Description

Method and device for decentralized domain name resolution based on Handle system
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of computers, in particular to a method and a device for decentralizing domain name resolution based on a Handle system.
Background
Currently, the name space structure, the domain name distribution and the resolution process of the domain name system are strictly layered, and the root resolution system is a domain name resolution starting point and a system structure center and mainly comprises a root zone data management system for managing and maintaining top-level domain name information and a root server system for providing resolution service.
The Handle System uses a Handle as a unique identifier of the digital object, so as to provide services such as permanent identification, dynamic analysis, security management and the like for the digital object. Handle System has been deployed on the Internet for over 20 years as a generic name service System, with over 10 hundred million identifiers currently registered and managed.
Each Handle has its own namespace. One Handle is made up of two parts: naming authority, referred to as prefix, and the unique local name under that naming authority, referred to as suffix. Naming authority and local names are partitioned by ASCII character "/". Thus, a handle may be defined as follows:
<Handle>::=<Handle Naming Authority>“/”<Handle Local Name>。
all local names under the naming authority form the local Handle namespace under the naming authority. For example, "10.1045/january99-bearman" is Handle of a article of the journal D-Lib. The naming authority of the Handle is "10.1045" and the "january99-bearman" is the local name. At present, root zone data management is mainly responsible by an internet name and digital address distribution organization (ICANN) and related companies thereof, so that problems of unilateral management and the like exist, and meanwhile, 13 root servers and mirror servers thereof are responsible for running by 12 organizations, so that problems of management sealing and the like exist. However, the centralized structure of the traditional domain name system easily causes serious dependence on a root domain name server, when data is concentrated in a certain organization to be managed, data errors or intentional falsification or deletion by people may be caused due to misoperation, and finally, the data errors of the root area of the whole domain name system (DNS system) are caused, so that large-area network disconnection is caused, or the Internet in a certain area cannot be accessed, and the domain name system is fragile.

Detailed Description
For the purpose of making the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the technical solutions of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings, and it is apparent that the described embodiments are some embodiments of the present invention, not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be made by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments of the invention without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the invention.
The following describes a method for decentralized domain name resolution based on Handle system according to the present invention with reference to fig. 1, which comprises:
s1, acquiring root zone data of a domain name system based on a domain name multi-center root system of a preset Handle system. Meanwhile, the recursion domain name resolution service caches the acquired domain name system root zone data for the subsequent domain name recursion resolution process.
Specifically, there are two ways to obtain the root zone data of the Domain Name System (DNS). First kind: and acquiring domain name root zone data by triggering a Handle query service agent through query based on a domain name multi-center root system of a preset Handle system. For example, the client queries the record A (A: IPv4 address) corresponding to the domain name "www.12306.cn", the recursion server receives the query and firstly obtains the domain name information of the top-level domain name CN from the Handle query service agent, and the Handle query service agent queries the Handle value of the Handle identifier "86.111/CN" and other relevant identification information and returns the Handle value and other relevant identification information to the recursion server, and the recursion server continues to perform domain name recursion query.
Secondly, based on a domain name multi-center root system of a preset Handle system, a Handle query service agent sequentially queries top-level domain name information from the Handle system to form new root zone data, and a local root zone authoritative service is created according to the new root zone data to obtain domain name system root zone data.
For example: the Handle query service agent may initiate a Handle query to 86.111 (cn) to obtain DNS data for cn. Meanwhile, the Handle query service agent can also initiate Handle query to 77.111 (ru) to acquire DNS data of the ru, and so on, acquire all DNS top-level domain data to form new root zone data, and finally create local root zone authoritative service according to the new root zone data to acquire domain name system root zone data.
S2, receiving domain name inquiry input by a user. Specifically, a client domain name query is received via a recursive domain name resolution service. For example: the client queries the a record for domain name "www.cnnic.cn".
And S3, obtaining top-grade domain name information corresponding to the domain name to be queried according to the root zone data of the domain name system. For example: the client queries the A record of the domain name 'www.cnnic.cn', and the home domain name resolution service obtains authority service information 'a.dns. Cn.172800IN A203.119.25.1' of the top-level domain name CN from the cached root zone data.
