Background
At present, an oily rubber adhesive is generally coated on a PVC adhesive tape, in order to dissolve and mix solid raw materials (resin, rubber and the like), an organic solvent such as toluene, xylene and the like is used in the production of the adhesive, and the weight ratio of the organic solvent can reach 80%. However, the PVC adhesive tape for the automobile wire harness has the requirement on the air quality of the whole automobile in the automobile industry, and if the oily adhesive is used in the production process of the adhesive tape, the VOC content of the adhesive tape exceeds the control standard of the whole automobile. In order to reduce the VOC residual amount, one of the solutions is to replace the raw materials (resin, rubber, etc.) dissolved in the adhesive using an organic solvent with an emulsion-type material using water as a solvent.
