Abstract

The invention provides a preparation method of an oleophylic inert material for plugging oil-based drilling fluid. The inert plugging material has strong hydrophilicity, is not easy to reside in the oil-based drilling fluid, has poor stability of a plugging layer and has unsatisfactory plugging effect. On the premise of keeping the original plugging performance, the modified inert material prepared by the invention has the advantages that the surface polymer absorbs oil and expands, has cohesiveness, can cohere with rocks of a leaking layer and an auxiliary plugging material, improves the staying property of the plugging material and the stability of the plugging layer, solves the problems of return spitting, re-leakage and the like of the plugging material, and meets the plugging requirement of the oil-based drilling fluid. The preparation method provided by the invention adopts a high-polymer high-temperature mixing method, is safe and simple, and is convenient for large-scale production. The invention also provides a lipophilic inert material for plugging the oil-based drilling fluid.

Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of oilfield chemistry, and particularly relates to a lipophilic inert material for plugging an oil-based drilling fluid and a preparation method thereof.
Background
Along with more and more complex stratums encountered by drilling of the oil-based drilling fluid, the fracture pores of the stratums encountered by drilling are more developed, the oil-based drilling fluid is seriously leaked, and the oil-based drilling fluid plugging material is suitable for research and development and application of oil-based drilling fluid plugging materials but develops slowly. For the leakage loss of the oil-based drilling fluid, the commonly used plugging material on site still takes the water-based drilling fluid plugging material as the main material. However, the plugging materials have strong hydrophilicity and poor compatibility in oil-based drilling fluid, so that the retention capacity of the plugging materials is insufficient, the anti-damage capacity of a plugging layer is poor, the backflow and the re-leakage are easy to occur, and the plugging effect is not ideal. The plugging material in the prior art does not have lipophilicity, oil absorption cohesiveness, and can not solve the problems of difficult material residence, poor stability of a plugging layer and the like in the plugging of the oil-based drilling fluid.

The invention is based on oleophylic modification of the surface of the plugging material, and mainly improves the acting force among the plugging material, the rock of the plugging layer and the plugging material through modification, thereby achieving the purpose of improving the retention capability of the plugging material and the stability of the plugging layer, and solving the problems of difficult retention, easy return and repeated leakage and the like of the plugging material. Example 1
30g of polyethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) powder and 70g of calcium carbonate powder are fully stirred and uniformly mixed, then mixed for 10-20 min at 150 ℃, cooled and granulated, and the particle size is 160-600 mu m, thus obtaining the surface oleophylic modified calcium carbonate powder.

Mixing 30g SBS and 70g limestone powder via stirring, milling at 180 deg.c for 10-20 min, cooling and forming to obtain surface lipophilic modified limestone powder of 160-600 micron size.

Performance detection
(1) Evaluation of plugging Property
The product prepared by the embodiment of the invention is subjected to related performance evaluation, and the result is as follows:
oil-based drilling fluid (density 1.5 g/cm) 3 ): diesel oil (oil-water ratio =80: 20) +3wt% organic soil +3wt% primary emulsion (provided by Zhongpetrochemical Central plains engineering driller house) +3wt% secondary emulsion (provided by Zhongpetrochemical Central plains engineering driller house) + CaCl 2 Solution (mass concentration is 20%) + barite, aging for 16h at 150 ℃ for standby.
The formula of the plugging slurry comprises: oil-based drilling fluid plus the conventional inert lost circulation material with oleophilic and modified surface prepared in the example.
5g, 10g and 15g of the inert plugging material with oleophylic and modified surfaces prepared in the embodiment are respectively added into 200mL of oil-based drilling fluid, uniformly stirred, kept stand and sealed, and kept stand for 2 hours at the temperature of 80 ℃.
River sand of 20-40 meshes is adopted and dried for 0.5h at the temperature of 80 ℃. And (3) preheating a sand bed cylinder in advance, adding 15cm of preheated river sand, adding the plugging slurry while the sand bed cylinder is hot, pressurizing to 0.69MPa, and observing the plugging condition of the plugging slurry. To better illustrate the effect of the plugging material, unmodified calcium carbonate powder and limestone powder were used instead of the modified materials in the examples, respectively, and comparative experiments were performed, the results of which are shown in table 1.

As can be seen from Table 1, the modified plugging material prepared by the embodiment of the invention can effectively plug the pores in the sand bed, and has a good plugging effect. The plugging effect of the conventional plugging material is poor, which shows that the plugging performance of the plugging material can be effectively improved through oleophylic modification of the conventional plugging material.
(2) Evaluation of stability of plugging layer
The plugged layer was removed (oil based drilling fluid +10g of example 1) as shown in fig. 1, the change in the plugged layer was observed under pressure, and the plugged layer after 80% compression was shown in fig. 2; and the relationship between pressure and deformation of the sealant was recorded as shown in fig. 3.
As can be seen from the figures 1 and 2, the plugging layer containing the modified plugging material can be effectively bonded with river sand to form an integral plugging layer; under the action of external force, river sand particles in the plugging layer are not dispersed and still form a whole. The invention can effectively improve the stability of the plugging layer through oleophylic modification, thereby solving the problems of return discharge, repeated leakage and the like of the oil-based drilling fluid plugging material.
