Abstract
用于促进植物生长的含铟吸水凝胶及其制备方法。该方法包括:提供乙醇并加入三氯化铟使其充分溶解;再加入乙醇胺后形成前驱体溶液;以及将前驱体溶液和去离子水充分混合并干燥后即得吸水凝胶。本发明的含铟吸水凝胶吸水性强,循环稳定性好,低温时吸水而高温时则释放,特别适用于促进干旱地区的植物生长。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种为植物生长提供水分的吸水凝胶。
背景技术
植物生长所需水分供应一直存在问题,尤其是不适于传统液态水灌溉的干旱地区。因此,一直存在将大气中的水有效转换为植物生长的水源的需要。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种吸水凝胶,其能有效促进尤其是干旱地区的植物生长。
根据本发明的第一方面,提供了一种用于促进植物生长的吸水凝胶的制备方法,其包括:
提供乙醇并加入三氯化铟使其充分溶解;
再加入乙醇胺后形成前驱体溶液,其中三氯化铟的含量为5-7mol/L,乙醇胺的含量为40-45mL/L;以及
将前驱体溶液和去离子水充分混合并干燥后即得吸水凝胶,其中前驱体溶液与去离子水的体积比为1:2~2:1,干燥温度为40℃~80℃。
本发明首先使金属离子与乙醇中的羟基形成弱配位,所有金属离子处于弱配位平衡态,然后再加入乙醇胺,使部分氨基替换原配位的羟基,从而形成氨基/金属/羟基多组分共同配位的化合物。
在未加水干燥之前,只是初始形成了凝胶前驱体,其是处于平衡态的配位化合物。加入水后,整个体系所处环境发生变化,部分金属离子会聚集,形成数个纳米例如约5纳米的微小晶体结构。加水再干燥过程可分散配位化合物,使水凝胶的结构重新组合,从而形成能够加强水凝胶的吸水能力的多孔结构。
根据本发明的制备方法,优选将前驱体溶液和去离子水混合后置于(广口)盘皿中进行干燥直至乙醇溶剂与水全部挥发。
根据本发明的制备方法,前驱体溶液中三氯化铟的含量优选为6mol/L,乙醇胺的含量优选为42mL/L。本发明中三氯化铟和乙醇胺的含量比例对吸水能力具有重要影响。
根据本发明的制备方法,前驱体溶液与去离子水的体积比优选为1:1,干燥温度优选为45℃~55℃,更优选为50℃。干燥温度太高会破坏水凝胶的结构,太低会使水凝胶脱水不完全。
根据本发明的另一方面,提供了一种用于促进植物生长的吸水凝胶,其由上述方法所制备。
根据本发明的又一方面,还提供了一种促进植物生长的方法,其包括:
将上述吸水凝胶放置于具有土壤植物的可封闭农场中;
使农场上午处于封闭状态以在吸水凝胶受热阳光后释放水分至农场土壤中;
使农场傍晚处于开放状态以使吸水凝胶从周围环境吸收水分。
根据本发明的优选实施例,可封闭农场可采用透明塑料大棚形式,晚上打开,使凝胶吸水;白天关闭,在太阳的照射下使凝胶脱水,增强棚内相对湿度。实际使用时,吸水凝胶更优选以涂抹等合适方式分布于大棚内周,既提高给水均匀性还与土壤分离以避免污染土壤。
本发明的含铟凝胶吸水性强,循环稳定性好,低温时吸水而高温时则释放,特别适用于促进植物生长。应用本发明的凝胶后,灌溉所需的液态水将大大减少,即使在干旱和沙漠等地区,植物的生长也不再受水资源匮乏的限制。
本发明将作物种植从复杂的供水链中解放出来,对降低成本产生重大影响,并具有显著的生态优势,特别是在干旱地区。另外,整个过程都是由太阳能驱动,无需额外的能量输入。

具体实施方式
下面结合实施例和附图对本发明做进一步说明,本领域技术人员应该理解,实施例和附图只是为了更好地理解本发明,并不用于任何限制目的。
含铟吸水凝胶的制备
将0.15mol的InCl3加入25ml乙醇溶剂中,再超声溶解形成溶液;
再将1050μl的乙醇胺加入上述溶液中,超声后得到前驱体溶液;
将上述前驱体液和等量去离子水充分混合后,将混合溶液均匀地覆盖在广口盘皿上,在50℃下干燥20分钟,制得含铟吸水凝胶备用。
吸水凝胶性能分析/测试
图1为制得的吸水凝胶在干燥状态以及在环境中(80%相对湿度和25摄氏度)吸水不同时间段后的拍照示意图。由图1可知,干燥的吸水凝胶开始为透明状态,随着吸水时间的推移,逐渐变浑浊并生成白色固体。
