Abstract

An explosion-proof valve is usually designed on the top cover of the battery to release air to prevent the battery from exploding. However, the conventional battery is often sealed by a rubber ring, and the structure is complex.

In the present embodiment, the battery 10 includes a case 11, a cap plate assembly 12, and an insulating adhesive sheet 14. The housing 11 includes a top plate 111, and a first through hole 113 is opened on the top plate 111. The housing 11 is a cylindrical hollow housing. The first through hole 113 may be a circular hole or a hole having another shape. The housing 11 is used to house a winding core.
The cover plate assembly 12 comprises a pole 13, the pole 13 comprises a column main body 132 and a column flange 133 which is turned up outwards at the top edge of the column main body 132, the column main body 132 extends into the first through hole 113, an installation through hole 131 is formed in the pole 13, an explosion-proof valve 181 is arranged in the installation through hole 131, and the explosion-proof valve 181 is sealed in the installation through hole 131. The mounting through-hole 131 may serve as a liquid injection hole for injecting liquid.
The insulating adhesive sheet 14 includes an insulating adhesive cylinder 141 and an insulating adhesive flange 142, which is turned up outward from the top edge of the insulating adhesive cylinder, and the insulating adhesive sheet 14 is used to seal and insulate the housing 11 and the pole 13. The inner side and the outer side of the insulating bonding cylinder 141 are respectively bonded with the outer side wall of the column main body 132 and the side wall of the first through hole 113 by hot pressing, and the upper side and the lower side of the insulating bonding flange 142 are respectively bonded with the column flange 133 and the outer side of the top plate 111 by hot pressing. In the embodiment of the present application, the second side hole 162 is a waist-shaped hole. The second through hole 151, the first side hole 152, and the third through hole 161 are circular holes, but may be set as the case may be.
In this embodiment, the explosion-proof valve 181 is welded to the column main body 132, and the explosion-proof valve 181 is depressurized when the internal pressure of the casing 11 reaches a preset value.
In the embodiment of the present application, the pole 13 is made of aluminum. Of course, this may be set as the case may be.

The battery of claim 1, wherein the cover plate assembly further comprises an insulating ring and a cover plate bus bar, two side surfaces of the insulating ring are respectively attached to the inner side surface of the top plate and one side surface of the cover plate bus bar, the insulating ring is provided with a second through hole and a plurality of first side holes surrounding the second through hole, the cover plate bus bar comprises a third through hole and a plurality of second side holes surrounding the third through hole, the column body sequentially extends into the first through hole, the second through hole and the third through hole, and the column body is connected with the cover plate bus bar in a nested manner.
3. The battery of claim 2, wherein the second side aperture is a kidney shaped aperture.
4. The battery of claim 1, wherein the explosion-proof valve is welded to the column body, and the explosion-proof valve is vented when the pressure inside the case reaches a preset value.
5. The battery of claim 1, wherein the material of the post is aluminum.
6. The battery of claim 1, wherein the housing includes a bottom sheet disposed opposite the top sheet.
7. The battery of claim 6, wherein the base plate is a positive bus bar and the cover plate is a negative bus bar.
8. The battery of claim 6, wherein the base plate is a negative bus bar and the cover plate is a positive bus bar.

A cover plate assembly is characterized in that the cover plate assembly is used for sealing and insulating a shell of a battery, the shell comprises a top plate, a first through hole is formed in the top plate, the cover plate assembly comprises a pole column, the pole column comprises a column main body and a column flanging, the top end edge of the column main body is turned outwards, the column main body extends into the first through hole, a mounting through hole is formed in the pole column, an explosion-proof valve is arranged in the mounting through hole, and the mounting through hole is sealed by the explosion-proof valve; the cover plate assembly is provided with an insulating adhesive sheet, the insulating adhesive sheet comprises an insulating adhesive cylinder and an insulating adhesive flanging which is turned outwards at the top edge of the insulating adhesive cylinder, and the insulating adhesive sheet is used for sealing and insulating the shell and the pole; the inner side and the outer side of the insulating bonding cylinder body are respectively bonded with the outer side wall of the column main body and the side wall of the first through hole in a hot-pressing mode, and the upper side face and the lower side face of the insulating bonding flanging are respectively bonded with the column flanging and the outer side of the top plate in a hot-pressing mode.

The cover plate assembly according to claim 9, further comprising an insulating ring and a cover plate bus bar, wherein two side surfaces of the insulating ring are respectively attached to the inner side surface of the top plate and one side surface of the cover plate bus bar, the insulating ring is provided with a second through hole and a plurality of first side holes surrounding the second through hole, the cover plate bus bar comprises a third through hole and a plurality of second side holes surrounding the third through hole, the column main body sequentially extends into the first through hole, the second through hole and the third through hole, and the column main body is connected with the cover plate bus bar in a nested manner.
