Various multimedia platforms such as audio and video can provide audio and video services for a display terminal of a user, but due to the large data volume of the audio and video, the multimedia platform is prone to have insufficient network bandwidth in the process of responding to the request of the display terminal. Therefore, the embodiment of the present invention provides an information configuration scheme, which configures information for a cache application for an edge device.
In addition, if the display terminals of multiple users request the same video data at the same time, the multimedia platform needs to send the video data to multiple display terminals, so that the bandwidth occupied by the multimedia platform is too large.

The above-mentioned caching application is used for caching the multimedia data used for responding to the request of the display terminal on the edge device. For example, the platform device caches the video data in the edge device through a cache application installed on the edge device, and when the presentation terminal requests the multimedia platform for the video data, the multimedia platform may instruct the edge device to respond to the request based on the cached video data. The target edge device may be configured to deploy a caching application, and further, cache the video data, and the target edge device may also be configured to deploy a service application, which is described in detail below as an embodiment for deploying a service application, and will not be described in detail herein.
In one implementation manner, the platform device may first record first application information of the storage cache application, and in this case, when the first application information of the storage cache application needs to be obtained, the platform device directly reads and obtains the first application information from the cached information.
An implementation of obtaining the first performance information is described below.
In one implementation, the platform device sends a first performance information obtaining request to the target edge device according to a device identifier of the target edge device, and the target edge device returns current first performance information to the platform device after receiving the first performance information obtaining request.
In another implementation, the target edge device continuously sends the first performance information to the platform device at certain time intervals. And after the platform equipment receives the first performance information, the platform equipment specifies a position in the database to record the first performance information of the target edge equipment. When the first performance information of the target edge device needs to be obtained, the platform device may directly search the first performance information of the target edge device from the database. The platform device continuously obtains the data of the edge device in a timing mode, and the platform device uniformly manages and arranges, so that the process of obtaining each piece of information is simplified, and the operation and maintenance of the system are simplified.
Specifically, the platform device and the target edge device may establish a connection. The connection may be HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol), so that the target edge device may send the first performance information to the platform device through the HTTP connection.
Step S102: and determining the number of instances of the cache application to be created when the cache application is deployed on the target edge device according to the first performance information and the first application information.
After the edge device installs the caching application, an instance needs to be created for the caching application, and then multimedia data caching is performed through the instance. When the target edge device creates an instance of the caching application, the platform device allocates certain device resources to the created instance, so that the platform device can cache the multimedia data in the target edge device by using the device resources allocated to the instance. The size of the device resources provided by the target edge device for each instance of the created caching application can be adjusted in a customized manner, and is related to the declared resource amount of each instance.
Specific implementations for determining the number of the above examples are described below.
In one implementation, the available device resources of the target edge device are obtained according to the first performance information, and then the number of instances of the cache application to be created by the target edge device is determined according to the available device resources and the first application information. In an implementation manner, the number of instances for the cache application may be configured for the target edge device directly according to the number of instances obtained in step S102. Specifically, the platform device may send the number of the instances to the target edge device, and then the target edge device may record the number of the instances in its configuration file. When an instance needs to be created, the target edge device may create an instance according to the number of instances recorded in the configuration file. For example, if the number of instances is 5, the target edge device may create 5 instances of the caching application.
On the basis of the implementation manner, the platform device may configure other information besides the number of instances for the target edge device. Specifically, the configured information may further include at least one of the following information: caching startup parameters of the application, network configuration parameters and other configuration parameters and the like. According to the memory information contained in the first performance information, the operating environment information of the device system, the information indicating whether the system supports the container environment, the network information, the operating environment information of the cache application of the first application information, the starting condition and the like, the platform device can also configure the starting parameters, the network configuration parameters and the like of the cache application, so that when the cache application is started on the target edge device, the starting of the cache application can be completed according to the starting parameters, and the network connection of the cache application can also be configured according to the network configuration parameters.

