The invention relates to a branding accessory for a hot air blower and a system comprising the hot air blower and the branding accessory.
Background
A color removal attachment for a heat gun is known from US 7,964,822 B2.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention discloses a branding accessory for a hot air blower, which comprises an embossing device for embossing a processing surface and a connecting device for connecting the embossing device with an air outlet of the hot air blower.
The invention provides a branding accessory, by which the use possibility of a hot air blower can be expanded. The stamp can be stamped, for example, on the work surface by means of a stamping attachment. The branding accessories can be heated by means of the heated air from the hot air blower.
The branding attachment is designed to be able to be connected to the hot air blower in a particularly releasable manner. The branding attachment may be configured to be insertable into an air outlet of a hot air blower. The branding attachment can be configured, for example, in the form of a can, in the form of a cap, in the form of a bowl or in the form of a sleeve. When the branding attachment is connected to the hot air blower, heated air may flow into, around, and/or through the branding attachment and heat the branding attachment. The branding attachment is made of a heatable material, which is substantially heat-resistant and heat-conducting. For example, the branding attachment is made of metal, such as brass.
The hot air blower is designed as an electrically operated hot air blower. The electrically operated hot air blower can be designed as a mains-operated hot air blower or as a battery-operated hot air blower. For example, the heat gun may be configured as a heat gun or a heat blower. Furthermore, the heat gun is also constructed as a hand-held heat gun. The air heater comprises a housing having an air outlet. The housing comprises an electric heating device and a fan wheel with an electric drive motor. The electric drive motor and the electric heating device can be controlled and/or regulated by means of a control unit. Furthermore, the heat blower may have a temperature sensor. The electric drive motor may drive the fan impeller. The electric heating device is configured for heating air. The electric drive motor, the electric heating device and/or the control unit are configured to be actuated by a manual switch. If the manual switch is actuated by the user, the electric drive motor, the electric heating device and/or the control unit are switched on and the hot air blower starts to run. If the user accordingly no longer actuates the manual switch, the electric drive motor, the electric heating device and/or the control unit are switched off.
The heat gun comprises an energy supply device, wherein the energy supply device is provided for battery operation by means of a battery, in particular a battery pack of a handheld power tool, and/or for grid operation. In a preferred embodiment, the energy supply device is designed for battery operation. Within the scope of the present invention, a "hand-held power tool battery pack" is to be understood to mean a combination of at least one battery cell and a battery pack housing. The rechargeable battery pack of the hand-held power tool is advantageously designed for supplying energy to a commercially available rechargeable battery-operated hand-held power tool. The at least one battery cell can be designed, for example, as a lithium-ion battery cell having a nominal voltage of 3.6V. For example, the battery pack of the hand-held power tool can comprise up to ten battery cells, wherein a different number of battery cells is also conceivable. The embodiment of an air heater operating as a battery and an air heater operating as a power grid is sufficiently known to the person skilled in the art, and therefore the details of the energy supply are not discussed here.
The branding attachment includes an embossing device for embossing the work surface. The embossing device can be heated by means of heated air from a hot air blower. When the branding accessory is connected with the hot air blower, the stamping device is arranged opposite to the air outlet. For example, the work surface is made of an embossable material, such as plastic, leather or wood. Furthermore, the branding attachment comprises a connection device for connecting the stamping device with an air outlet of the hot air blower. The connecting device is designed for connecting the branding accessories, in particular the stamping device, to the air outlet.
The branding attachment, in particular the embossing device and/or the connecting device, can have an attachment axis. The attachment axis may be, for example, a rotational axis and/or a symmetry axis of the branding attachment. The embossing device and/or the connecting device can be arranged around or on the attachment axis. The embossing means and the connecting means may be arranged coaxially with the accessory axis.
In one embodiment of the branding attachment, the embossing device and the attachment device are configured to be releasably attachable to one another. The releasable connection can be realized, for example, by means of a screw connection, a snap connection, a bayonet connection, a plug connection or a snap connection.
In one embodiment, the embossing device and the connecting device are constructed in one piece. The embossing device and the connecting device can be made of the same material, for example brass.
