Example 1:
the embodiment provides a code number changing method based on an eUICC, as shown in fig. 1, the method includes:
step S101: receiving a code number switching command sent by an initiator, wherein the code number switching command is used for requesting to replace a second code number of a second ICCID (Integrated Circuit card identity) in the eUICC with a first code number of a first ICCID.
It should be noted that, in order to solve the problem in the practical application of the eUICC technology, the present invention provides a technical scheme based on the eUICC technology standard for the most common application requirement of the eUICC technology, i.e., code number change, and aims to solve the practical problem of technology falling, reduce the difficulty of later-stage commercial maintenance, improve the user experience, and facilitate product promotion.
In this embodiment, the initiator is an M2M SP (Machine to Machine Service Provider) or another MNO (Mobile Network Operator), and the initiator is directly connected to an SM-SR (Subscription Manager-Secure Routing Network element), and interacts through an ES4 interface, and a corresponding code number configuration document has been downloaded and installed on the eUICC, specifically, the M2M SP or another MNO sends a code number switching command ChangeProfile (eid, ICCID 1) to the SM-SR, so as to request to replace the code number 2 identified by the ICCID2 with the code number 1 identified by the ICCID1, and the SM-SR receives the code number switching command sent by the M2M SP or another Operator through the ES4 interface.
In the present embodiment, the ChangeProfile command is defined as follows:
function name: change Profile
The initiator: operator or M2M-SP
The method comprises the following steps: SM-SR
The description is as follows: the command allows the initiator to request that Profile1 in the target eUICC is switched to be Profile2, profile1 is owned by operator 1, and Profile2 is owned by operator 2.
Specifically, the input data of the ChangeProfile command may be as shown in table 1, and the output data may be as shown in table 2.
Table 1: input data of ChangeProfile command
Table 2: output data of ChangeProfile command
In particular, the ChangeProfile command message may return:
(1) A "Function execution status" of "Executed-success" indicates that the command has been successfully completed and that a new profile has been enabled on the eUICC.
(2) "Function execution status" of "executed" indicates that the command execution exceeds the validity period;
(3) The "Function execution status" is "Failed" indicating that the command execution has Failed, and the special status codes are shown in table 3 except the standard definition general status code.
Table 3: special status code of ChangeProfile command
Optionally, after receiving the code number switching command sent by the initiator, the method further includes:
judging whether a preset first initial condition is met or not according to the code number switching command, wherein the first initial condition comprises any one or more of the following conditions:
the eUICC belongs to self management;
a first Profile corresponding to the first ICCID is loaded to the eUICC;
the first Profile is in a disabled state;
and if the code number switching command does not meet a preset first initial condition, sending a command execution failure response to the initiator.
In this embodiment, after receiving the code number switching command, the SM-SR may determine whether a preset first initial condition is satisfied according to the code number switching command, where the first initial condition preferably includes the following three items: the eUICC belongs to self management; a first Profile corresponding to the first ICCID is loaded to the eUICC; the first Profile is in a disabled state; if the code number switching command does not meet a preset first initial condition, sending a command execution failure response to the initiator, that is, if the eUICC does not belong to the self-management, or a first Profile corresponding to the first ICCID is not loaded on the eUICC, or the first Profile is not in a disabled state, sending the command execution failure response to the initiator by the SM-SR, wherein the command execution failure response may carry a corresponding general or special status code.
Step S102: and judging whether a code number disabling command needs to be sent to a second operator corresponding to the second ICCID according to the code number switching command, if so, sending the code number disabling command to the second operator, and setting a second PLMA (Profile Lifecycle Management authorization) and/or updating a second policy rule POL2 according to a returned code number disabling command response.
In this embodiment, PLMA is an authorization granted by the operator to the originator to allow profile lifecycle management. POL refers to the policy rule, POL1 is located in the configuration file, and POL2 policy rule is associated with the configuration file and stored in the associated EIS (eUICC Information Set) of SM-SR.
