Description

Product with zipper and method for manufacturing product with zipper
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a product with a zipper and a method for manufacturing the product with the zipper, wherein the product with the zipper comprises the following components: an element member in which a plurality of fastener elements are attached to a longitudinal fixing member; and a member for attaching a slide fastener, which has an element attaching edge portion to which the element member is attached.
Background
In general, slide fasteners are widely used as opening/closing devices for products such as clothing, sundry goods for daily use, and industrial equipment, and products such as various seats of automobiles, trains, and aircrafts. Generally, a slide fastener used for such various products has: a pair of right and left fastener element tapes each having element rows formed on tape side edge portions of a fastener tape; and a slider that slides along the left and right element rows. Further, as one of the slide fasteners, there is known a slide fastener provided with a separable bottom end stop which can separate and separate right and left fastener element tapes.
In a conventional slide fastener or fastener element tape, for example, synthetic resin fastener elements or the like formed by injection molding are attached to a tape side edge portion of a fastener tape, and element rows are formed in the tape side edge portion. In addition, when a slide fastener is attached to a member to which the slide fastener is attached, such as a garment, it is common to perform a sewing operation of sewing the fastener tape except for the tape side edge portion (generally referred to as a tape main body portion) and a fastener attachment portion of the member to which the slide fastener is attached, with a sewing machine in a state where both are superposed. Therefore, in a general slide fastener, a fastener tape is generally used as an indispensable member (component) for constituting the slide fastener.
In contrast, for example, international publication No. 2018/142548 (patent document 1) describes a product with a slide fastener, which constitutes a slide fastener without using a fastener tape and has a separable bottom end stop formed at a predetermined position.
As shown in fig. 8, for example, a product with a slide fastener 70 described in patent document 1 is a garment, and fastener elements 71 are sewn to left and right fabric pieces 72 forming the garment, respectively. Each of the left and right element members 71 includes a string-like fixing member 73 and a plurality of synthetic resin fastener elements 74 fixed to the fixing member 73.
Each fastener element 74 of the element member 71 is formed into a predetermined shape by injection molding of synthetic resin. The fastener element 74 includes: a main body portion fixed to the fixing member 73; a neck portion extending from the body portion and having a shape formed by necking; an engagement head extending further from the neck; and a shoulder portion protruding from the neck portion in a thin plate shape. The fastener element member 71 is directly fixed to the fabric 72 by a fixing sewing portion 75 and an auxiliary sewing portion 76 formed by sewing with a sewing machine.
In the product with a slide fastener (garment) 70 in which the right and left element members 71 are directly sewn to the fabric 72 as in patent document 1, a fastener tape required in a conventional general slide fastener is not required, and therefore, the product can be reduced in weight and improved in flexibility.

Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
In the case of the product 70 with a slide fastener described in patent document 1, the fixing sewn portion 75 and the auxiliary sewn portion 76, which fix the element members 71 to the fabric 72, are exposed on the surface (outer surface) of the fabric 72 exposed to the outside, and therefore, the fixing sewn portion 75 and the auxiliary sewn portion 76 are disposed so as to be seen from the outside of the product 70. Therefore, depending on the product 70 with a zipper, the fixed sewn portion 75 and the auxiliary sewn portion 76 may affect the appearance quality of the product.
The fixing sewn portion 75 and the auxiliary sewn portion 76 are formed by sewing a part of the fabric 72 and the element member 71 by a sewing machine in a state where the part of the fabric 72 is folded back in a U shape. Therefore, the fixing sewing portion 75 and the auxiliary sewing portion 76 are formed so as to penetrate from the outer surface of the fabric 72 exposed to the outside to the back surface of the portion folded back in a U shape at the needle drop position of the sewing machine at the time of sewing.
However, in this case, when a liquid such as water adheres to the outer surface of the cloth 72, the liquid may easily penetrate into the back surface of the cloth 72 through a through portion that penetrates from the outer surface to the back surface of the cloth 72. Therefore, in the product with a slide fastener 70 of patent document 1, it is difficult to impart waterproofness to the portion of the fabric 72 to which the element member 71 is fixed, so as to prevent water and the like from entering the back surface.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional problems, and an object thereof is to provide a product with a slide fastener in which a sewing portion for fixing an element member to an element attachment edge portion can be hardly seen, and a method for manufacturing the product with the slide fastener.

