Description

Wiper blade adapter
Technical Field
The invention relates to a wiper blade adapter of the generic type according to the independent patent claim.
Background
The wiper blade is connected to the wiper arm via a wiper blade adapter for mounting and replacing the wiper blade on the vehicle. The wiper blade adapter serves inter alia to transmit lateral guide forces from the wiper arm to the wiper blade during a wiping movement and in many embodiments can execute a rotational movement via a rotational joint, so that the wiper blade can be adapted to the inclination and curvature of the window pane during the wiping movement.
Other wiper blades are also known in the prior art, which have a nozzle for applying a cleaning fluid to a window pane and in which a supply line for the cleaning fluid can be guided by a wiper arm through a wiper blade adapter and can be releasably connected to the wiper blade adapter. Likewise, electrical connection lines to wiper blades, for example for heating, are known from the prior art as a protective measure against freezing of the cleaning fluid.
From US 2014 331437 A1, an assembly for a windscreen wiper system is known, which has a wiper blade adapter of a wiper blade, which can carry out a rotational movement between a wiper arm and the wiper blade, wherein the wiper blade adapter is designed to hydraulically and/or electrically connect an interface of the wiper blade with the wiper arm. The connection interface on the wiper arm can be twisted between an installation position and a working position, wherein the connection interface is guided on the wiper arm by a projection in the cutout and has a hydraulic connection as well as an electrical connection.
Disclosure of Invention
A wiper blade adapter having the features of independent claim 1 has the following advantages: the wiper arm can be connected to the wiper arm holder in the installed position without the supply connection, such as an electrical connection and/or a line connection for cleaning fluid, having to be connected to the supply line of the wiper arm first. The wiper blade adapter and the connected wiper blade can be mounted on the wiper arm more easily by means of an angled position. The wiper arm holder is then twisted about an angle and thereby aligns the supply line of the wiper arm to the respective supply port in the supply port mount of the wiper blade adapter. In this case, when the wiper arm holder is then displaced linearly relative to the supply connection carrier until it reaches the operating position, the feed lines of the wiper arm and of the supply connection carrier are then connected to one another. In the operating position of the wiper arm holder, the wiper blade adapter and the wiper blade connected thereto are operated, for example, on a window pane of a vehicle. Advantageously, the wiper arm holder or the wiper blade adapter can be designed such that it is compatible with a simple linear insertion of a wiper arm provided for a further connecting system, for example. The features and advantages described can be achieved only by a corresponding design of the wiper arm adapter. It is also advantageous to mount the wiper arm intuitively on the wiper blade adapter and the wiper blade connected thereto and by establishing a connection with the feed line of the wiper arm during the guided, linear thrust movement, a high reliability and ease of execution of the engagement of the supply interface can be achieved.
Advantageously, the feed line of the wiper arm is coupled to or uncoupled from the supply connection only by a distance. This makes it possible to easily establish a connection, since in this way the supply line and the connection interface are aligned exactly to one another and, for example, a plug connection can be easily introduced.
In an advantageous embodiment, the wiper arm holder can be rotated from the installation position about an angle into the intermediate position and can be displaced from the intermediate position over a distance into the operating position. This gives: the two movements are strictly separated, the connection of the supply line to the supply connection can be easily established in the thrust movement, and the installation possibilities can be intuitively recognized in the installation position.
In the mounted position, the inserted wiper arm can be pivoted towards the wiper blade by a rotation about the angle.
Advantageously, the wiper arm holder has an inverted U-profile in cross section, the supply connection socket being located in the interior of the profile. The wiper arm holder is thereby guided via the supply connection mount and via the lateral flanks can transmit a guiding force from the wiper arm to the wiper blade adapter and thus to the wiper blade in the operating position.
In an advantageous embodiment, the guide cams arranged on the supply connection carrier are guided in a sliding groove, in particular an L-shaped sliding groove, of the wiper arm holder, by means of which a possible displacement and rotation is determined. The guide projection and the slide groove may be arranged on both sides. The separate thrust and rotational movements are thus precisely defined and determined. In this case, the link guide can cooperate with the second linear link guide of the wiper arm holder in such a way that during the thrust movement in each case one guide cam is displaced in both link guides and then during the second link guide the guide cam rests against a stop in the other L-shaped link guide, a rotation about the angle can be achieved by a movement of the guide cam perpendicular to the original direction. In addition and alternatively, it is also conceivable in each case for a sliding groove to be provided in the supply connection mount, into which sliding groove the projection of the wiper arm holder engages.
The wiper arm holder can be completely received by the end section of the wiper arm.
Advantageously, the supply connection mount has a head end on which a front surface of the end section of the wiper arm rests flush with the outer surface in the operating position.
The supply connection of the supply connection mount can be arranged on the side facing away from the head end. This results in an open head end, at which the respective feed line can be placed in the wiper arm.
