Description

Composition comprising at least one acid leguminous polysaccharide
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for keratin materials, such as the skin, in particular for moisturizing keratin materials, comprising at least one carob seed polysaccharide, at least one amino acid or one amino acid derivative and water.
Another subject of the invention is a method for the cosmetic treatment of keratin materials, such as the skin, in particular moisturizing keratin materials, comprising a first stage of mixing: a composition a) comprising at least one acid bean seed polysaccharide and water; and a composition B) comprising at least one amino acid or one amino acid derivative, then comprising a second stage of applying said mixture to keratin materials, so as to form a gel on the keratin material without the aid of a support.
Another subject of the invention is a multi-compartment kit comprising in a first compartment a composition a) comprising at least one carob seed polysaccharide and water; and in the second compartment a composition B) comprising at least one amino acid or one amino acid derivative.
Background
The skin, which is a protective and exchange barrier to the environment, is both firm and fragile, may lose softness, and has a reduced water holding capacity, resulting in dry skin.
The face is one of the body surfaces that is most exposed to external attacks (e.g., pollution, sunlight, and temperature changes). Such daily exposure often results in premature skin appearance changes, and the skin can become dull, dry out, or wrinkles prematurely.
To better combat these attacks, there are currently a number of care methods aimed at limiting the impact on facial skin by moisturizing the facial skin or by applying, for example, one or more cosmetically active ingredients to the facial skin.
In general, cosmetic mask type products are well known in the cosmetic field. They may be provided in the form of powders, gels, emulsions, impregnated fabrics, hydrogels or pastes to be hydrated. Thus, various formulations of this mask type are described in the literature, for example, "Cosmetic and Toiletry Formulations", second edition, ernest w.flick,1992.
These cosmetic masks consist of a film which is formed after the skin has been treated and which is removed by washing or by peeling (i.e. by pulling down or by peeling off to form more or less large pills) after a certain residence time (leave-on time) has elapsed, in particular masks based on synthetic polymers (for example polyvinylpyrrolidone or polyvinyl alcohol) or on natural polymers (for example alginates combined with calcium ions or clays).
However, a mask having a powdery form to be hydrated or a paste form does not provide a refreshing feeling or a moisturizing feeling which is immediate and long in duration. Some of the mask is also washed away, thereby eliminating most of the benefits of the active ingredients present in the mask.
In addition, the mask having the form of an impregnated fabric type provides a refreshing feel and good moisture retention upon application. However, these masks involve the use of unique forms that are not suitable for every facial morphology. Thus, the moisturizing active ingredient is unevenly distributed throughout the face, particularly around the mouth, eyes and nose.
Polysaccharides produced from sour beans (Tamarindus indica) seed are widely used in cosmetics for their moisturizing properties and are known to improve skin elasticity (Cosmetic Technology, volume 14 (5), pages 17-21, 2011).
Patent KR101580809 describes a process for manufacturing a cosmetic patch in the form of a gel comprising a mixture of two compositions, one comprising a gum from tamarind (tamarind) seeds and the other comprising an alcohol. However, the fluidity of the composition is insufficient to be directly applied to the face at ambient temperature without using a mold or support and then cured to form a mask directly on the face. Therefore, the described method does not allow the moisture-retaining active ingredient to be uniformly distributed over the entire face.
There is therefore still a need to develop cosmetic compositions, in particular for moisturizing keratin materials, which do not have the above-mentioned drawbacks.
Disclosure of Invention
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a cosmetic composition that is easy to apply to the face, allows the formation of a moisturizing mask or patch directly on the face, and allows all areas of the face, particularly the areas around the eyes and mouth, to be moisturized uniformly.
This object is achieved by the present invention, which subject matter is a cosmetic composition comprising:
(i) At least one acid legume polysaccharide;
(ii) At least one amino acid or one amino acid derivative; and
(iii) And (3) water.
The invention relates to a method for the cosmetic treatment of keratin materials, such as the skin, in particular for moisturizing keratin materials, comprising a first stage of mixing:
-a composition a) comprising at least one acid bean seed polysaccharide and water; and
-a composition B) comprising at least one amino acid or one amino acid derivative, then comprising a second stage of applying said mixture to keratin materials, so as to form a gel on said keratin materials without the aid of a support.
The invention also relates to a multi-compartment kit comprising:
(i) A first compartment comprising composition a as described above; and
(ii) A second compartment comprising composition B as described above.
Thus, it has been demonstrated that the cosmetic composition as described above makes it possible to form a moisturizing patch or mask in the form of a gel directly on keratin materials, such as the face, without the use of a mold or support. The composition according to the invention cures on the face after application to the face in order to form a moisturizing patch or mask in the form of an adhesive hydrogel. Such a viscous hydrogel can thus be removed without washing the keratin materials.
Furthermore, the composition according to the invention is easily applied to all areas of the face, for example using a finger or brush. The thus formed mask can uniformly moisturize all areas of the face, particularly dry areas such as the areas around the eyes and mouth. Thus, the composition according to the invention can be directed to areas not reachable by conventional fabric masks, such as the eyes and surrounding mouth.
Furthermore, the composition according to the invention may be applied in the form of a patch to be specific to certain areas of the face, in particular dry areas, such as the areas around the eyes and mouth. The term "patch" is understood to mean a small device at a specific area of the skin, for example the face, intended to be applied to a specific area of the skin.

Figure BDA0004219467820000141
The appearance of the gel obtained by mixing compositions a and B in a 1:1 ratio was evaluated at t=30 min according to the following grading scale (grading is carried out on a scale of 1 to 6):
the hydrogel is fluid if the gel exhibits a grade strictly less than 4. When the dish is tilted it will flow and not solidify at the end of 30 minutes.
If the gel exhibits a rating of 4 to 5, the hydrogel is in the form of a liquid hydrogel that is easy for the user to apply to the skin, in particular the face. The gel becomes a viscous hydrogel at the end of 30 minutes or less. The viscous hydrogel is elastic.
If the gel exhibits a grade equal to 6, the hydrogel is very strong and inelastic. It is difficult for a user to apply it to the face.
Compositions rated strictly less than 4 or equal to 6 after a time t of 30 minutes in a petri dish are considered not useful for wash-free facial mask application.
Compositions rated as 4 or 5 after a time t of 30 minutes in the petri dish are considered useful in wash-free facial mask applications.
Thus, the compositions 1 to 4 according to the invention comprising an amino acid or an amino acid derivative, such as trimethylglycine (betaine), appear to be suitable for use in gels in the form of masks.
Comparative compositions 5 and 6 are liquid and exhibit gel appearance that is not useful in mask form.
The compositions 1 to 4 according to the invention can be easily applied to keratin materials, such as the skin, in particular the face, in order to have a composition distributed uniformly over all areas of the face before curing to form a mask on the face. Thus, the composition according to the present invention can uniformly moisturize all areas of the face, particularly the areas around the eyes and mouth.
Furthermore, when the mask is removed from the face, no cleansing is required to apply the composition of the present invention to the skin.
Example 2
The following composition 7 was prepared according to the procedure described in example 1.
