Description

Wiper blade for windshield wiper
Technical Field
The invention relates to a wiper blade for a windshield wiper with reduced noise generation during a wiping operation and to a windshield wiper having such a wiper blade.
Background
Wiper blades for windshield wipers are known from the prior art in different designs. In operation, the wiper lip of a wiper blade typically slides over the glass. Due to the friction and possible vibrations of the wiper blade associated therewith, noise generation in different frequency ranges, in particular in the range of 40 hz to 800 hz, can occur during the wiping operation. In this case, studies carried out within the scope of the invention have shown that undesirable operating noises can occur if the wiper element is fastened too firmly. It is therefore desirable for the wiper blade to have no or only reduced noise generation during operation.
Disclosure of Invention
In contrast, a wiper blade according to the invention with a windshield wiper having the features of claim 1 has the following advantages: noise generation during operation of the wiper blade can be significantly reduced. In particular, oscillations and vibrations of the wiper blade during operation, in which the wiper blade runs across a window or the like and is pressed against the window with a certain contact pressure, can be avoided. This is achieved according to the invention in that at least one damping element is arranged between a support tab of the spoiler and at least one connecting tab of the wiper element body. The damping element can be produced by co-extrusion from the same material as the material of the spoiler or from a material having a very low coefficient of friction in order to ensure that the wiper element can be moved in the longitudinal direction in a simple manner, so that movement or transient noises can be reduced or even completely avoided. Furthermore, the width tolerance of the spoiler gap can be taken into account by providing at least one damping element. If the two lateral supporting webs of the spoiler clamp the wiper element too firmly, this clamping occurs only locally due to the damping element, and since the friction of the damping element is very low, a longitudinal movement of the wiper element can still be ensured.
Since, advantageously, due to this clamping only "locally", the width between the two lateral support webs can either be designed to be slightly less narrow or narrower, it is ensured that the wiping lip of the wiper element can remain in contact with the carrier element during a reverse movement. Since optionally both sides of the wiper element can be equipped with at least one damping element (preferably with a plurality of damping elements) such that both damping elements can slide over each other, it can be ensured that the wiping lip of the wiper element remains in contact with the carrier element during the reverse movement. Furthermore, according to the invention, it is provided that the main body has two spaced-apart connection tabs and the spoiler has two spaced-apart support tabs which are arranged adjacent to the connection tabs of the main body while maintaining the resulting spacing. The idea according to the invention is therefore to arrange at least one damping element between at least one connecting web of the main body and at least one support web of the spoiler.
The dependent claims show advantageous developments of the invention.
It is preferably possible for the connecting web and the support web to be each oriented at least approximately parallel to one another.
Preferably, the damping element can be designed as a bulge or projection, which is preferably designed at least in a manner similar to a ball.
Furthermore, it is preferably possible for the damping element to be arranged only on one side between the at least one connecting web and the at least one supporting web.
Alternatively, however, it is also possible to provide a plurality of damping elements, which may be provided on both sides of the connecting webs and the support webs.
One or more damping elements may be mounted on either the at least one connection tab or the at least one support tab.
If a plurality of damping elements are provided, it is also possible for these to be mounted both on the support lugs and on the connection lugs. For example, it is possible here for two damping elements to be mounted on the body of the wiper element and for one damping element to be mounted on the support tab of the spoiler, wherein in this case it can be considered that the damping element of the spoiler projects into the intermediate space between the two damping elements of the retaining body.
Furthermore, it is possible according to the invention that the damping element or the damping elements extend only over a part of the length of the wiper element or alternatively over the entire length of the wiper element. This results in the following advantages: according to the invention, it is possible to adapt the structure of the respective wiper element of the wiper blade in a simple manner. .
Finally, the damping element or elements can be made of the same material as the material of the spoiler.
Alternatively, a material with a very low coefficient of friction can also be selected as the material of the damping element or elements.
The invention further relates to a windshield wiper, in particular of a vehicle, having a wiper blade according to the invention. The windshield wiper is preferably designed as a front-glass or rear-glass windshield wiper. The vehicle is preferably a motor vehicle.

In the following, two preferred embodiments of a wiper blade 1 according to the invention are described in detail with reference to fig. 1 to 3.
A wiper blade 1 of a vehicle comprises a wiper element 2 on which a spoiler 6 is arranged as shown in fig. 1 to 3. The wiper blade 1 is connected to a wiper arm, not shown, of a windshield wiper by means of an adapter 7.
The wiper element 2 of the wiper blade 1 can be seen in detail in fig. 2 and 3.
As is shown in particular in fig. 2, the wiper element 2 comprises a wiping lip 20, a body 21 and a retaining region 22. In this embodiment, the scraping lip 20, the body 21 and the holding area 22 are made of the same material.
The wiper blade 1 further comprises a stiffening device 3, which is visible in detail in fig. 2 and 3. The reinforcing device 3 includes a first reinforcing plate 31 and a second reinforcing plate 32. As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the two reinforcement plates 31, 32 extend parallel to each other and have a length corresponding to the length of the wiper element 2.
Here, the two reinforcing plates 31, 32 are held in the intermediate space between the holding region 22 and the main body 21. The holding region 22 has a T-shape in cross section. The reinforcing plates 31, 32 can be clamped between the cross-members of the T-shape of the body region 22 and the upper side of the body 21.
The wiper element 2 further has a through-opening 4 which extends in the longitudinal direction of the wiper element 2. The through-opening 4 is formed only in the body 21 of the wiper element 2 and extends over the entire length of the wiper element 2.
