A device for making hollow filter rods carrying functional components according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that it comprises a filter rod maker (13), a functional component application device (12) being arranged upstream of the mouth (131) of the filter rod maker (13) and a rigid rod (11) being arranged downstream of the mouth (131) of the filter rod maker (13).
9. A method for preparing a hollow filter rod loaded with functional parts according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the preparation device according to claim 8 is used, and comprises the following steps:
