Description

Method and device for determining size of transmission block
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for determining a size of a transport block.
Background
In the unlicensed Side Link (SL) band, the transmission of the physical side-link shared channel (Physical Sidelink Shared Channel, PSSCH) from different candidate start symbols, when 2 candidate start symbols are supported in 1 slot (slot), will make the reference symbol lengths different, and thus the transport block sizes (Transport Block size, TB size) also different. For example, when determining the reference symbol length with the first candidate start symbol and calculating the TB size, the reference symbol length is L1, and the calculated TB size is size1; when the reference symbol length is determined with the second candidate start symbol and the TB size is calculated, the reference symbol length is L2 and the calculated TB size is size2.
In the 111 conference, it is proposed that the transmitting terminal device can flexibly decide which candidate start symbol to use to decide the reference symbol length, and instruct the receiving terminal device to decide the calculation of the TB size according to the reference symbol length, but lack the corresponding candidate start symbol selection strategy.

When starting transmission of the physical side uplink shared channel (Physical Sidelink Shared Channel, PSSCH) from different candidate start symbols, the reference symbol length, which may refer to the number of symbols in 1 slot for PSSCH transmission, is made different, which in turn makes the transport block size (Transport Block size, TB size) different. For example, when determining the reference symbol length with the first candidate start symbol and calculating the TB size, the reference symbol length is L1, L1 may be 12 symbols long, and the calculated TB size is size1; when the reference symbol length is determined by the second candidate start symbol and the TB size is calculated, the reference symbol length is L2, L2 may be 5 or 8 symbols in length, and the calculated TB size is size2.
In the 111 conference, it is proposed that the transmitting terminal device can flexibly decide which candidate start symbol to use for deciding the reference symbol length, and dynamically indicate to the receiving terminal device which candidate start symbol to decide the reference symbol length based on. But lacks a corresponding candidate start symbol selection strategy.

It should be noted that, the method for determining the size of the transport block provided in any one of the embodiments of the present application may be performed alone or in combination with possible implementation methods in other embodiments, and may also be performed in combination with any one of the technical solutions in the related art.
The method and apparatus for determining the size of a transport block provided in the present application are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart of a method for determining a transport block size according to an embodiment of the present application. The method of determining the transport block size is performed by a transmitting terminal device. As shown in fig. 2, the method may include, but is not limited to, the steps of:
step S201: based on the specified criteria, determining a target candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource, where the target candidate start symbol is used for the receiving terminal device to determine a transport block size carried in the first time slot resource.
In the embodiment of the present application, the transmitting terminal device may refer to a terminal device that needs to transmit data to other terminal devices. The receiving terminal device may refer to a terminal device that needs to receive data sent by other terminal devices. If one terminal device needs to send data to other terminal devices and receive data sent by other terminal devices, the terminal device can be a sending terminal device or a receiving terminal device. If one terminal device only needs to send data to other terminal devices, the terminal device may be a sending terminal device. If one terminal device only needs to receive data sent by other terminal devices, the terminal device may be a receiving terminal device.
In the embodiment of the present application, the first timeslot resource may be a timeslot resource selected or allocated for the transmitting terminal device. The candidate start symbols in the slot resources selected or allocated by the transmitting terminal device may be 2, respectively the first candidate start symbol and the second candidate start symbol. As shown in fig. 3, a schematic diagram of candidate start symbols in a slot resource (slot). In fig. 3, the first arrow points to a position, representing the position of the first candidate start symbol; the second arrow points to a position indicating the position of the second candidate start symbol. The first candidate start symbol may be, for example, the first symbol in the slot resource, i.e., symbol 0. The second candidate start symbol may be, for example, the fifth or eighth symbol in the slot resource, i.e., symbol 4 or symbol7.
Wherein the determined transport block sizes are different for different candidate start symbols. Taking the first candidate start symbol as an example of the first symbol in the slot resource, the reference symbol length calculated according to the first candidate start symbol may be 12, that is, the length of the AGC symbol and the GP symbol subtracted from the total length of the symbols in the slot resource. Under the reference symbol length, the number of Resource Elements (REs) to which the transport block can map is larger, and the calculated transport block size is larger.
