Further, the processor 1001 may call a backlight brightness adjustment application stored in the memory 1005, and also perform the following operations:
and if the backlight lamp is determined not to be in the automatic brightness adjusting mode currently, adjusting the brightness of the backlight lamp based on a preset current set value.
In a first embodiment of the backlight brightness adjusting method according to the present application, referring to fig. 3, the backlight brightness adjusting method applied to a constant current driving unit includes the following steps:
step S10, receiving backlight brightness data sent by a main board;
in this embodiment, it should be noted that the backlight brightness adjusting method is applicable to an LED display based on a Local dimming (Local dimming) technology, and the backlight brightness adjusting method is applied to a constant current driving unit, where the constant current driving unit is an LED (light-emitting diode) constant current driving chip, and since an LED is a semiconductor device with sensitive characteristics and has a negative temperature characteristic, it is necessary to perform stable working state and protection during an application process, so as to generate a driving concept, the constant current driving unit and a main board transmit backlight brightness data through an SPI signal, the backlight brightness data is SPI data, which is a ratio of a current value required by a current frame to a maximum current value, and is used for adjusting the brightness of a backlight by adjusting the current value required by the current frame, and an MCU in the constant current driving unit configures a current amplitude value for a constant current driving IC, and further determines an actual current value in the constant current driving IC based on the backlight brightness data and the configured current amplitude value, so as to adjust the brightness of the backlight.
Specifically, the SPI data sent by the SOC in the motherboard is received, and the backlight luminance data is obtained by analyzing the SPI data, and it is easily understood that the backlight luminance data corresponds to the luminance adjustment channel of the backlight, that is, if the backlight is adjusted by the luminance of more than one luminance adjustment channel, the backlight luminance data may be multiple.
Step S20, if the current brightness is determined to be in the brightness automatic adjusting mode, determining a current amplitude corresponding to the backlight lamp according to the backlight brightness data and a preset current set value;
in this embodiment, specifically, a switch control signal of an automatic brightness adjustment mode sent by a motherboard is obtained, whether the automatic brightness adjustment mode is currently located is determined according to the switch control signal of the automatic brightness adjustment mode, if a control signal for starting the automatic brightness adjustment mode is identified, the automatic brightness adjustment mode is determined to be currently located, and further, according to the backlight brightness data and a preset current setting value, a current amplitude value configured in a constant current driving IC is determined, so that the constant current driving IC adjusts the brightness of the backlight based on the current amplitude value, where the preset current setting value is an initial setting value of the current amplitude value, and may be set according to an actual situation, a power threshold value, and the like, which is not limited in this embodiment, and the current amplitude value may be greater than or less than the preset current setting value, for example, if the backlight brightness data is too large and there is a risk of overpower, the risk of overpower can be avoided by reducing the current amplitude, if the backlight brightness data is too small, a sudden change of current can be caused, and a sudden change of the image from larger brightness to smaller brightness can be caused, and a flicker phenomenon can be caused, and the image brightness can be improved by increasing the current amplitude, and the flicker phenomenon can be avoided, for example, the previous frame backlight brightness data is 100%, the next frame backlight brightness data is 20%, if the current amplitude is fixed to 100mA, the previous frame backlight lamp current is 100mA, the next frame backlight lamp current is 20mA, the current is suddenly changed, and the brightness is also suddenly changed, if the previous frame current amplitude is fixed to 100mA, and the next frame current amplitude is 300mA, the previous frame backlight lamp current is 100mA, the next frame backlight lamp current is 60mA, compared with the fixed current amplitude, the change of current is smaller, the variation in brightness is also smaller.
The automatic brightness adjustment mode is a mode for automatically adjusting the brightness of the backlight, and in an implementable manner, the automatic brightness adjustment mode may be an HDR mode, or a novel switch control mode of the automatic brightness adjustment mode may be associated with a switch control signal of the HDR mode, if a control signal for turning on the HDR mode is recognized, the automatic brightness adjustment mode is automatically turned on to generate a control signal for turning on the automatic brightness adjustment mode, and if a control signal for turning off the HDR mode is recognized, the automatic brightness adjustment mode is automatically turned off to generate a control signal for turning off the automatic brightness adjustment mode.
It should be noted that, the manner of determining the current amplitude corresponding to the backlight lamp according to the backlight brightness data and the preset current setting value may be to adjust the preset current setting value according to a magnitude relationship between a sum of the backlight brightness data and a preset data threshold value to obtain the current amplitude corresponding to the backlight lamp, or may be to adjust the preset current setting value according to a sum of the backlight brightness data of a part of channels and a preset data threshold value to obtain the current amplitude corresponding to the backlight lamp, or may be to adjust the preset current setting value according to a magnitude relationship between the backlight brightness data of a certain channel and a preset data threshold value to obtain the current amplitude corresponding to the backlight lamp, where the preset data threshold value may be determined according to an actual situation, and this embodiment is not limited.
If the control signal for turning off the brightness automatic adjusting mode is identified, the current brightness automatic adjusting mode is determined not to be in, and the current brightness automatic adjusting mode is determined not to be in, so that the brightness of the backlight lamp does not need to be adjusted.