Meanwhile, the recursive domain name resolution service judges whether the minimum Time To Live (TTL) of the top-level domain name information is out of date, and if so, S2 is executed to acquire the latest domain name system root zone data. In this embodiment, the minimum lifetime is 50.
For example: the domain name a.dns.cn. There are two a records as follows:
(1):a.dns.cn.100IN A 203.119.25.1。
(2):a.dns.cn.50IN A 203.119.25.1。
namely (1) and (2), the time-to-live TTL of both records is 100, 50. S4, obtaining all levels of domain name information according to the top-level domain name information. Specifically, the recursive domain name resolution service obtains domain name information from the top-level domain name authority service and other levels of authority resolution services. For example: the client side inquires the A record of the domain name 'www.cnnic.cn', and the recursion resolution service obtains domain name information 'cnnic.cn.600IN A159.226.6.133' of the next-stage authority resolution service 'cnnic.cn' from the top-stage domain authority service 'cn' (the IP address obtained in the step S4: 203.119.25.1).
And S6, sending domain name inquiry to the obtained authority resolution service address of the last-stage domain name information to obtain a final domain name resolution result. For example: the client queries the A record of the domain name "www.cnnic.cn", and the recursion resolution service sends a domain name request to the authority resolution service "cnnic. Cn" (IP address obtained in step S6: 159.226.6.133), and obtains the final domain name resolution result.
In this embodiment, after the step of sending the domain name query to the address of the obtained last-stage authority resolution service information to obtain the final domain name resolution result, the method further includes:
and sending out a response of the final domain name resolution result. Specifically, a response of the final domain name resolution result is sent out through the recursion resolution service.
After responding, if the domain name resolution service is needed to be continuously carried out, the recursive domain name resolution service continuously receives the domain name query. After the response, the recursive domain name resolution service judges whether to continuously perform domain name resolution service, if yes, domain name inquiry of the client is continuously received; if not, the recursive resolution service is exited.
Referring to fig. 4, the domain name multi-center root system based on the preset Handle system is based on each root node in the Handle system to obtain each Handle top domain name node, where the Handle top domain name nodes are independent of each other and are mirror images of each other.
The Handle technology adopted by the invention has two obvious characteristics: first, the Handle system is used on the basis that complete root nodes are required to be set in all places of the world, and the root nodes are mutually independent and mirror images to form a multi-center root node architecture of the Handle system. Secondly, the Handle is provided with a part of coding functions capable of being autonomously defined, and a user can set part of contents in an original coding system to be autonomously defined according to own ideas and demands, so that the Handle technology is more flexible in the use process. The multi-center management and flexible coding functions of the Handle system provide a new technical means for the decentralization realization of the domain name system.
The method comprises the steps of providing top-level domain name information resolution for a domain name system through a domain name multi-center root system based on a preset Handle system, so that a multi-center domain name service system is constructed to provide domain name resolution service for global users. Meanwhile, the multi-center Handle top-level domain name node replaces the original centralized domain name root system to provide root area data management and analysis service for the domain name service, and stability of the domain name system service is improved. And the mode that the root zone data of the traditional domain name system is uniformly managed by a central node is changed, the decentralization of the domain name system is realized, and the problems of unilateral problem, closed management and the like of the domain name system are solved.
Specifically, based on the domain name system of the preset Handle system, the default Handle system 111 is a Handle top-level domain name node, that is, < Handle Naming Authority > of the top-level domain name in the Handle system is < root node.111 >; a multi-center domain name resolution root service is formed by a plurality of Handle top-level domain name nodes. Taking the top-level domain name CN as an example, 86.111 is Handle identification authority service of the top-level domain name CN.
In this embodiment, the domain name multi-center root system based on the preset Handle system is based on each root node in the Handle system, where each root node is independent of each other and is a mirror image, and the specific construction steps include:
registering a Handle top-level domain name node with each root node in the Handle system. For example: the top-level domain name owner registers a Handle top-level domain name node 86.111 with the Handle chinese root node.
