Detailed Description
For a thorough understanding of the present invention, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the following specific examples, and the accompanying drawings. The objects, features and effects of the present invention will be apparent to those skilled in the art from the disclosure of the present specification. It is to be understood that the invention may be practiced or carried out in other embodiments and that various modifications and alterations may be made in the details of the description herein without departing from the spirit or scope of the invention. In addition, the drawings are merely schematic illustrations and are not drawn to actual dimensions. The following embodiments will further illustrate the related art content of the present invention in detail, but the disclosure is not intended to limit the claims of the present invention. The description is as follows:
as shown in fig. 1 to 2, an eight-channel small-format pluggable connector 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a base body 1, a separation block 2 and an upper cover 3.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3A, the base 1 is integrally formed and includes four optical fiber connectors 11, 12, 13, 14 arranged in a rectangular shape, a receiving portion 15 and a receiving seat 16. The four optical fiber interfaces 11, 12, 13, 14 are located at the front end of the base 1, and the accommodating portion 15 is adjacent to the four optical fiber interfaces 11, 12, 13, 14 and has an accommodating space S. The receptacle 16 is located in the accommodation space S adjacent to the lower two of the four fiber interfaces 11, 12, 13, 14, 11, 12. The upper surface of the socket 16 has two recesses 161 matching the shape of the terminal T, the positions of the two recesses 161 corresponding to the two optical fiber interfaces 11, 12 below.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3B, the separation block 2 is disposed above the receptacle 16, the lower surface of the separation block 2 has two concave portions 21 with a shape matching the terminal T, the concave portions 21 and 161 are used for clamping the terminal T, the upper surface of the separation block 2 has two concave portions 22 with a shape matching the terminal, and the two concave portions 22 are located adjacent to the upper two 13, 14 of the four fiber interfaces 11, 12, 13, 14.
In the present embodiment, the terminal T is an LC terminal (LC recycle), which is substantially cylindrical, however, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the terminal T may be other kinds and shapes of terminals.
Next, referring to fig. 4 to 6 together with fig. 7, an assembly method of the eight-channel small-sized pluggable connector 100 according to the present invention will be described below.
As shown in fig. 4, in step S101, the two terminals T are first placed in the two concave portions 161 on the socket 16, respectively.
Next, as shown in fig. 5, in step S102, the separation block 2 is placed on the socket 16. At this time, the concave portion 21 of the separation block 2 sandwiches the terminal T with the concave portion 161 of the socket 16.
Next, as shown in fig. 6, in step S103, the other two terminals T are placed in the two upper concave portions 22 on the partition block 2, respectively.
Finally, referring to fig. 1, the upper cover 3 is covered on the accommodating portion 15 of the base 1, so as to complete the assembly of the eight-channel small-sized pluggable connector 100.
The invention disassembles the eight-channel small-specification pluggable connector 100 with the specification of 4.0 into three main parts: the four optical fiber interfaces 11, 12, 13 and 14 are fixed on the base body 1, so that assembly tolerance does not exist between the four optical fiber interfaces 11, 12, 13 and 14 and the base body 1, and assembly tolerance does not exist between the four optical fiber interfaces 11, 12, 13 and 14 and the base body 1; the seat body 1 and the separation block 2 are respectively clamped with four terminals, so that the assembly is easy and convenient, and all the components forming the eight-channel small-specification pluggable connector 100 are easy to produce and demould.
Further, the assembling method of the eight-channel small-format pluggable connector 100 of the present invention further includes step S105: the upper cover 3 and the separation block 2 are locked and attached to the receiving seat 16. As shown in fig. 2 to 3B, the socket 16 has two lock holes 163, the partition block 2 has two through holes 24 positioned to match the lock holes 163, and the upper cover 3 also has two through holes 31 positioned to match the lock holes 163. The locking screws pass through the through holes 31, 24 and the lock holes 163 in order to fix the upper cover 3, the partition block 2 and the receiving base 16.
Further, in the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 3A, the upper surface of the socket 16 further has two transverse grooves 162 that respectively cross the recess 161. The transverse grooves 162 match the outer edges of the terminals T so that the terminals T are prevented from sliding when mounted to the sockets 16.
Based on the same design, as shown in fig. 3B, the upper and lower surfaces of the separation block 2 also have two lateral grooves 23 that cross the upper concave portion 22 and the lower concave portion 21, respectively. (the lateral grooves of the lower concave portion 21 and the lateral grooves 23 of the upper concave portion 22 are of the same design and are not shown separately). The lateral grooves 23 also prevent the terminals T from sliding back and forth when mounted on the socket 16.
Further, in the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, the bottom surface of the accommodating portion 15 has a slope 151. The inclined surface 151 is inclined toward the socket 16. The inclined plane 151 is used for guiding the connecting wire of the two terminals T arranged below, so that the connecting wire extends to a high position and is positioned on the same height plane with the connecting wire of the other two terminals T positioned above, thereby facilitating the subsequent circuit connection.
The accommodating space S may be provided with a circuit board or other device, and the end of the upper cover 3 and the accommodating portion clamped with each other leaves a gap to allow the connection wire of the terminal T to be pulled out from the end.
The present invention has been disclosed in the foregoing in terms of preferred embodiments, however, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that the embodiments are merely illustrative of the present invention and should not be construed as limiting the scope of the present invention. It should be noted that all changes and substitutions equivalent to the described embodiments are intended to be included in the scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the scope of the invention is defined by the appended claims.
