Detailed Description
The following description of the embodiments of the present application will be made clearly and fully with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which it is evident that the embodiments described are only some, but not all, of the embodiments of the present application. All other embodiments, which can be made by one of ordinary skill in the art without undue burden from the present disclosure, are within the scope of the present disclosure.
The present application provides a set-top box control scheme, and a main body related to the set-top box control scheme of the present application may be shown with reference to fig. 1, including: a set top box 10, a router 11, a television 12 and a remote control terminal 13.
The set top box 10 is connected with the router 11, the set top box 10 is also connected with the television 12, and the router 11 is connected with the television 12.
The set top box 10 may be a network set top box, an operator set top box, or other type of set top box, primarily as a signal source for providing content resources for a television set. The set top box and the television can be connected through various communication interfaces, such as an HDMI interface, a DP interface and the like.
The router 11 may be a wireless router, and may be connected to the television 12 through WIFI or may be connected to the television 12 through a network cable.
The router 11 and the set-top box 10 are separately arranged, and can be connected through the Ethernet. In addition, the router 11 may be integrated in the set-top box 10, that is, the set-top box 10 with the router function is adopted, and both the two modes are available.
The television 12 may be a terminal capable of providing audio/video playing functions, and may have content resources, such as an existing internet television, etc., and a large number of multimedia resources, and may use multimedia resources of the system as a source. In addition, the television 12 may also play based on multimedia content provided by a third party source, such as an external set-top box, a game console, etc.
The remote control terminal 13 may be a dedicated remote controller matched with the television 12, or may be a universal remote controller or other intelligent terminals with functions of simulating remote controllers, such as a smart phone, a tablet, etc., which can simulate the functions of the remote controller through the self-supported infrared function and bluetooth function, so as to realize the control function of the television 12. In the present application, all devices having a remote control function for the television 12 (i.e., devices capable of receiving and recognizing a transmitted control command by the television 12) may be collectively referred to as a remote control terminal 13. In addition, the remote control terminal 13 may send the control command in an infrared mode, or may send the control command in a bluetooth signal mode or other modes, so as to ensure that the television 12 can recognize.
The remote control terminal 13 may send control instructions to the television 12 in response to user operations. For example, the user triggers an entity key or a virtual key on the remote control terminal 13, and the remote control terminal 13 sends a control instruction corresponding to the key triggered by the user to the television 12. Alternatively, the user may input a control command in the form of voice through a voice input function supported by the remote control terminal 13, and then transmit the control command to the television 12 via the remote control terminal 13.
After the television 12 is turned on, different sources can be played, when the set top box 10 is switched to the source of the set top box 10, if a user wants to control the set top box 10, the corresponding control instruction can be sent to the television 12 through the remote control terminal 13, and when the control instruction for controlling the set top box 10 sent by the remote control terminal 13 is received in the state of playing the source of the set top box 10, the television 12 forwards the control instruction to the set top box 10 through the router 11.
The set top box 10 executes the matching operation of the control instruction after receiving the control instruction forwarded by the router 11, for example, when the control instruction is a channel switching operation, the set top box 10 may execute the channel switching operation.
In the set top box control system provided by the embodiment of the application, the set top box is respectively connected with the router and the television, the router is connected with the television, and for the television, after receiving the control instruction for controlling the set top box sent by the remote control terminal in the state that the television plays as the set top box information source, the control instruction can be forwarded to the set top box through the router, so that the set top box can conveniently execute operations matched with the control instruction, such as channel switching, volume adjustment and the like. Obviously, in the scheme provided by the application, the forwarding of the control instruction sent by the remote control terminal can be realized by means of the communication link between the television, the router and the set top box, namely, if a user wants to realize the control of the set top box in the state of playing the set top box information source of the television, the control instruction can be directly issued to the television through the remote control terminal, the television forwards the control instruction to the set top box so as to enable the set top box to respond, the user does not need to switch a special remote controller for using the set top box in the whole process, the operation is smoother, and the use convenience of the user is improved.
