Description

Skin stimulation device
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a skin stimulation device that applies stimulation to skin of a face or the like using a roller.
Background
A cosmetic apparatus is known that applies a stimulus to the skin by rotating a roller around the skin surface around the face. In such a cosmetic device, electromagnetic wave-based stimulation is applied to the skin in addition to roller-based stimulation (for example, refer to patent document 1 and patent document 2).
Patent document 1 discloses a cosmetic roll in which a rotating body is rotated so as to be in contact with the skin surface, and a high-frequency current is applied to make up the skin. The cosmetic roll has: a substantially rod-shaped main body portion having a shaft support portion for supporting the rotation shaft of at least two rotating bodies in the vicinity of the end portion, and formed so as to be capable of holding the outer circumference in the longitudinal direction; two rotation shafts of the rotation body, which protrude from the length direction of the main body part in directions having different predetermined opening angles; at least two rotating bodies which are rotatable by the rotating shafts and which have electrode portions for applying a high-frequency current to at least one portion which is in contact with the skin surface; and a high-frequency generating means for generating a high-frequency current by energizing the electrode portion.
Patent document 2 discloses a cosmetic roll capable of tightening facial lines by sufficiently exercising facial muscles by pressing stimulation and electrical stimulation based on the roll. The cosmetic roll has: a pair of arms bifurcated into two; and a pair of rollers rotatably supported by the distal end side of each arm, each roller having a positive electrode and a negative electrode for applying electrical stimulation of EMS to the muscle around each roller.

Patent document 2: japanese patent application laid-open No. 2019-193726.
In this way, in the conventional cosmetic roll, an electrode for applying electromagnetic waves to a treatment site such as skin is disposed on the roll. However, if the electrode is disposed on the rotating roller itself, electromagnetic waves applied to the skin may be insufficient.
For example, in a structure in which an electrode is provided on the surface of a roller, in order to reliably apply electromagnetic waves to the skin, it is required to strongly press the roller against the skin. However, the strong pressing of the skin by the roller is not preferable because the burden on the skin becomes large.
Disclosure of Invention
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a skin stimulation device capable of more effectively applying both stimulation by pressing with a roller and stimulation by electromagnetic waves to the skin.
The skin stimulation device according to one aspect of the present invention includes: at least one roller rotating about a rotation axis; and an electrode pair located outside the roller in the rotation axis direction and applying electromagnetic waves to the treatment site.
According to the skin stimulation device of one aspect of the present invention, the stimulation based on the pressing of the roller and the stimulation based on the electromagnetic wave can be applied to the skin more effectively.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In this embodiment, a cosmetic device for cosmetic purposes will be mainly described as an example of a skin stimulation device. The beauty treatment device according to the present embodiment mainly performs skin beauty treatment by applying roller-based stimulation and electromagnetic wave (e.g., RF, EMS, etc.) stimulation to the face and the skin around the face, thereby improving the firmness, improving the relaxation, and the like. In addition, a site that is focused on using a cosmetic instrument is called a treatment site.
(integral Structure of beauty treatment apparatus)
First, the overall structure of the cosmetic device 1 according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to fig. 1 and 2. Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing the external appearance of a cosmetic device 1. Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing a state in which the body 10 and the cover (lid) 70 constituting the cosmetic device 1 are disassembled.
As shown in fig. 1, the cosmetic device 1 has an outer shape of a columnar body having a flat substantially elliptical shape in its cross section (specifically, a cross section substantially parallel to the upper surface 1 a). Various changes can be made with respect to the appearance of the cosmetic device 1 other than the upper surface 1 a. The cosmetic device 1 is mainly composed of a main body 10 and a cover 70.
The main body 10 includes a roller 20, an electrode 30, and the like. The cover 70 is provided so as to cover a part of the main body 10 (specifically, a part where the roller 20 is disposed). The vertical positional relationship of the beauty apparatus 1 is not particularly limited, but for convenience of explanation, one surface of the beauty apparatus 1 on the cover 70 side is referred to as an upper surface 1a, and one surface of the main body 10 located on the opposite side to the upper surface 1a is referred to as a lower surface 1b (also referred to as a bottom surface 1 b).
