本申请实施例提供一种光纤放大器、波分复用系统及光通信设备,涉及光通信技术领域。该光纤放大器包括:第一泵浦光源和第一增益光纤,第一泵浦光源用于将泵浦光耦合至第一增益光纤,第一增益光纤包括第一纤芯和包覆在第一纤芯外部的第一包层,第一纤芯中具有增益介质,第一纤芯形成有多个沿第一增益光纤的长度方向布设的第一光栅;其中,第一光栅能够将第一纤芯的基模耦合至第一包层的与基模同向传输的高阶模。