Further, the television may select different sources to play, if the television plays a source other than the set-top box, for example, a source of the television system is played, or an external game machine or other source devices are played, then the user expects to realize a control function of the television through the remote control terminal. Therefore, in this embodiment, the operation of matching the control instruction may be performed after receiving the control instruction for controlling the television sent by the remote control terminal in a state where the television plays as a non-set top box source.
For example, when the television plays a source of the system, the pop-up source switching interface can be controlled when receiving a source switching instruction sent by the remote control terminal, or when receiving a machine setting instruction sent by the remote control terminal, the pop-up setting interface can be controlled to include parameter setting options such as screen brightness, color saturation, contrast, resolution and the like.
In connection with fig. 2, a signaling diagram of a set-top box control method is illustrated.
As shown in fig. 2, the set-top box control method may include:
step S10, the remote control terminal 13 transmits a control command to the television 12.
Step S11, the television 12 judges whether the current playing is the set top box information source, if yes, the step S12 is executed, and if no, the step S13 is executed.
Specifically, if the television is not currently playing, it indicates that the control instruction is for controlling the television, so step S13 may be directly performed.
Step S12, the television 12 judges whether the control instruction is used for controlling the set top box, if not, the step S13 is executed, and if yes, the step S14 is executed.
Specifically, in a state where the television 12 plays the set-top box source, the control command issued by the user through the remote control terminal 13 may be a desire to control the set-top box 10, or may be a desire to control the television 12. For this purpose, the television 12 may determine whether the control command is for controlling the set-top box, if yes, execute step S14 to forward the control command, and if not, indicate that the control command is for controlling the television, so the following step S13 may be executed.
Step S13, the television 12 executes the matching operation of the control command.
In step S14, the television 12 transmits a control instruction to the router 11.
In step S15, the router 11 forwards the control instruction to the set top box 10.
Step S16, the set top box 10 executes the control instruction matching operation.
The set top box control method provided by the embodiment considers whether the current playing of the television is the set top box information source or not and whether the received control instruction is used for controlling the set top box or not, so that different conditions are distinguished, the control of the television or the set top box is realized, and different requirements of users in different scenes are better adapted.
In some embodiments of the present application, the process of identifying a control instruction sent by a received remote control terminal in a state that a television plays as a set top box signal source to determine the type of the control instruction is described.
The foregoing embodiments have described that in a state where a television is playing as a set-top box source, a user may have different control requirements, such as controlling only the set-top box, controlling only the television, and controlling three different types of control requirements of both the set-top box and the television. In order to better adapt to the needs of the user, a solution is provided in this embodiment.
And in a state of being played by the television and being a set top box information source, determining the type of the control instruction after receiving the control instruction sent by the remote control terminal.
According to the method and the device, all control instructions which can be sent by the remote control terminal can be summarized in advance, different control instructions are classified according to different control objects, a control instruction classification table is obtained, the table is divided into three types, and the three types are sequentially:
the first setting type indicates that the control instruction is for controlling the set-top box. The control instructions of the first setting type may include instructions related to the set-top box function, such as channel switch instructions, up-down-left-right switch instructions, "ok", "return" control instructions, control instructions corresponding to the number keys 0-9, and so forth.
A second setting type, indicating that the control instruction is for controlling the television. The second setting type of control instruction may include an instruction related to a television parameter setting and a source switching instruction, for example: and (3) turning on and off the machine control instruction, returning to a homepage control instruction, setting parameters such as television brightness, color saturation and the like, and switching information sources.
And a third setting type indicating that the control instruction is used for controlling the set top box and the television simultaneously. The third setting type of control instruction may include an instruction related to volume adjustment. For example, a volume up/down command, a mute command. It will be appreciated that when the user wants to adjust the volume, the user does not essentially distinguish between the volume adjustment to the television or to the set-top box, and only the volume of the audio finally output reaches the user's expectations, so that the command related to the volume adjustment can be defined as a control command of a third setting type, so that the subsequent television and the set-top box both execute the operation of matching the control command.
