Abstract
本发明提供了一种CeO2复合TiO2氢敏材料及制备方法,属于气敏材料制备技术领域;本发明采用钛酸四丁酯和硝酸铈分别作为钛源和铈源。通过简单的一步水热反应和退火处理,得到CeO2/TiO2多面多孔三维结构。本发明制备的气敏材料中,5wt%CeO2的复合可以实现对气敏性能的最佳改性效果,其具有最大的响应值、相对较短的响应/恢复时间、良好的选择性与相对较好的稳定性。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及氢敏传感材料的制备及应用领域,尤其涉及一种CeO2复合TiO2氢敏材料及制备方法。
背景技术
在众多新能源中氢气(H2)因为其清洁无污染等特点而早被人们所关注。同时氢气也是重要的工业气体,其在冶金工业、精细有机合成、航空航天等现代化工业领域有着难以替换的地位。因为H2具有无色无味的物理性质,故而无法被人们肉眼直观所察觉,当H2在空气中存在的浓度>4%时,就会有产生爆炸的潜在风险,所以H2在储运和应用过程中存在难以忽视的安全隐患。因此,为了预防H2的泄露,开发一种室温下的氢气传感器来检测H2已经迫在眉睫。
在诸多传感器中,电阻型金属氧化物半导体氢气传感器(MOGS)现阶段已经被广泛研究,MOGS具有结构简洁、灵敏度高、成本低、使用寿命长等优点,具有良好的应用前景,以满足H2检测的实际要求。其响应原理则是通过金属半导体在空气中先和氧气接触,在表面形成氧物质,增大了传感器的基态电阻,然后随后H2与表面的氧物质反应,释放电子,又使得传感器的电阻下降。但是现有的在室温下对氢气检测的传感器里,半导体电阻型氢气传感器仍然存着响应不够灵敏、稳定性较差等不尽人意的缺点。因此实现室温下对H2的高效检测是一个需要着手的难题。
TiO2是一种n型半导体金属氧化物,TiO2制备工艺简单,具有良好的化学稳定性和生物相容性被广泛应用在光催化产氢,光催化还原,锂电池,气敏等领域。虽然基于TiO2金属半导体传感器已经得到了广泛的研究,但由于比表面积低,材料结构因素TiO2的原始传感器普遍存在对H2检测范围窄、响应低、气体选择性差等缺点,不足以用于实际氢气检测。为了在较低浓度和较低操作温度下检测气体,必须开发开发高效TiO2基气体传感器。被广泛认可的一个事实,在气敏检测中材料结构和材料一样起着至关重要的作用。有序介孔TiO2是良好的气敏材料,这种多孔结构有利于气体的扩散。
金属有机骨架(Metal-organic frameworks,MOFs)是一种由有机和无机非金属组分组成的晶体多孔材料。由于其高比表面积,特殊的孔隙率和多样化结构而成为吸引人的纳米材料,目前已在催化,分离和吸附,气敏,生物传感和超级电容器等方面对MOFs的应用进行了探索。
MIL-125有着巨大的比表面积和稳定的结构特征。因此,被认为是通过热解获得金属氧化物纳米结构的有吸引力的牺牲模板。
在本研究中,通过热溶剂法合成了MIL-125,采用退火处理形成了多面多孔三维结构的TiO2。当将其用作气体传感器时,制备的TiO2在30摄氏度时对1000ppm H2的最大响应为9.2。TiO2纳米结构具有快速响应/恢复时间和高线性度,对H2气体有最好的选择性。因此,本发明中制得的多面多孔三维结构的TiO2有潜力成为优异的氢敏传感材料。
发明内容
本发明的目的是对现有TiO2进行改性,TiO2与CeO2之间形成的n-n异质结对氢气传感性能的提高起到了主要的作用。
本发明是通过以下技术手段来实现上述技术目的:
(1)TiO2前驱体的制备:称量对苯二甲酸、无水甲醇、无水N,N二甲基甲酰胺(DMF)和钛酸四丁酯(Ti(OC4H9)4)放入烧杯中搅拌,使其混合均匀,将搅拌后的溶液转移到反应釜中进行水热反应。然后将产物冷却至室温,收集得到的白色沉淀,用无水甲醇多次洗涤,放入烘箱中干燥。
(2)TiO2的制备:称量前置水热的白色粉末放入瓷舟中,将瓷舟置于马弗炉中,在空气气氛400℃煅烧10h,自然冷却后,收集得到TiO2白色粉末。
(3)TiO2/CeO2前驱体的制备:同样的,称量对苯二甲酸、无水甲醇、无水N,N二甲基甲酰胺(DMF)、钛酸四丁酯(Ti(OC4H9)4)和六水合硝酸铈放入烧杯中搅拌,使其混合均匀,将搅拌后的溶液转移到反应釜中进行水热反应。然后将产物冷却至室温,收集得到的白色沉淀,用无水甲醇多次洗涤,放入烘箱中干燥,得到白色粉末。