图2为干态和湿态吸水凝胶的XRD比较图。将凝胶暴露在空气中24小时,得到潮湿状态下的XRD分析图;将凝胶加热烘干得到其干燥状态的XRD分析图。由图2可知,这两种状态都是低结晶度。凝胶吸水之后在14.93°处的峰消失,表明吸水之后凝胶的结构遭到了破坏。
图3为分别取0.1g、0.15g和0.2g上述制备(烘干后)的含铟吸水凝胶薄膜在环境中(80%相对湿度和25摄氏度)的吸水质量图。由图3可知,随着凝胶的用量增加,其能够吸收的水分也增多。
图4为含铟吸水凝胶在不同光强的太阳光照射下的脱水曲线图,其中取0.2g上述制备的铟吸水凝胶在环境中吸水24小时。由图4可知,凝胶的脱水质量随光照强度的增加而增加。在1个太阳光的照射下,凝胶在90分钟就能够脱水80%左右。
图5为上述制备的0.5g含铟吸水凝胶在每次吸附、脱附循环期间的重量变化图。由图5可知,连续的吸水、脱水之后,凝胶能够保持稳定性。
模拟农场促进植物生长试验
将制备的吸水凝胶放在盘皿里并将盘皿固定在封闭透明箱体的上半部分。箱体体积10cm*10cm*20cm,放入5g上述含铟吸水凝胶。箱体下部放有土壤,土壤里随机放入绿豆种子。该封闭箱体可称之为模拟农场。模拟农场中,凝胶的水释放过程是由太阳辐射引起的,释放出的水蒸气在封闭箱体中被限制,然后凝结并落入土壤中进行灌溉;吸水过程则是在夜晚潮湿环境中开放箱体后进行。
图6为模拟农场的初始状态与放入吸收有水分的吸水凝胶并接受光照一小时后的拍照对比图。由图6可清晰看到,模拟农场在放入凝胶并接受光照一小时后,凝胶释放大量水分附着在容器壁并持续流入土壤。夜晚持续吸水至达饱和状态,每日吸水量约15g。
图7为应用凝胶与否的模拟农场中植物的生长情况图,以40℃烘干后的土壤为例。每天,在上午10点,将模拟农场的箱盖关闭并放置在室外接受光照;在下午6点,将模拟农场的箱盖打开,使凝胶能在夜晚潮湿的环境中吸收水分。重复上述操作8天之后,其中的植物的高度达到了8厘米。另一个没有应用凝胶的处于相同的环境条件下的参照模拟农场中,植物基本没有生长。这说明,应用凝胶的模拟农场中,植物得到了持续灌溉并因此茁壮生长。
图8为凝胶在模拟农场中吸水后,经加热释放的(收集)水与世界卫生组织标准饮用水元素含量分析对比图。由图8可知,凝胶释放的水中所有元素含量都低于世界卫生组织标准饮用水的限高,这表明,通过凝胶收集的水可以安全应用于植物的生长。
本发明的吸水机制或可解释为:水凝胶的颗粒表面首先与水分子结合,形成单分子层化学吸附,200kJ mol-1左右,吸附距离较小(<1nm),不易脱附,但能固定水分子的结合方向;然后在吸附水羟基的作用下进行多层物理吸附,20kJ mol-1左右,吸附距离较大(<100nm),脱附能耗低,吸/脱附速率较快。理论上,由单个金属离子构成的配位化合物总捕获水分子数可达50个以上。
Claims (6)
1.一种用于促进植物生长的吸水凝胶的制备方法,包括:
提供乙醇并加入三氯化铟使其充分溶解;
再加入乙醇胺后形成前驱体溶液,其中三氯化铟的含量为5-7mol/L,乙醇胺的含量为40-45mL/L;以及
将前驱体溶液和去离子水充分混合并干燥后即得吸水凝胶,其中前驱体溶液与去离子水的体积比为1:2~2:1,干燥温度为40℃~80℃。
2.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其中将前驱体溶液和去离子水混合后置于盘皿中进行干燥直至乙醇溶剂与水全部挥发。
3.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其中前驱体溶液中三氯化铟的含量为6mol/L,乙醇胺的含量为42mL/L。
4.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其中前驱体溶液与去离子水的体积比为1:1,干燥温度为50℃。
5.一种用于促进植物生长的吸水凝胶,由根据权利要求1-4之一的方法所制备。
6.一种促进植物生长的方法,包括:
将根据权利要求5的吸水凝胶放置于具有土壤植物的可封闭农场中;
使农场上午处于封闭状态以在吸水凝胶受热阳光后释放水分至农场土壤中;
使农场傍晚处于开放状态以使吸水凝胶从周围环境吸收水分。