Optionally, after the step of receiving the backlight brightness data sent by the main board, the method further includes:
and if the backlight lamp is determined not to be in the automatic brightness adjusting mode currently, adjusting the brightness of the backlight lamp based on a preset current set value.
In this embodiment, specifically, an on-off control signal of the brightness automatic adjustment mode sent by the motherboard is obtained, whether the current is in the brightness automatic adjustment mode is determined according to the on-off control signal of the brightness automatic adjustment mode, and if the control signal for turning off the brightness automatic adjustment mode is identified, the brightness of the backlight is adjusted based on a preset current setting value.
And S30, adjusting the brightness of the backlight lamp based on the current amplitude and the backlight brightness data.
In this embodiment, specifically, the MCU sends the current amplitude and the backlight brightness data to a constant current driving IC, so that the constant current driving IC calculates and determines an actual current value based on the backlight brightness data and the current amplitude, and adjusts the brightness of the backlight lamp based on the actual current value.
Optionally, the adjusting the brightness of the backlight based on the current amplitude and the backlight brightness data comprises:
step S31, judging whether target brightness data smaller than a preset brightness lower limit exist in the backlight brightness data;
step S32, if it is determined that target brightness data smaller than a preset brightness lower limit exists in the backlight brightness data, determining a target backlight corresponding to the target brightness data, adjusting the brightness of the target backlight based on a preset current set value and the target backlight brightness data, and adjusting the brightness of other backlights except the target backlight based on the current amplitude and the backlight brightness data.
In this embodiment, specifically, a smaller luminance lower limit is preset, the backlight luminance data is compared with the luminance lower limit one by one, whether target luminance data smaller than the preset luminance lower limit exists in the backlight luminance data is judged, if the target luminance data smaller than the preset luminance lower limit does not exist in the backlight luminance data, the MCU sends the current amplitude and the backlight luminance data to a constant current driving IC, so that the constant current driving IC calculates and determines an actual current value based on the backlight luminance data and the current amplitude, and adjusts the luminance of the backlight based on the actual current value; if target brightness data smaller than a preset brightness lower limit exists in the backlight brightness data, a target backlight corresponding to the target brightness data is determined, the MCU sends a preset current set value and the target backlight brightness data to the constant current drive IC, so that the constant current drive IC calculates and determines an actual current value of the target backlight based on the preset current set value and the target backlight brightness data, adjusts the brightness of the target backlight based on the actual current value of the target backlight, and sends the current amplitude and the backlight brightness data to the constant current drive IC, so that the constant current drive IC calculates and determines actual current values of other backlights except the target backlight based on the current amplitude and the backlight brightness data, and adjusts the brightness of other backlights except the target backlight based on the actual current values of other backlights except the target backlight, wherein the brightness lower limit can be determined according to actual needs, large data or actual test results, and the like, and the embodiment is not limited.
In this embodiment, different brightness adjustments are performed on different bright areas in the picture, the brightness enhancement processing is not performed on a darker area where the backlight brightness data is smaller than the preset brightness lower limit, and the brightness enhancement processing is performed on a brighter area where the backlight brightness data is larger than the preset brightness lower limit, so that the contrast between the dark portion and the bright portion in the picture can be increased.
In this embodiment, the backlight brightness adjusting method is applied to a constant current driving unit, and by receiving backlight brightness data sent by a main board, if it is determined that the backlight brightness data is currently in an automatic brightness adjusting mode, determining a current amplitude corresponding to a backlight according to the backlight brightness data and a preset current setting value, implementing dynamic adjustment of the current amplitude based on the backlight brightness data, and further adjusting the brightness of the backlight based on the current amplitude and the backlight brightness data, implementing auxiliary control of the process of adjusting the backlight brightness based on the backlight brightness data in the constant current driving unit, compared with a method of adjusting a fixed current maximum value based on SPI data, the method implements brightness adjustment of the backlight without calculating and processing SPI data in different windows and different scene picture switching processes by the main board, and only reading out required backlight brightness data in the corresponding picture, an MCU in the constant current driving unit configures a current amplitude, and further determines an actual current value in the driving IC based on the backlight brightness data and the configured current amplitude, and implements brightness adjustment of the backlight current when the backlight brightness data and the configured current amplitude change smoothly through the SPI data, wherein the backlight brightness data and the backlight brightness data are determined by the backlight brightness data and the current amplitude, and the current amplitude change smoothly and the backlight brightness data are associated with the SPI data, and the current amplitude, and the backlight brightness data are not changed suddenly, and the current amplitude change in the backlight brightness data, and the backlight brightness data are further, and the backlight brightness are monitored, and the backlight brightness are changed, and the current amplitude is changed in the backlight brightness is changed when the backlight brightness is changed, and the backlight brightness is changed smoothly, and the backlight brightness is changed, the method avoids the flicker phenomenon caused by the influence of the sudden change of the brightness data of the backlight, optimizes the picture display effect, and solves the technical problem of poor picture display effect after the brightness of the backlight is adjusted.