In this embodiment, the SM-SR may determine whether a preset second initial condition is satisfied according to the code number switching command, where the second initial condition includes: a second Profile corresponding to the second ICCID is owned by a second operator granted to a second PLMA, and the initiator obtains authorization of the second PLMA to allow the initiator to execute the code number activation operation on the eUICC; and the second POL2 of the second Profile allows the code number activation operation; and if the code number switching command does not meet a preset second initial condition, determining that a code number forbidding command needs to be sent to the second operator. And if the second initial condition which is preset is judged to be met according to the code number switching command, directly skipping the step.
Optionally, the sending a code number disabling command to the second operator specifically includes:
sending a code number disabling command carrying an eUICC identifier EID (eUICC identification), a second ICCID and an initiator identifier to the second operator, so that the second operator judges whether the code number disabling command is acceptable or not according to the EID, the second ICCID and the initiator identifier;
the operations of setting the second configuration file lifecycle management authorization PLMA and/or updating the second policy rule POL2 according to the returned code number disabling command response specifically include:
receiving a code number disabling command response returned by the second operator when the code number disabling command is judged to be acceptable;
setting the second PLMA and/or updating the second POL2 operation in accordance with the code number disable command response.
In this embodiment, if the second initial condition is satisfied, the SM-SR sends a code number disabling command profile disable request (eid, ic 2, initiator-id) to the second operator, and after the second operator receives the code number disabling command, the second operator determines whether the command is acceptable, and the specific check rule is according to the specific service and management requirements of the operator, which is not limited in this scheme, such as checking user contract and cost conditions. If the second operator passes the command, the code number disable command is fed back to the SM-SR in response to the ProfileDisableRequest response [ PLMA, POL2], which carries the update PLMA and/or POL2 commands. The SM-SR performs set PLMA and/or update POL2 operations according to the received command. It should be noted that, if the second operator determines that the command is not acceptable, a code number disable command response containing a reject message is fed back to the SM-SR; after receiving the response, the SM-SR returns a response indicating failure to the initiator, indicating that the flow should be ended.
In this embodiment, the profile disablerequest command is defined as follows:
function name: profileDisableRequest
The initiator: SM-SR
The method comprises the following steps: operator
The following steps are described: the command is forbidden to be confirmed by the request code number of the initiator to the called party.
Specifically, the input data of the ProfileDisableRequest command may be as shown in table 4, and the output data may be as shown in table 5.
Table 4: input data of ProfileDisableRequest command
Table 5: output data of ProfileDisableRequest command
Specifically, the ProfileDisableRequest command message may return:
(1) The "Function execution status" is "Executed-success" indicating that the command has been successfully completed, and the POL2 and/or PLMA to be updated are/is returned;
(2) "Function execution status" of "extended" indicates that the command execution exceeds the validity period;
(3) The "Function execution status" of "Failed" indicates that the command execution Failed, except that the standard defines a general status code, and the other status codes are as shown in Table 6.
Table 6: special status code for ProfileDisableRequest Command
In this embodiment, after the SM-SR performs operations of setting PLMA and/or updating POL2, according to the setting and updating results, an update result handleruneupdatenotification (eid, iccid2, PLMA, POL 2) may be sent to the second operator, and according to the condition that the initiator obtains authorization, an update result handleruneupdatenotification (eid, iccid2, PLMA, POL 2) may be fed back to the initiator.
Specifically, the handleruseupdatenotification command is defined as follows:
function name: handlesUpdateNotification
The initiator: SM-SR
The receiving side: M2M-SP or operator
Specifically, input data of the handlerulestupdatenotification command may be as shown in table 7.
Table 7: input data of HandleRulesUpdateNotification command
Step S103: and judging whether a code number activating command needs to be sent to a first operator corresponding to the first ICCID according to the code number switching command, if so, sending the code number activating command to the first operator, and setting a first PLMA and/or updating a first POL2 operation according to the returned code number activating command response.