Taking the second candidate start symbol as an example of the eighth symbol in the slot resource, the reference symbol length calculated according to the second candidate start symbol may be 5, that is, the length of the AGC symbol and the GP symbol subtracted from the symbol length after the start of the second candidate start symbol in the timing resource. And under the reference symbol length, the number of the resource blocks which can be mapped by the transmission block is smaller, and the calculated transmission block size is smaller.
In embodiments of the present application, the specified criteria may be any one of a number of criteria, either pre-configured or pre-defined. Wherein the plurality of criteria may be preconfigured or predefined by the network device. Wherein, optionally, a first criterion of the plurality of criteria may be a determination of a target candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource based on a channel occupancy (channel occupancy ration, CR) of the sidelink channel. Specifically, the first criterion may specifically be that, when the current channel occupancy of the sidelink channel is less than or equal to the channel occupancy threshold, determining that the target candidate start symbol is a first candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource; or determining the target candidate start symbol as a second candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource under the condition that the current channel occupancy is greater than or equal to the channel occupancy threshold. Wherein the channel occupancy threshold may be preconfigured or predefined by the network device. Wherein, the sidestream channel may refer to at least one of the following: physical side uplink shared channel (Physical Sidelink Shared Channel, PSSCH), physical side uplink feedback channel (physical sidelink feedback channel, PSFCH), and the like.
Wherein, the calculation methods of the channel occupancy and the channel occupancy threshold reuse the calculation methods specified in R16. I.e. R16 terminal equipment (UE) in [ n-a, n+1 ]]Number of subchannels in range that have been used for transmitting data and [ n, n+b ]]The number of sub-channels included in the acquired sidelink grant within range is n-a, n + b]The ratio of the total number of sub-channels belonging to the resource pool in the range, wherein the value of a and b is determined by the UE. Time slot n refers to a time slot selected or allocated by the UE for transmitting data. Wherein CR is Limit (k) Limiting value of CR measured for a system configured sidelink transmission of priority k, k value being pre-configuredA value of Sigma i≥k CR(i)≤CR Limit (k) And the CR sum corresponding to the through link transmission with the priority value not lower than k is smaller than or equal to the CR Limit value corresponding to the priority k.
Wherein, optionally, a second criterion of the plurality of criteria may be a determination of a target candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource based on a channel busy rate (channel busy ration, CBR) of the sidelink channel. Specifically, the second criterion may specifically be that, when the current channel busy rate of the sidelink channel is less than or equal to the channel busy rate threshold, the target candidate start symbol is determined to be the first candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource; or determining the target candidate start symbol as the second candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource under the condition that the current channel busy rate is greater than or equal to the channel busy rate threshold. Wherein the channel busy rate threshold may be preconfigured or predefined by the network device.
The calculation method of the channel busy rate and the channel busy rate threshold value reuse the calculation method specified in R16. Method for measuring CBR in reuse R16, measuring busyness of channel when current time slot n is selected or allocated by UE for transmitting data, measuring window [ n-c, n-1 ]]The ratio of subchannels having an internal measured received channel strength indication (Received Signal Strength Indicator, RSSI) value above a configuration threshold to the total number of subchannels in the resource pool, where c is 100 or 100.2 u And (c) slots, wherein u refers to the subcarrier spacing size, u=0, 1,2,3.
Wherein, optionally, a third criterion of the plurality of criteria may be that the target candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource is determined according to whether the first time slot resource is located in a Channel Occupancy Time (COT) of other terminal devices except the transmitting terminal device. Specifically, the third criterion may specifically be that, when the first timeslot resource is located within the channel occupation time COT of the other terminal device, the target candidate start symbol is determined to be the first candidate start symbol in the first timeslot resource; and under the condition that the first time slot resource is not located in the COT of other terminal equipment, determining the target candidate starting symbol as a second candidate starting symbol in the first time slot resource.
Wherein, optionally, a fourth criterion of the plurality of criteria may determine the target candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource according to a channel access type performed before the first time slot resource acquired by the transmitting terminal device. Specifically, the fourth criterion may specifically be that, in a case where the channel access Type performed before the first timeslot resource acquired by the sending terminal device is Type 2A, type 2B, or Type 2C, it is determined that the target candidate start symbol is a first candidate start symbol in the first timeslot resource; and under the condition that the channel access Type is Type1, determining the target candidate start symbol as a second candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource.