The lower surface 1b of the cosmetic device 1 is a flat surface. Thus, the beauty apparatus 1 can stand on the horizontal surface of a desk, a wash basin, a dressing table, a shelf, or the like, for example, with the lower surface 1b facing downward. By forming the beauty apparatus 1 to be capable of standing alone, ease of storage and handling can be improved.
Further, by providing the cover 70 to the cosmetic device 1, the roller portion 20 and the electrode portion 30 of the body portion 10 can be covered. This prevents dirt from adhering to the roller portion 20 and the electrode portion 30, and damage to the roller portion and the electrode portion. In addition, the beauty apparatus 1 can be easily carried when going out.
The cosmetic device 1 of the present embodiment is a cordless (cord) and includes a secondary battery (battery unit 35 (see fig. 5)) therein. A power supply connection portion 13 for supplying electric power to the secondary battery is provided on a side surface of the main body portion 10 (specifically, the back surface portion 1 b). Furthermore, in another way, the cosmetic device 1 may also have a removable primary battery. In a further embodiment, the cosmetic device 1 may also have a power cord.
(appearance structure of body portion)
Next, the external appearance of the body 10 of the cosmetic device 1 will be described. Fig. 3 is a side view showing the front surface portion 11a side of the main body 10. Fig. 4 shows a surface of the roller on which the main body 10 is disposed. Further, since the surface is located on the opposite side of the lower surface 1b of the main body 10, it may also be referred to as an upper surface of the main body 10.
The upper surface of the main body 10 has a substantially V-shape in side view (see fig. 3). The roller portion 20, the electrode portion 30, and the like are disposed on the upper surface of the main body portion 10.
The outer shape of the main body 10 is mainly composed of a frame 11, a cover member 15, and a roller housing member 16. The housing 11 is formed in an outer shape other than the upper surface of the main body 10. The frame 11 has a box shape that is opened upward. The housing 11 has a flat substantially elliptical shape in plan view, and matches the shape of the cosmetic device 1 in plan view (when viewed from the cover 70 side). The battery unit 35, the control unit 50, the heater unit 40, the high-frequency generator unit 60, and the like are housed in the housing 11 (see fig. 6).
The positional relationship between the front, rear, left, and right of the housing 11 is not particularly limited, but for convenience of explanation, each portion of the outer peripheral surface of the housing 11 having a substantially elliptical cross-sectional shape is referred to as a rear surface portion 1b and a side surface portion 11c with respect to the front surface portion 1a of one side surface.
The back surface portion 1b is provided on the opposite side of the front surface portion 1a in a positional relationship substantially parallel to the front surface portion 11 a. The front surface portion 11a and the rear surface portion 11b are formed of substantially flat surfaces. The upper ends (the side where the cover member 15 is disposed) of the front surface portion 11a and the rear surface portion 1b have a shape matching the shape of the cover member 15, and have a substantially V-shape with a central portion thereof recessed in the lateral direction in a side view.
Each side surface portion 11c is located between the front surface portion 11a and the rear surface portion 11 b. The area of the side surface 11c is smaller than the areas of the front surface 1a and the rear surface 1b, and the side surface 11c has a convex curved shape.
A power supply connection portion 13 (see fig. 1) connected to a connector for supplying power to a battery portion 35 (see fig. 5) provided in the main body portion 10 is disposed in the rear surface portion 11 b. The battery unit 35 is charged via the power supply connection unit 13. In another embodiment, the power supply connection portion 13 may be provided on the front surface portion 11a of the housing 11 or the lower surface 1b of the housing 11.
An operation portion 12 is provided on either one of the two side portions 1c. The operation unit 12 functions as a power switch of the cosmetic device 1. That is, the user can switch between ON/OFF (start and stop of heating) of the heater unit 40 in the main body unit 10 and ON/OFF (start/stop) of the operation of the high-frequency generator unit 60 by operating the operation unit 12.
In the cosmetic device 1, when the temperature of the heater unit 40 is configured to be adjustable, the user can adjust the temperature of the heater unit 40 by operating the operation unit 12. Similarly, in the cosmetic device 1, when the frequency or power of the electromagnetic wave applied to the electrode portion 30 can be changed, the user can change the frequency or power of the electromagnetic wave by operating the operation portion 12.
The outer shape of the housing 11 is preferably sized in consideration of the size of the hand of the user.