Detailed Description
Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described below, and various modifications can be made as long as the present invention has substantially the same structure and the same operational effects as those of the present invention.
For example, in the following embodiments, a case where the product with a zipper is a garment with a zipper will be described, but the product with a zipper of the present invention is not limited to a garment (clothes), and includes various products such as daily sundries such as shoes and bags, products such as industrial equipment, and various seats such as automobiles, trains, and aircrafts.
Example 1
Fig. 1 is a plan view schematically showing a main part of a product with a zipper (garment) according to the present embodiment, and fig. 2 is an enlarged bottom view schematically showing a back surface of the product with a zipper. Fig. 3 is a sectional view schematically showing a section of the product with the slide fastener shown in fig. 1. Fig. 4 is a plan view showing the element member, and fig. 5 is a perspective view showing a fastener element of the element member shown in fig. 4 in an enlarged manner.
In the following description, the front-rear direction refers to a longitudinal direction of the element member parallel to a sliding direction of the slider, and in particular, a direction in which the slider slides so as to engage the left and right element rows is defined as a front direction, and a direction in which the slider slides so as to separate the left and right element rows is defined as a rear direction.
The left-right direction is a width direction of the element member (or a direction in which the left and right fabric materials are pulled apart from each other in a state where the left and right element rows are engaged with each other), and is, for example, a direction perpendicular to a sliding direction of the slider and parallel to an outer surface of the fabric material. The vertical direction is a direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction and the left-right direction, and for example, is a thickness direction of the element member orthogonal to the outer surface (upper surface) and the back surface (lower surface) of the fabric. In particular, in the following cases, the direction of the side of the slider where the tab of the slider is arranged with respect to the element member is set to be upward, and the direction of the opposite side thereof is set to be downward. In this case, the outer surface of the fabric means a surface exposed to the outside when the zipper-equipped garment is worn, and the back surface of the fabric means a surface facing the body.
The product with a zipper 1 of the present embodiment is a garment (clothing) 1 with a zipper, and a zipper 5 as shown in fig. 1 is formed in a front fly of the garment 1. Further, left and right element attaching edge portions 7 for attaching the left and right element members 10 are provided on the left and right cloth 6 forming the front body (particularly, the fly portion) of the garment 1 serving as the opening and closing portion.
In this case, the fabric 6 (also referred to as a clothing fabric) constituting the fly part of the garment 1 serves as a member to which the fastener element member 10 is attached. Therefore, as shown in fig. 1, the slide fastener 5 formed in the present embodiment includes: a pair of left and right fastener element tape portions including element rows 11 formed by directly fixing the element members 10 to the fabric 6 of the garment 1; and a slider 30 capable of engaging and disengaging the element rows 11 of the left and right fastener element tape parts.
In the present embodiment, the thickness, form, flexibility and other properties of the cloth 6 as the member to which the slide fastener is attached are not particularly limited, but the cloth 6 is preferably formed so that a sewing machine needle can penetrate when sewing by a sewing machine.
In the present embodiment, the element attaching edge portion 7 provided to the fabric 6 has a predetermined dimension in the width direction of the element member 10 from the opposite side edges of the fabric 6 constituting the left and right fly portions facing each other toward the inside of the fabric 6 in the completed slide-fastened garment 1, and is continuously formed along the longitudinal direction of the element member 10. In the case of the present embodiment, the element attaching edge portion 7 is a portion including at least a range from the above-mentioned opposite side edge to a tip end of a folded-back side attaching edge portion 9, which will be discussed later, in the width direction.
Each of the left and right element attaching edge portions 7 has: a1 st surface 7a forming one surface of the fabric 6; and a2 nd surface 7b which is disposed on the opposite side of the 1 st surface 7a of the fabric 6 and forms the other surface of the fabric 6. As shown in fig. 3, each element attaching edge portion 7 has a form in which a part of the element attaching edge portion 7 in the width direction is folded back in a U shape toward the lower surface side so that the 2 nd surface 7b of the element attaching edge portion 7 faces each other. This can improve the strength of the element attaching edge portion 7.