Wherein, optionally, a fifth criterion of the plurality of criteria may be that the target candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource is determined according to whether the first time slot resource is a plurality of consecutive time slot resources and/or whether the plurality of consecutive time slot resources are located within the channel occupation time COT of the other terminal devices except the transmitting terminal device. Specifically, in one example, the fifth criterion may specifically be that, in a case where the first time slot resource is a plurality of continuous time slot resources, for a first time slot resource in the plurality of continuous time slot resources, a target candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource is determined based on a current channel occupancy rate or a current channel busy rate of the sidelink channel; for other time slot resources of the plurality of consecutive time slot resources, except for the first time slot resource, determining the target candidate start symbol in the other time slot resources as the first candidate start symbol in the other time slot resources.
In addition, in the case where the first slot resource is a plurality of discontinuous slot resources, or in the case where the first slot resource is a single slot resource, the target candidate start symbol in the first slot resource may be determined as the second candidate start symbol in the slot resource for each slot resource in the first slot resource.
Specifically, in another example, the fifth criterion may specifically be that, in a case where the first time slot resource is a plurality of continuous time slot resources, the target candidate start symbol in each of the plurality of continuous time slot resources is determined in combination with whether the plurality of continuous time slot resources are located in the COTs of the other terminal devices except the transmitting terminal device. For example, in the case that the first slot resource is a plurality of continuous slot resources, if the plurality of continuous slot resources are all located in the COTs of other terminal devices, determining a target candidate start symbol in each of the plurality of continuous slot resources as a first candidate start symbol in the corresponding slot resource; if part of the time slot resources or all the time slot resources in the plurality of continuous time slot resources are not located in the COT of other terminal equipment, determining a target candidate starting symbol in each time slot resource in the plurality of continuous time slot resources as a second candidate starting symbol in the corresponding time slot resource.
In addition, in the case where the first slot resource is a plurality of discontinuous slot resources, or in the case where the first slot resource is a single slot resource, the target candidate start symbol in the slot resource may be determined as the second candidate start symbol in the slot resource for each slot resource.
Step S202: and sending indication information to the receiving terminal equipment, wherein the indication information is used for indicating the target candidate start symbol.
In the embodiment of the present application, after receiving the indication information, the receiving terminal device may determine, according to the indication information, a target candidate start symbol in the first timeslot resource of the sending terminal device; and determining the size of the transmission block carried in the first time slot resource according to the target candidate starting symbol in the first time slot resource.
According to the method for determining the size of the transmission block, the sending terminal equipment can determine the target candidate starting symbol in the first time slot resource based on the specified criterion; and sending indication information for indicating the target candidate starting symbol to the terminal equipment, so that the receiving terminal equipment can determine the size of a transmission block carried in the first time slot resource according to the target candidate starting symbol, thereby being capable of determining a proper target candidate starting symbol based on a specified criterion, further determining a proper transmission block size, and sending data from the transmitting terminal equipment to the receiving terminal equipment on the first time slot resource according to the transmission block size, thereby being capable of improving the resource utilization rate of the time slot resource.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating another method for determining a transport block size according to an embodiment of the present application. The method of determining the transport block size is performed by a transmitting terminal device. The appointed criterion is that under the condition that the current channel occupancy rate of the sidestream channel is smaller than or equal to the channel occupancy rate threshold value, the target candidate starting symbol is determined to be the first candidate starting symbol in the first time slot resource; or determining the target candidate start symbol as a second candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource under the condition that the current channel occupancy is greater than or equal to the channel occupancy threshold. Correspondingly, as shown in fig. 4, the method may include, but is not limited to, the following steps:
step S401: and determining the current channel occupancy rate of the sidestream channel.
In the embodiment of the present application, the sidestream channel may refer to at least one of the following: physical side uplink shared channel (Physical Sidelink Shared Channel, PSSCH), physical side uplink feedback channel (physical sidelink feedback channel, PSFCH), and the like.