For example, the thickness of the frame 11 (the distance between the front surface portion 11a and the rear surface portion 11 b) is preferably a size that is easy for the user to grasp. Specifically, the thickness (the size in the front-rear direction) of the body 10 is preferably 20mm or more and 45mm or less, more preferably 30mm or more and 40mm or less.
The longitudinal width of the frame 11 (more specifically, the longitudinal dimension of the central portions of the front surface portion 11a and the rear surface portion 11 b) may be such that the entire front surface portion 11a or the rear surface portion 11b can be covered with the palm. For example, in the case where the user of the cosmetic apparatus 1 is mostly a japanese female, the longitudinal width of the main body portion 10 may be 60mm or more and 70mm or less.
The cover member 15 forms the outer shape of a large part of the upper surface of the main body portion 10. The cover member 15 has a flat substantially elliptical shape in plan view, and matches the shape of the housing 11 in plan view. The cover member 15 has a substantially V-shape with a central portion in the longitudinal direction recessed in a side view, in accordance with the shape of the upper surface of the main body 10. The cover member 15 has 4 openings 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d (see fig. 8). A roller and an RF electrode are embedded in any one of these openings.
The two rollers 21a and 21b are rotatably attached to the cover member 15. The two rollers 21a and 21b constitute a roller portion 20.
The roller housing member 16 is provided between the frame 11 and the cover member 15. Specifically, the roller housing member 16 is attached to the opening of the housing 11. The roller housing member 16 is provided with a recess 16A for housing each of the rollers 21a and 21b. The roller housing member 16 includes an electrode portion 30, a heater portion 40, and the like.
(internal Structure of Main body)
Next, a more detailed structure of the inside of the main body 10 will be described. Fig. 5 shows the internal structure of the main body 10. Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A of fig. 4. Fig. 6 is a block diagram schematically showing the internal structure of the main body 10. Fig. 7 and 8 show a state in which the roller portion (the cover member 15 and the roller portion 20) of the main body portion 10 is removed.
As shown in fig. 6, the main body 10 includes: a roller portion 20, an electrode portion 30, a heater portion 40, a high-frequency generating portion 60, a control portion 50, an operating portion 12, a battery portion 35, and the like.
The roller portion 20 has two rollers (i.e., a first roller 21a and a second roller 21 b). As shown in fig. 5, the first roller 21a has a rotation shaft 22a and rotates around the rotation shaft. The second roller 21b has a rotation shaft 22b and rotates around the rotation shaft. The two rotation shafts 22a and 22b are positioned on the same line in a plan view. The two rotation shafts 22a and 22b are arranged in a substantially V-shape in side view. That is, the two rotation shafts 22a and 22b extend along the shape of the upper surface of the main body 10 in the longitudinal direction.
As described above, the first roller 21a and the second roller 21b are attached to the cover member 15. Specifically, the first roller 21a is fitted into the opening 15a of the cover member 15, and the second roller 21b is fitted into the opening 15 b. The rotation shafts of the rollers are attached to bearing portions 23a and 23b provided inside the cover member 15. The bearing portions 23a and 23b are disposed at substantially the center (i.e., the most recessed portion) of the cover member 15 in the longitudinal direction. Specifically, the rotary shaft 22a of the first roller 21a is mounted on the bearing portion 23a. The rotation shaft 22b of the second roller 21b is attached to the bearing portion 23b.
The cover member 15 and the roller portion 20 attached to the cover member 15 are configured to be detachable from the main body portion 10 (see fig. 7 and 8). Thus, after the cosmetic device 1 is used, the cover member 15 and the like can be detached for cleaning.
In addition, in a state where the first roller 21a and the second roller 21b are fitted into the respective openings 15a and 15b, a gap between the peripheral edge portion of the opening and the roller is preferably 1mm or less. This reduces the possibility of the skin being pinched by the gap during use.
As shown in fig. 4, the rotary shaft 22a and the first roller 21a are disposed so as to extend from the center portion in the longitudinal direction of the cover member 15 to one end portion side (the left end portion side in fig. 5). The rotation shaft 22b and the second roller 21b are disposed so as to extend from the center portion of the cover member 15 in the longitudinal direction toward the other end portion (the right end portion in fig. 5).
According to the above configuration, the user of the cosmetic device 1 can rotate the roller on the surface of the treatment site by moving the body 10 so as to slide in the direction orthogonal to the rotation axes 22a and 22b in a state where the upper surface of the body 10 is in contact with the treatment site. Thereby, the treatment site can be stimulated by the roller.