In this case, the 2 nd surface 7b of the element attaching edge portion 7 bent in the U shape forms the inner peripheral surface of the element attaching edge portion 7, and the 1 st surface 7a of the element attaching edge portion 7 forms the outer peripheral surface of the element attaching edge portion 7. In the element attaching edge portion 7 bent in the U-shape, when a cross section orthogonal to the front-rear direction of the element attaching edge portion 7 is viewed, and a central portion in the vertical direction of the element attaching edge portion 7 is defined as a folded-back center position 7c, the element attaching edge portion 7 includes: a main body side attachment edge portion 8 extending from the folded-back center position 7c toward the element attachment edge portion 7; and a folded-back side attaching edge portion 9 extending from the folded-back center position 7c to the other side of the element attaching edge portion 7.
Here, the folded-back center position 7c can also be referred to as a position closest to the fastener element 12 of the element member 10 in the element attaching edge portion 7 instead. The main body side attaching edge portion 8 of the element attaching edge portion 7 extends from the folding-back center position 7c toward the outer surface 6a side of the element attaching edge portion 7 (fabric 6) exposed to the outside. The folded-back side mounting edge portion 9 is a portion extending from the folded-back center position 7c toward the back surface (inner surface) 6b side of the element mounting edge portion 7.
The folded-back side mounting edge portion 9 is fixed (welded) to the main body side mounting edge portion 8 by a welding tape 40. In the present embodiment, the welding tape 40 is attached to the 2 nd surface 7b of the element attaching edge portion 7 over the entire range from the folded-back center position 7c of the element attaching edge portion 7 to the tip edge (cut edge) of the folded-back side attaching edge portion 9 in the left-right direction, and the 2 nd surface 7b of the main body side attaching edge portion 8 and the 2 nd surface 7b of the folded-back side attaching edge portion 9 are fixed by the welding tape 40 in this range. This can further improve the strength of the element attaching edge portion 7.
In addition, even if a sewing machine needle penetrates the element attaching edge portion 7 to form a through portion penetrating from the 1 st surface 7a to the 2 nd surface 7b in the element attaching edge portion 7 in the sewing process by the sewing machine as described later, the element attaching edge portion 7 and the element member 10 can be closed by the welding tape 40 on the 2 nd surface 7b side of the through portion. This effectively prevents water or the like from entering the 2 nd surface 7b from the 1 st surface 7a of the element attaching edge portion 7 and from entering the back surface 6b from the outer surface 6a of the element attaching edge portion 7, and thus water resistance can be imparted to the element attaching edge portion 7 subjected to sewing.
In the present invention, for example, only a part of the 2 nd surface 7b of the main body side attachment edge portion 8 and a part of the 2 nd surface 7b of the folded-back side attachment edge portion 9 may be fixed by the welding tape 40 in the above-described range in the right-left direction. The main body side mounting edge portion 8 and the folded-back side mounting edge portion 9 of the element mounting edge portion 7 may be welded by other welding means such as ultrasonic welding, or may be adhered by an adhesive or the like, instead of the welding tape 40 as in the present embodiment. The main body side attachment edge portion 8 and the folded-back side attachment edge portion 9 may be sewn together with a thread, for example.
The left and right element members 10 in the present embodiment are sewn to the left and right element attaching edge portions 7 provided to the garment 1 along the longitudinal direction. Each of the left and right element members 10 includes a plurality of independent fastener elements 12 (also referred to as individual fastener elements) and 1 string-shaped fixing member 15 (also referred to as a coupling member) for coupling the plurality of fastener elements 12 at a predetermined interval.
The fixing member 15 is a string (also referred to as a braided wire) formed by wrapping a core wire composed of a plurality of multifilament yarns doubled with a pocket portion knitted with a plurality of knitting yarns, and has flexibility. The fixing member 15 used in the present invention is not particularly limited as long as a plurality of fastener elements 12 can be attached thereto, and may be formed of, for example, a monofilament or a twisted wire (a twisted string). The fixing member 15 has a substantially circular cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, but in the present invention, the cross sectional shape of the fixing member is not particularly limited.
Each fastener element 12 of the element member 10 is formed integrally with the fixing member 15 by injection molding a thermoplastic resin such as polyacetal to the fixing member 15 and covering the entire outer peripheral surface of a part of the fixing member 15. In the present invention, the material of the fastener element 12 is not limited to the above synthetic resin, and the fastener element may be formed of, for example, other synthetic resin or metal. The element member of the present invention is not limited to a member in which the fastener element is injection-molded to the fixing member, and includes, for example, a member in which a fastener element formed in a predetermined shape in advance is fixed to the fixing member by welding, adhesion, or the like.