In the embodiment of the present application, the calculation method of the channel occupancy and the channel occupancy threshold reuse the calculation method specified in R16. I.e. R16 terminal equipment (UE) in [ n-a, n+1 ] ]Number of subchannels in range that have been used for transmitting data and [ n, n+b ]]The number of sub-channels included in the acquired sidelink grant within range is n-a, n + b]The ratio of the total number of sub-channels belonging to the resource pool in the range, wherein the value of a and b is determined by the UE. Time slot n refers to a time slot selected or allocated by the UE for transmitting data. Wherein CR is Limit (k) Transmitting the measured limit value of CR for the sidelink of priority k of the system configuration, k being a preconfigured value, Σ i≥k CR(i)≤CR Limit (k) And the CR sum corresponding to the through link transmission with the priority value not lower than k is smaller than or equal to the CR Limit value corresponding to the priority k.
Step S402: and determining the target candidate start symbol as the first candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource in response to the current channel occupancy being less than or equal to the channel occupancy threshold.
Step S403: and determining the target candidate start symbol as a second candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource in response to the current channel occupancy being greater than or equal to the channel occupancy threshold.
In the embodiment of the present application, the first timeslot resource is a timeslot resource selected or allocated for the transmitting terminal device. Step S402 and step S403 are or are in relation, that is, in an example, in a case where the transmitting terminal device selects or is allocated a slot resource, in a case where the current channel occupancy is less than or equal to the channel occupancy threshold, a first candidate start symbol in each slot resource selected or allocated may be regarded as a target candidate start symbol in the slot resource; in the case where the current channel occupancy is greater than the channel occupancy threshold, the second candidate start symbol in each slot resource selected or allocated may be used as the target candidate start symbol in that slot resource.

Referring to fig. 7, fig. 7 is a flowchart of another method for determining a transport block size according to an embodiment of the present application. The method of determining the transport block size is performed by a transmitting terminal device. The specified criterion is that under the condition that the channel access Type executed before the first time slot resource acquired by the sending terminal equipment is Type 2A, type 2B or Type 2C, the target candidate starting symbol is determined to be the first candidate starting symbol in the first time slot resource; and under the condition that the channel access Type is Type1, determining the target candidate start symbol as a second candidate start symbol in the first time slot resource. In the embodiment of the present application, after determining the target candidate start symbol in the first slot resource, the transmitting terminal device may further perform the following procedure: determining the size of a transmission block carried in each time slot resource in first time slot resources acquired by a transmitting terminal device based on a target candidate starting symbol in the time slot resource; and further transmitting data to the receiving terminal device in the time slot resource according to the transport block size.
According to the method for determining the size of the transmission block, the transmitting terminal equipment can respond that the first time slot resource is a plurality of continuous time slot resources, the plurality of continuous time slot resources are all located in COTs of other terminal equipment except the transmitting terminal equipment, a target candidate starting symbol in each time slot resource in the plurality of continuous time slot resources is determined, and the target candidate starting symbol in each time slot resource is a first candidate starting symbol in each time slot resource; in response to the first time slot resource being a plurality of continuous time slot resources, and some or all of the plurality of continuous time slot resources not being located within the COT of the other terminal device, determining a target candidate start symbol in each of the plurality of continuous time slot resources, as a second candidate start symbol in each of the plurality of time slot resources; and sending indication information to the receiving terminal equipment, wherein the indication information is used for indicating the target candidate starting symbol, so that the suitable target candidate starting symbol can be determined based on whether the first time slot resource is a plurality of continuous time slot resources or not and whether the plurality of continuous time slot resources are positioned in COTs of other terminal equipment or not, further a suitable transmission block size is determined, and data transmission from the transmitting terminal equipment to the receiving terminal equipment is carried out on the first time slot resource according to the transmission block size, thereby improving the resource utilization rate of the time slot resources.
Referring to fig. 10, fig. 10 is a flowchart of another method for determining a transport block size according to an embodiment of the present application. The method of determining the transport block size is performed by a receiving terminal device. As shown in fig. 10, the method may include, but is not limited to, the steps of:
step S1001: and receiving indication information of the sending terminal equipment, wherein the indication information is used for indicating target candidate starting symbols in first time slot resources of the sending terminal equipment, and the target candidate starting symbols are determined by the sending terminal equipment based on specified criteria.
