Abstract
本发明涉及一种用于电动助力转向装置的阻尼器,所述阻尼器(150)设置在蜗杆轴(100)的两端,并且包括:橡胶材质的橡胶部(152);以及分别设置在所述橡胶部(152)的两个端面的阻尼器框架(151),所述橡胶部(152)包括:至少一个凹部(152b),通过在所述橡胶部(152)的外周面形成凹槽来凹陷形成所述凹部(152b);凸部(152a),所述凸部(152a)是所述橡胶部(152)的外周面的凸出形成的剩余部分。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及用于电动助力转向装置(EPS)的阻尼器,更具体地,涉及一种具有止动器功能的阻尼器,用于防止辅助电机结合到转向柱的管柱式电动助力转向装置(C-EPS)中的嘎吱噪音(rattle noise)。
背景技术
通常,车辆的用于产生转向力的动力转向装置可以轻巧且顺畅地操纵方向盘,并且进行快速转向操作。
这样的动力转向装置具有能够以较小的力进行转向操作、做选择时不受转向传动比(gear ratio)的转向力的影响、通过吸收由路面的凹凸不平所引起的冲击来防止其传递至方向盘等优点。
最近,利用电动助力转向装置(EPS,ELECTRIC POWER STEERING),根据由车速传感器和转向扭矩传感器等检测到的车辆运行条件,通过由电子控制单元(ECU)驱动电机来在低速行驶时提供轻盈且舒适的转向感,而在高速行驶时提供沉稳的转向感的同时,还提供良好的方向稳定性,并且在紧急状况下还可以实现快速转向,从而为驾驶员提供最佳的转向条件。
电动助力转向装置(EPS)在不使用液压的情况下,通过电机的动力来支持转向力。为此,设置被电子控制单元(ECU,Electric Control Unit)控制并产生动力的电机、通过电机进行旋转的蜗杆轴(Worm shaft)以及与其啮合的蜗轮(Worm wheel),由此将蜗轮的旋转力传递至齿轮箱,从而辅助转向力。
这种电动助力转向装置(EPS)根据设置位置,细分为管柱式助力转向装置(C-EPS)、小齿轮助力转向装置(P-EPS)以及齿条助力转向装置(R-EPS)。
对于齿条助力转向装置而言,电机设置在齿条,并且通过电机的驱动力来使齿条杆进行左右滑动,由此产生与方向盘的转向相应的转向力。对于小齿轮助力转向装置而言,辅助电机结合到小齿轮并对小齿轮进行辅助,因此施加到轴或接头的负载会减小。管柱式助力转向装置是辅助电机(assist motor)结合到转向柱(steering column)的结构。
在管柱式电动助力转向装置(C-EPS)中,蜗杆轴和蜗轮的各个齿条通过啮合来传递旋转力,在这种结构中,随着时间的推移,旋转部的接触部位之间逐渐发生磨损,特别是随着蜗杆轴的轴向间隙增大,在蜗杆和蜗轮啮合并进行旋转的部分必然会引起嘎吱噪音(rattle noise)。
为防止这种嘎吱噪音(rattle noise),沿蜗杆轴的方向安装阻尼器。
参考图1和图2,通常在管柱式电动助力转向装置(C-EPS)中,在蜗杆轴10的两端设置有滚珠轴承40、41,并且阻尼器50分别结合到其外侧的两端。这种结构也在现有技术的韩国公开专利第10-2018-0094310号(专利文献1)中有过类似的图示。
在图3中示出了应用于图1以及图2的蜗杆组件的阻尼器50的结构。阻尼器50由橡胶(rubber)材质的橡胶部52、设置在该橡胶部52的两个侧面的阻尼器框架51、51a组成。
当负载因引发嘎吱噪音(rattle noise)的外部因素而施加到所述阻尼器50时,所述阻尼器50发生近似线性的压缩变形(参考图4)。为防止阻尼器50内的橡胶部52过度压缩,需要有止动(stopping)功能。
然而,在传统的防止嘎吱噪音(De-rattle)结构中,阻尼器的止动功能由各种周边部件决定,这种环境存在使止动功能根据部件的公差而具有差异的问题。

发明内容
发明要解决的问题
本发明是为了解决上述现有技术中的问题而提出的,其目的在于,提供一种具有止动功能以能够减少止动功能上的偏差的用于电动助力转向装置(EPS)的阻尼器。
用于解决问题的手段
为解决上述问题,根据本发明的一实施例的用于电动助力转向装置的阻尼器,其设置在蜗杆轴的两端,并且可以包括:橡胶材质的橡胶部;以及阻尼器框架,其分别设置在所述橡胶部的两个端面,所述橡胶部包括:通过在所述橡胶部的外周面上形成凹槽来形成凹陷而成的至少一个凹部;以及凸部,其为所述橡胶部的外周面的凸出形成的剩余部分。
此外,所述橡胶部的凹部可以形成为平行于所述阻尼器框架的环形状。
此外,所述橡胶部的凹部可以形成为诸如螺纹的旋风形状或螺旋形状。
此外,当负载施加于阻尼器时,所述凹部可以先被压缩变形。
此外,在彼此相邻的所述凸部因施加的负载增加而相接触之后,所述橡胶部的由负载的增加所引起的压缩变形量可以降低。
发明效果
由于根据本发明的具有如上结构的用于电动助力转向装置的阻尼器本身具有止动功能,因此,具有能够减少止动功能上的偏差,并且能够删除或简化用于起到止动作用的现有的周边部件的效果。

