Description

Method and device for controlling quality of cooling water in converter valve
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of treatment of cooling water in a converter valve, and particularly relates to a method and a device for controlling the quality of the cooling water in the converter valve.
Background
With the continuous development of electric power systems, the construction of novel electric power systems, and the construction and operation of large-scale extra-high voltage and high-voltage transmission projects. The converter station is a part for realizing mutual energy conversion between alternating current and direct current in an extra-high voltage and high-voltage direct current transmission system, and is also a central link of direct current transmission. The converter valve is the most core and key component for realizing alternating current-direct current conversion in the converter station, bears heavy current and high voltage during normal operation, and generates a large amount of heat in the operation process to be taken away by an internal cooling water system. Deionized water is generally adopted as a cooling medium in a cooling water system of the converter valve, and the requirement on the quality of the internally cooled water is very strict so as to prevent the equipment from being failed due to corrosion and scaling of the cooling water system. According to incomplete statistics, in 2015-2021, the fault caused by the cold water system in the valve accounts for more than 45% of the fault of the converter station. Therefore, the problems of how to effectively control the quality of the internal cooling water, improve the reliability of water quality control and reduce the metal scaling of the internal cooling water system of the valve need to be solved urgently.
At present, a bypass ion exchange resin method is generally adopted for purifying the quality of internal cooling water in a cooling water system of a converter valve, and the method mainly has the following defects: (1) The ion exchange resins have a short operating life and need to be replaced periodically. However, as the cold water system in the converter valve is not provided with a demineralized water replenishing system, in order to prevent water quality deterioration or accidents in the operation process of the converter valve, the replacement and maintenance work of the corresponding ion exchange resin is not allowed, and the replacement can only be carried out in combination with annual maintenance, so that the ion exchange resin is not invalid and replaced or is not replaced in time, and high operation and maintenance cost or hidden danger exists; (2) The operation and the operation of the ion exchange resin need to be washed to remove impurities and resin powder, and the cold water system in the converter valve does not have an additional water system for washing, so that the direct operation easily causes poor initial water quality, and foreign matters precipitated from the ion exchange resin enter the cold water system in the converter valve; (3) Impurities such as organic matters and ions are separated out in the operation process of the ion exchange resin, so that the water quality is influenced to accelerate the corrosion of metal materials. Some scholars propose one or more of EDI and reverse osmosis as internal cold water treatment systems, but these treatment systems suffer from the following disadvantages: firstly, there is dense water to discharge and needs a large amount of interior cold water to supply, causes the water waste, fortune dimension cost to increase, and the converter valve does not design demineralized water charging system moreover, and it is not suitable to current valve cooling system. Therefore, a new method for controlling the quality of cooling water in a converter valve is needed to replace the prior art.
