The image forming apparatus 120 may include, but is not limited to, the following devices: a single function printer, a multifunction printer, a complex machine, etc.
The first electronic device may be an electronic device installed with a print driver, such as a computer, or an electronic device capable of communicating with a printer, such as a mobile phone or a mobile tablet, and may also be generally referred to as a user end, a client end, or a host.
The connection mode between the first electronic device 110 and the image forming device 120 is not limited in the embodiment of the present application. Generally, a print driver of the image forming apparatus 120 is installed in the first electronic device 110, so that an application program on the first electronic device 110 issues print data to the image forming apparatus 120.
First embodiment
The embodiment of the invention provides a control method for safe transmission of printing data, which ensures the safe transmission of the printing data.
As shown in fig. 2, a method for controlling secure transmission of print data includes:
step S201, the print driver transmits a print start request to the image forming apparatus; the printing start request indicates that the host needs to start sending printing data for printing, and the printing start request comprises unique identification information of the host;
step S202, the image forming device generates a random key according to the printing start request, and the image forming device returns the random key to the host; the random key is generated according to the unique identification information of the host, the unique identification information of the image forming device and the system time of the current image forming device;
step S203, the printing driver encrypts the printing data according to the random key and sends the printing data to the image forming device;
in step S204, the image forming apparatus decrypts the print data based on the random key.
By the embodiment of the invention, before the printing data is sent to the image forming device, the printing data can be encrypted according to the host information and the information generation key of the image forming device, so that the safe transmission of the printing data is protected.
The control method of the embodiment of the present invention further includes:
when the image forming apparatus cannot decrypt the received print data, a warning page is output. Optionally, the random key is also invalidated.
If the decryption of the printing data fails, the printing data which is encrypted by a fake key and then transmitted to the image forming device may exist, so that the image forming device cannot decrypt the printing data, and the printing warning page can remind a user of the reason of the decryption failure.
Alternatively, when the image forming apparatus cannot decrypt the received print data, the number of times of decryption failure is recorded, and when the number of times of recording reaches n times, locking the image forming apparatus cannot perform any operation. When the number of times of decryption failure reaches a predetermined value, for example, 3 times, there may be a problem that the current image forming apparatus faces an illegal user to perform illegal printing, and thus the image forming apparatus may be locked, and optionally, the image forming apparatus may be locked for a different predetermined time according to the number of times of decryption failure to protect the safe operation of the image forming apparatus.
Specifically, the generation of the random key depends on the MAC address of the image forming apparatus, the MAC address of the host, and the system time of the image forming apparatus. One random key corresponds to one image forming apparatus and one host. The unique identification information of the host includes, but is not limited to, a MAC address, an IP address, a host name, and a host serial number of the host; the unique identification information of the image forming apparatus includes, but is not limited to, a MAC address, an IP address, a device name, and a factory serial number of the image forming apparatus.
Alternatively, the random key is disposable, and the random key is invalidated after the image forming apparatus normally completes decryption of the print data. The printing data is safe and effective, and the condition that the secret key is still used for printing by an illegal user after being leaked is prevented. Alternatively, the random key may be invalidated after the image forming apparatus normally completes parsing of the print data or after the output printing.
The embodiment of the invention has the following technical effects:
1. the encryption and decryption keys of each print job are different, namely the encryption and decryption keys represent that the data of the same printed document are different every time the same printed document is printed;
2. the decryption failure times are limited, so that other people are effectively prevented from deciphering the encryption and decryption process by using an exhaustion method;
3. one secret key corresponds to one encryption and decryption process, and printing cannot be executed even if the secret key is acquired by other people.
In addition, when the print driver needs to transmit different print jobs, a corresponding random key is acquired to the image forming apparatus for each print job to encrypt each print job. The random key for each print job is not the same. And when different hosts issue print jobs to the image forming apparatus, the different hosts also obtain corresponding random keys from the image forming apparatus to encrypt each print job before issuing the print jobs. The image forming apparatus selects a corresponding random key for decryption according to different print jobs.
When different hosts send different print jobs, the image forming device selects a corresponding key according to the information of the hosts to decrypt the print jobs; when the same host computer issues different printing jobs, the image forming device sets a linked list according to the printing start request, the linked list stores the corresponding relation between the random key and the printing jobs, and when the same host computer issues different printing jobs, the image forming device obtains the corresponding random key according to the linked list to decrypt the corresponding printing jobs to obtain printing data; after the print job is decrypted, whether the decryption is failed or successful, the key corresponding to the print job in the linked list is invalid, and the corresponding information of the print job and the random key is deleted.
Second embodiment
An embodiment of the present invention provides a control device for secure transmission of print data, as shown in fig. 3, the control device 30 includes: a transmitting unit 31, a receiving unit 32, and a print data generating unit 33.
A transmission unit 31 for transmitting a print start request to the image forming apparatus; the printing start request indicates that the host needs to start sending printing data for printing, and the printing start request comprises unique identification information of the host;
a receiving unit 32 for receiving a random key fed back by the image forming apparatus; the image forming device generates a random key according to a printing start request by using the unique identification information of the host computer, the unique identification information of the image forming device and the system time of the current image forming device;
the print data generation unit 33 encrypts the print data based on the random key.
The transmitting unit transmits the encrypted print data to the image forming apparatus so that the image forming apparatus decrypts the print data based on the random key and outputs the decrypted print data.
According to the embodiment of the invention, before the printing driver sends the printing job, the information of the image forming device and the information of the host are acquired to encrypt the printing data, so that the safe transmission of the printing data is ensured.
Alternatively, the image forming apparatus outputs a warning page when the print data cannot be decrypted. So that the user knows the reason for the inability to decrypt.
Alternatively, the random key is invalidated after the image forming apparatus completes decryption of the print data. The key can be used only once, preventing the key from being reused to cause arbitrary output of print data.
Descriptions of the embodiments of the present invention are not repeated where they are the same as the above-described embodiments.
In addition, an embodiment of the present invention further provides an electronic device, which includes a memory, a processor, and a computer program;
wherein the computer program is stored in the memory and configured to be executed by the processor to implement the monitoring method described above.
Further, an embodiment of the present invention also provides a computer-readable storage medium, on which a computer program is stored, wherein the program is configured to implement the steps of the monitoring method when executed.
The above description is only for the purpose of illustrating the preferred embodiments of the present invention and should not be taken as limiting the scope of the present invention, and any modifications, equivalents, improvements and the like made within the spirit and principle of the present invention should be included in the scope of the present invention.
