本公开提供一种近眼显示装置及其显示方法,近眼显示装置包括:显示屏(100),用于显示图像;显示屏(100)包括多个像素岛组(Z),像素岛组(Z)包括至少一个像素岛(10),像素岛(10)包括多个子像素单元(r,g,b);微透镜阵列(200),位于显示屏(100)的出光侧;微透镜阵列(200)包括多个微透镜(20),一个微透镜(20)与一个像素岛(10)对应;微透镜(20)用于对对应的像素岛(10)显示的图像进行成像;和成像透镜组(300),位于微透镜阵列(200)背离显示屏(100)的一侧,用于对微透镜(20)的成像光线进准直;其中,像素岛组(Z)用于显示部分图像,各像素岛组(Z)显示的部分图像组成完整图像;相邻的像素岛组(Z)的出射光线经过对应的微透镜(20)和成像透镜组(300)的成像视场角相互连续。
