The first receiver 701 is configured to receive a signal and transmit the signal to the first processor 702; the first processor 702 is configured to perform the method embodiments as described above, and transmit the processing result to the first transmitter 703; the first transmitter 703 is configured to transmit a processing result.
Fig. 8 is a schematic diagram of a UPF network element provided in an embodiment of the present application, where the network element includes: a second receiver 801, a second processor 802 and a second transmitter 803.
The second receiver 801 is connected to the second processor 802 through a bus, and the second processor 802 is further connected to the second transmitter 803 through a bus.
The second receiver 801 is configured to receive a signal and transmit the signal to the second processor 802; the second processor 802 is configured to perform the above-described method embodiments and transmit the processing result to the second transmitter 803; the second transmitter 803 is used to transmit the processing result.

receiving a notification message issued by a CHF network element of a charging function, wherein the notification message comprises: information of the terminal device, switching indication information; the switching indication information is used for indicating that the quota management mode of the terminal equipment is switched;
sending an update request to a User Plane Function (UPF) network element corresponding to the terminal device, where the update request includes: an information unit for updating the usage reporting rule, wherein the information unit carries: presetting a zone bit and information of the terminal equipment; the update request is used for enabling the UPF network element to acquire usage information of the terminal device before switching a quota management mode;
receiving an update response sent by the UPF network element, wherein the update response comprises: the usage information;
and reporting the usage information to the CHF network element.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the notification message further comprises: rate group information; before sending the update request to the UPF network element corresponding to the terminal device, the method further includes:
and determining the UPF network element corresponding to the rate group information as the UPF network element corresponding to the terminal equipment.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein prior to receiving the notification message issued by the CHF network element, the method further comprises:
sending a charging updating request to the CHF network element;
receiving a charging update response sent by the CHF network element, wherein the charging update response carries: the notification message.
4. The method of claim 3, wherein prior to sending the charging update request to the CHF network element, the method further comprises:
receiving a re-authorization notification sent by the CHF network element.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein the predetermined flag bit occupies a predetermined bit in the information unit.
6. A usage information transmission method is applied to a UPF network element, and the method comprises the following steps:
receiving an update request sent by an SMF network element, wherein the update request comprises: an information unit for updating the usage reporting rule, wherein the information unit carries: presetting a flag bit and information of terminal equipment; the update request is a request sent by the SMF network element after receiving a notification message issued by a CHF network element, where the notification message includes: information of the terminal device, switching indication information; the switching indication information is used for indicating that the quota management mode of the terminal equipment is switched;
acquiring usage information of the terminal equipment before switching a quota management mode;
sending an update response to the SMF network element, wherein the update response comprises: the usage information; and the update response is used for enabling the SMF network element to report the usage information to the CHF network element.
7. A usage information transmission apparatus, applied to an SMF network element, the apparatus comprising:
a first receiving module, configured to receive a notification message sent by a CHF network element, where the notification message includes: information of the terminal equipment and switching indication information; the switching indication information is used for indicating that the quota management mode of the terminal equipment is switched;
a first sending module, configured to send an update request to a UPF network element corresponding to the terminal device, where the update request includes: an information unit for updating the usage reporting rule, wherein the information unit carries: presetting a zone bit and information of the terminal equipment; the update request is used for enabling the UPF network element to acquire usage information of the terminal device before switching a quota management mode;
a second receiving module, configured to receive an update response sent by the UPF network element, where the update response includes: the usage information;
and the reporting module is used for reporting the usage information to the CHF network element.
8. A usage information transmission apparatus, applied to a UPF network element, the apparatus comprising:
a third receiving module, configured to receive an update request sent by an SMF network element, where the update request includes: an information unit for updating the usage reporting rule, wherein the information unit carries: presetting a flag bit and information of terminal equipment; the update request is a request sent by the SMF network element after receiving a notification message issued by a CHF network element, where the notification message includes: information of the terminal device, switching indication information; the switching indication information is used for indicating that the quota management mode of the terminal equipment is switched;
the acquisition module is used for acquiring the usage information of the terminal equipment before switching the quota management mode;
a second sending module, configured to send an update response to the SMF network element, where the update response includes: the usage information; and the update response is used for enabling the SMF network element to report the usage information to the CHF network element.
9. A session management function, SMF, network element, comprising: a first receiver, a first processor, and a first transmitter;
the first receiver is connected with the first processor through a bus, and the first processor is also connected with the first transmitter through the bus;
the first receiver is used for receiving signals and transmitting the signals to the first processor; the first processor is configured to perform the steps of the usage information transmission method according to any one of claims 1 to 5, and transmit the processing result to the first transmitter; the first transmitter is used for transmitting the processing result.
10. A user plane function, UPF, network element, comprising: a second receiver, a second processor, and a second transmitter;
the second receiver is connected with the second processor through a bus, and the second processor is also connected with the second transmitter through the bus;
the second receiver is used for receiving signals and transmitting the signals to the second processor; the second processor is configured to perform the steps of the usage information transmission method according to claim 6, and transmit the processing result to the second transmitter; the second transmitter is used for transmitting the processing result.