As shown in fig. 5, each fastener element 12 of the present embodiment includes: a main body 12a fixed to the fixing member 15; a neck portion 12b extending in the width direction from the body portion 12a and having a shape formed by necking; an engaging head 12c that extends further in the width direction from the neck portion 12b and is substantially oblong in plan view; and a shoulder portion 12d that protrudes in a thin plate shape forward and rearward from the neck portion 12 b.
The body portion 12a of the fastener element 12 has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape, and is formed by wrapping the fixing member 15 so that the fixing member 15 penetrates in the front-rear direction. In this case, the fixing member 15 is held at the central portion in the thickness direction in the main body portion 12 a. The neck portion 12b extends from the body portion 12a in one width direction, and is formed to reduce the length dimension (dimension in the length direction) of the neck portion 12b with respect to the body portion 12 a. The neck portion 12b has a shape constricted so that the length dimension thereof is smallest at a predetermined position.
A recessed portion 12e into which a shoulder portion 12d of the fastener element 12 on the coupling target side is fitted when the left and right element rows 11 are coupled is formed along the longitudinal direction at the tip end portion (tip end portion) of the coupling head 12 c. The upper surface and the lower surface of each of the body portion 12a, the neck portion 12b, and the shoulder portion 12d of each fastener element 12 are formed as parallel surfaces orthogonal to the thickness direction. The side wall surface of the main body portion 12a, which is disposed on the opposite side of the neck portion 12b in the width direction, is a surface that contacts the element attachment edge portion 7, and is formed as a plane orthogonal to the width direction. In the present invention, the shape and size of the fastener element are not particularly limited, and may be changed arbitrarily.
As shown in fig. 4, a gap 16 exposing the fixing member 15 is formed between the body portions 12a of the fastener elements 12 adjacent in the longitudinal direction. In each gap 16 formed between the fastener elements 12, the element member 10 is sewn to the fabric 6 by a fixing sewing portion 20 to be described later, and the fixing member 15 is pressed and held by a1 st sewing thread 21 of the fixing sewing portion 20.
The element member 10 is fixed to the outer peripheral surface (1 st surface) 7a of the element attachment edge portion 7 by a fixing sewing portion (fixing sewing thread) 20. In this case, the element member 10 is fixed to the outside in the width direction at a position adjacent to the element attaching edge portion 7 bent in the U shape as described above along the longitudinal direction by the fixing sewing portion 20. The element member 10 is fixed to the element attaching edge portion 7 in a state where the body portion 12a of each fastener element 12 is in contact with a part of the element attaching edge portion 7.
The fixing sewn portion 20 is formed in a zigzag shape by partially bending a stitch of a flat seam in the longitudinal direction of the element member 10 by sewing with a zigzag overlock sewing machine as will be described later. The sewing thread forming the fixing sewing portion 20 includes a1 st sewing thread 21 disposed on the 1 st surface (outer circumferential surface) 7a side of the element attaching edge portion 7 and a2 nd sewing thread 22 disposed on the 2 nd surface (inner circumferential surface) 7b side of the element attaching edge portion 7 (see fig. 3 and 7). The 1 st sewing thread 21 and the 2 nd sewing thread 22 of the present embodiment use conventional general sewing threads. In fig. 3, the portion of the 2 nd sewing thread 22 of the fixing sewn portion 20 disposed on the 2 nd surface 7b (inner circumferential surface) is covered with the welding tape 40, and therefore, illustration thereof is omitted.
The fixing sewing portion 20 penetrates the element attaching edge portion 7 from the 1 st surface (outer circumferential surface) 7a to the 2 nd surface (inner circumferential surface) 7b at a portion where the sewing machine needle pierces the element attaching edge portion 7 at a predetermined needle drop position at the time of sewing by the zigzag overlock sewing machine. The 1 st and 2 nd sewing threads 21 and 22 of the fixing sewing portion 20 intersect with each other only at a position where the fixing sewing portion 20 penetrates the element attachment edge portion 7 by being interlaced.
