Background
With the continuous development of computer technology, live webcasting is widely applied to the fields of user sharing, commercial propaganda and the like due to the advantages of convenience, rapidness, good display effect, low cost, strong interactivity and the like.
After a live network is started, a client can send definition parameters of the live network to a server corresponding to a Content Delivery Network (CDN), so that the server corresponding to the CDN sends live audio and video streams corresponding to the definition parameters of the live network to the client, so that the client plays the live audio and video streams, and a display process of the live network is realized.
However, the network environment in which the webcast is located is not constant, but is in a fluctuating state. And, the definition of the live webcast depends on the definition parameter of the live webcast. Therefore, with the change of the network environment, how to keep the definition of the live webcast optimal by adjusting the definition parameter of the live webcast is an urgent problem to be solved.

Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a signaling interaction diagram of a method for switching the definition of live streaming according to an embodiment of the disclosure. As shown in fig. 2, the method for switching the definition of live webcasting provided by the present disclosure may include:
s101, in the playing process of live webcasts, a client determines an uplink bandwidth and a first definition gear of the live webcasts.
The client can play a live webcast. The method and the system have the advantages that parameters such as the type, the content and the display mode of the live webcast are not limited. In the playing process of the network live broadcast, the client can acquire the actual code rate of the network live broadcast, and calculate the uplink bandwidth (namely the transmission rate) of the network live broadcast based on the actual code rate of the network live broadcast.
The method and the system have the advantages that the time and the mode of the client for acquiring the actual code rate of the live webcast are not limited.
In some embodiments, the client may collect the actual bitrate of the live webcast in real time, periodically or aperiodically after receiving the instruction output by the user.
For example, after receiving an operation instruction for selecting to switch the definition of the webcast from the screen of the electronic device by the anchor user, the client may acquire the actual bitrate of the webcast.
In other embodiments, the client may autonomously enable real-time, periodic, or aperiodic acquisition of the actual bitrate of the live webcast.
It should be noted that, in addition to the above manner, the client may also acquire the frame rate and resolution of the live webcast, and calculate the uplink bandwidth of the live webcast, and the present disclosure does not limit the manner of determining the uplink bandwidth of the live webcast.
In this disclosure, the client may be a client of the anchor user or a client of the viewing user, which is not limited in this disclosure. In contrast, the anchor user is an originator or a publisher of the live audio/video stream, and the anchor user may send the live audio/video stream to the CDN server through the client, which may be referred to as streaming. The watching and broadcasting user is a viewer of live audio and video stream, and the watching and broadcasting user can obtain the live audio and video stream from the CDN server through the client, and the process can be called as stream pulling. Based on the description, the client can acquire the live audio and video stream, the client can divide the definition gear into a plurality of gears in advance, each gear is a bit rate interval, the bit rate intervals of the gears are different, and each gear corresponds to a range of each parameter in the definition parameters.
The present disclosure does not limit the specific implementation manner of the clarity gear. In some embodiments, the plurality of clarity gears may include: ultra High Definition (UHD) 1080P, high Definition (HD) 720P, standard Definition (SD) 540P, and universal Definition (LD) 480P.
The client may perform software program setting on the definition gear by using JSON (JSON notification, JS Object numbered Notation), and specifically may include the following codes:
Figure BDA0003161345550000081
Figure BDA0003161345550000091
Figure BDA0003161345550000101
in conclusion, the client can know that the current definition gear of the live webcast is the first definition gear.
S102, when the upstream bandwidth of the live webcast does not match the first definition gear within a preset time, the client adjusts the definition parameters of the live webcast based on the second definition gear matched with the upstream bandwidth of the live webcast.
The upstream bandwidth of the live network can indicate the upstream network state corresponding to the network environment where the live network is located. Therefore, the client can judge whether the upstream bandwidth of the webcast matches the first definition gear.
In this case, the matching mentioned in this disclosure may be understood as that the upstream bandwidth of the live broadcast is included in the bit rate interval of the first definition gear, and the mismatch may be understood as that the upstream bandwidth of the live broadcast is not included in the bit rate interval of the first definition gear.
When the upstream bandwidth of the live webcast is matched with the first definition gear, the network environment where the live webcast is located fluctuates. Therefore, the client can continuously judge whether the uplink bandwidth of the live webcast is not matched with the first definition gear within the preset time length, and the problem that the playing effect of the live webcast is influenced due to frequent switching of the definition parameters of the live webcast is avoided.
The specific value of the preset duration mentioned in the present disclosure may be set based on the client and/or the server in combination with the live webcast and the current actual situation, which is not limited in the present disclosure.
When the uplink bandwidth of the live webcast does not match the first definition gear within the preset time, the client can determine that the first definition gear cannot meet the network environment where the live webcast is located. Therefore, the client can determine the matched second definition gear based on the uplink bandwidth of the live webcast. Wherein the first definition gear is different from the second definition gear.
