The specific gesture in the embodiment of the application may be any one of a single-click gesture, a sliding gesture, a dragging gesture, a pressure recognition gesture, a long-press gesture, an area change gesture, a double-press gesture and a double-click gesture; the click input in the embodiment of the application may be single click input, double click input, or any number of click inputs, and may also be long press input or short press input. For example, the second input may include a drag input that drags at least two application association identifications to a target location of the external screen and a click input to a third control.
Step A2: in response to the second input, a new combined identity is generated based on the at least two application association identities.
For example, as shown in fig. 4, the third control may be a save control 403 displayed in the external screen interface 300, and when the user drags the camera application icon 405 and the phone application icon 406 to the second area 3012 and clicks the save control 403, a combination identifier 407 composed of the camera application icon 405 and the phone application icon 406 may be generated and displayed in the first area 3011 of the external screen interface 300, as shown in fig. 5.

For some application functional parameters, a user may need to set different settings according to each usage scenario, for example, in different shooting scenarios, the shooting parameters of the camera application need to be adaptively adjusted, which is complex to operate. In the embodiment of the application, the parameter identifier can be generated for some functional parameters of the application and displayed on an external screen of the electronic device.
After the first input operation is performed on the first application icon and the corresponding first parameter identifier in the external screen, under the condition that the internal screen is switched from the folded state to the unfolded state, not only can the second application interface of the first application corresponding to the first application icon be opened, but also the parameter of the target function in the first application can be set as the parameter corresponding to the first parameter identifier, so that the operation of manually adjusting the function parameter by a user each time is omitted.
For example, as shown in fig. 8, a camera application icon 405 is displayed in the first region 3011 of the external screen interface 300, and a shooting parameter identification A, B, C is displayed in the third region 3013 of the external screen. When the user wants to photograph photographing parameters corresponding to the photographing parameter identification a through the camera application while the external screen is in the folded state, the camera application icon 405 and the photographing parameter identification a may be dragged to the second area 2012 in a direction indicated by a dotted arrow. After dragging is completed, the camera application corresponding to the camera application icon 405 can be started by opening the inner screen, an image shooting interface of the camera application is displayed on the inner screen, shooting parameters of the camera application are set as shooting parameters corresponding to the shooting parameter identification A, setting operation of the shooting parameters is omitted, and shooting efficiency is improved.
The specific parameter types corresponding to different parameter identifiers of the same application can be the same or different, for example, two parameter identifiers are displayed in the external screen, and are respectively two shooting parameter identifiers, wherein shooting parameters corresponding to one shooting parameter identifier are exposure parameters and filter parameters, shooting parameters corresponding to the other shooting parameter identifier can be noise reduction parameters and skin grinding parameters, parameters corresponding to the previous shooting parameter identifier are different, or the parameters corresponding to the previous shooting parameter identifier are the same as the parameters corresponding to the previous shooting parameter identifier, and only specific parameter values are different.

In the embodiment of the application, the contact person identifier can be generated and displayed on the external screen of the electronic device for the contact person in the application. After the first input operation is performed on the second application icon and the first contact identifier in the outer screen, under the condition that the inner screen is switched from the folded state to the unfolded state, not only can the second application be started, but also the voice call of the contact corresponding to the first contact identifier can be initiated through the second application, and the voice call interface is displayed on the inner screen, so that the voice call operation with the contact is facilitated.
For example, as shown in fig. 11, a phone application icon 406 is displayed in the first area 3011 of the external screen interface 300, and contact identifiers I, II, III are displayed in the fourth area 3014 of the external screen. When the external screen is in a folded state and the user wants to make a voice call with the contact corresponding to the contact identifier I through the phone application, the phone application identifier 406 and the contact identifier I may be dragged to the second area 3012 according to the direction indicated by the dotted arrow. After dragging is completed, the inner screen is opened to start the telephone application corresponding to the telephone application icon, and the voice call interface of the contact corresponding to the contact identifier I is displayed on the inner screen.
Optionally, in step 101: before receiving the first input of the user to the external screen, the interface display method may further include:

In this embodiment, the setting of the contact identifier may be performed through the third adding control 903 shown in fig. 9. The video call interface specifically refers to a video call interface. The video images in the video call interface include images captured by the camera application. When the external screen is in a folded state and the user wants to make a video call with the contact corresponding to the contact identifier II through the phone application, the camera application icon 405, the phone application identifier 406 and the contact identifier II can be dragged to the second area 3012 according to the direction indicated by the dotted arrow. After dragging is completed, the inner screen is opened to start the telephone application corresponding to the telephone application icon, a video call interface of the contact corresponding to the contact identifier II is displayed on the inner screen, and a local video image acquired by the camera application is displayed on the video call interface.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, the user may further perform a first input operation on the photographing parameter identifier, that is, the at least one target identifier may include, in addition to the third application icon, the camera application icon, and the second contact identifier of the third application supporting the video call function, the photographing parameter identifier, or the target identifier may be a combined identifier obtained by combining the third application icon, the camera application icon, the photographing parameter identifier, and the second contact identifier, so that in the video call process, the camera application may perform image processing with the photographing parameter corresponding to the photographing parameter identifier, so that the user obtains a more satisfactory video image.