Advantageously, a rotary joint is arranged between the adapter upper part and the adapter lower part. The wiper blade adapter thus provides the rotary joint necessary for the movability of the wiper blade relative to the window pane, which is completely independent of the twistability during the mounting of the wiper arm.
Drawings
An embodiment is shown in the drawings and is described in detail below. Wherein:
figure 1 shows an assembly consisting of a wiper blade adapter with a wiper blade and a wiper arm,
figure 2 shows the assembly partially transparent in a second view,
figure 3 shows the wiper blade adapter with the wiper arm retaining portion in the mounted position,
figure 4 shows the wiper blade adapter with the wiper arm retaining portion in an intermediate position,
fig. 5 shows a wiper blade adapter with a wiper arm holder in an operating position and
fig. 6 shows a portion of the wiper blade adapter laterally.
Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows an assembly consisting of a wiper blade adapter 1 with a wiper blade 2 and an end section 3 of a wiper arm 4. The adapter lower part 5 is connected to a wiper blade 1 which has a spoiler 6. The wiper arm 5 is connected with its end section 3 to an adapter upper part 7, which is embodied in two parts and is composed of a supply connection carrier 8 and a wiper arm holder, not visible here. The end section 4 is held on the wiper arm holder by a locking button 10 of the adapter upper part 7, which button projects into the recess 9.
Via a supply line, not visible here, of the wiper arm 4, the cleaning fluid is supplied to the wiper blade 1 and is applied to the window pane as a spray jet 11 via a nozzle.
Fig. 2 shows the assembly partially transparent in a second view. The wiper blade adapter 1 and the wiper blade 2 are connected via an adapter lower part 5. The adapter upper part 7 has a supply connection mount 8 with a head end 12 and, on the side facing away from the head end 12, a supply connection 13 for the supply line of the wiper arm 4. The wiper arm 4 is fitted with its end section 3 on a wiper arm holder 14 and is held thereon via a locking button 10. Via the supply connection 13, the wiper blade adapter 1 and the connecting line 15, cleaning fluid is supplied for the spray jet 11.
Fig. 3 shows the wiper blade adapter 1 with the wiper arm retaining portion 14 in a mounted position for attaching and fastening a wiper arm, not shown. The wiper arm holder 14 is twisted with respect to the service connection carrier 8 with its head end 12 at an angle such that the inserted wiper arm is rotated in the direction of the wiper blade 2. However, for example, a rotation in the opposite direction can also be provided. Furthermore, the wiper arm holder 14 is pushed away from its head end 12 by a distance relative to the supply connection carrier 8. The locking button 10 is arranged on a spring-loaded section 16 of the wiper arm holder 14, so that it can be pressed downward for mounting or dismounting the wiper arm.
A guide cam 18, which is arranged on the supply connection carrier 8, is guided in an L-shaped sliding groove 17 of the wiper arm holder 14. The twisting about said angle is achieved by the vertical part of the L-shaped runner 17 in the figures.
Fig. 4 shows the wiper blade adapter 1 with the wiper arm holder 14 in an intermediate position, after the wiper arm 4 has been put on and has been pivoted upward about the angle in the mounting position of fig. 3. In this case, the guide cams 18 in the L-shaped slotted guide 17 can only be rotated about the angle indicated by the arrow until the wiper arm holder 14 reaches the supply connection carrier 8 in this intermediate position. The end section 3 in the example shown completely covers the wiper arm holder 14. The supply line for the cleaning fluid and optionally also the electrical connection plug of the wiper arm 3, which is not shown here, are aligned with the supply port 13 of the supply port carrier 8, but are not yet connected thereto.
Fig. 5 shows the wiper blade adapter 1 with the wiper arm holder 14 in an operating position, in which the wiper blade 2 is operated, for example, on a window pane of a vehicle. As indicated by the arrow and guided by the guide cams 18 of the L-shaped slotted guide 17, the wiper arm holder 14 with the end section 3 of the wiper arm 4 is pushed in the direction of the head end 12 of the supply connection carrier 8 until it strikes against said head end. By this displacement movement, the supply connection 13 is connected to the feed line of the wiper arm 4. Since this movement is guided by the L-shaped sliding groove 17, no jamming occurs and the engagement can be easily established.
The end section 3 of the wiper arm 4 runs flush against the head end 12 and likewise runs flush with its outer surface against the outer surface of the head end 12.
Fig. 6 shows a portion of the wiper blade adapter 1 laterally. The adapter lower part 5 is connected to the adapter upper part 7 via a pivot joint 19, which here shows the supply connection mount 8, which, when the wiper blade 2 is in operation, can be adapted to the angle of the wiper arm. The supply connection carrier 8 has a bevel 20, which enables the wiper arm holder 14 to be pivoted into the installation position. Furthermore, connecting lines 15 are shown, with which cleaning fluid is conducted from the supply connection carrier 8 into the adapter lower part 5.