具体实施方式
下面,将参考图5至图9,详细描述根据本发明的用于电动助力转向装置(EPS)的阻尼器。
在图5和图6中表示安装有根据本发明的一实施例的用于电动助力转向装置(EPS)的阻尼器的状态。
在连接于辅助电机轴的蜗杆轴100的两端分别设置有滚珠轴承140、141,在滚珠轴承140、141的外侧分别设置有阻尼器150。在图5和图6中,设置在左侧的阻尼器150与电机相邻,并且起到阻尼作用,而设置在右侧的阻尼器150与齿轮箱箱体110相邻,并且起到阻尼作用。
在图7中表示根据本发明的一实施例的用于电动助力转向装置(EPS)的阻尼器150的结构。
所述阻尼器150包括:橡胶材质的橡胶部152;和分别设置在橡胶部152的两个侧面(端面)的阻尼器框架151。
所述橡胶部152包括:通过在所述橡胶部152的外周面上形成凹槽(groove)来凹陷形成的凹部152b;和凸部152a,其为所述橡胶部152的外周面的剩余部分。所述橡胶部152的凹部152b可以平行于所述阻尼器框架151的环形状并形成有一个或多个,还可以形成为类似螺纹的旋风形状或螺旋形状。
若负载施加到所述阻尼器150,则可变形的橡胶部152被压缩变形。若施加有低负载,则所述凹部152b先被压缩变形。如图8所示,若所施加的负载增加,则所述凹部152b的压缩变形量将会增加,直到所述凹部152b被压缩变形为止。
如图8所示,在所述凹部152b被压缩到彼此相邻的凸部152a相接触为止之后,所述凸部152a也将一起压缩变形,此时,针对压缩负载的阻力将会增加。即,当所述凹部152b的变形量达到一定值时,彼此相邻的凸部152a相互接触,从此时开始阻力将会增大,因此实现了一种针对压缩变形的止动功能。
图9是表示施加到所述阻尼器150的负载的变形量的图表。在图9中,I为传统的阻尼器50的负载-变形图,II为根据本发明的阻尼器150的负载-变形图。
比较图表I和II可知,随着所施加的负载增加,阻尼器150的橡胶部152以相同的样式线性地发生压缩变形,从施加一定负载时(图9的地点A)开始,图表I保持线性的压缩变形,但是在图表II中,随着阻尼器的阻力增加,由负载所引起的压缩变形量相对变小。
从图9的图表可知,根据本发明的阻尼器150,当负载达到一定的负载值时,从此时开始,橡胶部152的彼此相邻的凸部152a相互接触,由此阻力增大并实现止动功能,从而能够防止过度压缩。
如上所述,在根据本发明的用于电动助力转向装置(EPS)的阻尼器150中,所述橡胶部152由凸部152a和凹部152b构成,由此其本身在施加负载时具有止动功能,因此能够防止过度压缩。由于阻尼器150本身具有止动功能,因此能够减少止动功能上的偏差,并且能够删除或简化用于起到止动作用的周边部件。

Claims (5)
1.一种用于电动助力转向装置的阻尼器,所述阻尼器(150)设置于蜗杆轴(100)的两端,其特征在于,包括:
橡胶材质的橡胶部(152),以及
阻尼器框架(151),分别设置于所述橡胶部(152)的两个端面;
所述橡胶部(152)包括:
至少一个凹部(152b),通过在所述橡胶部(152)的外周面形成凹槽来凹陷形成所述凹部(152b),以及
凸部(152a),所述凸部(152a)是所述橡胶部(152)的外周面的凸出形成的剩余部分。
2.根据权利要求1所述的用于电动助力转向装置的阻尼器,其特征在于,
所述橡胶部(152)的凹部(152b)形成为平行于所述阻尼器框架(151)的环形状。
3.根据权利要求1所述的用于电动助力转向装置的阻尼器,其特征在于,
所述橡胶部(152)的凹部(152b)形成为螺旋形状。
4.根据权利要求1所述的用于电动助力转向装置的阻尼器,其特征在于,
当负载施加于所述阻尼器(150)时,所述凹部(152b)先被压缩变形。
5.根据权利要求4所述的用于电动助力转向装置的阻尼器,其特征在于,
在彼此相邻的所述凸部(152a)之间因施加的负载增加而相接触之后,所述橡胶部(152)的由负载的增加所引起的压缩变形量减少。