In this embodiment, the SM-SR may determine whether a preset third initial condition is satisfied according to the code number switching command, where the third initial condition includes: a first Profile corresponding to the first ICCID is owned by a first operator granted with a first PLMA, and an initiator obtains authorization of the first PLMA to allow the initiator to execute the code number activation operation on the eUICC; and the first POL2 of the first Profile allows the code number activation operation; and if the code number switching command judges that the preset third initial condition is not met, determining that a code number activating command needs to be sent to the first operator. And if the third preset initial condition is judged to be met according to the code number switching command, directly skipping the step.
Optionally, the sending a code number activation command to the first operator specifically includes:
sending a code number activation command carrying an EID, a first ICCID and an initiator identifier to the first operator, so that the first operator judges whether the code number activation command is acceptable according to the EID, the first ICCID and the initiator identifier;
the setting of the first PLMA and/or updating of the first POL2 operation in response to the returned code number activation command specifically includes:
receiving a code number activation command response returned by the first operator when judging that the code number activation command is acceptable;
and setting the second PLMA and/or updating the second POL2 operation according to the code number activation command response.
In this embodiment, if the third initial condition is satisfied, the SM-SR sends a code number activation command ProfileEnableRequest (eid, iccid1, initiator-id) to the first operator, and after the first operator receives the code number activation command, it determines whether the command is acceptable, and the specific check details are not limited in this scheme, such as determining the authorization condition of the Initiator, the number service agreement, and the like. If the first operator responds to the Profile EnableRequest response [ PLMA, POL2] with an update PLMA and/or POL2 command, feeding back the code number Activate command to the SM-SR. The SM-SR performs the operations of setting the PLMA and/or updating POL2 according to the received message. It should be noted that, if the first operator determines that the command is not acceptable, a code number activation command response containing a rejection message is fed back to the SM-SR; after receiving the response, the SM-SR returns a response indicating failure to the initiator, indicating that the flow should be ended.
It should be noted that, the invention is based on the fact that the technical standard falls to the ground, and the operator system performs real-time auditing and authorization, so that the problems of failure or error in change caused by insufficient or wrong policy rules and/or authorization in the prior art can be solved, and compared with the technical standard, the invention can further meet the requirements of practical application.
In the present embodiment, the definition of the ProfileEnableRequest command is as follows:
function name: profileEnableRequest
The initiator: SM-SR
The method comprises the following steps: operator
The following steps are described: the command is activated and confirmed by the request code number of the initiator to the called party.
Specifically, the input data of the ProfileEnableRequest command may be as shown in table 8, and the output data may be as shown in table 9.
Table 8: input data of ProfileEnableRequest command
Table 9: output data of ProfileEnableRequest command
In particular, the ProfileEnableRequest command message may return:
(1) "Function execution status" is "Executed-success" and indicates that the command has been successfully completed, and returns POL2 and/or PLMA to be updated;
(2) "Function execution status" of "extended" indicates that the command execution exceeds the validity period;
(3) The "Function execution status" of "Failed" indicates that the command execution Failed, and the status codes are shown in Table 10 except the standard definition general status code.
Table 10: special status code of ProfileEnableRequest command
In this embodiment, after the SM-SR performs operations of setting PLMA and/or updating POL2, according to the setting and updating results, an update result handleruneupdatenotification (eid, iccid1, PLMA, POL 2) may be sent to the first operator, and according to the condition that the initiator obtains authorization, an update result handleruneupdatenotification (eid, iccid1, PLMA, POL 2) may be fed back to the initiator.
Step S104: and initiating a process of activating a first Profile corresponding to the first ICCID to an ISD-R (Root Security Domain) in the eUICC, so as to replace a second code number of a second ICCID in the eUICC with a first code number of the first ICCID.
In this embodiment, the SM-SR confirms that the code number identified by the first ICCID belongs to the first operator according to the feedback results of the first operator and the second operator, and the initiator has obtained an "EnableProfile" operation authorization through PLMA, and POL2 of the code numbers identified by the first ICCID and the second ICCID both allow the code number change operation, and sends a message including an "es5.Store DATA" command for enabling the first Profile to the ISD-R, thereby initiating the process of activating the first Profile.
