In one embodiment, the display device 11 may be installed with a specific application (also referred to as a first application). The display device 11 may run the first application and present an application interface corresponding to the first application. Taking the Netflix video streaming platform as an example, the display device 11 may install and run a television version or a mobile version of Netflix application. In response to the installed and running application being the television version of the Netflix application, the display device 11 may present an application interface corresponding to the television version of the Netflix application on the display interface. Alternatively, in response to that the installed and running application is the mobile version of the Netflix application, the display device 11 may present an application interface corresponding to the mobile version of the Netflix application on the display interface. For example, the application program interface may be presented in a display of the display device 11 or in a projection manner in a projection screen.
In one embodiment, the storage circuit 22 stores a remote control program 201. The processor 21 may run a remote control program 201. In response to the type of the application (i.e., the first application) currently running on the display device 11, the remote control program 201 may provide a suitable operation interface and present the operation interface to an operation interface of the mobile device 12 (e.g., to a touch screen of the mobile device 12). Then, the remote control program 201 can receive a user operation through the operation interface and send a control signal to the display device 11 according to the user operation, so as to perform operation control on the application program interface presented by the display device 11.
In one embodiment, the processor 21 may initiate the remote control program 201. After the remote control program 201 is started, the remote control program 201 may actively detect the type of the application (i.e. the first application) running on the display device 11. According to the type of the first application program, the remote control program 201 may present the specific operation interface to the operation interface of the mobile device 12 (e.g., to the touch screen of the mobile device 12).
In one embodiment, the remote control program 201 may receive the identification information of the first application program from the display device 11 via the input/output interface 23. For example, the identification information may include a program name, version information, and/or program code of the first application, and the like, which may be used to identify the first application. In one embodiment, the remote control program 201 may send a request to the display device 11 via the i/o interface 23 to request the identification information of the first application program. The display device 11 may receive this request. In response to this request, display device 11 may provide identification information of the first application to mobile device 12.
In an embodiment, according to the type of the first application program, the remote control program 201 may present one of the first type operation interface and the second type operation interface on the operation interface of the mobile device 12, so that the operation function provided by the operation interface satisfies the operation requirement of the application program interface presented by the display device 11. Then, the remote control program 201 can detect the operation behavior of the user on the operation interface and transmit a control signal to the display device 11 according to the operation behavior. The control signal may instruct or drive the display device 11 to operate the application interface currently presented by the display device 11 according to the control signal.
In an embodiment, in response to the type of the first application being the first type of application, the remote control program 201 may present the first type of operation interface to the operation interface of the mobile device 12. Alternatively, in response to the type of the first application being the second type of application, the remote control program 201 may present the second type of operation interface to the operation interface of the mobile device 12.
In one embodiment, the first type of application is a mobile version of the application and the second type of application is a television version of the application. Generally, a mobile version of an application is suitable for a mobile device with a touch screen, such as a smart phone or a tablet computer, so that a user can operate the application through a touch operation function provided by the smart phone or the tablet computer. On the contrary, the tv-version application is suitable for a mobile device without a touch screen, such as a smart tv or a smart projector, so that a user can operate the application through a button operation function provided by the physical remote controller.
In an embodiment, assuming that the application interface currently presented by the display apparatus 11 is an application interface corresponding to a mobile version of Netflix application (i.e. a first type of application), the remote control program 201 can present a first type of operation interface on the operation interface of the mobile apparatus 12. At this time, the operation function provided by the operation interface (i.e., the first type of operation interface) presented by the mobile device 12 can satisfy the operation requirement (e.g., the touch operation function) of the application interface corresponding to the mobile version of the Netflix application (i.e., the first type of application).
In an embodiment, assuming that the application interface currently presented by the display apparatus 11 is an application interface corresponding to a television version of Netflix application (i.e. a second type of application), the remote control program 201 can present the second type of operation interface on the operation interface of the mobile apparatus 12. At this time, the operation function provided by the operation interface (i.e. the second type of operation interface) presented by the mobile device 12 can satisfy the operation requirement (e.g. the conventional button operation function) of the application interface corresponding to the television version of Netflix application (i.e. the second type of application).
In one embodiment, the remote control program 201 can adjust the configuration of at least one operable object in the first type of operation interface presented by the mobile device 12 in response to the first type of application program of a specific or different type run by the display device 11. For example, according to the first type of application currently running on the display device 11, the mobile version of Netflix application is switched to the mobile version of web browser (e.g., google chrome web browser), the remote control program 201 may change the configuration of at least one operable object presented in the first type of operation interface. The changing or adjusting of the configuration of at least one operable object presented in the first type of operation interface may include adding an operable object presented in the first type of operation interface, deleting a part of the operable object presented in the first type of operation interface, and/or changing a function of a part of the operable object presented in the first type of operation interface.