In the embodiment of the application, the message identifier can be generated and displayed in the external screen of the electronic device for the application message. After the first input operation is carried out on the message identification in the outer screen, under the condition that the inner screen is switched from the folding state to the unfolding state, the target application and the application message corresponding to the message identification can be determined, then the corresponding application is started, and the message display interface comprising the application message corresponding to the message identification is displayed on the inner screen, so that the user can conveniently view the application message.
For example, as shown in fig. 13, three application message identifications, namely, a message 1 identification, a message 2 identification, and a message 3 identification, are displayed in the fifth area 3015 of the external screen interface 300. In this embodiment of the present application, the identified display area in the external screen may not only be limited to the displayed portion, but may also include a hidden portion, for which a scroll bar shown in the control 204 may be displayed, for example, for the external screen interface shown in fig. 12, the fifth area 3015 may be displayed by dragging the scroll bar 204 downward, so that the display effect of the fifth area 3015 is shown in fig. 13.
As shown in fig. 13, when the user wants to view message 1, then the message 1 identity may be dragged to the fourth area 3014 in the direction indicated by the dashed arrow. After dragging is completed, the inner screen is opened to start the application corresponding to the message 1 identifier, and a message display interface of the application is displayed on the inner screen to display the message 1.
Alternatively, the user may also directly view the application message on the external screen and reply, and if long press message 1 indicates, then display the message display window 205, as shown in fig. 14. In this window 205 specific message content can be viewed and message replies can be made. The desire to exit the window 205 may click on an "exit" control in the window 205, or click on any area outside of the window 205.
Optionally, in step 101: before receiving the first input of the user to the external screen, the interface display method may further include:

In the embodiment of the application, the electronic device may automatically generate a message identifier and display the message identifier in the external screen when receiving the application message of the target application. In summary, in the embodiment of the present application, the application association identifier may be preset in the external screen, and by operating the application association identifier in the external screen, the application processing operation corresponding to the target identifier may be directly executed when the internal screen is opened, that is, when the internal screen is switched from the folded state to the unfolded state.
According to the interface display method provided by the embodiment of the application, the execution subject can be an interface display device. In the embodiment of the present application, an interface display device provided in the embodiment of the present application is described by taking an example of an interface display method performed by the interface display device.

Other input devices 17072 may include, but are not limited to, a physical keyboard, function keys (e.g., volume control keys, switch keys, etc.), a trackball, a mouse, a joystick, and so forth, which are not described in detail herein.
The memory 1709 may be used for storing software programs as well as various data. The memory 1709 may mainly include a first storage area storing programs or instructions and a second storage area storing data, wherein the first storage area may store an operating system, application programs or instructions (such as a sound playing function, an image playing function, etc.) required for at least one function, and the like. Further, the memory 1709 may include volatile memory or nonvolatile memory, or the memory 1709 may include both volatile and nonvolatile memory. The nonvolatile memory may be a ROM, a Programmable ROM (PROM), an Erasable Programmable EPROM (EPROM), an Electrically Erasable EPROM (EEPROM), or a flash memory. The volatile memory may be RAM, static RAM (SRAM), dynamic RAM (DRAM), synchronous DRAM (SDRAM), double Data Rate SDRAM (ddr SDRAM), enhanced SDRAM (ESDRAM), synchronous DRAM (Synchronous link DRAM) and Direct memory bus RAM (DRAM). Memory 1709 in embodiments of the present application includes, but is not limited to, these and any other suitable types of memory.
Processor 1710 can include one or more processing units; optionally, the processor 1710 integrates an application processor that primarily handles operations related to the operating system, user interface, and applications, etc., and a modem processor that primarily handles wireless communication signals, such as a baseband processor. It will be appreciated that the modem processor described above may not be integrated into the processor 1710.

displaying a target interface on the inner screen when the inner screen is switched from a folded state to an unfolded state; the target interface has an association relationship with a target object corresponding to the at least one target identifier.
2. The interface display method of claim 1, wherein the at least one target identifier comprises at least one of: application icons, parameter identifiers, contact person identifiers, message identifiers and combination identifiers;
the combination identifier is obtained by combining at least two application icons or at least two of an application icon, a parameter identifier, a contact identifier and a message identifier.
