2. When the ball switch is tilted to the conducting ball 4 at the conducting position, the first terminal 2 can be conducted with the outer terminal 32 at the same time, and the outer terminal 32 is located at two opposite sides of the insulating housing 1 relative to the axis L1, so as to increase the application range.
Referring to fig. 7 to 9, the ball switch according to the second embodiment of the present invention includes the insulating housing 1, a first terminal 2', the second terminal 3, and the conductive ball 4. The second embodiment differs from the first embodiment in that: the first terminal 2 'is cup-shaped and disposed in the first inner wall surface 111, and includes a platform surface 21' intersecting the axis L1 in a circular shape, a ring inclined surface 22 'extending upward from the periphery of the platform surface 21' in the extending direction of the axis L1 around the axis L1, a first outer peripheral surface 23 'opposite to the ring inclined surface 22' and abutting against the first inner wall surface 111, an open end 24 'connecting the ring inclined surface 22' and the first outer peripheral surface 23', and a closed end 25' opposite to the open end 24 'and connecting the first outer peripheral surface 23'.
The ring slope 22' has a slope section 221 extending upward and diverging along the extending direction of the axis L1, and a straight section 222 extending upward from the slope section 221 along the extending direction of the axis L1, and the open end 24' connects the straight section 222 and the first outer peripheral surface 23'.
The inclined section 221 of the first terminal 2 'forms an inclined included angle θ 2 with the base line L2, the inclined included angle θ 2 ranges from 10 degrees to 20 degrees, and the platform surface 21' is adjacent to the open end 24 and has a diameter smaller than that of the conductive ball 4. In the second embodiment, the inclined angle θ 2 is 15 degrees.
When the ball switch is tilted by an angle greater than or equal to 15 degrees and less than 90 degrees, the conductive ball 4 rolls to the conducting position, the conductive ball 4 simultaneously contacts the ring inclined surface 22' and the inner end part 31 to conduct the first terminal 2' and the inner end part 31, and the conductive member 33 conducts the first terminal 2' and the outer end part 32. When the ball switch is tilted to more than 90 degrees, the conductive ball 4 rolls toward the top wall 13 to disengage from the ring slope 22' and is located at the non-conductive position, so that the first terminal 2' and the inner end member 31 are not conductive, and the first terminal 2' and the outer end member 32 are not conductive
When the ball switch is tilted at an angle of 15 to 90 degrees, the conductive ball 4 is located at the conducting position, and therefore, the ball switch of the second embodiment has the advantages that the conductive ball 4 is located at the conducting position within the selected tilting range, the sensitivity is high, and the ball is not easily clamped, as in the first embodiment.
The above description is only an example of the present invention, and the scope of the present invention should not be limited thereby, and all the simple equivalent changes and modifications made according to the claims and the content of the specification of the present invention are still within the scope of the present invention.