In one embodiment of the branding attachment, the embossing device has at least one embossing element which is designed to enable embossing of the working surface. The embossing elements may be, for example, letters, numbers, symbols and/or logos. The embossing element is made of a heatable and substantially heat-resistant material, for example metal, in particular brass. It is conceivable for the stamp element and the stamp device to be constructed in one piece. Furthermore, a plurality of stamp elements may be provided. It is conceivable here for a plurality of embossing elements to form at least one text, name, text label, number arrangement or the like. The stamping elements may be prefabricated or individually configurable by the user.
In one embodiment of the branding attachment, the embossing device has at least one receiving element, which is designed to receive the embossing element. The receiving element can be configured, for example, as a disk, pot, bowl, web, frame, tunnel or slot. Furthermore, the receiving element can also be configured in the form of a substantially circular or polygonal opening. The receiving element may be arranged opposite the connecting device and/or the air outlet. The receiving element is provided for the form-locking, force-locking and/or material-locking reception of the stamping element. It is also conceivable for the receiving element and the stamping element to be formed integrally. The receiving element can be made of a heatable and substantially heat-resistant material, for example a metal, in particular brass.
In one embodiment of the branding attachment, the stamping device has at least one air-guiding element configured for guiding an air flow from an air outlet of the hot air blower to the stamping element. The air guide element can be configured, for example, as an opening or as a ramp. The air guiding element can be designed in the form of a circle, an ellipse, a triangle, a quadrilateral, a polygon, a strip or a slit, for example. It is conceivable for the air-guiding element to be formed integrally with the stamping element and the receiving element. The air-guiding element is capable of guiding an air flow of the heated air from the air outlet to the imprinting element. The stamp element can thereby be heated.
In one embodiment of the branding attachment, the connection device has a connection element configured for making a mechanical connection with the air outlet of the hot air blower. The connecting element can be configured, for example, in the form of a collar, a ring segment, a sleeve, etc. Furthermore, the connecting element can be designed, for example, in the form of a ring or an oval. The connecting element is designed to form a form-locking and/or force-locking connection with the air outlet. The connecting element is made of a substantially heat-resistant material, for example a metal, in particular brass.
In one embodiment, the connecting element is designed such that it at least partially and/or at least sectionally surrounds the air outlet. The connecting element can at least partially overlap the air outlet in an axial direction relative to the attachment axis.
In one embodiment of the branding attachment, the connection device has at least one fastening element, which is designed to fasten the connection device, in particular the connection element, to the air outlet. The fastening element is designed to clamp the connecting device, in particular the connecting element, to the air outlet. The fixing element may be arranged on the connecting element. Furthermore, the fixing element may be arranged in a circumferential direction with respect to the connecting element. The fastening element can be configured, for example, as a screw. It is also conceivable for the fixing element to be constructed in the form of a clip, in the form of a hook or in the form of a collar.
In one embodiment of the branding attachment, the connecting device has a connecting housing which is designed to connect at least the connecting element with the receiving element. The connecting housing is designed for the form-locking, force-locking and/or material-locking connection of the connecting element and the receiving element to one another. The connecting housing may be arranged between the connecting element and the receiving element. The connection housing can be configured, for example, in the form of a ring, a ring segment, an arm, a web, a sleeve, a bracket, a cage or a grid. Furthermore, the connection housing can be designed, for example, as a cylinder or a truncated cone. The connecting housing can be made of a heatable and substantially heat-resistant material, for example metal, in particular brass. It is also conceivable for the connection housing, the connection element and the receiving element to be constructed in one piece.
In one embodiment of the branding attachment, the connection housing has at least one air-guiding element which is designed to guide air, in particular heated air, from the air outlet to the stamping device, in particular the stamping element. The connection housing may form the air guiding element such that the connection housing and the air guiding element are integrally constructed. It is also conceivable for the connection housing and the air guiding element to be connected to one another in a form-fitting, force-fitting and/or form-fitting manner. The air guide element may be configured, for example, in the form of a ring, a ramp or in the form of a ramp. The air guiding element may for example be configured to be connected to an inner wall of the housing. The air guiding element is made of a heatable and substantially heat-resistant material, for example a metal, in particular brass.
