Referring to fig. 1 and 2, a label printer 100 for preventing paper jam according to the present embodiment includes:
a printer main body 102;
a printer cover 101 which is openably and closably mounted on the printer body 102, wherein a printing paper feeding path 400 and a paper outlet 600 communicating with the printing paper feeding path 400 are formed between the printer cover 101 and the printer body 102 when they are in a closed state;
and a cutter assembly reciprocally disposed on the printer cover 101 for cutting the printing paper 300 in the printing paper feeding path 400;
the printing paper feeding channel 400 comprises a first paper feeding channel 401 positioned between one side of the cutter assembly and the paper outlet 600, and a second paper feeding channel 402 positioned on the other side of the cutter assembly, wherein the paper feeding bottom wall of the second paper feeding channel 402 near one end of the cutter assembly is higher than the paper feeding bottom wall of the first paper feeding channel 401 near one end of the cutter assembly.
Because the bottom wall of the paper feeding in the existing paper feeding channel 400 is at the same horizontal plane, the heights of the two side walls of the cutter groove opposite to the cutter of the cutter assembly are the same, when the cutter of the cutter assembly cuts the paper, the paper at the notch can be brought into the cutter groove by the cutter and is not easy to break out, so that paper jam is caused. The printing paper feeding channel 400 of this embodiment forms the cutter slot with unequal heights of the two side walls by setting the first paper feeding channel and the second paper feeding channel with unequal heights, so that when the cutter of the cutter assembly performs the paper cutting operation again, the cutter may still insert the printing paper into the cutter slot, but because the heights of the two side walls of the cutter slot are unequal, the side wall close to the low side of the height is not blocked and limited when the characteristics of the printing paper in the cutter slot are restored to deform, thereby greatly improving the possibility of restoring deformation and coming out of the printing paper.
Therefore, the design of the first paper feeding channel and the second paper feeding channel with different horizontal heights of the label printer changes the structure of the existing cutter groove, so that printing paper is not easy to be clamped in the cutter groove when the cutter assembly performs paper cutting operation, and the problem of paper jam of the label printer caused by the paper cutting operation is greatly improved.