(4)TiO2/CeO2复合物的制备:称量前置水热的白色粉末放入瓷舟中,将瓷舟置于马弗炉中,在空气气氛400℃煅烧10h,自然冷却后,收集得到TiO2/CeO2复合物的黄色粉末。
进一步地,步骤(3)中,对苯二甲酸、无水甲醇、无水N,N二甲基甲酰胺(DMF),钛酸四丁酯(Ti(OC4H9)4)的比例为3.15g:7ml:63ml:1.635g;白色粉末中,Ce4+/Ti4+的摩尔比分别为3/97、5/95、7/93。
该传感材料用于室温下氢气气敏传感中,具体传感响应测试如下:
取5mg制备好的黄色粉末样品用松油醇研磨,形成均匀的糊状物。然后用移液管将5μL得到的浆液涂在氧化铝基板(即pt涂层氧化铝电极)表面,形成薄层。为了提高传感层的稳定性,将电极片300℃退火2小时。得到测试电极。
本发明与市面上传统的金属氧化物半导体响应温度高或者室温响应需要贵金属掺杂的氢气传感材料相比,在降低了响应温度的同时,成本还很低廉,不需要贵金属的掺杂室温检测氢气;并且合成方法简单,仅通过水热和退火处理,合成的样品具有多孔多面的三维结构,比表面积很大,为气体的吸附提供了更多的活性位点。复合物形成的n-n异质结进一步改善了形貌,并形成了大量的氧空位,降低了材料的响应温度的同时还提高了材料响应速度和响应值。材料的可重复性很好,室温下也很稳定,放置45天,响应值仅下降了2,并且对氢气具有很好的选择性。因此,本发明是一种很有潜力的室温氢气传感材料。

具体实施方式
实施例1:
TiO2前驱体的制备:将3.15g对苯二甲酸、7ml无水甲醇、63ml无水N,N二甲基甲酰胺(DMF)和1.635g钛酸四丁酯(Ti(OC4H9)4)放入100ml的烧杯中,搅拌,使其混合均匀,将搅拌后的溶液转移到100ml的反应釜中,在150℃的烘箱中保温48h。然后将产物冷却至室温,收集得到的白色沉淀,用无水甲醇多次洗涤,放入烘箱干燥24h。
实施例2:
TiO2的制备:将白色粉末放入瓷舟中,再将瓷舟放入马弗炉中,在2℃min-1的速度下升温至400℃,并在此温度下保温10小时。自然冷却后,收集白色TiO2粉末。
实施例3:
TiO2/CeO2前驱体的制备:将3.15g对苯二甲酸、7ml无水甲醇、63ml无水N,N二甲基甲酰胺(DMF),1.635g钛酸四丁酯(Ti(OC4H9)4)和六水合硝酸铈放入100ml的烧杯中,控制Ce4+/Ti4+的摩尔比分别为3/97、5/95、7/93,四水合钼酸铵的加入量分别为0.064g、0.109g、0.157g,然后进行搅拌,使其混合均匀,将搅拌后的溶液转移到100ml的反应釜中,在150℃的烘箱中保温48h。然后将产物冷却至室温,收集得到的白色沉淀,用无水甲醇多次洗涤,放入烘箱干燥24h。
实施例4:
TiO2/CeO2复合物的制备:将白色粉末放入瓷舟中,再将瓷舟放入马弗炉中,在2℃min-1的速度下升温至400℃,并在此温度下保温10小时。自然冷却后,收集黄色粉末,分别为3%TiO2/CeO2、5%TiO2/CeO2、7%TiO2/CeO2。

取5mg制备好的TiO2/CeO2粉末用松油醇研磨,形成均匀的糊状物。然后用移液管将5μL得到的浆液涂在氧化铝基板(即pt涂层氧化铝电极)表面,形成薄层。为了提高传感层的稳定性,将电极片300℃退火2小时。测试气体H2处于高纯钢瓶,比例为5000ppm H2标准气(0.5%H2,99.5%N2)、高纯空气,通过设定程序控制混气仪将H2标准气与空气混合,得到200ppm-1000ppm浓度的H2气体,在四通道测试仪中以动态气流测量其室温下氢气传感性能。测试过程如下:先通入纯净空气直至测试电极的电阻值稳定为Ra,然后后通入特定浓度的混合H2记录其电阻值变化,至电阻值降至稳定数值后得到Rg。关闭混合气体通入后继续通以空气,直到电阻值回升至另一个稳定数值。循环这个测试过程测试样品对不同浓度H2的响应值,最终得到样品的动态响应-恢复曲线。通过对响应-恢复曲线分析样品的响应值、响应/恢复时间以及稳定性等气体传感器的计算参数。
