Detailed Description
Example embodiments will now be described more fully with reference to the accompanying drawings. Example embodiments may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the examples set forth herein; rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the concept of example embodiments to those skilled in the art. The described features, structures, or characteristics may be combined in any suitable manner in one or more embodiments.
Furthermore, the drawings are merely schematic illustrations of the present disclosure and are not necessarily drawn to scale. The same reference numerals in the drawings denote the same or similar parts, and thus their repetitive description will be omitted. Some of the block diagrams shown in the figures are functional entities and do not necessarily correspond to physically or logically separate entities. These functional entities may be implemented in the form of software, or in one or more hardware modules or integrated circuits, or in different networks and/or processor terminal devices and/or microcontroller terminal devices.
In the related art, similar to the case where the terminal has a handover failure/radio link failure, etc., the information related to the failure event needs to be recorded and reported, and when the handover is successful, the terminal always needs to record and report a handover success report.
Because the probability of the terminal having the failure events such as the switching failure/the radio link failure is smaller, the signaling overhead brought to the network by the terminal reporting the failure event information is smaller. However, the probability of successful handover of the terminal is high, and handover may occur frequently (for example, in a high-speed mobile scenario or a high-frequency scenario), so that the successful handover information is reported frequently, the signaling overhead brought to the network is high, and especially when the network load is heavy, the network performance may be worse. On the other hand, when the terminal is frequently handed over, frequently recording and reporting a successful handover report may increase the processing burden and power consumption of the terminal.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the successful handover report means that when the terminal device finally succeeds in handover but actually is about to fail, information (such as cell signal measurement information, random access information, and the like) related to the successful handover is recorded and reported to the network. For example, the terminal device is finally successfully handed over, but actually, the terminal fails to attempt to send the preamble multiple times in the random access process with the target base station, and then the access is successful, so that the handover delay of the terminal device is large in this case, and an optimization space exists.
Hereinafter, each step of the transmission method of the successful handover report in the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings and the embodiments.
Fig. 1 is a flow chart illustrating a method of transmission of a successful handover report according to an example embodiment. The method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure can be executed by a terminal device, but the disclosure is not limited thereto.

In step S404, if the trigger condition for starting the successful handover report function is satisfied, the successful handover report function of the terminal device is started.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, after receiving the successful handover report configuration information, if the successful handover report configuration information includes a trigger condition for starting the successful handover report function, the terminal device starts the successful handover report function when the trigger condition for starting the successful handover report function is satisfied.
For example, if the trigger condition for starting the successful handover report function includes frequency point information, the terminal device starts the successful handover report function when the serving frequency point or the target frequency point of the terminal device is included in the trigger condition for starting the successful handover report function.
For another example, if the trigger condition for starting the successful handover report function includes the region information, the terminal starts the successful handover report function when the terminal device is located in the region.
For another example, if the trigger condition for turning on the successful handover report function includes terminal movement speed information, the terminal device turns on the successful handover report function when the terminal movement speed satisfies the trigger condition for turning on the successful handover report function (e.g., is less than or equal to a specific threshold).
In step S406, after the successful handover report function is started, if the trigger condition for starting the successful handover report function is no longer satisfied, the successful handover report function of the terminal device is stopped.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, after the successful handover report function is started, it may be continuously determined whether the trigger condition for starting the successful handover report function is satisfied, and if the trigger condition for starting the successful handover report function is no longer satisfied, the successful handover report function of the terminal device is stopped.
In step S408, if the terminal device is successfully switched and the successful handover report function is already activated, the successful handover information is recorded.

In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the terminal device may actively send a successful handover report to the second base station, or may send a successful handover report to the second base station in response to a successful handover report request sent by the second base station. Wherein the successful handover report may be carried in a UEInformationResponse message.
In an exemplary embodiment, the successful handover report configuration information includes a trigger condition for stopping the successful handover report function, and the method for transmitting a successful handover report may further include the following steps.
In step S414, the successful handover reporting function is stopped if the trigger condition for stopping the successful handover reporting function is satisfied.
The trigger condition for stopping the successful handover report function may be frequency point information, area information (for example, a cell list, a TA (Tracking Area) list), or terminal moving speed information.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, after receiving the successful handover report configuration information, if the successful handover report configuration information includes a trigger condition for stopping the successful handover report function, the terminal device stops the successful handover report function when the trigger condition for stopping the successful handover report function is satisfied.
For example, if the trigger condition for stopping the successful handover reporting function includes the frequency bin information, the terminal device stops the successful handover reporting function when the serving frequency bin or the target frequency bin of the terminal device is not included in the trigger condition for starting the successful handover reporting function.
For another example, if the trigger condition for stopping the successful handover report function includes the area information, the terminal device stops the successful handover report function when the terminal device is not in the area.
For another example, if the trigger condition for stopping the successful handover report function includes terminal movement speed information, the terminal device stops the successful handover report function when the terminal movement speed satisfies the trigger condition for stopping the successful handover report function (for example, is greater than a specific threshold).
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, if the terminal device successfully switches from the first base station to the second base station and stops the successful handover reporting function, the successful handover information is not recorded.
And if the terminal generates a switching success event and meets the triggering condition for stopping the successful switching report function, the terminal does not record the switching success information.
