The embodiment of the application provides a display adjusting method, which can be executed by a multi-partition regional dimming display or an OLED display, and is used to obtain a target pixel corresponding to a target display size according to a display adjusting instruction, adjust a pixel of a display image to the target pixel to obtain a target display image, and display the target display image according to the target display size, so that a user can adjust the display size of the display image at will, and various requirements of the user are met.
Taking a multi-partition local dimming display as an example, as shown in fig. 1, the multi-partition local dimming display includes a terminal device 101, such as a desktop computer, a notebook computer, a tablet computer, a smart phone, and the like, as well as a mouse module 102, a keyboard module 103 (which may also be a touch screen module), and a display. The terminal device 101 is connected to the display main control MCU of the display and the video processing module 104 through a data line such as HDMI, DP, type-c line, or wireless communication such as WIFI, bluetooth. The terminal device 101 is connected to the data conversion module 105 through a data line such as a USB line or wireless communication such as bluetooth, and the data conversion module 105 is configured to convert USB interface data or bluetooth communication data of the terminal device 101 into I2C or RS232 interface data and connect to the MCU module 1041, thereby establishing data communication.
The backlight MCU module 106 is connected to the display main control MCU and the video processing module 104, and receives the image brightness data of the display main control MCU and the video processing module 104. The multi-partition regional dimming LED current backlight driving module 107 is connected to the backlight MCU module 106. The LED current of each zone is controlled by the backlight MCU module 106, and the LED current of each zone is controlled along with the brightness data of the displayed image. The backlight LED module 1081 is composed of M rows and N columns of LED lamps, and the number of LED lamps per zone may be 1,2,4 (an integer greater than or equal to 1). The memory module 109 may store data of different display sizes.
The terminal device 101 is connected with the display, and audio and video data of the terminal device 101 are transmitted to the display main control MCU and the video processing module 104 through wires such as HDMI, DP, and type-c or wirelessly such as WIFI and millimeter waves. The display main control MCU and the video data output by the video processing module 104 drive the liquid crystal display screen 108 to display. The terminal device 101 is installed with application software that can freely switch the display size of the display, and the application software can be automatically started after the operating system of the terminal device 101 is started.
The maximum display size of the multi-zone local dimming display is the size of the full screen display, such as a 38.5 inch display, and the maximum display size is 38.5 inches. When the large-size display is carried out, the user can watch the network movies and the network games at a long distance, and when the small-size display is carried out, the user can work and study at a short distance. When the display is in a small size, the partial area without the displayed image is always a black picture, and the current of the backlight LED lamp of the subarea corresponding to the black picture is 0 milliampere, namely the LED lamp is turned off, so that the energy consumption of the non-display area corresponding to the black picture is reduced, and the electric energy of the display is saved.
As shown in fig. 2, the display adjustment method provided in this embodiment includes the following steps S21 to S24:
and S21, receiving a display adjusting instruction.
In the application, assuming that there is a 38.5 inch multi-partition regional dimming display, the resolution of the lcd 108 is 3840 × 2160, and the size of the full screen is 853.92x480.33 mm, after the application software of the terminal device 101 is started, the user can select the display size through the mouse module 102 or the keyboard module 103, and the application software has the selection of various display sizes that the display can support.
When a user watches a network movie, a full-screen display mode can be selected, the full-screen display is the default display size of the display, namely 38.5 inches, when the user needs to work in a close range or study, the display mode can be switched to a small-size display mode in application software of the terminal device 101, a display adjusting instruction is triggered, the terminal device 101 sends the display adjusting instruction to the data conversion module 105, and the data conversion module 105 sends the display adjusting instruction to the MCU module 1041 after data conversion.
And S22, acquiring a target pixel corresponding to the target display size according to the display adjusting instruction.
In an application, assuming that the display adjustment command is switched to the 19.29 inch display mode, the target display size is 19.29 inches, and the target pixel corresponding to the target display size is 1920 × 1080.
And S23, adjusting the pixels of the display image to target pixels to obtain a target display image.
In application, the application software may control the graphics card of the terminal device to adjust pixels of the display image to target pixels, that is, 1920 × 1080, so as to obtain a target display image with 1920 × 1080 pixels.
And S24, displaying the target display image according to the target display size.
In application, the display card of the terminal device can output the target display image to the display. The video processing module 1043 receives the target display image output by the display card, and then the MCU module 1041 controls the video processing module 1043 to input the target display image to the liquid crystal display 108, and displays the target display image according to the target display size, that is, 19.29 inches. The partial area which does not display the image is always a black picture, and the current of the backlight LED lamp of the subarea corresponding to the black picture is 0 milliampere.
According to the display adjusting method provided by the embodiment of the application, the target pixels corresponding to the target display size are obtained according to the display adjusting instruction, the pixels of the display image are adjusted to the target pixels so as to obtain the target display image, and the target display image is displayed according to the target display size, so that a user can adjust the display size of the display image at will, and various requirements of the user are met.
Example two
The second embodiment of the present application provides a display adjustment method implemented based on the first embodiment, which can be executed by a multi-partition local dimming display or an OLED display.
As shown in fig. 3, step S24 includes: s31, acquiring a target resolution corresponding to a target display image; and S32, displaying the target display image according to the target resolution.
In application, after the user switches the small-sized display mode in the application software of the terminal device 101, the user may further select 1. The image 1 is displayed, that is, displayed according to the target resolution corresponding to the target display image, and the target display image is not enlarged or reduced, and the size of the display is reduced as long as the resolution of the displayed image is smaller than the actual resolution of the display screen. The image 1.
In one embodiment, the display adjustment method further comprises:
according to the display adjustment instruction, adjusting the display position of the target display image to the target display position, specifically, the method comprises the following steps: and adjusting the display position of the target display image to a preset display position, or adjusting the display position of the target display image to a user-defined display position.
In the application, after the user switches the small-sized display mode in the application software of the terminal device 101, the user may further select a display position, where the display position may be a display position preset by the application software of the terminal device 101, specifically, the display position may include a center display, an upper left display, a lower left display, an upper right display, and a lower right display, or may be a display position customized by the user in the application software of the terminal device 101.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 4, adjusting the display position of the target display image to the custom display position includes: s41, acquiring an initial coordinate of a custom display position; and S42, adjusting the display position of the target display image to a user-defined display position according to the initial coordinate and the target display size.
In the application, the pixel coordinates of the display are (0, 0) in the upper left corner, i.e. the horizontal coordinate is 0 pixels and the vertical coordinate is also 0 pixels. The customized display position of the small-size display is realized by the application software of the terminal device 101 through the starting coordinate input by the user when the full-screen display is performed, and specifically, the starting coordinate may be a starting pixel coordinate. The user fixes the mouse to a starting point, the terminal device 101 obtains the pixel coordinate of the starting point, and then sends the pixel coordinate to the MCU module 1041, and the MCU module 1041 adjusts the display position of the target display image to the user-defined display position according to the pixel coordinate and the target display size.
According to the display adjusting method, after the display size is reduced, the areas of the multi-partition regional dimming display with large areas are all black screens, and the LED currents of the partitions corresponding to the black screens are all 0, so that the power consumption of the display is greatly reduced, and the electric energy is saved. The OLED display is a display made of self-luminous organic diodes, and when the display size is switched to a small size, the self-luminous organic diodes corresponding to a large-area black screen are also not luminous, so that the small display size of the OLED display can also save energy.
