After the network splicing information is obtained, the network splicing information can be further encrypted through various encryption algorithms, so that the encrypted network connection information with higher security is obtained and is transmitted to the set top box to be connected by the terminal. According to the embodiment of the application, the target network connection information can be spliced and encrypted to obtain the safe and reliable encrypted network connection information for the terminal to transmit to the set top box to be connected, so that the safety of the data transmission process is ensured.

According to the embodiment of the application, under the condition that the network to be connected supports the target protocol or the cloud corresponding to the terminal has the network connection information set, the function of automatically acquiring the target network connection information and the function of automatically networking the set top box to be connected can be realized, so that the problems of more operation steps and easy error of manual networking of a user are approached.

If the cloud corresponding to the terminal has the network connection information set, acquiring the target network connection information from the network connection information set through a channel of the cloud corresponding to the terminal;
If the cloud corresponding to the terminal does not have the target network connection information, acquiring the target network connection information manually input by a user;
Encrypting the acquired target network connection information to obtain encrypted network connection information;
transmitting the encrypted network connection information to the set top box to be connected;
decrypting the encrypted network connection information in the set top box to be connected to obtain decrypted network connection information;
and carrying out network connection on the set top box to be connected according to the decryption network connection information.
