Description

Oil supply system of marine diesel engine oil pan, diesel engine and method
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of diesel engines, in particular to an engine oil supply system of an engine oil pan of a marine diesel engine, a diesel engine and a method.
Background
The larger the ship such as fishing boat, engineering boat, etc. is made at present, the larger the power requirement on the diesel engine is. However, due to the tonnage limit of the ship, special requirements are imposed on the space size of the diesel engine, and the height size cannot be exceeded.
Wet oil pans are a common way of storing oil, typically by providing a reservoir at the bottom of the diesel engine for storing all the oil needed to lubricate the diesel engine. In a wet lubrication system, only one oil pump is provided. The oil pump sucks oil from the bottom of the oil pan and then pumps the oil to the parts of the diesel engine that need lubrication. The lubricated oil drops naturally flow back to the bottom of the diesel engine sump. Due to the self structural limitation of the wet oil pan, the diesel engine adopting the structure is high in gravity center, and the requirement of the ship on the height of the diesel engine is difficult to meet.
Compared with a wet oil pan, the dry oil pan lubrication system needs to add an additional oil pump and an additional oil tank, and the height of the diesel engine is reduced due to the fact that the oil pan at the lower end of the diesel engine only stores a small amount of engine oil (or almost no engine oil exists). The oil pump is used for pumping oil in the oil pan into the oil storage tank, and the oil pump is used for pumping the oil in the oil storage tank into the diesel engine for lubrication. The flow rate of the engine oil pumped by the engine oil pump is changed, and the engine oil flowing into the oil pan after lubrication is more and less, so that the pumping capacity of the oil pump is designed according to the maximum flow rate of the engine oil flowing into the oil pan in order to ensure that the oil pan is oilless or less.
However, when the flow of the engine oil flowing into the oil pan after lubrication is at a lower level, the pumping capacity of the oil pump is not changed, so that the oil pump is in an oil-deficient state, and the damage of the oil pump is easy to cause.

The oil pan 4 is installed at the bottom surface of the diesel engine body, and is used for collecting the engine oil for lubricating each component and storing a set amount of engine oil. A certain amount of engine oil is always kept in the oil pan, and the phenomenon of oil shortage of the oil pump 1 can be reduced.
The oil pump 2 and the oil well pump 1 are both arranged on the diesel engine and driven by the crankshaft main gear 3 of the diesel engine, meanwhile, the rated flow of the oil well pump 1 is larger than that of the oil pump 2, the synchronization and the pump difference of the two pumps can be guaranteed to the greatest extent, the pump quantity of the oil well pump is always larger than that of the oil pump in the range of the rated rotating speed and the full working condition of partial rotating speed of the diesel engine, and redundant engine oil in the oil tank flows back to the oil pan through an overflow pipeline, so that the whole engine oil system is balanced.
It will be appreciated that the oil pan 4 in this embodiment is slightly larger in oil than in a conventional dry oil pan, but still is small relative to a wet oil pan, by virtue of the overhead tank and the overflow action. The diesel engine lubricating oil system can meet the requirements of the diesel engine lubricating oil system under the working conditions of ship rolling, pitching, rolling and pitching, reduces the height of the diesel engine, meets the requirements of cabin space, and improves the installation adaptability and the operation reliability of the diesel engine.

The opening of the butterfly valve 9 at the outlet of the oil tank is regulated when the diesel engine is actually used for debugging, so that the pump quantity of the oil pump is always larger than the oil pump in the full working condition range of the rated rotating speed and the partial rotating speed of the diesel engine. The pipe diameter d1 of the oil pump connecting oil return pipeline 8, the pipe diameter d2 of the oil pump connecting oil inlet pipeline 7 and the pipe diameter d3 of the overflow pipeline 6 are determined according to the pumping capacity of the oil pump.
The set liquid level in the oil tank 5 is equal to the oil inlet of the overflow pipeline 6, so that the excessive engine oil in the oil tank 5 can timely flow back to the oil pan 4 through the overflow pipeline 6. In this embodiment, the overflow line 6 leads from the bottom of the tank 5.