The 1 st sewing line 21 and the 2 nd sewing line 22 intersect each other at a position substantially in the center of the element attaching edge portion 7 in the thickness direction. This protects the intersecting portion of the 1 st sewing thread 21 and the 2 nd sewing thread 22 with the element attaching edge portion 7, and makes the intersecting portion difficult to be seen from the outside. Further, the crossing position of the 1 st sewing thread 21 and the 2 nd sewing thread 22 in the thickness direction of the element attaching edge portion 7 can be easily changed by performing tension control of the 1 st sewing thread 21 and the 2 nd sewing thread 22 in the zigzag lockstitch sewing machine.
In the present embodiment, the fixing sewn portion 20 includes: a main body side through portion 23 that penetrates the main body side attachment edge portion 8 of the element attachment edge portion 7; and a folded-back side through-portion 24 that penetrates the folded-back side attachment edge portion 9 of the element attachment edge portion 7. In this case, the main body side through-hole 23 of the fixing sewing portion 20 is provided on the outer surface 6a side of the element attaching edge portion 7 exposed to the outside, and the folded-back side through-hole 24 is provided on the back surface 6b side of the element attaching edge portion 7.
When a cross section orthogonal to the front-rear direction of the element attachment edge portion 7 in a state where the element member 10 is fixed is viewed (see fig. 3), the main body side through hole 23 of the fixing sewing portion 20 is provided at a position closer to the element member 10 than the folded-back side through hole 24 in the width direction. This reduces the portion of the fixing sewn portion 20 (particularly, the 1 st sewing thread 21 of the fixing sewn portion 20) exposed to the outer surface 6a of the element attaching edge portion 7, and therefore reduces the influence of the fixing sewn portion 20 on the appearance of the clothing with a slide fastener 1.
As shown in fig. 1, 2, and 6, for example, in the fixing sewn portion 20 of the present embodiment, 1 body-side through portion 23 is provided in the body-side mounting edge portion 8 for 1 fastener element 12. On the other hand, 3 folded-back side penetrating portions 24 are provided in the folded-back side attachment edge portion 9 for 1 fastener element 12.
By making the number of the main body side through-holes 23 provided for 1 fastener element 12 smaller than the number of the folded-back side through-holes 24 in this manner, the fixing sewn portion 20 (in particular, the 1 st sewing thread 21 of the fixing sewn portion 20) can be made less conspicuous in the outer surface 6a of the element attaching edge portion 7 than in the back surface 6b of the element attaching edge portion 7. Therefore, the appearance of the clothes with a zipper 1 can be further improved. Further, by making the number of the folded-back side through-portions 24 provided for 1 fastener element 12 larger than the number of the main body side through-portions 23, the element member 10 can be easily and reliably fixed to the element attaching edge portion 7.
In the present embodiment, the number of main body side through holes 23 and the number of folded-back side through holes 24 provided for each 1 fastener element 12 can be changed. In this case, the number of main body side through holes 23 provided for each 1 fastener element 12 is preferably smaller than the number of folding side through holes 24. For example, in the present embodiment, two main body side through holes 23, or 3 or more main body side through holes 23 may be provided for every 1 fastener element 12. In the case where a plurality of body-side through-holes 23 are provided for each 1 fastener element 12, the 1 st sewing thread 21 and the 2 nd sewing thread 22 may be crossed by changing the position of 1 element, or the 1 st sewing thread 21 and the 2 nd sewing thread 22 may be crossed at the same position a plurality of times. The folded-back side through-portions 24 may be provided two by 1 fastener element 12, or may be provided 4 or more by one. In the present embodiment, the fixing sewn portion 20 may be formed by changing the number of main body side through-holes 23 and the number of folded back side through-holes 24 for each fastener element 12.
As shown in fig. 6, the fixing sewn portion 20 has a spanning portion 25 between the main body side through portion 23 and the folded-back side through portion 24, and in this spanning portion 25, the 1 st sewing thread 21 spans over the fixing member 15 in a direction intersecting with the longitudinal direction of the fixing member 15, and thereby spans over the outer peripheral surface of the fixing member 15. In each of the straddling portions 25 of the fixing sewn portion 20, the 1 st sewing thread 21 straddles the fixing member 15, and the fixing member 15 is held by the element attaching edge portion 7 while being pressed.