Besides ISD-R, the eUICC also includes ECASD (eUICC Controlling Security Domain, control Security Domain of eUICC), ISD-P (Security Domain, security Domain of Profile), MNO-SD (Mobile Network Operator Security Domain), and the like.
Optionally, after initiating a procedure of activating a first Profile corresponding to the first ICCID to a root security domain ISD-R in the eUICC, the method further includes:
and if the second POL2 of the second Profile indicates that the second POL2 is forbidden, sending a deletion command to the second operator to enable the second operator to delete the second Profile.
In this embodiment, after the code number is switched, if the second POL2 of the second Profile indicates that the second Profile should be deleted when the second POL2 indicates that the second Profile is disabled, the SM-SR continues to initiate the deletion operation, and returns a response message indicating the execution result according to the execution condition.
Optionally, after initiating a procedure of activating a first Profile corresponding to the first ICCID to a root security domain ISD-R in the eUICC, the method further includes:
receiving response information returned by the ISD-R;
updating an eUICC information set EIS of the eUICC according to the response information;
and feeding back the execution result of the code number switching command to the initiator.
In this embodiment, after the above procedure is successfully executed, the SM-SR updates the EIS according to the executed sequence and the eUICC response, and feeds back a ChangeProfile result to the initiator, which indicates that the second code identified by the second ICCID is replaced with the first code identified by the first ICCID, and the second code is disabled (and deleted). In addition, the first operator may be fed back that the first Profile is enabled, and the second operator may be fed back that the second Profile is disabled and whether the second Profile is successfully deleted.
Specifically, referring to fig. 2, an interaction diagram of a code number changing method based on an eUICC according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown, where it is to be noted that before the process is enabled, a corresponding code number configuration document is downloaded and installed on the eUICC, the process is started by a third party initiator, where the initiator is an authorized M2M-SP or other operator (other MNO), the initiator is directly connected to an SM-SR, and interacts with the SM-SR through an ES4 interface, and the process does not limit a possible transmission protocol between the SM-SR and the eUICC, and in this embodiment, the interaction diagram of the code number changing method based on the eUICC includes the following steps:
step S01: the initiator sends a code number switching command ChangeProfile (eid, ICCID 1) to the SM-SR for requesting to change the code number 2 identified by ICCID2 to the code number 1 identified by ICCID 1.
Step S02: the SM-SR checks the initial conditions to see if the command is acceptable. If the initial condition is not satisfied, the SM-SR should return a failure message to end the process. Initial conditions main checks confirm:
a) Whether SM-SR is responsible for managing the eUICC.
b) Whether the target Profile identified by its ICCID has been loaded onto the eUICC.
c) Whether the target profile is in a disabled state.
d) The target Profile is owned by the operator granted to the PLMA, and whether the PLMA obtained by the initiator permits the initiator to execute the code number activation operation on the eUICC is authorized.
e) POL2 of the target profile allows the code number activation operation.
f) The currently enabled Profile is owned by the operator granted to the PLMA, and whether the PLMA authorization obtained by the initiator allows the initiator to execute the code number activation operation on the eUICC is allowed.
g) Whether the POL2 of the currently enabled profile allows the code number activation operation or not.
Wherein, if the initial conditions to be verified are all satisfied, the process should continue at step S18; if any one of a, b and c is not satisfied, the SM-SR should return a response indicating failure to indicate that the process should be ended; if the conditions d and/or e are not satisfied, the flow goes to step S03 to continue; if only the conditions f and/or g are not met, the flow goes to step S10 and continues.
Step S03: the SM-SR sends a code number disabling command ProfileDisableRequest (eid, iccid2, initiator-id) to operator 2.
