For the purpose of making the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present application more apparent, the embodiments of the present application will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, as will be appreciated by those of ordinary skill in the art, in the various embodiments of the present application, numerous technical details have been set forth in order to provide a better understanding of the present application. However, the technical solutions claimed in the present application can be implemented without these technical details and with various changes and modifications based on the following embodiments. The following embodiments are divided for convenience of description, and should not be construed as limiting the specific implementation of the present application, and the embodiments may be mutually combined and referred to without contradiction.
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for setting a media channel, which is applied to a structure as shown in fig. 2, and includes: a session management module 201, a plurality of link communication modules 202 and a media channel resource pool 203.
Specifically, the session management module 201 is configured to manage the media channel resource pool 203, and allocate a media channel to the instant message server according to the number of group chat sessions carried by each current media channel when detecting that the instant message server initiates a media channel application based on a group chat request of a current user, where the allocated media channel is used to carry the group chat session initiated by the current user; the number of group chat sessions currently carried by the distributed media channels is smaller than a preset carrying threshold; the instant message server is notified of the assigned media channel and the number of group chat sessions currently carried on the assigned media channel is updated.
The link communication module 202 is configured to create or close at least one media channel between the instant messaging server and the group chat server, where the media channel is configured to carry a plurality of group chat sessions.
The link communication module 202 does not participate in complex processing logic, is easy to expand, and can be deployed in a plurality of ways.
The media channel resource pool 203 is used to store media channels created by the link communication module 202.
The session management module 201 and the link communication module 202 in this embodiment are logical network elements, and may be deployed in combination with an instant message server, see fig. 3, or may be deployed independently, see fig. 4.
The flowchart of the specific implementation of the method for setting a media channel in this embodiment is shown in fig. 5, and includes:
at step 501, at least one media channel is created between an instant messaging server and a group chat server.
Step 502, in the case that it is detected that the instant message server requests media channels based on the group chat request of the current user, a media channel is allocated to the instant message server according to the number of group chat sessions carried by each current media channel.
Step 503, notifying the instant message server of the allocated media channel, and updating the number of group chat sessions currently carried on the allocated media channel.
In this embodiment, by creating at least one media channel between the instant messaging server and the group chat server, one media channel can carry a plurality of group chat sessions, and when detecting that the instant messaging server initiates a media channel application based on a group chat request of a current user, according to the number of group chat sessions carried by each media channel, one media channel is allocated to the instant messaging server and used for carrying the group chat session initiated by the current user, and the number of group chat sessions carried by the allocated media channel is smaller than a preset threshold, then notifying the allocated media channel to the instant messaging server, and updating the number of group chat sessions on the allocated media channel, so that the utilization rate of a single media channel is improved, the usage amount of the whole media channel is reduced, the consumption of link resources is reduced, and the number of group chat sessions carried on the media channel is updated in real time, thereby facilitating the allocation of the media channels according to the load condition of the media channel, and realizing the load balancing of network equipment.
Implementation details of the method for setting a media channel in this embodiment are specifically described below, and the following description is provided only for convenience of understanding, and is not necessary to implement this embodiment.
In step 501, N media channels between the instant message server and the group chat server are created according to a preset minimum reserved number N of media channels, where N is a natural number greater than 1, and the media channels are used to carry multiple group chat sessions.
Specifically, the session management module sets a minimum reserved number N of media channels in advance, then creates N media channels through a plurality of link communication modules according to the preset minimum reserved number N of media channels, and each link communication module creates at least one media channel, wherein the total number of media channels created by each link communication module is N. By presetting the minimum reserved number N of the media channels and then creating N media channels, the operation of temporarily creating the media channels during group chat message transmission can be reduced, and the impact caused by busy service period is smoothed, wherein the minimum reserved number N of the media channels is set according to the scale of a user and the actual use condition.
In one example, step 501 may be implemented by using an interaction diagram as shown in fig. 6, and specifically includes:
s601, the session management module is started and loads configuration.
Wherein the loaded configuration comprises: the minimum reserved number N of media channels, the maximum number of media channels, the number of group chat sessions which can be carried by a single media channel, the low available threshold value of a media channel resource pool, the number of newly increased channels of single expansion of the media channel resource pool, the scanning period of the media channel resource pool, the address of a group chat server, the service port and the like.
S602, the session management module initiates a pre-creation media channel request to the link communication module.
The media channel creation request carries the minimum reserved number N of the media channels, the group chat server address and the service port, and the media channels are created by the link communication module.
S603, the link communication module initiates TCP connection to the group chat server to create a media channel.
S604, the link communication module returns a response message to the session management module that the media channel creation was successful.
The response message carries the information of the created media channel, such as a link communication module to which the media channel belongs, an internal number and a service condition.
S605, the session management module updates the media channel resource pool.
Specifically, after receiving the response message that the media channel is successfully created, the session management module updates the media channel resource pool by recording the information of the media channel in the response message.
In step 502, in case that it is detected that the instant message server initiates a media channel application based on a group chat request of a current user, the session management module selects a media channel with the smallest number of group chat sessions currently carried among the created N media channels, and allocates the selected media channel to the instant message server. The distributed media channels are used for bearing the group chat session initiated by the current user, and the number of the group chat sessions currently borne by the distributed media channels is smaller than a preset bearing threshold.