Based on the three types of control instructions divided in advance, when the control instruction sent by the remote control terminal is received in a state that the television plays as a set top box information source, the type of the control instruction can be determined first, if the control instruction belongs to a first set type, the control instruction is indicated to be used for controlling the set top box, the operation of forwarding to the set top box can be executed subsequently, and the television does not execute the operation matched with the control instruction.
Further, if the type of the control instruction is determined to be the second setting type, the control instruction is indicated to be used for controlling the television, so that the television can execute the matching operation of the control instruction without forwarding the control instruction to the set top box.
Still further, if the type of the control instruction is determined to be the third setting type, it indicates that the control instruction is used for controlling the television and the set-top box at the same time, so the television may perform the following two processing steps respectively:
s1, forwarding a control instruction to the set top box through a router so that the set top box can execute the control instruction matching operation.
S2, the television executes the operation of matching the control instructions.
Of course, the above two processing steps S1 and S2 are not strictly limited in order, and may be executed separately.
Next, referring to fig. 3, this embodiment provides an optional flow of a set-top box control method, and the method introduces a set-top box control logic from the perspective of a television, which specifically may include the following processing steps:
step S100, receiving a control instruction sent by a remote control terminal.
Step S110, determining whether the television is currently played as a set top box source, if yes, executing step S120, and if not, executing step S130.
Step S120, determining the type of the control instruction, if the control instruction belongs to the first setting type, executing step S140, if the control instruction belongs to the second setting type, executing step S130, and if the control instruction belongs to the third setting type, executing step S130 and step S140 simultaneously.
The meaning of the control command of the first setting type, the second setting type and the third setting type can be described with reference to the foregoing.
Step S130, executing the control instruction matching operation.
And step 140, forwarding the control instruction to the set top box through a router.
In the scheme provided in this embodiment, all control instructions that can be sent by the remote control terminal may be divided into three setting types in advance, and the three setting types correspond to different control objects respectively, that is: control only the set-top box, control only the television, control both the set-top box and the television. Of course, the type division of the control instruction only aims at the state that the television is in the set top box information source playing state, and the received control instruction can default to control the television when the television is in the non-set top box information source playing state.
On the basis, the television can determine the type of the received control instruction sent by the remote control terminal when the television is in the state of playing the information source of the set top box, and execute different processing logics according to the different types, thereby meeting different control requirements of users.
It should be noted that, in the above description of the types of the control instructions, only the three setting types are described as examples, and those skilled in the art may also have other classification manners based on the present concept, for example, only the first setting type and the second setting type are described, which is not exhaustive in this embodiment.
Considering that the remote control terminal is matched with the television, in some situations, the control functions corresponding to the control instructions sent by the remote control terminal on the television and the set top box may be the same, such as "confirm", "return", "up, down, left and right", and the like. In this case, in a state that the television is playing as the set top box information source, after receiving the control instruction for controlling the set top box sent by the remote control terminal, the television can directly forward the control instruction to the set top box through the router.
In other situations, the control instruction sent by the remote control terminal may have a difference between corresponding control functions on the television and the set-top box, for example, a "power-off" instruction sent by the remote control terminal, where the control function on the television is to control to turn off the power supply of the television, and the control function on the set-top box is to control to turn off the power supply of the set-top box. Therefore, the mapping relation between each control instruction sent by the remote control terminal and the control instruction of the set top box can be preset, and the control instruction of the set top box corresponding to one control instruction sent by the remote control terminal is the control instruction which can be identified by the set top box which expects to realize the set function through the control instruction sent by the remote control terminal.
Based on the mapping relation, in the state that the television is playing as the set top box information source, after receiving the control instruction for controlling the set top box sent by the remote control terminal, the mapping relation can be queried first to determine the target set top box control instruction corresponding to the control instruction, and then the target set top box control instruction is forwarded to the set top box through the router, so that the set top box can execute matching operation.
Of course, the object of executing the query mapping relationship and determining the operation of the target set top box control instruction corresponding to the control instruction may also be a set top box, that is, in a state of playing by the television set as a set top box information source, after receiving the control instruction for controlling the set top box sent by the remote control terminal, the control instruction may be directly forwarded to the set top box through the router. After receiving the control instruction, the set top box inquires the mapping relation to determine a target set top box control instruction corresponding to the control instruction, and further executes the operation matched with the target set top box control instruction.
