Description

Network access method, terminal and network side equipment
Technical Field
The application belongs to the technical field of communication technology, and particularly relates to a network access method, a terminal and network side equipment.
Background
In general, a 5G independent non-public network (SNPN) subscribed terminal is not supported to access a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN). However, in the emergency service scenario, the terminal is allowed to register emergency with the PLMN network.
In the related art, when accessing the PLMN for service, the terminal only uses the terminal identifier in International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) format. But if the PLMN ID of the SNPN to which the terminal is subscribed is not unique, an additional Network Identification (NID) is required to identify the terminal to support authentication that may occur. However, PLMN networks do not currently support emergency services in NID and network-specific identifier (NSI) formats. Therefore, how to uniquely identify a terminal when the SNPN subscribed terminal accesses the PLMN needs to be solved.

The network access method provided by the embodiments of the present application is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings through some embodiments and application scenarios thereof.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a network access method according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 2, the network access method is executed by a terminal. The network access method comprises the following steps:
200, under the condition that a first condition is met, the terminal executes a first operation;

In another embodiment, the first condition includes at least one of:

In an optional embodiment of the present invention, the PLMN ID in the first type of identity of the terminal comprises at least one of: a PLMN ID of a home network of the terminal, a PLMN ID of a network to which the first type identifier is assigned.
In one embodiment, when the first type identifier is a permanent end user identifier (such as sui, or SUPI, or IMSI), the PLMN ID in the first type identifier is the PLMN ID of the terminal's home network. In one embodiment, when the first type identifier is a temporary end user identifier (e.g., GUTI, or 5G-GUTI), the PLMN ID in the first type identifier is a PLMN ID of a network to which the temporary end user identifier is assigned.
In an optional embodiment of the present invention, a network of a first type identifier is allocated to the terminal, such as a network serving the terminal, and at this time, the allocated first type identifier includes a temporary end user identifier, such as an end user identifier related to a globally unique temporary identifier, GUTI; temporary mobile subscriber identity S-TMSI related end user identity.
In an optional embodiment of the invention, the network allocating the first type of identity comprises at least one of: the home network of the terminal, the network to which the temporary terminal user identity (i.e. the first type identity) is assigned.
In one embodiment, the identification information of the home network of the terminal includes a PLMN ID and a NID, and if the PLMN ID of the home network of the terminal is not unique, for example, the IMSI of two terminals of different home networks may be the same, and if two terminals access the first network using the IMSI, the first network will not be able to distinguish between the two terminals. In one embodiment, the terminal is therefore unable to identify the network by the first type. Thus, in order to uniquely identify the terminal in the first network so that the terminal can access the first network, additional NIDs may need to be employed to identify the terminal to support authentication that may occur. However, this method cannot be implemented if the first network does not support NID. Therefore, the present embodiment proposes that the terminal accesses the first network using the first type identifier and/or does not access the first network using the third type identifier if the first condition is satisfied.
In one embodiment, the first network is accessed using the first type identifier and/or the first network is accessed without using the third type identifier if the PLMN ID of the terminal's home network is unique and/or the first network does not support the network identification code NID.
In one embodiment, the PLMN ID of the home network of the terminal is not unique, but said first network supports obtaining the network identification number NID of the home network of the terminal by means other than the first type of identity, the first type of identity being used by the terminal for accessing the first network and/or the third type of identity not being used for accessing the first network.
In one embodiment, if the PLMN ID in the first type identifier of the terminal is not unique, but the first network supports obtaining the network identifier NID of the network to which the first type identifier is assigned by means other than the first type identifier, the first network is accessed using the first type identifier, and/or the first network is accessed without using the third type identifier.
It should be noted that the first network support obtaining the network identification code NID of the home network of the terminal by means other than the first type identifier implicitly discloses that the first network supports NID.
Optionally, the first condition further comprises at least one of:

the terminal does not have a terminal temporary user identifier allocated by a first network;
the terminal accesses a first network by adopting the subscriber data of the home network;
wherein the network type of the second network is an independent non-public network SNPN.
It is understood that the terminal determines a terminal identification type (e.g., a first type identification, a second type identification, or a third type identification) for accessing the first network according to the information (e.g., identification information, and/or network type) of the home network, and may determine that the terminal accesses the first network using the subscriber data of the home network.
It is to be appreciated that the terminal is allowed to access the first network in case at least one of the above first conditions is fulfilled.
