本申请提供一种延迟产生方法及相关设备,所述方法包括:从应用程序接收用户态线程的延迟时间信息,延迟时间信息用于指示用户态线程需要延迟的第一时长,第一时长从起始时刻至目标时刻;根据延迟时间信息控制运行用户态线程的处理器在第一时长内进入低功耗状态;其中,在第一时长内,用户态线程被维持为运行状态。本申请能够对处理器进行控制,为应用程序产生高精度低功耗的延迟。
