Description
Technical Field

Background
In magnetic bearing systems, a set of protective bearings (or called auxiliary bearings, backup bearings, emergency bearings) is generally required in order to ensure the reliability and safety of the system. The conventional structure absorbs impact energy due to a radial gap between the rotor assembly and the inner race of the rolling bearing by means of an elastic damper. However, the performance requirement on the elastomer is very high, and the circumferential impact is absorbed completely by virtue of the friction force between the radial elastomer and the fixed seat, so that the service life of the elastomer and the reliability of the system are reduced.
In addition, axial impact generated when falling is absorbed through an axial spring arranged on a bearing seat in the traditional structure, and the structure cannot realize continuous adjustment on the pretightening force.

The technical solution of the invention is as follows: the novel protection bearing is low in cost and simple in structure, is formed by combining standard components, and can meet the requirement of a magnetic suspension bearing on high rotation speed.
The technical scheme adopted for solving the technical problems is as follows: the elastic damping protection bearing mainly comprises a supporting seat, a bearing seat, a disc spring, a sealing cover, an adjusting ring, a pressure plate, a radial elastic ring and a protection bearing. The radial direction of the bearing seat is protected to be tightly pressed with the bearing seat through a sealing ring or other elastic elements, the elastic damping support is axially provided through a disc spring, and the radial deformation and axial displacement of the bearing seat outer ring are rigidly limited through a tooth-shaped structure; the disc spring is axially preloaded by the cover.

Detailed Description
As shown in fig. 1, a radial gap 11 is left between the bearing housing 2 and the bearing support 1, which gap is filled with an elastic ring 7 (e.g. a tolerance ring, an O-ring or a metal rubber) and provides radial damping. The sum of the radial gap 11 and the protection gap needs to be smaller than the magnetic gap of the magnetic bearing.
The bearing seat and the bearing seat are circumferentially restrained by the tooth slot form 21 shown in fig. 2, so that the friction moment applied to the elastic ring 7 can be reduced, and the structure is more reliable than that of the positioning pin.
The protection bearing 8 and the bearing seat 2 are connected together according to standard interference fit, and axial rigidity constraint in a pre-tightening state is provided through tooth grooves.
The sealing cover 4 and the adjusting ring 5 are connected to the supporting seat 1 through bolts, a pretightening force is provided for the disc spring 3, and the disc spring is connected with the protection bearing 8 through the pressure plate 6 and provides axial damping.
Radial and circumferential restraint is carried out between the pressure plate 6 and the bearing seat 2 through locating pins, tooth grooves or other structures, and a boss 61 of the pressure plate 6 provides certain concentric positioning for the disc spring 3.
The pretightening force of the disc spring on the protection bearing can be adjusted by changing the thickness of the adjusting pad.
When the magnetic bearing falls, the radial elastic ring is elastically deformed, and impact load is absorbed. When the elastic deformation is greater than the radial gap 11, the bearing housing 2 is in rigid contact with the bearing housing 1.

The elastic damping protection bearing of the magnetic suspension bearing is characterized by comprising a supporting seat, a bearing seat, a disc spring, a sealing cover, an adjusting ring, a pressure plate, a radial elastic ring and a protection bearing; the radial direction of the protective bearing seat is tightly pressed with the bearing seat through a sealing ring or other elastic elements, the elastic damping support is axially provided through a disc spring, and the radial deformation and axial displacement of the bearing seat outer ring are rigidly limited through a tooth-shaped structure; the disc spring is axially preloaded through the sealing cover.