Step S04: the operator 2 receives the code number disabling command, and then confirms whether the command is acceptable, and the specific checking rule is not limited in the scheme according to the specific business and management requirements of the operator, such as checking the user contract and the cost condition.
Step S05: if operator 2 passes the command, the code number disable command is fed back to the SM-SR in response to the ProfileDisableRequest response [ PLMA, POL2], which carries the update PLMA and/or POL2 commands.
It should be noted that, if the operator 2 determines that the command is not acceptable, a code number disable command response containing a reject message is fed back to the SM-SR; after receiving the response, the SM-SR returns a response indicating failure to the initiator, indicating that the flow should be ended.
Step S06: the SM-SR performs set PLMA and/or update POL2 operations according to the received command.
Step S07: according to the setting and updating result, the SM-SR sends an updating result HandleRulesUpdateNotification (eid, iccid2, plma, pol 2) to the operator 2.
Step S08: according to the setting and updating result and the condition that the initiator obtains authorization, the SM-SR feeds back the updating result HandleRusUpdateNotification (eid, iccid2, plma, pol 2) to the initiator.
Step S09: the operator 2 may also update POL1 according to its business and management rules simultaneously, and this procedure is optional.
Step S10: the SM-SR transmits a code number activation command ProfileEnableRequest (eid, iccid1, initiator-id) to the operator 1.
Step S11: after receiving the code number activation command, the operator 1 confirms whether the command is acceptable, and the specific check rules are not limited in the scheme, such as confirming the authorization condition of the initiator, the number service agreement, and the like.
Step S12: if operator 1 passes the command, the code number activate command response profileEnableRequest response [ PLMA, POL2], which carries the update PLMA and/or POL2 commands, is fed back to the SM-SR.
It should be noted that, if the operator 1 determines that the command is not acceptable, a code number activation command response containing a rejection message is fed back to the SM-SR; after receiving the response, the SM-SR returns a response indicating failure to the initiator, indicating that the flow should be ended.
Step S13: the SM-SR performs a set PLMA and/or update POL2 operation according to the received message.
Step S14: according to the setting and updating result, the SM-SR sends an updating result HandleRulesUpdateNotification (eid, iccid1, plma, pol 2) to the operator 1.
Step S15: according to the setting and updating results and the condition that the initiator obtains authorization, the SM-SR feeds back an updating result HandleRusUpdateNotification (eid, iccid1, plma, pol 2) to the initiator.
Step S16: SM-SR sends a message containing an "ES5.STORE DATA" command for enabling Profile1 to ISD-R, initiating the flow of activating Profile 1.
Specifically, the SM-SR confirms that the code number identified by the ICCID1 belongs to the operator 1 according to the feedback results of the operators 1 and 2, and the initiator has obtained an "EnableProfile" operation authorization through the PLMA, and both POL2 of the code numbers identified by the ICCID1 and the ICCID2 allow the code number replacement operation, and sends a message including an "es5.Store DATA" command for enabling the Profile1 to the ISD-R, thereby initiating the process of activating the Profile 1.
Besides the ISD-R, the eUICC also comprises ECASD, ISD-P, MNO-SD and the like.
In this embodiment, after the code number is switched, if Profile2 indicates that Profile2 should be deleted when Profile 2's POL2 indicates that it is disabled, SM-SR continues to initiate the deletion operation, and returns a response message indicating the execution result according to the execution condition.
In this embodiment, after the above procedure is successfully executed, the SM-SR updates the EIS according to the executed sequence and the eUICC response.
It should be noted that if any link in the above flow fails, a failure message may be returned to the initiator through the SM-SR, and the code number in the card is rolled back to profile2 if necessary.
Step S17: the SM-SR feeds back a ChangeProfile result to the initiator indicating that code number 2 identified by ICCID2 has been replaced with code number 1 identified by ICCID1, code number 2 having been disabled (and deleted). In addition, it may also feed back to carrier 1 that Profile1 has been enabled, and to carrier 2 that Profile2 has been disabled and whether it was successfully deleted.