The rollers are preferably formed of a material having relatively high thermal conductivity, such as metal. This allows the roller to be efficiently warmed by the heat generated by the heater unit 40. In the present embodiment, the first roller 21a and the second roller 21b are formed of stainless steel. Since the roller is formed of stainless steel, for example, a material that is less likely to become allergic, such as a person having an allergic reaction, can be selected.
The electrode portion 30 has two electrode pairs (i.e., a first electrode pair 31 (RF electrode 31a and RF electrode 31 b)), and a second electrode pair 32 (RF electrode 32a and RF electrode 32 b)). Each electrode pair is composed of a positive electrode and a negative electrode. For example, in the case where the RF electrode 31a is a positive electrode, the RF electrode 31b is a negative electrode. In addition, for example, in the case where the RF electrode 31a is a positive electrode, the RF electrode 31b is a negative electrode. However, the positive and negative electrodes are not limited thereto.
Each electrode pair constituting the electrode portion 30 is located outside in the rotation axis direction with respect to each roller constituting the roller portion 20.
In the present embodiment, one RF electrode 31a of the first electrode pair 31 is located outside the first roller 21a in the axial direction Xa of the rotation shaft 22a, and one RF electrode 32a of the second electrode pair 32 is located outside one RF electrode 31a of the first electrode pair 31 (see fig. 10). The RF electrode 31a and the RF electrode 32a are fitted into the opening 15c of the cover member 15. The RF electrode 31a and the RF electrode 32a are arranged along the shape of the cover member 15 having a substantially V-shape in side view (see fig. 3).
The other RF electrode 31b of the first electrode pair 31 is located outside the second roller 21b in the axial direction Xb of the rotary shaft 22b, and the other RF electrode 32b of the second electrode pair 32 is located outside the other RF electrode 31b of the first electrode pair 31 (see fig. 10). The RF electrode 31b and the RF electrode 32b are fitted into the opening 15d of the cover member 15. The RF electrode 31b and the RF electrode 32b are arranged along the shape of the cover member 15 having a substantially V-shape in side view (see fig. 3).
As shown in fig. 3, the RF electrodes 31a, 31b, 32a, 32b slightly protrude from the surface of the cover member 15 in side view. Thus, when the upper surface of the main body 10 is brought into contact with the surface of the face or the like when the cosmetic device 1 is used, the upper surfaces of the RF electrodes 31a, 31b, 32a, 32b are more likely to be brought into contact with the skin.
By disposing the rollers and the electrodes in the manner described above, when the surface of the roller is brought into contact with the treatment site such as the face during use of the cosmetic device 1, a current from the electrodes can be applied to the outside of the contact portion where the roller is in contact with the treatment site.
Electromagnetic waves having a predetermined frequency are transmitted from the high-frequency generating unit 60 to each electrode of the electrode unit 30. When an electrical signal is transmitted from the high-frequency generating section 60 to each electrode of the electrode section 30 in a state where each electrode is in contact with a treatment site (for example, the surface of the face of a user), an electrical current flows between each electrode constituting the electrode pair via the treatment site (for example, the surface layer section of the skin of the user) (see fig. 10).
As a result, an ac magnetic field is formed in the surface layer portion of the skin through which the current passes, and water molecules in the skin can be vibrated to raise the temperature (see fig. 10).
The electromagnetic wave outputted from the high-Frequency generating unit 60 is, for example, a Radio Frequency (RF) wave. The frequency of the radio frequency wave may be, for example, below 1 MHz. The voltage of the electromagnetic wave flowing between the electrodes may be, for example, 100V or more and 150V or less, preferably 110V or more and 140V or less, and more preferably 125V or more and 135V or less. The current of the electromagnetic wave flowing between the electrodes may be, for example, 10mA or more and 40mA or less, preferably 15mA or more and 35mA or less, and more preferably 20mA or more and 30mA or less.
The type and frequency of the electromagnetic wave output from the high-frequency generating unit 60 are not limited to the above type and frequency. The electromagnetic wave can be used for purposes other than beauty (medical use, health use) by appropriately changing the type and frequency of the electromagnetic wave outputted from the high-frequency generating unit 60.
