Background
A packet data convergence protocol (packet data convergence protocol, PDCP) repetition (repetition) transmission function is introduced in the fifth generation mobile communication technology (the 5th generation,5G) system. PDCP repeat transmission generally refers to the duplication of radio-bearing data packets into two identical packets at the PDCP layer, which are then delivered to two different radio link control (radio link control, RLC) entities for transmission, respectively, and further to a medium access control (media access control, MAC) via different logical channels.
In order to ensure the reliability of data transmission, the original data packet and the duplicate data packet transmitted to the MAC layer cannot be transmitted on the same logical channel, and therefore cannot be transmitted through the same MAC Protocol Data Unit (PDU), because only if the data packet is transmitted on different logical channels through different MAC PDUs, the transmission of another MAC PDU cannot be affected by the loss of one MAC PDU, which is equivalent to doubling the reliability. QUIC (QUIC UDP Internet Connections), which is a low latency internet transport layer protocol based on the user datagram protocol (User Datagram Protocol, UDP), has many advantages such as reduced connection delay, avoidance of head of line congestion, multiplexing, etc.
In the process of data transfer through PDCP repeated transmission, the activation or deactivation of the PDCP repeated transmission function can change the association relation of the data and influence whether the data packet is transmitted or not, and in the transmission process, according to the selection and change of the data transmission protocol of the computer equipment, the data delay of the computer equipment for acquiring feedback at an access server can be caused, so that the use experience of a user is influenced.