In the case of the present embodiment, in each gap 16 between the fastener elements 12 adjacent in the longitudinal direction, two crossing portions 25 extend from 1 main body side through portion 23 toward each folded back side through portion 24. By providing two spanning portions 25 in each gap 16 between the fastener elements 12 in this manner, the element member 10 can be stably fixed to the element attaching edge portion 7.
In the present embodiment, in the spanning portion 25 of the fixing sewn portion 20, not only the 1 st sewing thread 21 may span the fixing member 15, but also the 1 st sewing thread 21 and the 2 nd sewing thread 22 may penetrate the fixing member 15 and the element attachment edge portion 7 to intersect with each other. That is, the fixing sewn portion 20 may have a holding through portion in which the 1 st sewing thread 21 and the 2 nd sewing thread 22 penetrate both the fixing member 15 and the element attaching edge portion 7 and intersect each other in the middle of the spanning portion 25. This enables the element member 10 to be more reliably fixed to the element attachment edge portion 7.
As shown in fig. 1, the slider 30 attached to the element row 11 of the present embodiment includes a slider body 31 and a pull tab 32 held by the slider body 31. The slider body 31 of the present embodiment has substantially the same structure as that of a conventional slider body commonly used for fastener elements formed by injection molding. That is, the slider body 31 of the present embodiment includes: an upper wing plate; a lower wing plate which is separated from and arranged in parallel with the upper wing plate; a connecting column for connecting the front end part of the upper wing plate and the front end part (shoulder opening side end part) of the lower wing plate; upper and lower flange portions disposed at left and right side edge portions of the upper wing plate and the lower wing plate; and a pull-tab attaching portion which is disposed on the upper surface of the upper flap and which holds a pull tab 32.
Further, left and right shoulder openings are formed at the front end of the slider body 31 so as to sandwich the coupling post, and a rear opening is formed at the rear end of the slider body 31. A substantially Y-shaped element guide path is formed between the upper wing plate and the lower wing plate to communicate the left and right shoulder openings and the rear opening. By using the slider 30 having such a structure, the right and left element members 10 directly fixed to the element attaching edge portion 7 of the garment 1 can be smoothly engaged and disengaged.
Next, a method of manufacturing the clothing with a slide fastener 1 of the present embodiment having the above-described element members 10 will be described.
First, a pair of right and left element members 10 and a cloth 6 for the garment 1 are prepared. The element member 10 of the present embodiment is manufactured by forming the fastener elements 12 on the 1 string-shaped fixing members 15 by injection molding of synthetic resin as described above.
Further, a pair of left and right front body cloths 6 (cloth portions) having a predetermined shape as a member for attaching a slide fastener are manufactured separately from the element member 10. At this time, a pair of side edges disposed opposite to the left and right front body cloths 6 are element attachment edges 7, respectively.
Next, a sewing process is performed in which the fastener element member 10 is fixed to the fastener element attaching edge portion 7 of the produced fabric 6 using a zigzag overlock sewing machine.
In this sewing process, first, at least a portion of the element attachment edge portion 7 of the fabric 6 to which the element member 10 is fixed is kept flat, and the element member 10 is placed on the 1 st surface 7a of the element attachment edge portion 7 kept flat as shown in fig. 7. At this time, the element member 10 is placed on the element attaching edge portion 7 in a standing posture in which the body portion 12a of the fastener element 12 is in contact with the element attaching edge portion 7 and the coupling head portion 12c of the fastener element 12 is farthest upward from the element attaching edge portion 7.
Next, the element member 10 is sewn to the element attaching edge portion 7 using a zigzag overlock sewing machine with respect to the element attaching edge portion 7 and the element member 10 in the standing posture. At this time, coordinate data of a plurality of needle drop positions is set in advance in the zigzag overlock sewing machine. By sewing the element member 10 and the element attachment edge portion 7 of the fabric 6 using a zigzag overlock sewing machine, the element member 10 can be fixed by sewing the element attachment edge portion 7 with the fixing sewing portion 20 while stably forming the fixing sewing portion 20 as shown in fig. 6 and 7. In the present embodiment, the fixing sewing portion 20 is formed by a flat-seamed stitch, so that the element member 10 can be reliably fixed to the element attaching edge portion 7.
