Technical Field
The invention relates to a sharps box, in particular to a sharps box with a cutting function.
Background
In clinical applications, contaminated instruments and supplies need to be collected in a timely manner as prescribed to prevent accidental injury to the contaminated items. For various sharps, such as syringe needles, blades, suture needles, ampoules, glass, etc., currently the usual regulatory requirements are to be placed in a sharps box for immediate collection.
During the collection of sharps, the sharp needle portion and other structures such as a connecting hose are required to be separated during the collection, as the sharps portion is often connected to other structures such as a syringe or tubing.
The current common practice is to separate the needle from the infusion tube by physical breaking and scissors cutting. In the separation process, the operation is very inconvenient, moreover, the sheared needle is not easy to enter the sharps box from the opening of the sharps box, and often falls outside the sharps box, so that the environmental pollution is caused.
Thus, improvements to existing sharps boxes are needed. The sharps box with the cutting function adopts the improved design that the cutting mechanism is arranged on the sharps box, so that separation between a needle head and other parts such as a hose is directly realized on the sharps box, the operation is simplified, and the sharps are prevented from falling.
Disclosure of Invention
According to the sharps box with the cutting function, through the design of the cutting mechanism on the box cover, the sharps parts such as the needle heads and the like can be conveniently separated from other parts such as the connected hose and the injector and the like and then directly fall into the sharps box, the sharps box is convenient to use, the sharps parts cannot fall out of the sharps box, and the sharps box is very safe and convenient to use clinically.