Therefore, the client can adjust the definition parameter of the live webcast based on the second definition gear to obtain the adjusted definition parameter of the live webcast.
The definition parameter of the live webcast is used for adjusting the definition of the live webcast. The present disclosure does not limit the specific implementation manner of the definition parameter of the webcast. In some embodiments, the clarity parameters of the webcast may include: code rate, resolution, and frame rate. The code rate can be calculated by the resolution and the frame rate.
S103, the client sends the adjusted definition parameters of the live webcasting to the server.
And S104, the server determines live broadcast audio and video streams corresponding to the adjusted definition parameters of the live network broadcast.
And S105, the server sends live broadcast audio and video streams corresponding to the adjusted definition parameters of the live broadcast network to the client.
And S106, playing the live audio and video stream by the client.
The client side can carry the adjusted definition parameter of the live webcast in one request and send the request to the server, so that the server can determine the live video and audio stream corresponding to the adjusted definition parameter of the live webcast based on the adjusted definition parameter of the live webcast after receiving the request. The server can carry the live audio and video stream in a response and send the response to the client.
Therefore, the client can play the live audio and video stream, so that the definition of the live network broadcast can be switched to the optimal state, the network environment of the live network broadcast is conformed, and the watching experience of a user is guaranteed.
The method and the device have the advantages that parameters such as format, size and the like of the live audio and video stream are not limited. In addition, the client and the server can also adopt other modes for data transmission besides the modes of request and response. For example, the client may send an identifier of the adjusted live webcasting definition parameter to the server, so that the server determines the live audio/video stream based on the identifier. The server can send the storage address of the live audio and video stream to the client, so that the client downloads the live audio and video stream based on the storage address.
According to the definition switching method for the live webcasting, the client can determine the uplink bandwidth and the first definition gear of the live webcasting in the playing process of the live webcasting, and the first definition gear is the current definition gear of the live webcasting. When the customer end group does not match the first definition gear in the preset time length at the uplink bandwidth of the live network, the definition parameter of the live network is adjusted based on the second definition gear matched with the uplink bandwidth of the live network, the first definition gear is different from the second definition gear, and the definition parameter of the live network is used for adjusting the definition of the live network. The client side can send the adjusted definition parameters of the live webcasting to the server, so that the server sends live audio and video streams corresponding to the adjusted definition parameters of the live webcasting to the client side, and the client side can play the live audio and video streams conveniently. Therefore, based on the corresponding uplink network state of the network environment where the live network is located within the continuous preset time, the most suitable definition parameter is selected for the live network, the definition of the live network can be switched to the best state, the phenomenon that the live network is blocked due to too frequent switching is avoided, and the watching experience of a user is promoted.
Based on the description in step S102, the client may determine the second definition gear matched with the live uplink bandwidth of the network in various ways.
In the following, referring to fig. 3, the present disclosure takes the client in fig. 1 as an example, and details a specific implementation manner of determining the second clarity gear by the client is described.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a method for switching the definition of live webcasting according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 3, the method for switching the definition of live webcasting provided by the present disclosure may include:
s200, the client determines the uplink bandwidth of the network live broadcast.
S201, the client judges whether the uplink bandwidth of the live webcast does not match the first definition gear within a preset time.
If so, the electronic device may perform steps S2021-S2024 or steps S2031-S2034; if not, the electronic device may continue to perform step S200.
S2021, when the uplink bandwidth of the live network broadcast is smaller than the minimum bit rate in the first definition gear within the preset time, the first definition gear is reduced by one gear by the client, and a third definition gear is obtained.
And S2022, the client judges whether the uplink bandwidth of the live webcast matches a third definition gear.
If so, the client may perform step S2023; if not, the client may execute step S2024.
S2023, the client determines that the second definition gear is the third definition gear.
And S2024, the client updates the third definition gear into a definition gear of which the third definition gear is reduced by one gear, and executes the step S2022 until the uplink bandwidth of the live webcast is matched with the third definition gear, or the third definition gear is the lowest definition gear of the live webcast.
S2031, when the uplink bandwidth of the live network is greater than the maximum bit rate in the first definition gear within a preset time, the client increases the first definition gear by one gear to obtain a fourth definition gear.
S2032, the client judges whether the upstream bandwidth of the live webcast matches the fourth definition gear.
If yes, the client may execute step S2033; if not, the client may execute step S2034.
And S2033, the client determines that the second definition gear is the fourth definition gear.
S2034, the client updates the fourth definition gear to the definition gear obtained by adding one gear to the fourth definition gear, and executes the step S2032 until the upstream bandwidth of the live webcast matches the fourth definition gear, or the fourth definition gear is the highest definition gear of the live webcast.
In conclusion, the client can determine the second definition gear corresponding to the uplink bandwidth of the live webcast step by step, so that the definition parameter of the live webcast can be accurately determined based on the second definition gear, and the definition of the network environment in which the live webcast is located is improved.