The invention also relates to a system comprising a hot air blower as described above and a branding accessory as described above.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a schematic diagram of a system 300 according to the present invention, including an exemplary hot air blower 100 and a branding accessory 200 according to the present invention. The hot air blower 100 is designed here, for example, as a battery hot air blower. The air heater 100 has a housing 110 with a handle 126 and an air outlet 112. For network-independent power supply, the heat blower 100 can be mechanically and electrically connected to a battery-operated power supply, so that the heat blower 100 is designed as a battery-operated heat blower 100. In this case, the battery pack 130 of the hand-held power tool serves as an energy supply device. However, the invention is not limited to battery-operated air blowers, but also air blowers which are grid-dependent, i.e. run on the grid, can be used.
The housing 110 of the air heater 100 comprises an electric heating means 120 and a fan impeller 119 with an electric drive motor 114. In addition, the heat blower 100 further includes a control unit 170. The drive motor 114 and the heating device 120 can be controlled and/or regulated using the control unit 170. The drive motor 114 drives the fan impeller 119. The heating device 120 heats air. The heated air is discharged from the housing 110 through the air outlet 112 as an air flow using the fan wheel 119. The air heater 100 includes a temperature sensor 172. The drive motor 114, the heating device 120 and the control unit 170 can be activated by means of the manual switch 128. When the manual switch 128 is manipulated by the user, the drive motor 114, the heating device 120 and the control unit 170 are turned on and the operation of the air heater 100 is started. When the user no longer manipulates the manual switch 128, the drive motor 114, the heating device 120, and the control unit 170 are turned off.
Furthermore, the housing 110 comprises a power supply device holding device 160. The energy supply device holder 160 receives the hand-held power tool battery pack 130 and forms a base 162 with a standing surface. The hand-held power tool battery pack 130 can be released from the energy supply device holder 160 without tools. In one embodiment, the energy supply device holder 160 is disposed on the handle 126. The air heater 100 may be shut down by the base 162.
The branding attachment 200 has an embossing device 210 for embossing the work surface. The machining surface is not shown in detail here. The working surface may be formed from an imprintable material such as plastic, leather or wood. The imprinting device 210 is heated by means of heated air. In the state in which branding accessory 200 is connected to hot air blower 100, embossing device 210 is arranged opposite air outlet 112. Branding attachment 200 has a connection 230 for connecting stamping device 210 to air outlet 112 of air heater 100. A connecting device 230 connects the branding attachment 200, and in particular the embossing device 210, with the air outlet 112. The embossing device 210 and the connecting device 230 are in this case of one piece construction and consist of the same material, for example brass.
The branding attachment 200 includes an attachment axis 202. The attachment axis 202 is here, for example, an axis of symmetry of the branding attachment 200. The tamp assembly 210 and the attachment assembly 230 are arranged about the attachment axis 202 such that the tamp assembly 210 and the attachment assembly 230 are coaxial with respect to the attachment axis 202.
FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of a branding attachment 200. The embossing device 210 comprises at least one embossing element 212, see also fig. 3. The embossing element 212 is configured to enable embossing of the work surface. A plurality of imprinting members 212 are formed therein. The stamp element 212 is shaped here as a combination of letters and numbers, so that the stamp element 212 constitutes a name. The stamping element 212 is formed from a heatable and substantially heat-resistant material, for example a metal, in particular brass. In this case, the embossing element 212 and the embossing device 210 are formed in one piece.
The embossing device 210 comprises at least one receiving element 214. Receiving element 214 is configured to receive imprinting element 212. In this case, the receiving element 214 receives a plurality of stamping elements 212. The receiving element 214 is shaped here, for example, like a frame. The receiving element 214 is arranged opposite the connecting device 230. Here, the receiving element 214 and the plurality of stamping elements 212 are constructed in one piece. The receiving element 214 is formed from a heatable and substantially heat-resistant material, for example a metal, in particular brass.