Step S104: second application information of each service application for providing the multimedia service to the presentation terminal is obtained.
The multimedia platform can provide a plurality of multimedia services for the display terminal used by the user, for example, a plurality of audio and video data transmission lines are provided for the display terminal, text data synchronized with video and live playback and other services are provided for the display terminal, the services are respectively realized through different software modules, and the software modules can be called as service applications.
In one implementation, the platform device obtains the pre-recorded second application information from a database. The second application information may include running environment information, starting conditions, network requirement information, deployment geographic location requirement information, declared resource information of the service application, and the like of the service application.

In one implementation manner, the platform device matches second application information of each service application with first performance information of a target edge device, determines remaining device resource information of the target edge device according to total device resource information in the first performance information, device resource information required by cache application of the first application information, and device resource information required by each instance if the first performance information of the target edge device can be successfully matched with the second application information of the service application, and takes the service application as the target service application if it is determined that the remaining device resource can be used for deploying the service application based on the remaining device resource information and declaration resource information in the second application information.
The following describes a process of matching the second application information and the first performance information in the above implementation manner.
For example, the running environment information, the start condition information, the declaration resource information, and the like in the second application information may be matched with the CPU model, the CPU core number, the CPU architecture information, the memory information, the storage space information, the running environment information of the device system, information indicating whether the system supports the container environment, the network information, the installed application information on the current target edge device, and the like in the first performance information.
If so, judging whether the CPU model, the CPU core number, the CPU architecture information and the memory information of the target edge device meet the starting condition information of the second application information; judging whether the running environment information of the equipment system, the information indicating whether the system supports the container environment and the network information meet the running environment information in the second application information; and judging whether the available equipment resource information in the target edge equipment meets the declaration resource information in the second application information, and if the judgment results are all met, considering that the two are successfully matched.

The configuration information may include the start parameters of the service application, the network configuration parameters, other configuration parameters, and the like.
Specifically, the platform device may send the configuration information to the target edge device, and after receiving the configuration information, the target edge device may store the configuration information in a configuration file, and then the target edge device may deploy the target service application based on the information recorded in the configuration file. For example, an instance of the target service application is created from information recorded in the configuration file, and so on.
In one implementation, when configuring configuration information for the target service application for the target edge device, the platform device establishes a tag between the target service application and the target edge device. The label indicates that the target service application has an association relationship with the target edge device. If the configuration information of the target service application is updated, the platform device can directly find the target edge device associated with the target service application through the tag, and send the updated configuration information of the target service application to the target edge device.
As can be seen from the above, in the solution provided by the embodiment of the present invention, the service application may be deployed in the target edge device, and the service application deployed according to the second application information and the first performance information fully utilizes available device resources in the edge device, which are used for deploying other than the cache application, and can more fully utilize device resources in the target edge device.

On the basis of the implementation manner, the platform device may store the obtained available resource information record of the target edge device in a database in real time. If the platform device needs to deploy other service applications on the target edge device, the platform device does not need to repeatedly obtain the available resource information again, and can directly obtain the stored available resource information from the database.
The platform device may record and store the available resource information corresponding to each target edge device in the database according to the above implementation manner each time the application in the target edge device is updated. In this way, when the platform device needs to deploy the cache application or the service application on the target edge device, the available resource information of the target edge device can be directly read and obtained from the database.

Therefore, certain available resources are reserved for the equipment, and available resources capable of performing other operations are reserved for the target edge equipment.
In addition, since the method for determining the number of instances of the cache application that can be created in the available resource in the target edge device by the platform device is similar for each edge device, an instance determination plug-in may be manufactured according to the method, so as to simplify the calculation of the platform device.
As can be seen from the above, in the solution provided in the embodiment of the present invention, when the target edge device deploys the target service application, the platform device determines the available resource information of the target edge device, and according to the available resource information, increases the number of instances created by the cache application as much as possible, thereby ensuring normal operation of the service application, and increasing the number of instances of the cache application as much as possible, and increasing the device resource utilization rate of the edge device.