At this time, as shown in fig. 7, a part of the element attaching edge portion 7 and the fixing member 15 of the element member 10 are sandwiched and supported between the 1 st sewing thread 21 and the 2 nd sewing thread 22 forming the fixing sewing portion 20. Thus, the fixing member 15 is held so as to be pressed toward the element attachment edge portion 7 by the 1 st sewing thread 21, and is thus fixed to the element attachment edge portion 7.
In the sewing process of the present embodiment, the above-described main body side through-hole 23 of the fixing sewing portion 20 is provided at a rate of 1 part for 1 fastener element 12, and the above-described folded-back side through-hole 24 of the fixing sewing portion 20 is provided at a rate of 3 parts for 1 fastener element 12.
The main body side through portion 23 of the fixing sewing portion 20 is disposed at a position between the upper surface 12a1 of the main body portion 12a of the fastener element 12 and the fixing member 15 in the intersecting direction X (see fig. 6 and 7) orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the element member 10 (in other words, the conveying direction of the sewing machine) on the 1 st surface 7a of the element attaching edge portion 7. At least 1 of the folded-back side penetrating parts 24 provided for 1 fastener element 12 is disposed at a position farther from the fixing member 15 than the lower surface 12a2 of the body 12a of the fastener element 12 in the intersecting direction X.
As described above, by making the relative positions of the main body side through hole 23 and the folded side through hole 24 of the fixing sewn portion 20 in the intersecting direction X with respect to the element members 10 different, when the slide fastener clothing 1 is manufactured, the main body side through hole 23 can be provided at a position closer to the element members 10 than the folded side through hole 24 in the width direction as shown in fig. 3.
After the sewing process by the zigzag overlock sewing machine, a part of the element attaching edge portion 7 to which the element member 10 is fixed is folded back so that the 2 nd surface 7b of the element attaching edge portion 7 faces each other, thereby forming the main body side attaching edge portion 8 and the folded-back side attaching edge portion 9. At the same time, the folded-back side mounting edge portion 9 is welded and fixed to the main body side mounting edge portion 8 by inserting the welding tape 40 between the main body side mounting edge portion 8 and the folded-back side mounting edge portion 9 and heating. This makes it possible to manufacture the left and right garment components of the fastener element member 10 fixed to the element attaching edge portion 7 by the fixing sewing portions 20.
Thereafter, the garment 1 is assembled by joining the manufactured garment components and the like. The slider 30 is slidably attached to the element row 11 formed by the element member 10 being fixed to the element attaching edge portion 7. This enables stable production of the zipper-equipped garment 1 as shown in fig. 1.
The clothing with a slide fastener 1 of the present embodiment manufactured as described above can have the function of the slide fastener 5 without the presence of a fastener tape which is necessary in the conventional slide fastener. This can reduce the manufacturing cost of the clothes 1 with a zipper, reduce the weight of the clothes 1, and improve the flexibility of the clothes 1.
In the clothing with a slide fastener 1 of the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 to 3, the 2 nd sewing thread 22 of the fixing sewn portion 20 can be hidden in the inner peripheral surface (2 nd surface) 7b of the element attaching edge 7, and the portion of the fixing sewn portion 20 exposed to the outer surface 6a of the element attaching edge 7 can be reduced. Accordingly, the fixing sewn portion 20 can be hardly seen from the outside of the clothes 1 with the zipper, and therefore, the influence of the fixing sewn portion 20 on the appearance quality of the clothes 1 can be reduced, and the appearance of the clothes 1 can be improved.
In the clothing with a slide fastener 1 according to the above-described embodiment, the fixing sewn portion 20 for fixing the element member 10 to the element attaching edge portion 7 is formed by a flat-sewn seam. However, in the present invention, the fixing sewing portion 20 for fixing the element member 10 to the element attaching edge portion 7 may be formed of chain stitches. The same effects as those of the clothes with a slide fastener 1 of the above embodiment can be obtained also in the clothes with a slide fastener in which the fixing sewing part 20 is formed of chain stitches.
In the above-described embodiment, for example, for waterproofing, a synthetic resin may be applied to the cloth 6 forming the garment, or a waterproof film member may be bonded to the cloth 6 forming the garment. The element attaching edge portion 7 of the fabric 6 and the vicinity thereof may be subjected to reinforcing processing such as impregnation with a reinforcing agent or adhesion of a reinforcing film member.