The heater portion 40 is provided for heating the outer peripheral surface of each roller and the like. The heater portion 40 is mainly composed of the heat transfer plate 25, the heating film 26, and the annular member 27.
The heat transfer plate 25 is a thin plate-like member formed of a metal material having relatively high thermal conductivity, such as stainless steel or aluminum. The heat transfer plate 25 is warmed up by a heating film 26 located below it. The heat transfer plate 25 forms a bottom surface of the recess 16A that can accommodate the roller portion 20 (see fig. 8). In a state where the roller portion 20 is accommodated in the recess portion 16A, the outer peripheral surface located below the first roller 21a and the second roller 21b is close to the heat transfer plate 25. Thereby, heat is transferred from the heat transfer plate 25 to the first roller 21a and the second roller 21b, and mainly the surface portions of the rollers are warmed. The effect of beauty treatment can be further improved by stimulating the treatment site with the heated roller.
The heating film 26 is disposed below the heat transfer plate 25. The heating film 26 is formed of, for example, a conventionally known electrothermal film. The heating film 26 performs ON/OFF (ON/OFF) of energization based ON an instruction from the control section 50. When the heating film 26 starts to be energized, the temperature of the heating film 26 rises. Thereby, the temperature of the heat transfer plate 25 disposed so as to overlap the heating film 26 also increases.
The annular member 27 is disposed so as to surround the outer periphery of the heat transfer plate 25. The annular member 27 is formed of, for example, silicone rubber. This can suppress intrusion of water into the heater portion 40 by the annular member 27. Further, by providing the annular member 27, the heater portion 40 can be thermally insulated from the surroundings thereof.
The high-frequency generating section 60 has, for example, a high-frequency electronic circuit. The high frequency generation unit 60 is turned ON/OFF (start/stop) based ON the instruction from the control unit 50 to control the operation. When the high-frequency generating unit 60 starts to operate, electromagnetic waves are transmitted from the high-frequency generating unit 60 to the electrode pairs 31 and 32 of the electrode unit 30.
The control unit 50 controls ON/OFF (start/stop) of the heater unit 40 and the high frequency generation unit 60 based ON an instruction from the operation unit 12. For example, when the user selects to start the operation of the cosmetic device 1 in the operation unit 12, the control unit 50 starts the energization of the heater unit 40 and the operation of the high frequency generation unit 60. Thereby, the temperature of the heating film 26 in the heater portion 40 rises, and a high-frequency signal is transmitted to the electrode portion 30.
The battery unit 35 is provided inside the housing 11, and supplies electric power to the control unit 50, the heater unit 40, the high-frequency generator unit 60, and the like (see fig. 5). In the present embodiment, the battery unit 35 is constituted by a secondary battery, and is charged via the power supply connection unit 13.
The operation portion 12 is provided on a side surface portion 11c of the housing 11. By operating the operation unit 12, the user can switch ON/OFF (start and stop of heating) of the heater unit 40 in the main body unit 10, ON/OFF of the operation of the high frequency generation unit 60, and the like.
(Structure of roller and electrode)
Here, the more detailed shapes of the first roller 21a and the second roller 21b will be described with reference to fig. 9, 10, and the like. The arrangement of the roller portion 20, the electrode portion 30, and the heater portion 40 will be described below. Fig. 9 is a diagram for explaining the shape of the upper surface portion of the main body 10 in side view. Fig. 10 is a diagram schematically showing the condition of the inside of the skin when the cosmetic device 1 is brought into contact with the face F of the user.
In the present embodiment, the first roller 21a and the second roller 21b have a substantially truncated cone shape in which the diameter gradually increases from the central portion in the longitudinal direction of the cover member 15 toward the outside. As shown in fig. 9, a part of the first roller 21a and the second roller 21b slightly protrudes from the surface of the cover member 15 in a side view. Thus, when the upper surface of the body 10 is brought into contact with the surface of the face or the like when the cosmetic device 1 is used, the upper surfaces of the first roller 21a and the second roller 21b are preferentially brought into contact with the skin.
The upper surfaces of the first roller 21a and the second roller 21b are substantially V-shaped along the shape of the substantially V-shaped cover member 15 in side view. Since each roller has a substantially truncated cone shape, an angle B formed by a tangent line of the upper surface of the first roller 21a and a tangent line of the upper surface of the second roller 21B is smaller than an angle a formed by the two rotation shafts 22a and 22B (see fig. 9). In one example, angle a can be set to about 130 degrees.