Further, in another embodiment of the backlight brightness adjusting method according to the present application, referring to fig. 4, if it is determined that the backlight is currently in the brightness automatic adjusting mode, the step of determining the current amplitude corresponding to the backlight according to the backlight brightness data and a preset current setting value includes:
step S21, if the current brightness is determined to be in the automatic brightness adjusting mode, determining a total backlight brightness value according to the backlight brightness data;
in this embodiment, specifically, a switch control signal of the brightness automatic adjustment mode sent by the main board is obtained, whether the display screen is currently in the brightness automatic adjustment mode is determined according to the switch control signal of the brightness automatic adjustment mode, if the control signal for starting the brightness automatic adjustment mode is identified, it is determined that the display screen is currently in the brightness automatic adjustment mode, backlight brightness DATA corresponding to all brightness adjustment channels are summed to obtain a backlight brightness total value, for example, if the current display screen is adjusted through n brightness adjustment channels, the backlight brightness DATA have n in total, and the backlight brightness total value S = DATA (1) +. + DATA (n).
And step S22, if the total backlight brightness value is smaller than a preset brightness data threshold, increasing and adjusting a preset current set value according to the total backlight brightness value and the brightness data threshold to obtain a current amplitude corresponding to the backlight.
In this embodiment, specifically, the total backlight brightness value is compared with a preset brightness DATA threshold, and whether the total backlight brightness value is smaller than a preset brightness DATA threshold is determined, if the total backlight brightness value is smaller than the preset brightness DATA threshold, a preset current setting value is increased and adjusted according to a numerical relationship between the total backlight brightness value and the brightness DATA threshold, so as to obtain a current amplitude value corresponding to the backlight, if the total backlight brightness value is smaller than the preset brightness DATA threshold, the brightness of the backlight may not be required to be adjusted, where the numerical relationship between the total backlight brightness value and the brightness DATA threshold may be a ratio of the total backlight brightness value to the brightness DATA threshold, a difference between the total backlight brightness value and the brightness DATA threshold, a functional relationship between the total backlight brightness value and the brightness DATA threshold, and the like, and the preset brightness DATA threshold may be determined according to actual conditions, big DATA, actual test results, and the like, which is not limited in this embodiment, in a practical manner, the preset brightness DATA threshold is a single-channel brightness DATA threshold of each channel, and is a single-channel DATA threshold, for example, the current brightness DATA threshold is adjusted through n + 1 — n + 1.
Optionally, the step of increasing and adjusting a preset current setting value according to the backlight brightness total value and the brightness data threshold to obtain a current amplitude corresponding to the backlight includes:
step S221, determining a ratio of the total backlight brightness value to the brightness data threshold as a gain coefficient;
step S222, increasing and adjusting a preset current setting value according to the gain coefficient to obtain a current amplitude corresponding to the backlight.
In this embodiment, specifically, a ratio of the total backlight brightness value to the brightness data threshold is calculated, the ratio of the total backlight brightness value to the brightness data threshold is determined as a gain coefficient, and a preset current setting value is multiplied by the gain coefficient, so that a current amplitude corresponding to the backlight after being increased and adjusted is obtained, where the current amplitude is greater than the preset current setting value, and therefore, the brightness of the backlight after being adjusted based on the current amplitude and the backlight brightness data is greater than the brightness of the backlight after being adjusted based on the preset current setting value and the backlight brightness data, so that the overall brightness of the backlight can be controlled in a larger brightness range under the condition of avoiding the power overload risk, for example, if the total backlight brightness value is X1, the preset current setting value I0 is a maximum current amplitude without the power overload risk, X1 is preset as the brightness data threshold, and if the total backlight brightness value is X2 (X2 is less than X1), the amplitude of X2 and I0 is less than the maximum current amplitude without the power overload risk, and the current amplitude is increased to the maximum power risk of the backlight can be ensured under the condition of increasing the power of the maximum power if the backlight is X2.
Optionally, after the step of determining the total backlight brightness value according to the backlight brightness data, the method further includes:
step S23, if the total backlight brightness value is greater than or equal to a preset brightness data threshold, determining a preset current setting value as a current amplitude corresponding to the backlight.
In this embodiment, specifically, the total backlight brightness value is compared with a preset brightness data threshold, and whether the total backlight brightness value is smaller than the preset brightness data threshold is determined, and if the total backlight brightness value is greater than or equal to the preset brightness data threshold, a preset current setting value is determined as the current amplitude corresponding to the backlight.
In this embodiment, the adjusted current amplitude is increased to be greater than the preset current setting value, so that the brightness of the backlight lamp adjusted based on the current amplitude and the backlight brightness data is greater than the brightness of the backlight lamp adjusted based on the preset current setting value and the backlight brightness data, and therefore the overall brightness of the backlight lamp can be controlled within a larger brightness range without exceeding the power for closing the brightness automatic adjustment mode, thereby increasing the current to improve the picture brightness, avoiding the flicker phenomenon caused by the fluctuation of the SPI data, optimizing the picture display effect, and having a smaller calculation amount by using the method for adjusting the backlight brightness by using the constant current driving unit.