In an embodiment, in response to that the type of the application currently running on the display device 11 (i.e. the first application) is the first type of application, after detecting the operation behavior of the user on the first type of operation interface, the remote control program 201 may transmit a control signal (also referred to as a first control signal) to the display device 11 through the input/output interface 23. The first control signal may instruct or drive the display device 11 to operate the application interface presented by the display device 11 according to a touch operation behavior. For example, this touch operation behavior may simulate the operation behavior performed by the user on the first type of operation interface. For example, the touch operation behavior may include at least one of a screen slide, a screen zoom, and a cursor movement for the application program interface, but is not limited thereto.
In an embodiment, in response to the type of the application currently running on the display device 11 (i.e. the first application) being the second type of application, after detecting the operation behavior of the user on the second type of operation interface, the remote control program 201 may transmit a control signal (also referred to as a second control signal) to the display device 11 through the input/output interface 23. The second control signal may instruct or drive the display device 11 to operate the application interface presented by the display device 11 according to a button operation behavior. For example, this button operation behavior reflects the operation behavior performed by the user on the second type operation interface. For example, the button operation behavior may include at least one of object switching and object selection for the application program interface, and is not limited thereto.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of a first type of operation interface according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 3, in an embodiment, the first type of operation interface includes an operation interface 31. The operation interface 31 may be an operation interface provided at the mobile device end for an application program (e.g., a mobile version of Netflix application program) supporting the playing of multimedia images, for example. For example, a plurality of operational objects 310, 320, 330 and 341-344 may be presented in the operation interface 31.
The actionable object 310 includes a program type detect object to trigger detection of a type of a first application. For example, in one embodiment, after the remote control program 201 of fig. 2 is started, the remote control program 201 may instruct the mobile device 12 to present an initial operation interface on the touch screen of the mobile device 12. Upon detecting that the user clicks on the manipulatable object 310, the remote control program 201 may start to detect the type of the application (i.e., the first application) run by the display device 11 of fig. 1 and present the operation interface 31 (or the operation interface 41 of fig. 4, or the operation interface 51 of fig. 5) according to the detection result.
The actionable items 320 include a plurality of virtual slide items. When the user is detected to click or touch the virtual sliding objects, the corresponding control signals can be sent out. In particular, the control signals may instruct the display device 11 to perform a screen sliding operation (e.g., sliding the screen up, down, left, or right) on the application interface of the presented first type application. This operation of frame sliding is similar to the touch operation behavior caused by the user of the mobile device 12 operating the sliding gesture on the touch screen or touch panel.
It should be noted that, in an embodiment, after the display device 11 starts playing the multimedia image according to the operation performed by the user on the application interface of the first type of application, the function of the operable object 320 may be changed. For example, after the multimedia image starts to be played, the manipulatable object 320 may instead provide a play control function for the multimedia image. For example, after the multimedia image is started to be played, when the user is detected to click the operable object 320, the correspondingly sent control signal can instruct the display device 11 to perform the play control functions of fast forward, rewind, pause/play, previous and next, and the like on the multimedia image.
The manipulatable object 330 includes a volume adjustment object. When the user is detected to click or drag the volume adjustment object, a corresponding control signal can be sent out. In particular, the control signals may instruct the display device 11 to adjust the volume of the output sound signal.
Actionable objects 341-344 include a plurality of system objects. For example, when the user clicks the operable object 341, the corresponding sent control signal may instruct the display device 11 to open a control panel or a control menu related to the first application. For example, when the user is detected to click the operable object 342, the corresponding sent control signal may instruct the display device 11 to respond to the home screen of the application program interface. For example, when the user clicks the operable item 343 is detected, the corresponding sent control signal may instruct the display device 11 to return to the previous page. For example, when the user is detected to click on the operable object 344, the corresponding sent control signal may instruct the display device 11 to turn on the on-screen keypad to input characters.
Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of a first type of operation interface according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 4, in an embodiment, the first type of operation interface includes an operation interface 41. The operation interface 41 may be an operation interface on the mobile device side provided for supporting web browsing or file management (e.g., mobile version of Google Chrome application), for example. It should be noted that the configuration of the operable objects in the operation interface 41 may be different from the configuration of the operable objects in the operation interface 31 of fig. 3. For example, a plurality of operational objects 310, 341-344, 410 and 421-424 can be presented in the operation interface 41. The operable objects 310, 341-344 are the same or similar to like numbered elements in FIG. 3. In one embodiment, the operation interface 41 may be presented according to the type of the application (i.e. the first application) run by the display device 11 of fig. 1 after the user clicks the operable object 310.
The manipulatable object 410 includes a virtual touchpad configured to detect a user's touch manipulation gesture. For example, when a touch operation gesture of a user on the virtual touch pad is detected, a corresponding control signal may be sent. In particular, the control signal may instruct the display device 11 to perform various touch operations such as screen sliding, screen zooming, and cursor moving on the application program interface of the presented first type of application program. The behavior of the touch operation performed by operating the actionable object 410 to instruct or drive the display device 11 may be the same as or different from the behavior of the touch operation performed by operating the display device 11 to instruct or drive the actionable object 320 of fig. 3.
