Detailed Description
The embodiments provided in the present invention are described below with reference to the drawings. In this document, the use of directional terms such as "upper" and "lower" is to be understood with reference to the corresponding drawings.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, fig. 1 is a schematic structural view of a waterproof connector according to an embodiment of the present invention, illustrating a state where a connection base 100 is fitted to a sealing cap 200; fig. 2 is a schematic structural view of a waterproof connector provided in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, which illustrates a state in which the connection base 100 is fitted to the connection plug 300.
The waterproof connector provided by the present invention includes a connection base 100, a sealing cap 200, and a connection plug 300.
As shown, the connection base 100 includes a connection boss 110, a protective fixing cover 130, and a plurality of conductive rods 120. In this embodiment, the connection boss 110 may be mounted in other suitable components for connection with circuit wires and may be raised upwardly to form a boss structure. In this embodiment, two conductive rods 120 are included, and the lower ends of the conductive rods 120 are inserted into the connection bosses 110 and connected with the internal wires to form a circuit. The upper end of the conductive rod 120 projects upward to mate with an electrical connection jack.
The protective fixing cover 130 is located at the outer circumference of the conductive rod 120 and protrudes upward from the surface of the connection boss 110 to form a protection against the conductive rod 120. Generally, the shield fixing cover 130 is slightly higher than the height of the conductive rod 120 to cover the conductive rod 120. As shown in fig. 1, the sealing cap 200 has a cylindrical structure with a closed upper end and an open lower end. At least a portion of the outer circumferential surface of the coupling boss 110 and the outer circumferential surface of the shield fixing cover 130 are simultaneously screw-sealingly engaged with the inner surface of the sealing cover 200. That is, the inner wall of the sealing cover 200 is a cylindrical structure, and can be in sealing fit with the outer peripheral surface of the protective fixing cover 130 and the outer peripheral surface of the connecting boss 110.
As shown in fig. 2, the connection plug 300 includes a plug body and an electrical connection jack; corresponding electric wires are arranged in the plug body, and the electric connection jacks are electrically connected with the electric wires. When the end face of the plug body is engaged with the surface of the connection boss 110, the electrical connection jack is engaged with the conductive rod 120. In this embodiment, the number of electrical connection holes is equal to the number of conductive rods 120, and the electrical connection holes correspond to the conductive rods one by one.
Thus, the waterproof connector of the first embodiment has two states. It is understood that, in the embodiment, the sealing cover 200, the connection base 100 and the plug body may be made of rubber materials, so that corresponding deformation may be generated when the sealing cover, the connection base and the plug body are matched, and good sealing performance is maintained.
As shown in fig. 1, in embodiment 1, the seal cover 200 is further provided with a wire 201 and a wire screw 202. The wire hanging screw 202 may be fixed in the corresponding part so that the sealing cover 200 is kept connected to the connection base 100 by the wire hanging 201. In the on state, the sealing cover 200 is separated from the connection base 100, the electrical connection jack of the connection plug 300 is engaged with the conductive rod 120, and the sealing cover 200 is attached to the connection base 100 by the hanging wire 201, so that the sealing cover 200 is engaged with the connection base 100 when the on state is converted into the off state.
In this embodiment, the surface of the connection boss 110 may form a water-leaving protruding step 112 around the conductive rod 120. Thus, the water-isolating raised step 112 can isolate water, thereby preventing or reducing the possibility of the contact between the conductive rod 120 and water, and improving the waterproof effect. In the first embodiment, not only the end surface of the plug body is engaged with the surface of the connection boss 110 to form a seal, but also the side surface of the plug body is engaged with the side surface of the drain groove 131 to form a seal. That is, in the passage state, the plug body can compensate for the "notch" (i.e., the drainage groove 131) of the protective fixing cover 130 to form a side sealing fit.