Specifically, the session management module selects a target link communication module meeting a first preset condition from the multiple link communication modules, selects a media channel with the smallest number of group chat sessions currently carried from all media channels created by the target link communication module, and then distributes the selected media channel to the instant message server. The first preset condition comprises: the total number of group chat sessions currently carried by all media channels created by the link communication module is the smallest. The media channel with the smallest group chat session number is selected from the target link communication modules with the smallest total group chat session number, so that the media channel with the smallest group chat session number and the link communication module with the smallest group chat session number are fully utilized, and the situations of more media channels, large data receiving and sending quantity, high load, low load of partial equipment, and less transmission data, namely unbalanced load of network equipment, of partial equipment are avoided.
In step 503, the session management module notifies the instant message server of the allocated media channels to transmit group chat messages and updates the number of group chat sessions currently carried on the allocated media channels. For example, one is added to the number of group chat sessions currently carried on the assigned media channel in the media channel resource pool.
In one example, step 503 and step 503 may be implemented by an interaction diagram as shown in fig. 7, specifically including:
s701, the user creates a group chat session, i.e. a session is established between the user and the instant messaging server.
S702, the instant message server applies for media channel to the session management module, and the instant message server applies for establishing session with the group chat server.
S703, the session management module allocates a media channel.
Specifically, the session management module allocates a media channel to the instant message server according to the number of group chat sessions carried by each media channel currently.
S704, the session management module returns a response message of the media channel to the instant message server, i.e. notifies the instant message server of the allocated media channel.
S705, the instant message server requests the group chat server to establish a session. Wherein the request message carries information of the allocated media channel.
S706, the group chat server agrees to establish a session, i.e. the media channel binding is successful, and can be used to transmit the group chat message.
In another embodiment, after a media channel is allocated to the instant message server, in the case that a media channel release request initiated by the instant message server based on the exiting group chat of the current user is detected, that is, that a group chat session end caused by the exiting group chat of the user or the exiting by the group administrator is detected, the media channel requested to be released by the instant message server is acquired, then the media channel requested to be released is reserved, and the number of the group chat sessions currently carried on the media channel requested to be released is updated. For example, the number of group chat sessions currently carried on the assigned media channel in the media channel resource pool is reduced by one. By releasing the media channel at the end of the group chat session, invalid occupation of the media channel is avoided.
In another embodiment, a flowchart of a specific implementation of a method for setting a media channel according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown in fig. 8, and includes:
at step 801, at least one media channel is created between an instant messaging server and a group chat server.
Step 801 is substantially the same as step 501, and will not be described herein.
Step 802, obtaining the available amount of the media channel resource pool according to the created media channel number and the preset maximum group chat session bearing number of the single media channel.
In particular, in the unassigned case, the media channel resource pool availability = the number of created media channels the maximum number of group chat session bearers for a single media channel.
Step 803, in the case that it is detected that the instant message server requests for media channels initiated based on the group chat request of the current user, a media channel is allocated to the instant message server according to the number of group chat sessions carried by each current media channel.
Step 803 is substantially the same as step 502, and will not be described herein.
Step 804, update the media channel resource pool availability.
Specifically, after notifying the instant message server of the allocated media channel and updating the number of group chat sessions currently carried on the allocated media channel, the maximum number of group chat session bearers on the currently allocated media channel is reduced by one, and then the available media channel resource pool is updated according to the maximum number of group chat session bearers of the allocated single media channel and the created number of media channels.
Step 805 periodically detects whether the current available media channel resource pool is less than a preset available threshold, i.e. a low available threshold for media channel resource pools. If yes, go to step 806.
In one example, it is periodically detected whether the current media channel resource pool availability is less than a preset availability threshold, and step 806 is entered if the media channel resource pool availability is less than the preset availability threshold.
In another example, after the session management module notifies the instant messaging server of the assigned media channels to transmit the group chat message, i.e., after each media channel is assigned for the group chat session, the current media channel resource pool availability is detected, and step 806 is entered if the media channel resource pool availability is less than a preset availability threshold.
Step 806, if the current available media channel resource pool is smaller than the available threshold, creating L media channels again, where L is the preset number of single expansion channels, and is determined according to the actual use condition. And periodically detecting whether the current available quantity of the media channel resource pool is smaller than a preset available threshold value so as to realize the capacity expansion of the media channel resource pool.
In one example, the session management module also periodically detects whether the number T of current media channels is greater than a preset maximum number of media channels; releasing the media channels meeting the second preset condition under the condition that T is larger than the maximum number of the media channels; wherein the second preset condition includes: the number of group chat sessions currently carried is zero. And releasing the zero number of the group chat sessions carried currently so as to avoid system consumption.
Specifically, when the number of media channels meeting the second preset condition is greater than P, that is, the number of media channels with zero number of group chat sessions currently carried is greater than P, releasing P media channels meeting the second preset condition, where P is the difference between T and the minimum reserved number N of preset media channels. By adding the release condition for the zero number of the group chat sessions currently carried, the redundant consumption of the system can be avoided while the sufficient number of media channels in the busy period of the service is ensured.
In this embodiment, the use condition of the media channels in the system is detected periodically, so as to perform intelligent adjustment on the number of the media channels in the system.
The above examples in this embodiment are examples for easy understanding and are not limited to the technical solution of the present invention.
The above steps of the methods are divided, for clarity of description, and may be combined into one step or split into multiple steps when implemented, so long as they include the same logic relationship, and they are all within the protection scope of this patent; it is within the scope of this patent to add insignificant modifications to the algorithm or flow or introduce insignificant designs, but not to alter the core design of its algorithm and flow.