The second performance information is similar to the first performance information described above, except that the second performance information characterizes performance information of the candidate edge device and the first performance information characterizes performance information of the target edge device.
A process of matching the first application information and the second performance information is explained below.
For example, the running environment information and the start condition information in the first application information, the device resource information required by the cache application, and the device resource information required by each instance, etc. may be matched with the CPU model, the number of CPU cores, the CPU architecture information, the memory information, the storage space information, the running environment information, the information indicating whether the system supports the container environment, the network information, and the installed application information on the current target edge device, etc. in the second performance information.
If so, judging whether the CPU model, the CPU core number, the CPU architecture information and the memory information of the target edge device meet the starting condition information in the first application information; judging whether the operating environment information of the equipment system, the information indicating whether the system supports the container environment and the network information meet the operating environment information in the first application information; and judging whether the available equipment resource information in the target edge equipment can enable the target edge equipment to establish at least one instance of the cache application, and if the judgment results are all satisfied, considering that the two are successfully matched.
Therefore, the system, the hardware and the like of the selected target edge device are matched and are more suitable for running of the cache application, so that the platform device can more reasonably configure information for the cache application deployed on the target edge device, and unreasonable configuration is reduced. Likewise, the caching application is deployed with a suitable edge device, such that device resources are efficiently utilized.
In addition, the method for matching the first application information and the second performance information by the platform device is similar to that for each edge device, and a filter plug-in can be manufactured according to the matching method for filtering the edge devices which cannot deploy the cache application. The plug-in can be a Node Lables plug-in.
As can be seen from the above, the scheme provided by the embodiment of the present invention uses the target edge device selected by the geographic location information, and can deploy the cache application on the target edge device in the designated area by using the geographic location information, thereby reducing the network delay and improving the user experience.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the step S103 can be implemented by the following steps D-F.
Step D: and obtaining the download link of the cache application.
The download link may be an HTML (hypertext Markup Language) download link, or may be a magnetic link.
In one implementation, the platform device generates a download link of the cache application in advance, and stores the download link in the database, and the platform device can directly obtain the download link from the database.
In another implementation manner, the installation program of the cache application is stored in another server, and the platform device generates the download link according to the server where the installation program of the cache application is located.
Step E: and generating a package file containing the download link and the number of the instances.
And the platform equipment encodes and packages the download link and the number of the instances.
The package file includes the download link and the number of the instances, and may further include a start parameter of the cache application, a network configuration parameter, and other configuration parameters.
Step F: and sending the package file to the target edge device.
In one implementation, the platform device may send the packet file to the target edge device through HTTP. In addition, the platform device may also update the data of the target edge device in the database after updating the application in the target edge device.
In another implementation, the package file is sent to a long link server, so that the long link server sends the package file to the target edge device through a long link between the long link server and the target edge device.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 4, fig. 4 provides a schematic structural diagram of a multimedia service system, and the number of edge devices shown in fig. 4 may be multiple. The long link between the long link server and each edge device shown in fig. 4 may be an MQTT (Message Queuing telemeasuring Transport protocol) long link. The long link server defines Topic (Topic) for the platform equipment based on MQTT according to the serial number of the platform equipment, and each edge equipment can obtain the instruction of the platform equipment after subscribing the Topic. The platform device can send data to each edge device through the long link server and the MQTT long link. The platform device may also send the package file to the target edge device. For example, the long link server receives a platform command from a platform device, and sends the platform command to an edge device subscribing to Topic of the platform device. Therefore, the long chain connector keeps the platform equipment and the edge equipment connected, so that the instruction can be sent to the edge equipment in time, and the control capability of the platform equipment on the edge equipment can be improved.
As can be seen from the above, by sending the download link of the cache application to the target edge device, the data transmission amount between the platform device and the edge device is reduced, and the network pressure between the platform device and the edge device is reduced.
Corresponding to the information configuration method, the embodiment of the invention also provides an information configuration device.
In an embodiment of the present invention, referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 provides a schematic structural diagram of an information configuring apparatus, where the apparatus includes:
a first information obtaining module 501, configured to obtain first performance information of a target edge device to which a cache application is to be deployed and first application information of the cache application, where the cache application is used to cache, on the edge device, multimedia data used for responding to a request of a display terminal.
An instance number determining module 502, configured to determine, according to the first performance information and the first application information, a number of instances of a cache application to be created when the cache application is deployed on the target edge device.
An instance number configuring module 503, configured to configure, according to the number of instances, the number of instances for the cache application for the target edge device, so that the target edge device creates an instance of the cache application according to the configured number of instances.
As can be seen from the above, in the solution provided in the embodiment of the present invention, the data according to which the number of instances of the cache application to be created on the target edge device is determined includes the first performance information and the first application information, where the first performance information indicates the performance characteristic information of the target edge device, and the first application information represents the application information of the cache application itself and can represent the running characteristic information of the cache application to a certain extent.