The embossing device 210 comprises at least one air guiding element 216. The air directing element 216 is configured to direct an air flow from the air outlet 112 of the heat blower 100 to the impression element 212. Here, a plurality of air guiding elements 216 are formed. A plurality of air-directing elements 216 are disposed between and around the plurality of stamping elements 212. The air guiding element 216 is formed here, for example, as an opening, wherein the opening is formed in a polygonal and slot-like manner. The air-guiding element 216 is formed integrally with the stamping element 212 and the receiving element 214.
The connection device 230 includes a connection element 232. The connecting element 232 is configured for making a mechanical connection with the air outlet 112 of the heat blower 110. The connecting element 232 is here formed, for example, in the manner of a sleeve. The connecting element 232 can be connected to the air outlet 112 in a form-fitting manner. Furthermore, the connecting element 232 is made of a substantially heat-resistant material, for example metal, in particular brass. When branding accessory 200 is connected with air outlet 112, connecting element 232 at least partially and at least partially surrounds air outlet 112. Here, the connecting element 232 at least partially overlaps the air outlet 112 in the axial direction relative to the attachment axis 202.
The attachment device 230 includes a securing element 234. The fixing element 234 is configured for fixing the connecting element 232 on the air outlet 112. In this case, the fastening element 234 clamps the connecting element 232 against the air outlet 112. The fixing element 234 is arranged on the connecting element 232 and is arranged in a circumferential direction with respect to the connecting element 232. The fastening element 234 is formed here, for example, as a screw.
The coupling device 230 includes a coupling housing 236. The connecting housing 236 is configured for connecting the connecting element 230 with the receiving element 214. A coupling housing 236 is disposed between coupling member 232 and receiving member 214. The coupling housing 236 is molded in a sleeve type. The connecting housing 236 is made of a heatable and substantially heat-resistant material, for example metal, in particular brass. Here, the connection housing 236, the connection element 232 and the receiving element 214 are constructed in one piece.
The connection housing 236 includes an air directing element 238. The air-guiding element 238 is configured for guiding the heated air from the air outlet 112 to the stamping element 212. Here, the connection housing 236 forms an air guiding element 238, so that the connection housing 236 and the air guiding element 238 are constructed in one piece. The air-guiding element 238 is shaped here, for example, as an inner wall of the connecting housing 236. The air guiding element 238 is formed from a heatable and substantially heat-resistant material, for example a metal, in particular brass.

Claims (10)
1. A branding attachment (200) for a hot air blower (100) comprises an imprint device (210) for imprinting a work surface and a connection device (230) for connecting the imprint device (210) with an air outlet (112) of the hot air blower (100).
2. The branding attachment (200) according to claim 1, wherein said imprinting means (210) and said connecting means (230) are configured to be releasably connectable to each other.
3. The branding attachment (200) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein said embossing device (210) has at least one embossing element (212) configured for enabling embossing of said working surface.
4. A branding attachment (200) according to any of claims 1 to 3, wherein said imprinting device (210) has at least one receiving element (214) configured for receiving said imprinting element (212).
5. The branding attachment (200) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said embossing device (210) has at least one air guiding element (216) configured for guiding an air flow from the air outlet (112) of the hot air blower (100) to said embossing element (212).
6. The branding attachment (200) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said connection means (230) has a connection element (232) configured for making a mechanical connection with the air outlet (112) of the air heater (100).
7. Branding attachment (200) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the connection device (230) has at least one fixing element (234) configured for fixing the connection device (230), in particular the connection element (232), on the air outlet (112).
8. Branding attachment (200) according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the connection device (210) has a connection housing (236) configured for connecting at least the connection element (232) with the receiving element (214).
9. The branding attachment (200) according to claim 8, wherein said connection housing (236) has at least one air guiding element (238) configured for guiding air from said air outlet (112) to said stamping device (210), in particular stamping element (212).
10. A system (300) comprising a hot air blower (100) and a branding accessory (200) according to any of the previous claims.
