The reinforcing assistant is added into the aqueous polyurethane glue solution according to the above examples 1-8 to prepare the UHMWPE UD cloth, and then the bulletproof helmet is prepared, and the impact strength can be improved due to the reduction of the depth of the recess, so that the depth of the recess can be obtained by performing a gun stroke test. The comparative examples were compared to the examples with the addition of the reinforcing aids in the total value of the sag after the gun test, as shown in table 3 below.
TABLE 3 partial test results (depth of depression/mm)
As can be seen from the table, when the solid content of the waterborne polyurethane is 50% after the reinforcing assistant is added into the waterborne polyurethane, the gun test shows that the total indentation depth is larger than that of the waterborne polyurethane with the solid content of 30% and 40%, and the weight is also increased. However, when the solid content of the aqueous polyurethane was 40%, the indentation depth was significantly reduced, and example 4 was reduced in indentation depth by about 20% and also reduced in weight by 28g, as compared with the comparative example. The obtained reinforcing assistant has a certain effect of reducing the depth of the depression, and the impact strength is increased while the weight is reduced. Therefore, the reinforcing additive provided by the invention can meet the requirement of improving the protective performance when added into UHMWPE UD prepreg glue solution.