The target candidate start symbol may be the first candidate start symbol or may be the second candidate start symbol. The first candidate start symbol may be, for example, the first symbol in the slot resource, i.e., symbol 0. The second candidate start symbol may be, for example, the fifth or eighth symbol in the slot resource, i.e., symbol 4 or symbol 7.
Wherein CR is Limit (k) Transmitting the measured limit value of CR for the sidelink of priority k of the system configuration, k being a preconfigured value, Σ i≥k CR(i)≤CE Limit (k) And the CR sum corresponding to the through link transmission with the priority value not lower than k is smaller than or equal to the CR Limit value corresponding to the priority k.
In addition, in the case where the first slot resource is a plurality of discontinuous slot resources, or in the case where the slot resource is a single slot resource, the target candidate start symbol in the slot resource may be determined as the second candidate start symbol in the slot resource for each slot resource.
Step S1002: the transport block size carried in the first slot resource is determined based on the target candidate start symbol.
According to the method for determining the size of the transmission block, which is provided by the embodiment of the application, the receiving terminal equipment can receive the indication information of the sending terminal equipment, wherein the indication information is used for indicating the target candidate starting symbol in the first time slot resource of the sending terminal equipment, and the target candidate starting symbol is determined by the sending terminal equipment based on the specified criterion; the size of a transmission block carried in the first time slot resource is determined based on the target candidate start symbol, so that the proper size of the transmission block can be determined, and then data sent by the sending terminal equipment is received on the first time slot resource according to the size of the transmission block, so that the resource utilization rate of the time slot resource can be improved.
The following is a description of specific examples of the above-described method of determining the transport block size of the present disclosure.
The scheme is as follows: the UE (as the aforementioned transmitting terminal device) decides on the basis of which candidate start symbol to calculate the transport block size (TB size) according to the following criteria.
● Criterion 1: when the channel occupancy (channel occupancy ration, CR) is less than or equal to the threshold CR threshold, the transmitting UE calculates the TB size based on the first candidate start symbol, otherwise calculates the TB size based on the 2 nd candidate start symbol.
The CR calculation method reuses the calculation method in R16.
● Criterion 2: when the channel busy rate CBR (channel busy ration) is less than the threshold CBR threshold, the transmitting UE calculates the TB size based on the first candidate start symbol, otherwise calculates the TB size based on the 2 nd candidate start symbol.
-CBR calculation method reuse calculation method in R16
● Criterion 3: when the UE receives COT sharing information at slot N and obtains that the residual COT length is N slots, and the UE selects resources located at slot m, the slot m is located in COT [ slot N, slot n+N ], the TB transmitted at slot m is calculated by the UE based on the first candidate start symbol, otherwise, the TB size is calculated based on the 2 nd candidate start symbol.
● Criterion 4: the UE decides whether to calculate a TB size based on the first candidate start symbol or the second candidate start symbol according to a channel access type performed before the selected resource.
Example 4-1: two methods of calculating a TB size are preconfigured for a UE, namely, a TB size is calculated based on a first candidate start symbol or a TB size is calculated based on a second candidate start symbol, the calculation of the TB size is decided according to LBT type to be used by a transmitting UE before a selected resource, if LBT of type 2A/2B/2C is used, the transmitting UE decides to calculate the TB size using the first candidate start symbol, and if LBT of type 1 is used, the UE decides to calculate the TB size based on the 2 nd candidate start symbol.
-determination of the channel access type may be performed by:
information access type indicated in o decoding SCI
Channel access type preconfigured
The o transmitting UE determines the determined channel type according to the time interval between the last transmission and the last transmission, the time interval between the last transmission and the last transmission is greater than 25us, and the channel access type using type2A
● Criterion 5: when the UE selects consecutive M slot resources,
example 1: the transmitting UE decides the TB size based on the first candidate start symbol for all of the 2 nd to mth slots in the M slots and the TB size corresponding to the first slot in the M consecutive slots may use either criterion 1 or criterion 3 to decide whether to decide the TB size based on the first candidate start symbol or the second candidate start symbol.
Example 2: when the transmitting UE receives the COT sharing information at slot N and obtains that the remaining COT length is N slots, and the selected consecutive M slot resources are all in the COT, i.e., [ slot N, slot n+n ], the transmitting UE decides that TBs corresponding to the 1 st to M-th slots all decide TB size based on the first candidate start symbol.