And configuring the root zone data of the domain name system according to the Handle top-level domain name node. Specifically, the top-level domain name owner builds a Handle top-level domain name node and configures Handle domain name system root zone data of the top-level domain name. For example: the top-level domain name node CN configures Handle identifier "86.111/CN" value dns.ns type record and related identifier "86.111/a.dns.cn" value dns.a type record.
The Handle top-level domain name node receives the top-level domain name information inquiry and responds accordingly to provide domain name system root zone data service for the whole network. For example: the Handle top-level domain name node receives the information inquiry related to the top-level domain name CN and provides the information service of the top-level domain name CN.
The top-level domain name information stored in the Handle identification authority service (Handle top-level domain name node) to which the top-level domain name belongs may follow the following rule.
1) The resource record for the top-level domain name may be mapped to a Handle value and associated local identification value for the Handle identification "root node.111/top-level domain name". And the Handle identifier of the domain name information of the top-level domain name CN in the Handle top-level domain name node to which the domain name information belongs. The Handle identifier "86.111/CN" has several DNS.NS type Handle values (e.g., a.dns. CN); the Handle identifier "86.111/A.DNS.CN" has several DNS.A type Handle values (e.g., 203.119.25.1).
2) The Handle top-level domain name node associates identification information of other Handle top-level domain name nodes. The Handle identifier "Handle top domain name node/other top domain name" has a Handle identifier value "Handle top domain name node/top domain name" of an ALIAS (hs_alias) type. The Handle identification authority service (86.111) to which the top-level domain name CN belongs contains other top-level domain node information (77.111/RU). The purpose of this is to create a local identity "86.111/RU" that contains the hs_alias type Handle value and points to the Handle identity "77.111/RU". Based on the design, the Handle inquiry of the information of the top-level domain name RU of the Handle identification authority service which the top-level domain name CN belongs to can be guided to the Handle identification authority service (77.111) which the top-level domain name RU belongs to.
Meanwhile, in the step of acquiring the root zone data of the domain name system by the recursive domain name resolution service, the domain name multi-center root system based on the preset Handle system further comprises a operation and maintenance management step of a top-level domain name node, and the operation and maintenance management step comprises the following steps:
step one, the hosting server creates Handle resource information mapped by the top-level domain name. Specifically, negotiating with the hosting server, and creating Handle resource information mapped by the top-level domain name. Taking the example that the UK is hosted on a Handle top-level domain name node CN, the domain name information is mapped into Handle resource information {86.111/UK DNS.NS nsa.uk. }, and the like. On the basis of not modifying the Handle protocol and the DNS protocol, the technical characteristics of two identification resolution systems are compatible, the mapping design from domain name data to Handle data information is realized, and a novel domain name resolution system with multiple identification systems integrated is created.
And secondly, applying for management identity and management authority of the Handle identifier to the hosting server. Specifically, the host applies for the management identity and management authority (adding, deleting, modifying, querying, etc.) of the related Handle identifier to the host server.
And thirdly, hosting the Handle top-level domain name node by utilizing a Handle resource information management protocol after authentication of management identity and verification of management authority. Specifically, the host manages the Handle resource record information containing domain name information through the identity authentication and authority verification of the Handle resource information management protocol. The encryption mechanism of the Handle protocol can also ensure the privacy and the integrity of management information. The creation, management and operation of the top-level domain name full data (top-level domain name root zone data and top-level domain name authority data) are realized as a new mode which is autonomously controllable by an owner.
And decoupling of data management and operation and maintenance is realized through identity verification and authority control. The limitation of traditional domain name system root zone data management is broken, and complicated operation and maintenance activities can be hosted to a third party while the management right of the data is owned.
The method for performing the decentralized domain name resolution on the basis of the Handle system is described below, and the decentralized domain name resolution system on the basis of the Handle system described below and the decentralized domain name resolution method on the basis of the Handle system described above can be referred to correspondingly.
