly so as to include a portion that is locally slightly bent or curved in the front-rear direction.
Specifically, the sewn portion 5 in the modification shown in fig. 10 is formed by: when the fastener stringer 11 is sewn to the cloth 2, the position of the interweaving portion 6 (i.e., the needle-falling position at which the sewing needle 54 penetrates the cloth 2 and the fastener tape 12) at which the sewn portion 5 is formed is set to a position on the inner side in the left-right direction than the position of the outer side end surface of the 1 st fin portion 15 b.
Accordingly, the sewn portion 5 of fig. 10 in the modification includes: a linear portion that contacts the 1 st fin portion 15b of the fastener element 14, and a portion that is slightly bent or curved toward the inside in the left-right direction from the position of the outer side end surface of the 1 st fin portion 15 b. In this case, a linear portion of the sewn portion 5 is formed in the element region 21. The bent or curved portion of the sewn portion 5 is formed in the gap region 22. Further, it is preferable that the position of the interwoven portion 6 of the sewn portion 5 is set within a range between the 1 st step portion 15e of the 1 st element portion 15 and the outer side end surface of the 1 st fin portion 15b in the right-left direction in a bottom view (fig. 10) of the slide fastener product.
Although not shown, the substantially linear sewing portion 5 further includes the following sewing portions: for example, the upper thread 5a and the lower thread 5b are arcuately curved so as to bypass the outer side in the left-right direction of the fastener element 14, and the lower thread 5b is formed so as to contact a part of the 1 st fin portion 15b of the fastener element 14.
By forming such a substantially linear sewn portion 5, the fastener stringer 11 can be sewn to the cloth 2 substantially in the same manner as the linear sewn portion 5 of the foregoing embodiment.
In the present embodiment, the case where the garment 1 with the slide fastener 10 has the waterproof property or the water-repellent property has been described, but in the present invention, the garment 1 with the slide fastener 10 may not have the waterproof property or the water-repellent property. In the present embodiment, the garment 1 is described as a representative example of the product to which the slide fastener 10 is attached, but the product with the slide fastener in the present invention is not limited to the garment. The zipper-equipped product of the present invention includes various products such as daily sundry products including clothing, shoes, bags, and the like, products including industrial materials, and various sheet products used in automobiles, trains, airplanes, and the like, other than clothing.