As can be seen from the above, in the solution provided in the embodiment of the present invention, the data according to which the number of instances of the cache application to be created on the target edge device is determined includes the first performance information and the first application information, where the first performance information indicates the performance characteristic information of the target edge device, and the first application information represents the application information of the cache application itself and can represent the operation characteristic information of the cache application to a certain extent.
In an embodiment of the present invention, referring to fig. 6, fig. 6 provides a schematic structural diagram of another information configuration apparatus, and on the basis of the apparatus provided in fig. 5, the apparatus further includes:
a second information obtaining module 504, configured to obtain second application information of each service application used for providing a multimedia service to the display terminal.
A service application selecting module 505, configured to select, according to the obtained second application information, the first performance information, and the first application information, a target service application to be deployed to the target edge device from the service applications.
An information configuration module 506, configured to configure configuration information for the target service application for the target edge device, so that the target edge device deploys the target service application according to the configuration information.
As can be seen from the above, in the scheme provided by the embodiment of the present invention, the service application may be deployed in the target edge device, and the service application deployed according to the second application information and the first performance information fully utilizes the available device resources in the edge device used for deploying other than the cache application, and can more fully utilize the device resources in the target edge device.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the instance number determining module 502 is specifically configured to obtain declared resource information of the target service application; determining available resource information of the target edge device according to the statement resource information and the first performance information; and determining the number of the instances of the cache application to be created when the cache application is deployed on the target edge device according to the available resource information and the first application information.
As can be seen from the above, in the solution provided in the embodiment of the present invention, when the target edge device deploys the target service application, the platform device determines the available resource information of the target edge device, and according to the available resource information, increases the number of instances created by the cache application as much as possible, thereby ensuring normal operation of the service application, and increasing the number of instances of the cache application as much as possible, and increasing the device resource utilization rate of the edge device.
In one embodiment of the invention, the target edge device is determined by:
obtaining geographical position information of each edge device;
determining candidate edge equipment in an area where the cache application is to be deployed according to the obtained geographic position information;
and according to the first application information of the cache application and the second performance information of the candidate edge devices, selecting the edge device which supports the creation of at least one instance of the cache application from the candidate edge devices as a target edge device.
As can be seen from the above, the scheme provided by the embodiment of the present invention uses the target edge device selected by the geographic location information, and can deploy the cache application on the target edge device in the designated area by using the geographic location information, thereby reducing the network delay and improving the user experience.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the instance number configuring module 503 includes:
a download link obtaining unit, configured to obtain a download link of the cache application;
a package file generating unit configured to generate a package file including the download link and the number of instances;
and the packet file sending unit is used for sending the packet file to the target edge equipment.
As can be seen from the above, by sending the download link of the cache application to the target edge device, the data transmission amount between the platform device and the edge device is reduced, and the network pressure between the platform device and the edge device is reduced.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the package file sending unit is specifically configured to send the package file to a long link server, so that the long link server sends the package file to the target edge device through a long link between the long link server and the target edge device.
Therefore, the platform equipment is kept connected with the edge equipment through the long chain connector, the instruction can be sent to the edge equipment in time, and the control capability of the platform equipment on the edge equipment can be improved.
An embodiment of the present invention further provides an electronic device, as shown in fig. 7, including a processor 701, a communication interface 702, a memory 703 and a communication bus 704, where the processor 701, the communication interface 702, and the memory 703 complete mutual communication through the communication bus 704,
a memory 703 for storing a computer program;
the processor 701 is configured to implement the method steps of the information configuration described in the above embodiments when executing the program stored in the memory 703.
The communication bus mentioned in the above terminal may be a Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) bus, an Extended Industry Standard Architecture (EISA) bus, or the like. The communication bus may be divided into an address bus, a data bus, a control bus, etc. For ease of illustration, only one thick line is shown, but this does not mean that there is only one bus or one type of bus.
The communication interface is used for communication between the terminal and other devices.
The Memory may include a Random Access Memory (RAM) or a non-volatile Memory (non-volatile Memory), such as at least one disk Memory. Optionally, the memory may also be at least one memory device located remotely from the processor.
The Processor may be a general-purpose Processor, including a Central Processing Unit (CPU), a Network Processor (NP), and the like; the device can also be a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) or other Programmable logic device, a discrete Gate or transistor logic device, or a discrete hardware component.
In another embodiment of the present invention, a computer-readable storage medium is further provided, in which a computer program is stored, and the computer program, when executed by a processor, implements the information configuring method described in any of the above embodiments.
In yet another embodiment provided by the present invention, there is also provided a computer program product containing instructions which, when run on a computer, cause the computer to perform the information configuration method described in any of the above embodiments.