The manipulatable objects 421-424 include a plurality of functional objects. For example, when the user is detected to click on the manipulatable object 421, the corresponding sent control signal may instruct the display device 11 to enlarge the application interface of the presented first type of application. For example, when the user is detected to click on the operable object 422, the corresponding sent control signal may instruct the display device 11 to zoom out the application interface of the presented first type of application. For example, when the user is detected to click on the operable object 423, the corresponding sent control signal may instruct the display device 11 to copy a specific content (e.g., the selected text content) in the application program interface of the presented first type of application program. For example, when the user is detected to click on the operable object 424, the corresponding sent control signal may instruct the display device 11 to paste the copied content.
Fig. 5 is a schematic diagram of an operation interface of the second type according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 5, in an embodiment, the second type of operation interface includes an operation interface 51. The operation interface 51 may be an operation interface provided at the mobile device end for an application program (e.g., a television version of Netflix application program) supporting the playing of multimedia images. It should be noted that the configuration of the operable objects in the operation interface 51 may be different from the configuration of the operable objects in the operation interface 31 of fig. 3 and the operation interface 41 of fig. 4. For example, the operation interface 51 may present a plurality of operable objects 310, 341-344 and 511-515. The operable objects 310, 341-344 are the same or similar to like numbered elements in FIG. 3. In one embodiment, the operation interface 51 may be presented according to the type of the application (i.e. the first application) run by the display device 11 of fig. 1 after the user clicks the operable object 310.
The actionable objects 511-515 include a plurality of virtual button objects. The virtual button objects can be used for simulating the object switching and object selection functions of a traditional physical remote controller. For example, when a user is detected to click on an actionable object 511-514, a corresponding control signal may be sent. In particular, the control signals may instruct the display device 11 to perform an object switching operation (e.g., switching the object to be selected up, down, left, and right) on a plurality of objects in the application interface of the presented first type of application. For example, when the user clicks on the operable object 515, the corresponding sent control signal may instruct the display device 11 to perform an object selection operation (e.g., perform a function of the currently selected object) on a certain object in the application program interface of the presented first type application program.
It should be noted that, according to the embodiments shown in fig. 3 and fig. 4, at least a portion of the objects presented in the first type of operation interface may be dynamically configured according to the type of the application currently running on the display device 11 shown in fig. 1 (for example, a mobile version of a multimedia player, a mobile version of a web browser, or other types of mobile versions of applications). Therefore, the first type of operation interface presented at the mobile device (i.e. the mobile device 12 in fig. 1) can more appropriately provide the operation function (e.g. touch operation function) corresponding to the application currently running on the display device 11.
In addition, compared to the embodiments of fig. 3 and fig. 4, in the embodiment of fig. 5, besides the second type of operation interface can be configured according to the type of the application currently running on the display device 11 (e.g. a tv-version multimedia player), at least some of the objects provided in the second type of operation interface can also be used to simulate physical buttons on a traditional physical remote controller. Thus, when the objects in the second type of operation interface are triggered (e.g., clicked), the correspondingly sent control signals may instruct the display device 11 to perform a button operation function similar to that triggered by pressing the physical buttons on the conventional physical remote controller.
Fig. 6 is a flowchart illustrating a display control method according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 6, in step S601, a remote control procedure is started. In step S602, the type of the application program executed by the display device is detected by the remote control program. In step S603, according to the type of the application program, the remote control program presents one of the first type of operation interface and the second type of operation interface on the operation interface of the mobile device, so that the operation function provided by the operation interface meets the operation requirement of the application program interface. In step S604, the operation behavior of the user on the operation interface is detected by the remote control program. In step S605, the remote control program transmits a control signal to the display device according to the operation behavior, so that the display device operates the application program interface according to the control signal.
However, the steps in fig. 6 have been described in detail above, and are not described again here. It is to be noted that, the steps in fig. 6 can be implemented as a plurality of program codes or circuits, and the invention is not limited thereto. In addition, the method of fig. 6 can be used with the above embodiments, or can be used alone, and the invention is not limited thereto.
In summary, the display control method and the display control system provided in the embodiments of the present invention can dynamically present a suitable operation interface on the mobile device according to the type of the application currently running on the display device. The operation interface can be used for a user at the mobile device end to instruct the display device to operate the presented application program interface by operating the operation interface, such as simulating a touch operation behavior or executing a traditional button operation behavior. Therefore, the compatibility and the convenience of the mobile device in the operation control of different types of application programs presented by the remote display device can be improved.
Finally, it should be noted that: the above embodiments are only used to illustrate the technical solution of the present invention, and not to limit the same; while the invention has been described in detail and with reference to the foregoing embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that: the technical solutions described in the foregoing embodiments may still be modified, or some or all of the technical features may be equivalently replaced; and the modifications or the substitutions do not make the essence of the corresponding technical solutions depart from the scope of the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention.