In some embodiments of the present application, the set top box is originally provided with an infrared remote control command identification device. Considering that according to the above description, in a state that the television is a set top box information source, after receiving a control instruction for controlling the set top box sent by a remote control terminal, the control instruction is forwarded to the set top box through a router, and at this time, the control instruction is in an electrical signal form, in order to ensure that the set top box can identify the control instruction in the electrical signal form, the set top box can be modified on the basis of the original set top box, so that the modified set top box can identify the control instruction in the electrical signal form, and then a matching operation is executed according to an identification result of the control instruction.
In another alternative implementation manner, if the identification logic of the original set top box is not changed, an instruction comparison table may be preconfigured, where a mapping relationship between various types of control instructions in the form of electrical signals and infrared remote control instructions is recorded in the instruction comparison table, where the infrared remote control instructions are instructions that can be identified by the set top box. On the basis, after receiving the control instruction in the form of the electric signal forwarded by the router, the set top box can query the instruction comparison table, determine the target infrared remote control instruction corresponding to the received control instruction in the form of the electric signal, further identify the target infrared remote control instruction according to the original identification logic, and execute the operation matched with the target infrared remote control instruction.
The above illustrates two different logic for identifying and processing control instructions of the set top box, and one skilled in the art may select either one or both of them according to the actual application needs.
In some embodiments of the present application, a process of detecting whether a television is playing a set-top box source is described.
In this embodiment, several different information source detection modes are described, which are respectively described as follows:
a first kind of,
The television set may have one or more external interfaces for communication connection with one or more external source devices. On the basis, a certain fixed interface (defined as a first interface) in the television can be set as a special interface for communicating with the set top box, and the function setting of the first interface can be written into the internal logic of the television.
On the basis, when the television detects that the first interface has signal input, the television can determine that the television plays as the set top box information source.
A second kind of,
In the detection mode, the set top box is matched with the television to realize information source detection.
Specifically, the set-top box transmits a multimedia signal to the television in a state of being a source of the television play. In this embodiment, the set top box may be controlled to add a preset frequency band sound signal based on the transmitted multimedia signal. On the basis, after the television plays the received multimedia signal, the audio signal played by the loudspeaker carries the preset frequency band sound signal. In this embodiment, a microphone module may be disposed on the set-top box, and collect audio signals played by the television through the microphone module, and further detect whether the collected audio signals include sound signals in a preset frequency band, if yes, it indicates that the current television plays a set-top box information source, otherwise, it indicates that the current television plays a non-set-top box information source. When the set top box determines that the television is playing as the set top box information source, the set top box can send information source prompt information to the television through a communication interface between the set top box and the television, and the television can determine that the television is playing as the set top box information source after receiving the information source prompt information.
Of course, in order to reduce the influence of the above-mentioned preset frequency band sound signal on the normal watching television of the user, the preset frequency band sound signal may be set to a sound signal of a frequency band outside the range of the hearing of the human ear, such as a set high frequency band sound signal at or outside the upper boundary of the range of the hearing of the human ear, or a set low frequency band sound signal at or outside the lower boundary of the range of the hearing of the human ear.
A third kind,
The detection mode is similar to the second mode, but the set top box is not required to collect audio signals played by the television, so that a microphone module is not required to be added on the set top box.
Specifically, the set-top box transmits a multimedia signal to the television in a state of being a source of the television play. In this embodiment, the set top box may be controlled to add a preset frequency band sound signal based on the transmitted multimedia signal. On the basis, the television analyzes and plays the multimedia signal provided by the information source, and if the multimedia signal is detected to carry the sound signal with the preset frequency band, the television is determined to play the audio signal as the information source of the set top box.
Comparing the second and third detection modes, the third detection mode does not need to add a microphone module on the set top box, but detects whether the multimedia signal contains a preset frequency band sound signal or not when analyzing the multimedia signal provided by the playing information source through the processing capability of the television, and if yes, the playing information source of the set top box can be determined.