Claims (9)

1. An information configuration method, the method comprising:
the method comprises the steps of obtaining first performance information of target edge equipment of a cache application to be deployed and first application information of the cache application, wherein the cache application is used for caching multimedia data used for responding to a request of a display terminal on the edge equipment;
determining the number of instances of the cache application to be created when the cache application is deployed on the target edge device according to the first performance information and the first application information;
and configuring the number of the instances of the cache application for the target edge device according to the number of the instances, so that the target edge device creates the instances of the cache application according to the configured number of the instances.
2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
obtaining second application information of service applications used for providing multimedia services for the display terminal;
selecting a target service application to be deployed to the target edge device from all service applications according to the obtained second application information, the first performance information and the first application information;
configuring configuration information for the target service application for the target edge device, so that the target edge device deploys the target service application according to the configuration information.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein the determining, from the first performance information and the first application information, a number of instances of a caching application to be created when deploying the caching application on the target edge device comprises:
obtaining declared resource information of the target service application;
determining available resource information of the target edge device according to the declaration resource information and the first performance information;
and determining the number of the instances of the cache application to be created when the cache application is deployed on the target edge device according to the available resource information and the first application information.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein the target edge device is determined by:
obtaining geographical position information of each edge device;
determining candidate edge equipment in an area where the cache application is to be deployed according to the obtained geographic position information;
and selecting edge equipment supporting the creation of at least one instance of the cache application from the candidate edge equipment as target edge equipment according to the first application information of the cache application and the second performance information of the candidate edge equipment.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein configuring the number of instances for the caching application for the target edge device according to the number of instances comprises:
obtaining a download link of the cache application;
generating a package file containing the download link and the number of instances;
and sending the package file to the target edge device.
6. The method of claim 5, wherein sending the package file to the target edge device comprises:
and sending the package file to a long link server so that the long link server sends the package file to the target edge device through the long link between the long link server and the target edge device.
7. An information configuration apparatus, the apparatus comprising:
the system comprises a first information obtaining module, a first display module and a second information obtaining module, wherein the first information obtaining module is used for obtaining first performance information of target edge equipment of a cache application to be deployed and first application information of the cache application, and the cache application is used for caching multimedia data used for responding to a request of a display terminal on the edge equipment;
an instance number determining module, configured to determine, according to the first performance information and the first application information, a number of instances of a cache application to be created when the cache application is deployed on the target edge device;
an instance number configuring module, configured to configure, for the target edge device, an instance number for the cache application according to the number of instances, so that the target edge device creates an instance of the cache application according to the configured instance number.
8. An electronic device is characterized by comprising a processor, a communication interface, a memory and a communication bus, wherein the processor and the communication interface are used for realizing mutual communication by the memory through the communication bus;
a memory for storing a computer program;
a processor for implementing the method steps of any of claims 1-6 when executing a program stored in the memory.
9. A computer-readable storage medium, characterized in that a computer program is stored in the computer-readable storage medium, which computer program, when being executed by a processor, carries out the method steps of any one of claims 1 to 6.