图1为TiO2/CeO2复合材料和纯相TiO2的XRD衍射图,首先,XRD谱图(图1)表明所获得的TiO2微观结构的衍射峰都可以很好的与锐钛矿二氧化钛标准卡(PDF#21-1272)进行索引。没有金红石型二氧化钛的峰存在,说明生成了纯净的锐钛矿型二氧化钛。复合物中出现了CeO2的(111)峰,可以索引为CeO2的立方萤石结构(JCPDS No.34-0394),并且氧化铈复合后,部分TiO2衍射峰强度略微下降,说明复合后降低了TiO2的结晶度。图中衍射峰都没看到明显杂峰,没有明显的杂质,XRD的测试结果表明成功制备了纯TiO2和TiO2/CeO2复合材料。
图2为5%TiO2/CeO2低倍和高倍SEM图像。SEM表征的结果可以总结如下。首先,在低倍图中,所制备的5%TiO2/CeO2为三维椭圆饼状结构,分布均匀,未产生大面积的团聚。CeO2纳米颗粒的分布在TiO2的表面,平均直径为50nm。其次,在高倍图中可以看到TiO2饼状表面粗糙,形成了多孔多面的三维结构,其平均长度约为750nm,宽度为500nm,厚度为200nm。合成的多孔多面结构可以提供大量的活性位点,这对氢气的检测是有利的。
图3为5%TiO2/CeO2的XPS光谱,图(a)可以看出Ce 3d5/2和Ce 3d3/2的结合能表明Ce离子的存在。图(b)为Ti元素的峰,Ti 2p3/2峰的结合为458.1eV,其Ti 2p1/2峰的结合能为463.8eV。Ti 2p3/2峰均归属于Ti4+。图(c)显示了晶格氧(OL,531.2eV)和吸附氧(OV,531.1eV),表明复合物存在14.5%的氧空位,这对室温下氧气的吸附是有利的,可以提高氢气的检测性能。XPS的结果进一步论证了前面的XRD的结论,说明了TiO2/CeO2被成功地制备。
图4,图5分别为TiO2/CeO2和TiO2纯样动态响应曲线和响应值随浓度的变化曲线,可以知道以下几点:(1)TiO2/CeO2基传感器在通入H2后电阻下降,通入空气后电阻上升,说明其在室温下对氢气的响应仍为n型响应,CeO2的复合没有改变的TiO2化学特性。(2)已知5%Ce掺杂是最佳复合量,相对于纯样来说提高了对H2的响应,在1000ppm时响应值提高了1.5倍。复合物对H2的响应特性为线性响应,当H2浓度为4000ppm时,其响应值为75,对比纯样提高了两倍。这是由于复合物在室温下吸附力更多的氧气,提高了空气中的电阻。(3)当Ce掺杂到7%时,响应值开始下降,相对于5%的样品,其室温下的氧吸附能力降低,从而降低了响应值,但依旧高于纯相。
图6为5%TiO2/CeO2样品对氢气、一氧化碳和丙烯在不同浓度下的选择性,结果如图所示。从曲线可以看出5%TiO2/CeO2材料在任何浓度下对一氧化碳和丙烯的选择性响应较差,在1000ppm时,5%TiO2/CeO2对H2的响应值分别是对一氧化碳和丙烯响应值的1.5倍、2倍。结果表明:5%TiO2/CeO2具有对H2的良好的选择性。
图7为5%TiO2/CeO2复合物的重复性测试,可以看到样品的重复性良好。
图8为5%TiO2/CeO2的稳定性测试。通过对H2的动态响应-回复特性曲线可以看出,5%TiO2/CeO2样品对H2具有较好的可循环性。在此基础上测试了其长时间的稳定性,其结果如图所示,可以看出样品在40天之后依旧可以保持较高的响应值,其响应值仅仅下降了2。可以认为:5%TiO2/CeO2样品不仅有良好的可循环能力、随检测浓度变化的响应值,还具有相对较长时间的稳定性。
Claims (3)
1.一种CeO2复合TiO2氢敏材料的制备方法,其特征在于,具体步骤如下:
(1)TiO2/CeO2前驱体的制备:同样的,称量对苯二甲酸、无水甲醇、无水N,N二甲基甲酰胺、钛酸四丁酯和六水合硝酸铈放入烧杯中搅拌,使其混合均匀,将搅拌后的溶液转移到反应釜中进行水热反应,然后将产物冷却至室温,收集得到的白色沉淀,用无水甲醇多次洗涤,放入烘箱中干燥,得到白色粉末;
(2)TiO2/CeO2复合物的制备:称量前置水热的白色粉末放入瓷舟中,将瓷舟置于马弗炉中,在空气气氛400℃煅烧10h,自然冷却后,收集得到TiO2/CeO2复合物的黄色粉末。
2.如权利要求1所述的一种CeO2复合TiO2氢敏材料的制备方法,其特征在于,步骤(3)中,对苯二甲酸、无水甲醇、无水N,N二甲基甲酰胺(DMF),钛酸四丁酯(Ti(OC4H9)4)的比例为3.15g:7ml:63ml:1.635g;白色粉末中,Ce4+/Ti4+的摩尔比分别为3/97、5/95、7/93。
3.如权利要求2所述的一种CeO2复合TiO2氢敏材料的制备方法,其特征在于,白色粉末中,Ce4+/Ti4+的摩尔比为5/95。