Since each roller has such a structure, when the first roller 21a and the second roller 21b are rotated on the surface of the skin having a certain degree of elasticity and unevenness, the surface of each roller can be reliably bonded to the skin. Therefore, the user can be prevented from excessively strongly contacting the roller with the skin, and an appropriate pressing force can be transmitted from the roller to the treatment site.
The surfaces of the first roller 21a and the second roller 21b in the rotation axis direction preferably have a curved surface shape with slightly rounded corners. This can increase the contact area between the surface of the roller and the skin or the like having a certain degree of elasticity.
Since the first roller 21a and the second roller 21B have a truncated cone shape and the angle B is smaller than the angle a, the angle C (see fig. 10) formed by the tangent line of the lower surface of the first roller 21a and the tangent line of the lower surface of the second roller 21B is larger than the angle a. For example, in the case where the angle a is about 130 degrees, the angle C is close to 180 degrees. Thereby, the first roller 21a and the second roller 21b can be arranged in a state closer to the flat surface of the heat transfer plate 25 located below them. This makes it possible to more effectively transfer heat from the heat transfer plate 25 to the rollers.
Electromagnetic waves (high-frequency signals) having a predetermined frequency are transmitted from the high-frequency generating unit 60 to each electrode of the electrode unit 30. When a high-frequency signal is transmitted from the high-frequency generating section 60 to each electrode in a state where each electrode of the electrode section 30 is brought into contact with a treatment site (for example, the surface of the face F of the user), an electric current flows between each electrode constituting the electrode pair via the treatment site (for example, the surface layer portion of the skin of the user).
For example, in fig. 10, the current flowing inside the skin is indicated by a broken line. When an electromagnetic wave having a predetermined frequency is transmitted from the high-frequency generating section 60, a current flows from one RF electrode 31a to the other RF electrode 31b. Similarly, when electromagnetic waves having a predetermined frequency are transmitted from the high-frequency generating section 60, current flows from one RF electrode 32a to the other RF electrode 32b.
Thus, an alternating magnetic field is formed in the surface layer portion of the skin through which the current passes, and water molecules in the skin can be vibrated to raise the temperature. For example, in fig. 10, the region where the alternating magnetic field is formed is drawn with oblique lines.
In this way, in the present embodiment, two sets of electrode pairs 31, 32 are provided, and a current flows between each electrode pair. Therefore, a stronger alternating magnetic field can be formed than in the case where an alternating magnetic field is generated using 1 pair of electrodes. In the present invention, the number of electrode pairs is not limited to two. In the case where a stronger electromagnetic wave can be generated in the high-frequency generating section 60 or the like, the pair of electrodes may be one. In addition, if it is desired to further improve the synergistic effect of the plurality of electrode pairs, 3 or more electrode pairs may be provided.
(method of using beauty treatment equipment)
The beauty treatment device 1 of the present embodiment is used for, for example, beauty treatment of the face and the skin around the face (for example, the whole face, the face line, the neck, and the like). An example of a method of using the cosmetic device 1 will be described below.
When using the cosmetic apparatus 1, the user holds the main body portion 10 with one hand. Specifically, the thumb is placed on the side surface portion 11c of the body portion 10 on the side of the operation portion 12, and a plurality of fingers other than the thumb are placed on the side surface portion 11c on the opposite side, so that the body portion 10 is held by the palm so as to cover the back surface portion 11 b.
In a state where the main body 10 is held in this manner, when the user operates the operation unit 12 to turn ON (ON) the power supply, the heater unit 40 and the high-frequency generation unit 60 are brought into an operating state. Then, the upper surface (surface on which the roller is disposed) of the main body 10 is brought into contact with the treatment site. In this state, the user repeatedly moves the main body 10 back and forth in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the rotation shafts 22a and 22b of the respective rollers, for example.
By putting the high-frequency generating unit 60 into an operating state, an ac magnetic field is formed inside the skin by electromagnetic waves such as radio frequency waves applied from the RF electrodes to the treatment site (see fig. 10). Thereby, the inside of the skin around the treatment site is warmed.
In addition, when the heater unit 40 is placed in the energized state, the temperature of the heater unit 40 increases, and the rollers (i.e., the first roller 21a and the second roller 21 b) are heated. This can raise the temperature of the surface of the skin with which the roller is in contact.
The two rollers (i.e., the first roller 21a and the second roller 21 b) disposed inside the RF electrodes move in a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis while rotating on the surface of the treatment site. This can stimulate the treatment site and promote circulation of aged substances in the skin or moisture retained in the skin. Thus, it is expected to improve the skin metabolism, thereby improving the skin firmness and elasticity.
(summary of the first embodiment)
The beauty apparatus 1 of the present embodiment includes: two rollers (specifically, a first roller 21a and a second roller 21 b); and two electrode pairs (specifically, a first electrode pair 31 and a second electrode pair 32) that apply electromagnetic waves to the treatment site. The first roller 21a rotates about the rotation shaft 22 a. The second roller 21b rotates about the rotation shaft 22 b. One RF electrode 31a of the first electrode pair 31 is located outside the rotation axis direction of the first roller 21a, and the other RF electrode 31b of the first electrode pair 31 is located outside the rotation axis direction of the second roller 21b. One RF electrode 32a of the second electrode pair 32 is located outside the rotation axis direction of the first roller 21a, and the other RF electrode 32b of the second electrode pair 32 is located outside the rotation axis direction of the second roller 21b.
According to the above configuration, the electrode for applying electromagnetic waves to the treatment site is provided not on the rotating roller but on the outer side of the roller in the rotation axis direction. Thus, the electrode can be brought into contact with the surface of the treatment site without strongly pressing the roller against the treatment site. Thus, electromagnetic waves can be applied to the treatment site without applying an excessive load to the treatment site. Therefore, according to the cosmetic device 1 of the present embodiment, the stimulus by the pressing of the roller and the stimulus by the electromagnetic wave can be more effectively applied to the skin.
Further, by disposing the electrodes (specifically, the RF electrodes 31a, 31b, 32a, 32 b) on the outer sides of the first roller 21a and the second roller 21b in the rotation axis direction, when the surface of the roller is brought into contact with the treatment site such as the face during use of the cosmetic device 1, a current from the electrodes can be applied to the outer sides of the contact portion where the roller is in contact with the treatment site. Thus, an alternating magnetic field can be formed in a relatively wide range including a portion where the roller is abutted among the treatment portions. Therefore, the temperature of the treatment site can be effectively raised.
The beauty apparatus 1 of the present embodiment has a shape that is easy for a user to hold. Therefore, a cosmetic device that is more convenient for the user to use can be provided.
In the present embodiment, the cosmetic device 1 constituted by the main body 10 and the cover 70 is exemplified, but in other embodiments, the cosmetic device 1 may be constituted by only the main body 10. That is, the cosmetic device 1 may not have the cover 70.
In the present embodiment, the cosmetic device used for cosmetic purposes is mainly described as an example of the skin stimulation device of the present invention, but the application of the skin stimulation device is not limited to cosmetic purposes. The skin stimulation device can be used for other purposes than beauty treatment, such as health purposes and medical purposes.
When the skin stimulation device is used for a purpose other than cosmetic purposes, the type of electromagnetic wave output from the high-frequency generation unit 60, the output of the frequency, and the like are preferably changed according to the purpose. In the case where the skin stimulation device is used for medical purposes as well as health purposes, it may be used in a part of the body other than the face. Examples of electromagnetic waves other than radio frequency waves include EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation: muscle electrical stimulation).
The skin stimulation device using EMS can exercise muscles by applying stimulation to the skin and its deep muscles. For example, in the case of a skin stimulation device for home use, the frequency of the EMS used can be, for example, a low frequency (0.1 Hz to 1000 Hz) or a frequency of 1KHz to 2.5 KHz. The voltage of the electromagnetic wave flowing between the electrodes is, for example, 7V or more and 50V or less, and the current is, for example, 200 μa or less.
In the case of a skin stimulation device used for medical purposes (business use), the current value, frequency, and voltage of the EMS used are not particularly specified, but a doctor can determine the current value, frequency, and voltage according to the symptoms of each patient. For example, as the frequency, a frequency band from an intermediate frequency (1000 Hz or more and 10000Hz or less) to a high frequency (10000 Hz or more) is preferably used.
